Right first can i say i am very sorry for my rant last night, i had a medical appointment this morning which i was very very freaked out about, without realising it, and that manifested itself as depression, self loathing, and a very uncalled for rage at stuff....and so forth came the rant.

Well after seeing my specialist medical man, i've found although i might need an operation, it would be a good positive one, i for the first time know where i am with this problem -Snoring and Sleep Apnoea leading to constant fatigue and short temperedness.

So i am sorry for being self indulgent and subjecting you all to my rant but i am feeling better now...and even have a new nasal spray!! yay!

But as a footnote i want to say thankyou for all your support..

Well there is nothing like the feeling of being generally hacked off...i know thats not technically allowed...but still there you are...and then putting some pictures that you've taken with your new camera (which is lovely by the way) and then putting what you think to be the best on here...and what response do you get...fuck all. Well i think thats because its not cats or pussy if you get my meaning.
Yes i know i am not the best photographer in the world..by a long chalk but why the hell is that when you are feeling at the end of your tether..and all you want is a bit of comfort and maybe a emotional and physical coccon...what do you get..>SWEET FUCK ALL...thankyou so much...rant over!

Well..what can i say...i had been shooting a river at night with some sodium lighting...and i was on a steep slope with the camera on my new tripod. I came back to the level ground next to the river and without thinking put my camera and tripod on the level...where it duly fell over and on impact my lens went shooting across the floor, the locking flange having sheared as i later found out. However that in itself isnt a problem.
It landed also on the memory card slot...so it will no longer recognize the memory card so that's it. It's now useless...and at first it didn't bother me but now i am beginning to feel like i've had an arm cut off.....
It's the only artistic thing that i am even remotely good at....so i am hacked off about it.

I also having been looking into getting a new one...as it wasn't insured...of course...but unfortunately i don't think parting with 330 quid for a d60 would be good right now...no matter how much i want it...

Well what can i say, the other day i took some images i was really pleased with, some spontaneous portraits taken of people gathered to look at a steam train.
I was really pleased with them, especially the ones of the train crew and an older gentleman enjoying his pipe on that station...unfortunately the response has not been what i had hoped, and my more traditional images of the steam train itself have gotten faves while the ones i was most proud of have languished...oh well...maybe its the fates well telling me i need to start doing nude images, of women...not me!!, that would get me faves....
