Its been quite a while...

I havent had ADSL, and dial-up was a cunt-on-wheels (scuse the language for anyone who was offended by my highly sexual bad language, but really, tough tits). I am back on DSL and happy as a pig in poo.

Ive been working my arse off a City Varsity. The students are cool and wonderful (and could be reading this ) but this last little break has been good.

Otherwise not much else has been happening.

So i bought a new Camera, a Nikon D200 (Fucking sexy beast it is) and no you cant touch it.



Recently ive been doing a projoct with Old Mutual and Icon Image. Its an Old Mutual On The Edge project, in fact it was the Pilot project and was entitled "Story of a drop of water" (Featured in Die Burger on the 11th of April) Anyway... The project was split up into groups. The story of an urban river, People and the sea, Wasting water, Conserving water, alien vegitation and Sacred water. Oh yes i should mention it was an environmental project. Either way, my team was on the Urban river. We followed the liesbeek river from source on table mountain down to the black river, then followed the black river from althlone to paarden eiland. We actually rafted down that polluted river to shoot it and twas quite enjoyable.

Yeah new year *mumble mumble*. Its started off quite well, im moving out on the 5th of feb which should be very fucking good and just about due.

Other news: Some of my photos were featured in the Art Times recently. They were photos of Body Spectra 2006. One of the photos actually made the cover which is pretty cool but im not too sure if i agree with the choice of photograph, but hey its still pretty cool. Apparently a magazine in Rome has expressed interest in those photographs as well so we shall see how that pans out.

This year im also lecturing. Im going to be teaching basic digital photography for first year multimedia and design students at City Varsity. We are actually going to try something interesting, were going to get the students to set up Deviantart accounts (or Flickr, but thats a bitch to set up, blah) and their work will be critiqued and marked over the internet. This way the students can have outside critiques and get a chance to browse their peer's work at leisure. I think this could be quite successful, what do you guys think?

The other teaching job im doing is teaching Digital Photography for the second year Professional Photography students. Ive got quite a nice little lesson plan for them dealing a lot with the cross-over from film to digital, technical theory and software including archiving software and RAW work-flow software. This one im quite looking forward to. There might be some other work in the Pro Photography dept but thats all up in the air.

Im in the process of setting up a website, so hopefully that will be done pretty soon, if anyone out there can give me some advice please drop it my way.


I cant think of what else i can tell you guys, ive got a few jobs lined up and still growing my client base.

Oh yes, i met up with today. You guys must go have a look at her work, i got a chance of seeing the prints of quite a few of her deviations as well as some other photographs. They are very interesting and insightful, certain subtleties that just make them great. go look now!!!!!!

Back at varsity now for the last term, 3 weeks left until its all over and a shit load of work. Im trying to balance life with varsity at the moment and trying to shoot as much as possible.

The studio sessions have been going well and youve seen some products of them. Ive been doing a lot of photographic jobs lately and managed to afford to buy another Hasselblad. This time the 500ELM. Its fundimentally the same as the other one except it has motordrive and is based on the design that was sent to the moon back in 1969, its a cute little animal.

So one of the lecturers has left the varsity for some reason and guess who has had to take over her job as studio lecturer for the first year students........I have no time to myself. Its fun and all but just takes up so much time, with that said im still happy to be in the studio so often now.

We have been given a final studio project entitled "Zip Obsession" and it has grown out of control. Ive done some work on it and doing some more this comming monday. Basically the idea is this: The model (Janet) is wearing nothing but Zips that have been placed on her body in a pattern, basically outlining a zip up top. Its been shot in black and white on a medium format negative. its been going very well i must say and i just need to tweak a little more. Its got an interesting vibe, mixture of David Lynch, Irving Penn and Helmut Newton. When its done ill put on up here.

Ok so ive been doing a lot of work in the studio, trying to spend as much time in there as humanly possible to practice and shit and heres the thing. I need models. All sorts of models, short ones, tall ones, male ones, female ones, etc. The only catch....you have to be human and available on Monday nights and in the Cape Town region. No experience required. Hell i mean even if you are a photographer and want to see how a studio works then come and sit as a model and pick up all the information you can gather during the shoot.

If you are interested then leave a comment right here and ill get back to you in the form of a note or whatever.

Ive been a busy busy little beaver this last month or so, been all over the show doing countless things (not really sleeping or relaxing though. I almost got hit by a train while taking photographs a week ago. I was the Photo Editor for the World Economic Forum, so people out there that read the papers and saw images in the papers from The World Economic Forum on Africa, yeah i chose those Worked with a photographer named Eric Miller with that, hes a really awesome guy and I learnt a shit load from him and from that experience.

