I just got the book Michael Crichton was writing when he died from my local independent bookstore...so far, the story seems pretty good, and I'm glad to have one last taste of his writing!

In other news, I got Google wave a few days ago. It's every bit as awesome as the website [link] purports it to be! Unfortunately for most of you, it's invitation-only for now. Sorry!

I won NaNoWriMo yesterday! I'm not done with my novel, but I'm trying to finish it up as soon as possible. If everyone really wants to see it I could post an excerpt, but I haven't edited it yet. In fact, I haven't even read the whole thing through yet!

Also, it seems skins are available for a little while longer. This one seems nice, so I'll stick with it.

I have quite a mix of drawings to post, from two drawings of Deinonychus to the eight-spiked (and nonexistent) Stegosaurus ungulatus.

While I was in Connecticut I visited the Peabody Museum, and saw the skeleton of Stegosaurus ungulatus. The eight spikes don't look as weird as you would think...but they did make two identical rows of plates, which scientists now know to be incorrect. However, the museum decided to leave both of these errors uncorrected, and this Paleontological curiosity remains for all to see.

The museum also had three Deinonychus, which was pretty cool. I got some pictures of them, but the lighting isn't very good and they're hard to see. Oh well...

At the behest of a close friend, I'm switching to writing journal entries for every 50 pageviews I get!

Just kidding. I'm probably going to do them every 2000 pageviews or so. If that gets really annoying, them I'll do less...

Thanks for your input! (And pageviews, but that's another matter).

It seems that lately I haven't been getting enough comments (as was alluded to in the title) on my artwork. Comments are, in my opinion, the best way to improve artwork. Without the very helpful (if a bit scathing, at times) comments of all of you, my art would not have improved as much as it has.

Comment away!
