Probably nothing fatal, but it's broken enough to make it impossible for me to get to the files inside. Photos, texts, journals, notes, schoolwork and some other stuff. The ironic thing was that I was planning to do a backup of the most important stuff just a day or two before the breakdown... well well.
As it is now the only thing to do is to send it to the professionals, which is EXPENSIVE, but necessary I'm afraid. Will take some time to save up for that though. In the meantime my brother has lent me an old harddrive of his, so right now I'm working on reinstalling all the software...

-------------------------------------

So far attempts at ressurection has failed. Will seek the support of a hard drive necromancer shortly. Untill then, enjoy some of the buttons in my button collection...

             <img src="http://fc04.deviantart....

The first contest of the newly started japanese poetry club has come to an end.
I offered, along with many others, to feature the winners in my journal so this is what I will use the journal space for today. I'll let it be up for at least a week before changing it, but if you're a regular here you know it may very well be longer than so.
The basic idea in the competition was for the contestants to write a haiku alluding to the sea without actually using the word. Quite a few people decided to join. Enough to cause the three judges some problem when choosing I'm sure.

In the end, three haiku remained.

In 1st place: *saiun with the almost epic Under an Ancient Moon, featuring these lovable critters. True living fossils, with blue blood!

gathering
under an ancient moon
horseshoe crabs

I would advice you to take a closer look in this deviants ample and well organised gallery. I did and found this gem under "walkers":

Ambling
From shadow to shadow –
A raccoon!

Who knows what you may find?

In 2nd place: *RedDragonfly with the little haiku with the great content, and the bewildering name (except for all you haiku chain-gangers out there). Two rows bursting with the power of the sea, and the great creatures that live in it. Set 1: Chain 4b: Link6- Sea

sitting in the little cove
orcas pass by

When looking in her gallery for something else to feature I stumbled upon this thought provoking and fun senryu:

nude beach-
I hide behind
my sunglasses

Senryu is not the only thing to be found there though. I'll let her title of Mad Sock Scientist be the hint.

In 3rd place: The aptly named *HaikuKitty with the equally aptly named Contest Entry the-haiku-club where the mighty, but threatened, albatross is suspended between the ocean and the sky.

above and below
unbroken blue
an albatross

In her gallery i found a folder labled "haiga" and I knew there must be something good in it. I was right.

Feast your eyes on the nostalgic and poingnant merging of picture and poem that is Gold Moulded Records. And that's just one of them.

Now I hope you really will take your time and take a look in these talented deviants galleries. There are some really nice things in her gallery, and I'm not just saying that because she's my wife.
Still a bit hard to actually understand that it's happened, but I'm sure we'll get used to it eventually. I actually find wife much more natural to say than fiancée, and she's been calling me hubby for the past six months anyhow so.

, , and also joined the celebration. Patrik gave us a really cool portrait that I hope to see here some time later (you'll be allowed to do the improvements before If you wish, but you know we love it already )

In other news I've just started reading ~SOLARTS essay on writing haiku and it's a really interesting read. Check it out here [link] .

This is all I have time for now, need to catch a bus in ten!

Edit: I'm also joining the one month haikuthon hosted by =Iscariot-Priest. Just note him if you wish to join, you don't have to know what a haiku is to join even. You'll learn as we go along.

Edit 2: Link to the awesome portrait [link]

November is here and with it a very busy time for me. You see, I've signed up for this "competition" called National Nover Writing Month which means that I'll have to crank out a 50000 word novel before the end of the month. I've no idea if that's going to happen, but I sure as heck am going to try. It'll be fun.

Now this might, or might not have a negative effect on my other writings. We'll just have to see about that. I will at least try and finish the ones I've started. But I probably wont start any new ones.

---------------------
This weeks quiz was stolen from :iconkingbehemoth; and translated by me!