Got an exam tomorrow morning and have a Mid year crit on Friday so im working my cute little arse off on getting that shit ready. Im quite chuffed with a lot of the work i have done recently, really slotting into my nieche.

Yeaaaaaahhhh,

so what has it been, a month or so since i updated? well im sure everyone checked this page every waking second for my next update so Harah Haroo, here it is...

Ive been working my arse off (did i even have to mention that ) with many little and big projects. The biggest one at the moment is a series of images for Arrive Alive, so ive had to deal a great amount with the SAPS (tahsnk to everyone there not that youre actually reading this, and thanks to Tim for the pointers and the help) but yeah, thats finally comming to a neck, i wont say head because its not there just yet, but the reason it had only come to a neck is because i cant find any cars in the yards at this present point in time so i have to do some more searching. I shot a little this morning on Hasselblad at a scrapyard in cape town, just getting some coverage and actually getting to work on it a little bit and im quite chuffed. Ill probably Develope the negs on tuesday and start in the darkroom on wednesday, but from the digital images and polaroids they are looking relatively spiffy.

now on the note of the digital, my trusted Fuji S7000 died, yes thats right, died, dead, deseaced, shuffled off this mortal coil. This is one of the reasons i dont have any images from the cape Town Dev meet, but yeah. I had to fork out a bucketload of money for a new one because i had another job to do. Got the Nikon D70s, and she works, she works well and she seems to like me. The job i speak of was photographing Babalwe Ndleleni, the south african weightlifter who won the bronze at the common wealth games this year. That was quite the experience and very fun actually (Thanks to everyone at Zolani Center and especially Kirsty for allowing me that opportunity) anyway, ill let you know when the magazine it was for hits the shelves.

Yeah so i told you people that i would be on more often, well it seems that that is not the case....

Varsity has been hectic, work has been hectic. Ive been running around like a mad three toed marsh vole (quite a common animal i say i say)

but anyway,

ive been doing a lot of work, lots of shooting, studio portraits, churches, bands (one of which decided to cancel at the last minute throwing out a week of planning and several reservations of locations) and a few post cards.

Where are those images some might ask me, to which i shall answer, sitting on my desk all pretty and sexy like.

You see my scanner is on the fritz and i dont want to waste money scanning them in just yet, ill rather wait until the scanner is fixed and do a mass-dump onto my page, until then if there is anyone out there that really wants to see them (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA) you are more than welcome to come to my humble abode and view them with a cup of tea and a biscuit or two.

in other news, i have been doing a lot of shooting on film (both 120mm and 35mm) and i have come to the conclusion that all that digital is good for is for snapshots and low end products. Wow this may be a bold statement, but yeah, i dont like digital and the more exposure that i have to digital the more i pine for my Hasselblad. Maybe hasselblad digital is better i dont know, or maybe im just using shitty digital cameras, feel free to tell me if i am, ive been using a Niukon D70, but anyway, id rather stick to film and if i want the images on PC ill scan the negs.

At New Years, male readers, look how many of your guy friends tell you how they appreciate your friendships, some even going as far to say that they love you. This intimacy is ok at this point because it is shrouded by the New Years veil.

And what makes a New Years resolution any more special that any normal resolution one makes during the year? In fact i feel that a resolution made during the course of the year is by far more special. It has shown a thought-process, self-analysis, and the WILL to make a change. Face it, making a resolution at new years is normally shallow and Kitch.

So basically, forget about new years, i want to hear from those people reading who have had the balls to make a resolution(and follow through) and i want to hear from those of you who know yourself well enough and have the stones to tell people how you feel on any other day of the year.

I contact one of the leading photographic shops in Cape Town to find out some film prices whilst updating my pricelist, unfortunately i had a previous engagement so i could not speak to them at the shop but i sent a detailed list after speaking to someone at the shop about the prices and this is what happens....

When asking the price of a relatively common film, Agfa APX Black and White, we were met by the responce: "No, we cant give you that price, Agfa international has gone out of business." which was disputed by this party, but to no avail.

