Went to Comic-Con for the first time ever, and saw Video Games Live! (again, thanks SO much for the free tickets Lizzi!) I got to see and meet so many incredible people! From Disney animators (Glen Keaaaane), to voice actors(Jess Harnelllll, Tara Stroonnng...), to the creators of some of my favorite Cartoon Network shows(Craig McCrackennn, Thurop Van Ormaannn)! The main highlight of my time there, was getting to meet Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust!!! Bwaaah so much excitement. Seriously, they're both such nice people. And they were doing sketches for their fans! I got Wilt (Foster's) from Craig, and Sawyer (Cats Don't Dance)from Lauren. Honestly, I REALLY didn't expect to have Lauren draw Sawyer for me, I was originally going to ask her to draw one of her Galaxy Girls (Mooooon!!!), but I asked her about Cats Don't Dance, and she asked if I would like a drawing of Sawyer! So...YAY!
The day after Comic-Con ended, I went straight to Disneyland! And no, I NEVER get tired of going. 2 days after that, I went to another Disney Park...but it wasn't Disneyland...yessss, I took my first trip EVER, to WALT DISNEY WORLD!! So much awesome!!! After YEARS of wanting to go, I FINALLY got to!! I loved it SO much!! I know I might get asked this, so i'll answer it now...Disneyland is still my favorite Disney park. LOVED Disney World, but Disneyland will always be my home.

...yah.
Just got back a few days ago, and since then, i've been SO inspired to draw!! Which is why I made this journal...not to brag about how amazing my life is or anything.... hehe...
But yes, I have TONS of new drawings just waiting to be uploaded! Gotta color some of them first though...

Don't worry folks, I haven't left DA, i'm still here...I just don't...upload much stuff anymore. I am planning to change that however. I'm gonna try and get over my lazyness and get some cool drawings up next week...hopefully anyway, haha!

As some of you may know, I stopped writing my Disneyland trip reports, I just can't keep up with them anymore. However, I will still upload photos and such. And I do plan on writing a trip report for my birthday trip this month.

In other news, I just got done watching the movie 'Tinkerbell' on youtube. Now, i'm not much of a fairies fan, and Tinkerbell was never one of my favorite characters to begin with, but I definitely enjoyed this movie. I'll have to check out the books sometime too, I heard the artwork is amazing.

This was already posted in my trip report, and on one of my previous journals, but here it is again.

In other news, I shall be starting my 3 day adventure at Disneyland tomorrow.

Friday: I should be at Disneyland Park for about an hour or so, maybe less depending on the time we get there, which will probably be between 4:30 and 5. And then of course we have to check into our hotel rooms...so I might not even go to Disneyland Park at all. XD But I WILL be a DCA for the Trick or Treat Event. Yesss, i'll be bouncing and grumbling around the park in my prettyful Merlin costume. =3 And i'll meet up with and :iconskelingtonstockings: there.

Saturday: I dunno if i'm meeting anyone this day or not. I'll probably just be there from opening till closing by myself. I plan on sketching most of the day, riding a few rides here and there, find some characters, maybe take some pictures (as if I don't have enough already, lol) and just take it easy. ^^

Sunday: Just like any other Sunday, only i'll be there at 8:00AM. >:3

Aaaand that is my weekend! I can't wait!

So I got everything all set up, put the game in, and turned it on...but...it didn't come on. Maybe the plugs are loose....nope. Maybe the game needed cleaning...a little, but that wasn't it either. I later found out that I was actually MISSING a certain cord. (I have no idea what they're called...the yellow and red ones, lol) So now I was pretty bummed out, and this probably meant that I either go on ebay and find it, or i'd have to send the entire system back. I didn't want to do that, I JUST GOT IT!! But then I remembered...I had this one cord (red and yellow...geez, I KNOW it has a name, lol) and I NEVER knew what it was for. I must've had it for over a decade. So I decided that was my only hope, so I plugged it in, turned it on, and got a blank screen. NOW WE'RE GETTING SOMEWHERE! So I made sure everything was plugged in nice and tight, and the game screen popped up...kinda...then it got all messed up and went back to a white screen. So I cleaned the game again and put it back in, and the game screen showed up just fine! YESSS!! But now another problem...my controller wasn't working...luckily it came with two, so I went and grabbed the other one, aaaannnd.....IT WORKED! So now...after all those years...I finally have an NES...
Now all I need to do is get more games, all I have is Super Mario Bros./ Duck Hunt. And I can't even play Duck Hunt since I don't have the gun. But eh, I can play that online anyday.

My friend Rachel didn't go either since I couldn't, so I wanna see if she can go tomorrow for the whole day. *crosses fingers that she can*

EDIT: EDIT: kay, turns out Rachel did go yesterday (she didn't want to since I was sick, but she was kinda forced to). She told me she didn't get there till the Musical Chairs finale, so i'm guessing she was there for a nice amount of time (lucky girl, lol). We're still going tomorrow though. X3

(well, except for Goofy's Kitchen) So that's really exciting there. And yes, we're going to Goofy's Kitchen to celebrate my birthday Saturday evening. Since we're blocked out that day, I don't know if i'll be in the park or not. :/ We'd have to pay $40 to get in so...I dunno, it's a suprise I guess. But hey, I WILL be in the parks on Sunday. And we MIGHT go to Goofy's Kitchen Sunday morning too, but I don't know yet. And if not, then i'll probably either go to the Plaza Inn, or go to the Riverbelle Terrace for that Mickey Mouse Pancake. seriously, I haven't gotten that crazy over a food since the Monte Cristo. :3333
-ahem- oh, and what my mom talked about with Robert was if there would be a way to have the Mad Hatter show up for a character breakfast, but you can't request a character. (heh, i could have told her that ) But that doesn't mean that he won't show up, he might. Sooooo, that's what's happening this weekend. =]

And right now i'm typing up my latest trip report (from Easter), still gotta upload pictures/ videos, and get to bed at least by 1:30AM so I can get up for Disney again tomorrow. Plus I have messages and what not to check on myspace, youtube, and here. Then I gotta look at the MiceChat.com and VisionsFantastic.com forums.
Once i'm done with all of that, I have an essay I have to write for my Digital Art class. x___X
So i'm pretty busy until next Monday.