1. Which swearword do you use the most?
“Skit”, which is the Swedish equivalent of crap, both in meaning and degree of “swearedness” (at least I think so), though the direct translation actually would be shit.
2. Do you own an iPod?
Yes. A black 3rd generation Nano. Matches my Macbook.
3. What time is your alarm set at?
8.00 or 7.30 if I shower in the morning.
4. How many suitcases do you have?
Only one, but it's BIG.
5. Do you use flip-flops?
No. Flip-flops kill my feet.
6. Where do you buy your food?
At ICA. The closest store.
7. Would you rather take the picture than be on it?
Since I don't take good pictures anyway I'd prefer to be on it. For once.
8. Which was the last movie you watched?
Hot Fuzz, and it was gooooood!
9. You have the day of. Would you rather spend it with a family with children or a female friend?
With a friend. Preferably < href=”<a href="http://lawofreflection.deviantart.com/”>my">[link] girlfriend.
10.If you won the lottery, what would you buy first of all?
A trip somewhere for me and above mentioned girlfriend.
11. Have somebody ever called you lazy?
I do believe so. Yet I cannot recall any particular moment. Perhaps I was talking to myself...
12. Do you ever take any medication to fall asleep faster?
nopety
13. What CD is in your CD-player right now?
None. Mp3 is teh shit.
14. Who is the worlds best music artist right now?
Hard... but I listened to Billy the Vision and the Dancers yesterday and it made me nostalgic. Plus they're good, albeit a bit weird.
15. Has somebody told you a secret this week, and if so what was it?
Dooooon't think so. If so I've forgotten it.
16. When was the last time someone hit on you?
Man, I never know when somebody do that, but this girl that I've never seen before smiled at me in the library. Does that count?
17. What did you have for dinner last time you had it?
Cabannos and corn on the cob.
18. Do you wear hoodies?
Yes. But I only have one.
19. Can you whistle?
Sure!
20. Who was the last person to give you a call?
Anders. The janitor at the school I went to last year. He wants me to get my things out of the storage room in the dorm cellar.
21. What is your favourite ride at an amusement park?
Bumper cars!
22. Do you think that people are talking about you behind your back?
Only when I'm in a bad mood.
23. What region code do you belong to?
No idea.
24. Did you watch cartoons when you were a kid?
Oh yeah, and still do.
25.How big is your closest shopping centre?
Freaking huge. But it takes like 20 min to bike there.
26. How many siblings do you have?
Two brothers, and three sisters. All older than me.
27. Do you feel shy together with members of the opposite sex?
Not that much. It depends more on how they act in general I'd say.
28. Do you read only because it's fun?
Is there any other reason to?
33. Do you speak any other languages?
Besides Swedish, English mostly. Though I hope to change that eventually.
34. Do you make your own dishes?
Well, there's no one else to do them for me is there?
35. Have you cried in public?
Probably as a kid.
36. Stationary or laptop?
La...

I'm sure you're frostbitten enough to understand how awful I've felt. I'm returning the pictures from LA to you, but I'll keep the results of your blood sample as a memory. You should also know that I am better off without eggplant-fetishism.

Go and drown yourself,
Josef

------------------------------------------------------

Hiya boys and gals! Here is another episode of the <strike>daily,</strike> <strike>weekly,</strike> <strike>monthly,</strike> randomly Djoseph journal!

First of all I hope nobody (~Zegovia most of all) did take the first part seriously. For if you did... well then you know more than I do. Template for this funny thing can be found after the journal entry. I have some small things that will be finished soon if I just get my hands on them.
Hiya there guys and female beings!

Latest news from Djoseph's new* lair in Västerås:
I've started my psychology course, and it's really interesting. Studying at university level is a bit different from all I've experienced before, but so far I like it. Being wholly responsible for my own studies makes them all the more important to me.
After roughly two weeks here in Västerås I'm starting to feel really at home here. The apartment is really nice, though a bit messy, and I'm feeling confident in finding my way around now. It's not such a big city at all really. Perfect for taking long walks in, until I find a bike that is. The buses aren't really anything to rely on here. Plus they're freaking expensive...

I found two haiku that I had not posted before and decided to do so now, which is also the reason for this journal. The other reason is that it will keep me away from the Psychology book a while, but I don't like to talk about that fact.

More updates to come I think. I always seem to get inspired when I've got lots of things to do. My muses seem to thrive on my stress...

--------------------------

101 poems project
My plan is to write one hundred and one poems based on these themes I stole from some guy here on DA (if you recognise this please tell me who you are!). The two missing themes will be added in later.
Hello.

I've been doing a lot of different things lately. Besides working my last day (which was wonderful) and trying to plan what to pack when I'm moving (which is going on slowly in a sort of working way) I've been to the Star Wars Exhibition in Örnskjöldsvik (which was quite fun, in more ways than one).

In less than two weeks I'll be going south again, to Västerås. A city just Northwest of Stockholm, the Swedish capital. There I will be taking a course in psychology and another one in the history of ideas. My precious will also be studying there. So we'll be able to see each other more often than each fifth month or so (which will be great).