Later on, i googled for agfa to see if they have in fact gone out of business but to my horror all that is new in the world of Agfa is yesterday...wait for it....wait for it......they released a new type of film. Yes thats right, they are still alive and fucking kicking, but these silly cunts at this shop claim that they have gone out of business, and why may you ask? becuase they didnt have any film in stock, so automatically the company that produces said film is out of business. This is not the first time this has happened to me. a Few months ago they told me Ilford went out of business, as well as Kodak, fuji and Canon, all because they didnt have the product i was looking for in stock. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT?!?!?!?!

anyway this was a pointless rant, but hey it was needed. Lots of fun

Morning to all of my lovelies

Today marks the end of first year photography at varsity, im off until Feburary 15th 2006, but during this time i need to find a wedding or some kind of social event with a rites of passage attached to it to photograph so if any of you out there are getting married, or circumsized, then let me know and hire me to be your photographer hehehe

In other news it was my Final Exhibition today and prize giving. The exhibition went very well, and i got my marks back for the year which im quite happy with, managed to get 85% over all for the year, which branded me top student for the year.

I got an award for top student, which included a book, some filters and, most importantly, R3000 off any short course at varsity. w00t! so this means that during the course of next year, ill do some night schooling in Motion Picture Camerawork and Lighting which should be a total blast. hehehe

But anyway the holidays are here and i need to find work lol, god damn the work.

This long year is finally drawing to a close. All that is left at varsity is a final crit on Tuesday and an Exhibition on Friday i think.

This week has been hectic, strewn with exams, preparation for the final crit and Body Spectra (Body painting competition) oh and lets not forget....no fucking sleep.

So ive finally mounted all 30 images (I HATE WINDOW MOUNTING) and did simple portfolio mounts for the 96 others (did i mention i hate mounting) so my crit work is over and done, lets just hope the work doesnt fucking fall off the walls lol.

The exam on tuesday went seemingly well so im quite chuffed with that.

Firday marked the day of Body Spectra. The models were being painted from 6 in the morning and i was there at 11 til 11 photographing it backstage. Around 500 images were taken, and around 300 of those were just retouched in photoshop, so finally i can die now. My legs fucking ache from all that work lol, and lets not forget the security guards who drove me around the bloody bend.

But anyway

YEah ok, now i can talk a little better....

Final Crit is on the 22nd of november, followed by an Exhibition open to the public on the 24th of November. Basically i have around two weeks, or just under, to enlarge around 30 Black and white prints to 6X8. Im cool with that, but just means a lot of work, especially when it comes to the manipulations, but yeah thats all good.

Got some of my studio shots blown up to 6X8 today and they look pretty fucking awesome if i say so myself, ill definitly scan them in and put them up.

But anyway i need to go take down all the dry prints occupying my shower

So yeah, ive been doing the rounds on DA, stumbling across some good art and some utterly shite art.

Last night someone drew to my attention a little piece of Art found in one of the galleries, and frankly, it shouldnt be there, it belongs in scraps, if that.

No composition, bad lighting, out of focus, and just really shitty.

After discussing this with a few people i have come to the conclusion that DA needs something new...

How can the site operate with all this shit being dumped on it, its bandwidth wasted, and truly unfair to people who do decent art and also to those who pay for their subscription...

So heres my idea, bear with me guys, hear me out and then tell me what you think....

We have Daily Deviations right? NEW CONCEPT

DAILY ABOMINATIONS!

A place were on a daily basis the worst art from the site is showcased, up there to make other people feel better about themselves and make the artists think twice before they put some sub-par "artwork" up.

I know everyone is thinking "Oh how harsh and embarrasing for those people" but quite frankly if people dont get blunt crit, if they keep getting "ooh this is nice" they are not going to excel in their fields and they will be stuck in a sub-par rut until someone does kick their arse a bit.


Anyway thats just my opinion, what do u guys think?

Such a fucking typical day

Stupid people piss me off, and idiot tax is KING! mwahahahahahahaha

I hate people who just fly by, offer nothing of importance, speak out of their arse because their head is too fucking inflated to allow for normal jaw movement and then flutter off....

Those latest deviations were put up at varsity, and the general consensus is that they work very well but dont show diversity and advertise the college that i attend...

This week has gone off with a bang...

The weekend was a bit shitty due to stupid setbacks caused by stupid people, but it was all rectified today.

Just developed my first set of negatives from a new series and their up in my shower drying off. I have to say they look pretty damn good, perfectly developed, just beautiful. And with that this was the christening of my darkroom's film side, which wentperfectly as ive just said. Ill prolly be up till all hours of the morning waiting for the negs to dry then contact printing them. looking forward to seeing the positives.