Until then however, I have to make sure I have everything I need, and pack it accordingly. Which would be impossible probably without the good nagging help of my parents. At least I would not have started yet.

Writing goes as slow as ever, but at least it goes. Which it did not do before for over a month or maybe more. I found a picture here on DA that sort of kicked loose my stuck up brain. Which means I'm working on the big one again. The one that's so big I fear I'll never be even half done with it.
The smaller things like shorter poems and haiku is also starting to live up. Soon you'll see some new things I believe. Even some updates to my project below.

Now I've taken so long to write this journal that what is written above it has become passé. I'm now listening to small nightly sounds, watching the dark night, eating 70% chocolate, and drinking nothing.

Good night everybody. You've been a wonderful audience. Be sure to check by later.

--------------------------

101 poems project
My plan is to write one hundred and one poems based on these themes I stole from some guy here on DA (if you recognise this please tell me who you are!). The two missing themes will be added in later. I figure if I manage to write ninety nine poems, two more wouldn't make such a difference.

Done so far: 3
In progress: 3

1.
Two bonus points to whomever manages to figure out that quote.

Keeping with my tradition of not writing about things when they are relevant I hereby tell you that I finished bible school. A week ago.
I've been home in good old Vilhelmina since tuesday and I'm slowly getting back in pace with the place.
Leaving new friends, meeting old ones again, leaving a home I've just got to know for a place I know since childhood, and on top of that the long light summer nights that always seem to make me so sentimental. It's been a good year, and I will never forget it.

But enough about that. It would take too long to write it all anyway.

I'm involved in some sort of music project. Only time will tell if it will become anything worth mentioning. But I have my hopes up.

Nothing new up right now. But several things cooking. I got the list you can see at the bottom from a guy here on DA. It's initially intended to be a list of themes for pictures, but it works just as fine for poems I think. But as I'm sure you have noticed there is only 99 themes. What about the other two you say? Well, that's up to you guys. Hit me with themes and I'll pick two to add to the whole.

Finally I would like to take the time to promote my good friend 's pirate project. You can read more about it here. Join the crew of the Flourish and sale in style!

And while you're at it check out his gallery. It's well worth the time.

That's all for now.
Peas put!

I'll update this list with links to the finished poems. As of now only one is done.
...to mention one thing I did in Russia. I got myself contact lenses for the first time in my life. Ridiculously cheap as well. Still not quite used to them, but I'm getting there. As a well known Swedish proverb says: "If you want to look nice, you will have to suffer".

Some local customs I forgot to mention as well. In general they seem to be quite superstitious in Murmansk, and probably in Russia in general. You are not allowed to whistle indoors. It could have an unfortunate effect on the family's economics. In this context I should mention that I am a notorious whistler... I just had to clam it as long as Taya's mother was home.
One other superstition is this that you should not give anything over a threshold. It is said to cause quarrelling in the house you visit. Taya actually was told by a person we were visiting to get in and give her the package inside and would not take it before she did so.
A friend of Tayas father visited one evening (a really nice guy with black moustaches), and since his name was the same as her fathers (Anatolij) he invited me to stand between them and make a wish. But I wont tell you what I wished or if it came true.

First of all I just want to point anyone interested in Myst to look here.

I guess that "More later today..." was a bit too ambitious of me.
But here is at lasthis is the second and last part of my review of my trip to the amazing magical land of Oz... I mean Russia... that's not really magical... at least not like Oz... thank goodness...

I spent almost all the time in Russia illegally. No seriously, I was supposed to register myself when I came there and that's also what I did. One hour before closing time on the last day I could do it, two days after my arrival. Lets just say I was a bit distracted and forgot it. The thing is that two or three days before I left they called and said that we had forgotten to ad the migration paper to the registration. Without that the registration could not be completed. Not sure if I could have left the country without that either. We got them their paper in time though, but that means that I spent most of the time ther without permission. Just don't tell any KGB spy...

So for the issue with men in suits. So far as I can recall I saw... a lot of men in suits in Murmansk. Not to mention on my way there and back. Both times I sat RIGHT NEXT TO a man in a suit. Even Tayas father turned out to be one of them. Not one of them were really mysterious, sexy or devious though. So you can rest at peace.