In other news im doing a studio session with a good friend simon, so this should be quite interesting, im expressing his creative side along with his quirky personality. cant bloody wait.

So someone just asked me if i thought metal was bad for kids and this inspired me somewhat

Lets look at this from a number of angles...

say a kid is inspired by a metal band to kill themself, or kill someone around them

Firstly, if anyone is stupid enough to take that seriously, to be worked up enough by something like that to go out and kill themselves then its a good thing. They are being removed from society, for all we know they could be the next person who is in charge of the big red button, we dont want that now do we?

and this is slightly more controversial, but if they killed someone else, chances are that person that they killed would also be a bane to society and that wouldnt be too much of a loss, sure its tragic for the families and stuff, but look on the bigger picture, this is possible natures way of sorting out our population.

This is similar to what the late great Bill Hicks stated about the kids who killed themselves while listening to Judas Priest. "Two kids, listening to Judas Priest kill themselves...wow, two less gas station attendants" and going on further when Judas Priest were accused of having subliminal messaging in their songs telling people to kill themselves: "Why would any band want their fan baser, their source of income dead?" enough said

Another angle i want to look at is metal's influence vs. Rap's influence.

Lets take system of a down vs. Kellis

Firstly most of the metal that is around today is anti-establishment and sometimes deals with personal problems and gives hope to people in a way (right now im thinking of Korn - Clown, most of us have probably felt that way before and this sort of song brings us comfort knowing that we are not alone). This is good in the eyes of the normal person, by normal i mean the person who isnt in a governmental or any large capitalist environment. Its good to bring the motion that there are people out there who just want money and power, and people like that should not be in control because it leads to corruption. As you can well guess, this will go against the thoughts of one in one of those companies and henceforth be bad...

And then on the other end, we have music like rap which sings about their bitches and hos, and popping a cap in a foo's ass crack, etc etc ad nauseum. The song id like to bring to attention here is Kellis - Milkshake, in which this lovely specimen of depravity is singing about how good her handjobs/blowjobs (milkshakes) are, and how all the people come from afar to experience them first hand.

I have witness some 11 year old girls walking down the road singing this song. Now do these children even know what they are singing? I'm fine for a person of a reasonable age singing it, cause chances are they will know what the fuck it means, but still this isnt that great. Is it better because she isnt singing "My mouth technique brings all the boys to the yard"?

But basically what would you rather hear; a kid singing "We will figfht the system" or "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard"?

So yeah

As my brief adjourn from varsity draws to a close I'm begining to look back at what i accomplished these past two weeks. Not fucking much at all! bah.

I finally finnished the conceptual project and actually scrapped my nappy idea, sorry for those of you who were dying to see Skizzo skantaly clad but im sure if u ask him nicely enough he'll do it anyway hehe. This was a mission. Cross-processing the slides made the images murky and yellow, really really CRAP, so the second batch i just processed as per usual and got a much more desireable effect.

I might post some of the pictures from this project, im not too sure, maybe, who knows, we shall see...

In other news, i painted the floor of a good friend's house, AGAIN, this time the Tetragrammaton was much bigger and looks very intimidating as you set foot in the house. Look quite beautiful actually, but thats besides the point, or is it? who knows once again.

Went to the holistic hippy fest today, managed to find a very interesting books, the one im reading at the moment and also finally got myself another Amber pendant. Cost me enough but i Love it, was drawn to it the second i saw it which is always a good thing.

But anyway enough banter about me, I should really get working on my presentation for the crit tomorrow.

My darkroom has reached completion. It is fully stocked with chemicals and fully operational on the paper side of things. Made my first print in it yesterday, which came out quite nicely in fact. Using a new developer at the moment; Agfa Neutrol Liquid NE. Give some nice tones and a very punchy look to it. so im happy.

Spent the latter half of this afternoon finally trying out my new old Yashica-Mat TLR. Went up the mountain and took a couple of shots. gonna go process them tomorrow, hopefully theyve come out ok. Who knows, considering i used film that expired almost a year ago.

So the Saga continues on the front of back-stabbing people. I keep bumping into them, and yet they have no courage, they dont have the spine to face up to me, they speak to those around me, my close friends, my girlfriend, but yet they lack the spine/integrity/courage/kohones to actually even look me in the eye.

Possibly the root of all the troubles, the root of the backstabbing was due to lack of courage, maybe lying their way through life is cowardice so one shouldnt be amazed when one encounters a social jelly-fish. But hey, frankly at the moment i find it very amuzing. It a good laugh seeing them divert eye contact as if they have just glared directly into the sun, or to scuttle away like a cockroach from a blood hungry boot.