Now for the weather which was strangely warm for February, and especially at that longitude. Her father said that all the ice in the arctic sea was melting as well. The temperature never went below -15°C (some plus-degrees some days even) but the wind anf humidity made it feel like 25°C. Nothing I'm not used to, and Taya who's used to temperatures sometimes 20° and more below that thought it was ridiculously warm. I could not complain on the amount of snow there really, only the colour of it. The thousands of cars had given most of it a sickly shade of grey. Yuck...

The architecture was... not that impressive all the time. Where Taya lived there was a huge area with grey houses that all looked the same. And the rest could be said for the rest of the houses there. Nothing really caught my eye, but I'm sure I would have seen better things if I could have had a better view from a higher place. Would have been nice to have visited one of the orthodox Basilicas. Have always loved their onion-shaped towers.

There were many different types of smells there. There was nice smells there. Like the vanilla smell of my honey, or borsch, or the "zasliks" we had at the restaurant. But there were many unpleasant ones as well. Like the smell of constantly smoking people, or the smell of dog-urine, or of the car exhausts (especially Ladas for some reason...).

Interesting local customs then... They had milk in bags (as I've heard they also do in Canada?)... and it's not possible to find good hot chocolate there. We tried to order that in the sushi restaurant and got something that closely resembled melted chocolate pudding, and on later comparison actually turned out to be exactly that.

Murmansk was also full of tiny little old ladies with huge fur coats and hats and a no nonsense attitude. You know, the type you thought only existed in movies. Don't even try to mess with them, they've got super powers and some of them carried sticks...

You got any more questions?
...part one.

Second try.
My first journal got deleted by mistake by clumsy me, and since I don't want to go through all that again this wont be quite as detailed as that version. This on I will largely base it on the questions raised by ~JPJohansson in my last journal. I'll also break it up into two, or perhaps (but probably not) three parts. Easier for me, and less for you poor guys to read.

The trip itself went absolutely fine despite all my worries. I left Sweden 13:10 and landed three and a half hour later (with two hours added due to time zone shifting). For anyone interested I flew on the same plane as former Swedish minister of foreign affairs Leif Pagrotsky. No idea what he was going to do in St. Petersburg or why he was flying economy class like me though.
Well there I got a bit lost first at the airport. but the lady in the information booth kindly enough (Though she was a bit irritated I think. Couldn't be really sure since most people there seemed irritated. I'll blame the Monday.) guided me right. Turned out I had to take a transit bus to a whole other airport that took care of domestic flights. There I waited another four and a half hour before finally leaving for Murmansk (Мурманс&#1082. But not before having a quite one-sided conversation with an old lady, not understanding that my shoes needs to be x-rayed as well, receiving patronising (sometimes even pitiful) gazes from non-englishspeaking security personnel and being pushed and showed in every way imaginable.
The trip itself took just below two hours and I have to admit that I was getting more and more excited. Soon I would actually see and hold the one I've missed for so long. The food on the plane was excellent. Even though I was travelling in economy class I got a cold meal that almost was more than I could handle. On the flight with SAS I got nothing at all... Here's to Rossiya airlines!
The first time I got really scared during this trip was when I arrived at the airport, checked out and got out into the exit hall only to find out that she wasn't there. I had some five minutes of agony trying to figure out if there could somehow have been a mistake in when I would arrive, mixed with thoughts of all the horrid things that could have hindered her coming. Then I turned around and there she was. To say that I was relieved and happy is a grave understatement.
The trip back also went fine, but in reverse order. I also felt a lot more confident then as well.
Now to the question on what I did there. Besides such romantic (I shit you not) things as playing through Myst IV together, we also had time to go out and have some "real" dates together. The restaurant and cinema type mainly. We had sushi, which was quite expensive considering what we actually got. You could get more here for half the money. Still it was nice to come out and see the surroundings. The grill/pub we went to another day was more of a success. Really tasty food, and almost more than one could eat.
One thing that actually was surprisingly cheap was transportation. For less than $8 I could ride the trolleys trafficking the whole city for ten days!
Cinema was also nice. We watched a movie simply called The best movie ever. A comedy by some famous Russian comedians. While I can't say that it was the best movie I've ever seen, it still was funny. Most things I didn't have to know the language to understand, and the rest Taya translated there or explained to me afterwards. I would recommend it to anyone who likes movies like: American Pie and Dumb and Dumber.
First person to greet me when I got home to them was her mother, which according to Taya's testamony is: "A very easygoing person". And I can only agree with her. We got along fine and she didn't mind the fact that we couldn't really talk. Her sister was quite shy and didn't say much either even though she talks both both English and Norvegian. She left the morning after and did not return before I left.
Her father came home from the ship he works on (as a diver) just some days before I left but he immediately warmed up to me, and I have to admit that I liked him from the start. The day I was leaving he got up really early in the morning and followed me to the airport just to see me off. Ta...