All in all i actually hope that one day this sort of person could evolve and grow a spine, and maybe, if we are all lucky, a brain as well.

So im on VAC until the 3rd of october. This term flew by once again, hey and i got my marks, 80% overall, so im chuffed but still i want to do better.

This VACs holiday project is a conceptual one. We had to choose a word from a dictionary, without looking, and express the conceptual meaning of that word as well as its opposites in photographs. My word is "Man-at-arms". Meaning a soldier, normally a heavily-armed soldier, and of course the opposite is Pacifist.

Ive had a couple of ideas for both, more so for man-at-arms, but my key image is missing something, a model... I need a male model, quite skinny, and manly yet child-like body to pose as a soldier and unfortuately for him and for me, he has to were a nappy/diaper. Not many men are keen on wearing diapers for some reason, this escapes me. So if any of you know any young males in south africa who wouldnt mind being photographed in a diaper, let me know.

Dont you hate people who act oh so alternative and oh so risque, but when you meantion something that seems a tad off-beat, which to most people who these people pretend to be will be fine with, they think youre a fucking nutcase? "Omg man thats so fucking sick" seriously WTF is your problem, if u cant fucking handle it then dont pick up the facade and i wont tell you my genius schemes .

got more stored up which should also be comming soon but right now im busy writing a paper on W Eugene Smith, studying for Art History and Studio while completel projects for Studio, photojournalism, intimate portraiture (which im quite proud of) and some creative darkroom images (Photograms and Sabatier Effect) so im quite snowed under, but more stuff is on its way.

Ok here goes

So i was couped up in the darkroom all day today, getting really annoyed cos something was funky with the stop bath, but anyway. I walk past the Head of Department of Photography who calls me into her office to discuss my term's marks...

She proceeded to inform me that i came second in the class, 81%, top person (who happens to be a very good friend of mine) got 82% and im stoked for him.

But the most pleasing news i heard was about the Mid Year crit i told most of you about. The external examiner, someone from UCT and the photography industry, gave me an 84% for my photographs, basically the others in the class only had 70's, i was 8 points above all. Fuck i almost fell over when i heard that. bue anyway i just wanted to brag

My mid-year critique went very well, i need to blow a couple of my shots up to 8 X 10s because they want to use them for advertising for the college which im not complaining about. Latest project for varsity is a photojournalistic one so tomorrow im off to go and have a look at something that caught my attention, ill tell you all more about it if i finally do use it.

Went away for the weekend with a few friends. Twas fucking awesome, i consumed so much booze it was unbeleivable. 5 litres of wine. W00t!!1 anyway enough of my ranting

Morning All

Just to let you know that im probably going to scan in a few enlargements from the contactsheets in my scraps. Got to make a few minor changes to some of them and print a few more then ill scan them in. This will probably be some time tomorrow.

Otherwise ive had a wonderfully lazy day today. Just arbing around doing this and that. With Teeth finally arrived in the mail and has been on repeat ever since, quite a sad album in my opinion, especially "Right Where It Belongs". Its very moving.

Otherwise those pictures should be up tomorrow.

This week has been good, so very very good.

Been in the darkroom for the most part of it. I made some enlargements from my contact sheets that i have shown some of you and they came out pretty fucking nicely. Beengetting a lot of praise from my lecturers. They have been telling me they havent seen work of this level comminf from a first year student, the only work that comes close to mine is that of a fourth year student. Hey even if this isnt true and just flattery im pretty fucking chuffed

Bought myself a 28mm lens for my pentax yesterday, got 50% off which will make anyone smile, and im planning latest project as i type this. Not that their is much to plan seeing as though it is all based on street photography. But i know some hotspots that will make for some interesting photographs and im quite keen to see how these come out. Im way ahead os schedule at varsity, but even with that said im probably going into the darkroom this sunday to touch up a few prints.

Otherwise as you can see, i bit the bullet and got myself a susbscription. I dont know if it enhances DA much more, but at least its showing more commitment on my behalf, gives me more reason to update hehehe. Im working on the scanner so i can submit some of my 35mm shots. There are some prints i would love to share with all of you.

Im back yet again, submitting some more stuff, a new wave of inspiration has swept into me.

Varsity is going very well! Im in the Top 3 in the class. averaging 94% at this point. Finally heading into the darkroom within the next two weeks fresh after a black and white "Visuality" project.