I'm going there to visit her and hopefully meet her family; at least her mum and sister. Her dad, who's a deep sea diver, is away from home for months at end but will hopefully be home for vacation before I go back. Scaaaaary...
Her folks doesn't speak any English at all. Never been outside of Scandinavia before, and this is such an important journey that I just can't help to get the heebie-jeebies when thinking about it. Visas, passports, evil russian borderguards that'll sell me to the Mafia after robbing me of every last valuable thing I own, you name it. I've already given up trying to remember if I've forgotten something because I'm bound to have done that anyway.
But still I'm quite sure it'll go fine. Can't believe I'll be with her in less than a day!

Be good now, and I'll see you in fourteen days.
God bless you guys, and me, and Taya, and my trip, and... the rest.

Time for me to make my annual ginger bread art piece. And maybe write some seasonal poetry perhaps.
Outside of all this peaceful joyfull christmas jolly I'm becoming more and more stressed out.

You want more detail? Oki. THe main, and only, reason for me to go there now was to meet with my dear :iconlawofreclection: (that I had not seen for more than eight months ). That she happened to work this summer in a land I've always wanted to visit was just a bonus. And the family she worked in was kind enough to let me stay at their place the whole week.
So I arrived on monday morning, and we left together on sunday afternoon, and Taya got time of from work most of the days so we could spend lots of time together. And truth be told we spent as much time out of that house as we could. She reallly needed some time away from those little "bundles of joy" she has been watching.
We didn't do many "touristy" things though, due to our limited budget (being a student can suck in more than one way )
So we spent several days just walking around Reykjavik (which looks much like the swedish city of Upsala for some reason ) and we got ourselves a traditional Icelandic sweater, knitted from whool, each. Taya's fits perfectly, but mine will need a bit stretching to make the arms longer. Pictures of these things will be posted soon I hope.
On the saturday we took the bus and went out to Blue lagoon (I'll post some personal pictures from there later, if any of them is good enough.) and that was really a nice experience. By far the most exotic one as well. The water was not deep enough to allow myself to stand, and the cold winds forced you to squat down in the, at some places, close to boiling warm water. This is a place I know I wanna visit again. Preferably in the same company.
Sunday afternoon we left Iceland behind us to travel back to our homes. After waiting two days almost at Oslo airport (in Norway if you didn't allready know), Taya because she had to to catch her flight, and me because I decided to keep her company, which was a good thing because it was little enough to do there even when you were two. Plus that we got some extra time together.

Now she is back in Murmansk, and I've installed myself in my room at the Betel school in Stockholm. My room-mate is a really nice guy, and my class is great. Fourteen people all in all, but only three guys (counting me). So we have to fight to make ourselves heard amidst all the chatter.

Well, I guess that was all. Now I think I'll go and get myself some "fika" before going to bed. Unless I find someone to talk to or something, but it feels like half the shcool has gone home over the weekend so that's not too likely.

Good night friends, and congratulations on finishing this long and tedious journal.

I'M GOING TO ICELAND!!!!!!

Just booked the tickets yesterday, and I'm leaving on the 20th of August, and I'm staying for a week, and I'm going to meet Taya there and I'm so excited I could burst!!

And after that it's right back to Stockholm to start my studies. I'm going to share a room with a guy that I've forgotten the name of now. The school called me and asked if I could possibly think of sharing one of the few double rooms, and I said: sure, why not (or actually I said: Tja, varför inte. But most of you would not understand that, would you. ). So that will be interesting as well. Have never shared a room with anyone for a longer period than some weeks. Good thing is that it's more like a small apartment, with one room housing the bathroom, and one the small kitchen with a door between the both. We'll just have to decide which one of us wants to be disturbed when and in what way.

Well, that's all I had for you this time. More poems just might be on their way, and perhaps other things as well.
Good night for now.