Im hoping to get a negative scanner soon so I can show all of you some of my work that has been done for varsity.

The farrars finally came and it was fucking amazing, ill tell you all more about that later.

On a shit side of things ... On tuesday and wendnesday i was in the townships, in a place called Nyanga, to witness a Sangoma ritual. Basically Traditional South African Ancestor Worship. I had a project for photoschool to do too, called the Spirit of Movement. Now the Sangomas dance a lot in the rituals so i put two and two together and decided to do it on them.

Little did i know i would have to sit, watch, photograph and listen to a beautiful white goat being slaughtered. Every last choke with blood spraying everywhere, not pretty.

And then to add insult to injury, the spool supplied for thge project was defective and fucking snapped in the middle of the thing which i only found out today when i was rewinding it and taking it in for processing.

anyway, im recovering, i havent had any meat since and i cant get the goat's scream out of my head.

But on the funy side of it all, you should have seen the guy at the photoshop's face when i told him that i needed a picture of a dead goat printed. O_O

anyway, im back now, ill be submitting very soon. Im not submitting any pictures of the goat if thats whats buzzing through your mind, but if someone really wants to see them i will send then in private.

At least it went off well. The grand opening was a smash despite one of the pieces of scafolding falling 30 mins into it. bah. but yeah. This has been a crazy week. This is the first time ive actually had time to myself. Then i should have some more time on the 27th LOL.

During the setup i got some time to meet some international photogs and got some interesting insight. Was quite an experience to say the least. But im glad to be away from the castle's "Puke and Lettuce" paint scheme.

Took some night shots the other night. some looked quite cool, some not so cool. Ill see if im going to submit any of them. Ive got a new project going at the moment, still a long way to finnish but that shall all be revealed later.

In other news i finally got my tripod fixed and got some more memory for my camera. Now i can take 657 pictures per session. w00t. Today was spent in the studio with Janet. Got about 80 pictures, im flipping through them with her, deciding what goes up, and what doesnt. That should be done by some time tomorrow. This shoot went really fucking well and im very very pleased with the outcomes. Some very classy black and white shots. You shall all see them soon.

In other news tonight was my first sword fighting lesson which was very tiring and intense, But mostly enjoyable. my hands are killing me, so are my ribs. Being hit with a sledge hammer handle isnt too fun, but it makes one feel good. Mwah ha ha ha

In other news, i got my acceptance letter for Photography school today. Im very excited about it and all of that. With that i had to go out and get a 35mm Film camera. I managed to get a second hand Pentax K 1000. Got a few filters for it, external flash that will also be used on my S7000 and a flash bracket. Im going to go invest in some film soon and try my luck with that. All in all today has been rather good.

and noticve i didnt say flipside once. The bug must be gone! w00t! oh dear god i said w00t again.

It looks like im off to Study photography next year. well thats my first choice. If not photpogrpahy then im studying Film Making. So thing are panning out, and in the process of all this, ive learnt something way more important (such a hallmark momeny ey? LOL).

Mood: Shocked, Confused, and Overall just plain sick.

Ive taken some alone time to get the stress down. Its working well. Im looking forward to a few things that are happening this weekend, some more so that others, but it should be fine.

I came on this morning to see that fucking comment *points down* by starlightandcandles.
This has thrown me off completely. I just want to mention a few things; I never knew Richard that well, i only knew and liked his poetry and musings. He was a very talented man in my opinion. I do not know what drove him to do what he did, but it must have extremely terrible for him to do what he did. His thought-provoking poetry will hopefully be here forever, and that side of him can live on to the furthest extent.
Richard, to which ever God you worshiped, i hope you return to his/her side and flourish in the next life. I look forward to meeting you again. Go well and rest happily by the side of your love, you are together again.

It was really beautiful and dark, only lit by the light of the moon who was full the night before. She had a lovely Yellow glow.

Finally light came when they lit a giant bonfire whilst playing Personal Jesus.

Simon’s Town is the perfect place to take pictures, just so much that can be captured. I almost thing of it as a coastal New Orleans lol

As you shall soon see, I was very snap happy. I’ve got about 10 Photos added to my gallery, and about 7 or 8 of the scratch patch in my Scraps. Please take the time to have a look through the ones in the gallery, for some reason I feel very proud of them and would like to hear some criticism, positive or negative.

Ooooooohhhhhhh, and I managed to get an amber pendant and Malachite ring *melts*