Not that that has kept me from working at the nursury home , I have tomorrow and friday left. Then I'll have the weekend of. In the meantime I'm doing my best to keep the bug at bay with vitamins and other stuff (see "Drinking:" below), and it seems to be working. I feel much better today than yesterday when the treatment started.
Last week I visited the pentecostal "tent-meeting-conference" of Lapplandsveckan (the Laponian week or something like that), biggest christian conferense in north of Sweden. Was helping out with the kids there. Great fun. Even though I had no internet connection there.

This is two of the reasons to why I've not been showing up so often for a while. Or, I have actually been logging in, but I have not done anything but perhaps check my watch list and stuff. Not been writing or doing other stuff that much either, not to mention commenting and answering on comments. The main reason, however, is just plain laziness and lack of motivation. I'll try to pull myself together.

But enough about me, what about you?

Just a short update on my Englishcrash... class. On monday I sent in my last assignment, a litterary analysis where I had to compare Harry Potter with Oliver Twist, and I can't say I had high hopes, but since my teacher had said that I at the lowest could get was an VG (second highest grade I could get) I was not too worried about it. But deem of my surprise (swenglish! ), when I got an email today saying I got MVG (highest possible, like A+ or A++ or whatever you have over there). Since I had not finished all the assignments she had some trouble deciding, but aparently I had done enough to fulfil the goals for the highest grade. I'm in a happy mood now, so if you have anything you want to ask of me to do you better do it quick while it lasts.

...let us rejoice in the spring of youth! (first verse of classic Swedish graduation song)

High school graduation time once again. Hard to imagine that it was just a year ago I myself wore the white hat. Feels more like ten years. My brain seem to be aging faster than the rest of the body. I bought roses for some kids in our churchs youthgroup that I wanted to congratulate, only thing was that one girl do not graduate until next year. But she seemed to apreciate the thought, even though I thought totally wrong.

Besides that I'm finally going to finish that English C course. After pushing the deadline forward two times, I got an email from my teacher where she gave me an ultimatum. When I got it I was like "Oh I'm so gonna die!" But what she actually said was that if I finished the litterary analysis and handed it in before tuesday I had the chance of gettin either an VG or an MVG. And that's the two highest grades you can get (IG and G being the lowest). And as late as last week I thought I would not get any grade at all. She is far too kind...

So this weekend will be dedicated to studying, plus that I'm working (for a real salary this time! Whoohoo!) at the nursery home. Maybe I'll manage to squeeze some rest in between if I'm lucky. But right now it feels just great to be busy. It's not more than I can handle.

Summer is here ladies and gentlemen. And that means mindboggling temperatures of 30°C/86°F during most of the day. Far too hot for a swede to do anything but melt. Me and ~Zegovia brought a friend and went to the lake to cool down. The water temperature was 15°C/59°F. It was... refreshing.
It also means midnight sun, and I love it. Right now it's half past nine and the sun isn't even close to the horizon. It's so nice outside. I wish you could see it.

Right now I'm a trainee at a nursinghome, and I'll be working there as a substitute this summer. So far it's been a really interesting and rewarding experience, and the old people are so sweet. Though it's quite sad to see people who have lived so long, and experienced so much deteriorate like that. There's nine on the ward where I work, three ladies and six men. Five of them in wheelchair and five of them walking by themselves. And all of them with brains of children, though in this case the development can only go backwards.
Two more things in the gallery. I suggest that you go and read and comment on those two. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and watch anime with mum. ^^

...and bad news.

The bad news are that I did not get into the program I wanted at the school I applied for. Biblestudies with musicprofile. Got a letter today saying stuff like "We are sorry to say that you did not make it in etc" . It never said why I did not, but I think it's because I only sing and don't play an instrument. The good news are that I applied for the creative profile (clay, drawing, sculpting etc. Basically any creative work.) and I got in there.
So If I want, I can go there and study the good book and do all these artsy stuff at the same time. But I have not decided yet, I'm waiting for an answer from another bibelschool (musicprofile here as well) and maybe I'll go there instead if it seems better. But right now the creative stuff is quite tempting.

The other good news arrived today in a parcel from the states and can be beheld for free in my gallery.

And happy easterbreak to all of you that enjoy such luxuries. Myself I'm going back to school, where I've been working these two last weeks if you have missed that. My spanish-bitch teacher (her words, not mine!) have made up enoucg work for me to take me through the break. Most of it concerns preparing for next weeks lektions, and replenishing my own spanish-skills so to speak.

This day is actually a sunday in our calendar, but I thought it better to get started as soon as possible. I've even got my own key to the school. Just think of the possibilities!

Some new artwork probably coming up, as well as new haikus and possibly even some "real" poetry as well. Keep a look out for it. I really have a lot to do now, but for some reason that only seem to spur me into wasting more time on my hobbies.

...my dear friends and anyone who reads this journal of mine. I got the idea from that got it from . Basically the idea is that anyone who reads this journal have to watch me, while I in my turn watch them. In that way we can make new friends or someting. I guess I'm joining in on this watch-orgy as an experiment to see how many people there is besides my watchers that reads my journal. If you want to join in you can do that easily. Just check the link above to read lollys rules and when you've done a journal like this you can go and post a link to it here and Lolly will add it to his list. That way you can get to meet even more people! Isn't that great? As homestar would say.

Now to my own life outside of DA. Currently sitting at a spanish lesson as a substitute for my spanish teacher. Not much to do though since there is only two students and they are working on a odcasting project, hence why I am able to write this journal. I like it here at school though. I get responsibilities and I feel like I'm actually doing something useful. The thoughts of becoming a teacher are rapidly growing more and more serious, even though I know that it is a hard and sometimes frustrating job...

Oh, and I bought new shoes today, and it was a blast (which it mostly is not) because I found a pair that fit. I own three pairs of shoes: Summer shoes (the ones I bought today), winter shoes, and a pair of shoes for more formal situations (funerals, weddings etc). Just so you don't get the wrong idea about me and shoes. Yesterday I also bought two pairs of jeans really cheap at sale. And if I don't like shopping for shoes, I totally loathe shopping for clothes. I'd be a nudist if it wasn't so darn cold up here. But this time it actually went smooth, and since I got them so cheap I can only say that it was oki.

So what more is there to say? I'm working on some new poetry (and old poetry that's not finished yet), mostly haikus but maybe something else as well. A tanka perhaps. Also some artsy stuff coming up as well. I'll actually post one thing right now after I finish this journal. Isn't that great?

Guess that's it for today. Now don't forget to join the orgy. Blessings until next time!

... I really do despair about humanity.

Watched this trailer yesterday and I dare say I've never seen so many anachronisms and clichés in so short a time. Humongous brutish vikings (complete with horned helmets, morning stars and celtic face paint ) raid poor innocent indan village, leaving a kid behind that turns into a possessed superwarrior that kills the vikings when they return for another barbaric raid. Yippee... Watch it at your own risk.

Newsflash: I'm leaving my trainee-place at the telemarketing company. Guess I'm just not cut out to be a telephone salesman. Found out that it was virtually impossible to sell anything without lying to the costumer. Instead I'll be following my old spanish and swedish teachers in their classes for some weeks, taking a look at teaching from the other side of the desk so to speak. No real chance of getting a job here (except as an substitute some time maybe), but it will be an interesting experience since I've been thinking of studying to become a teacher. I'm also filling out the aplication-forms for the bible/music-school I want to attend to. Hopefully I'll get in (the musical part requiers a test of skill).

Have not been able to sleep in order for almost two weeks. I'm not used to go to bed early to rise early ( I usually forget about that part about"going to bed early"). So I think I will go and take a nap now.
Good night everyone!

If you reply, i'll fill it out for you, but then you have to put it in your own journal

1. I'll respond with something random about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jello to wrestle with you in.
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

And then tagged me to do the ensuing quiz.

Now for the journal itself. This is the first day of the second week as a trainee at that company I mentioned in my last journal and I'm finally getting the hang of things. Today I almost sold my first subscription. They told me to call back in two weeks. I just hope the the company itself will survive that long, there are ominous rumours running, saying it might not even live that long. We'll just have to wait and see. Now onto the quizzing!

...fast!

I'm in a festive mood (tired out of my skull, but still festive) for it is my birthday. And not just any birthday, but my twentieth! Yup that's right, Djoseph is no longer a teenager. Not that anyone have guessed on anything under twenty the last two years. Taya thought I was 23 when she first met me a year ago. I must be a boring fellow, to seem so much older than I am.

But now I can't write anymore, have to hurry. I'm working as a trainee at a local telemarketing company. Had my first day yesterday, and I'm not sure whether I like the place or not. The people are nice enough I guess, but there is a lot of preasure on the salesmen which I will join if everything goes well. But I'm just doing it for the money. So I guess I should not be too picky.

Have a good day and be blessed! Might even take some time to post some new poetry tonight, but I wont promise anything.
