Well, let's just say it was boring. I hear that tomorrow they will have me doing some quizzes on the computer that may take two 8hr days to complete :\ I'm going to be having lots of fun this week.

But I'm positive, I have a job that pays well above the minimum wage, and I'll have some $ in my wallet. :)

The power steering and the breaks had both given out when the car stalled, how they had avoided going over the edge I have no idea, God's angels must have been working some over-time. (as you can see I can't take all the credit)

But after much pushing and tugging I was able to get this unreliable vehicle back on the driveway, and push it into a more level parking space. (That's the part where I'm a hero :))

To top it off this vehicle is only 2yrs old!

To add to that yesterday I finaly got that interview. :D but what was cool hapened as I was waiting.


So I was sitting in my car listening to my tunes and drawing, when out of nowhere comes the cry of a women in distress, "NOoo, STOP!" I look up from my sketchpad and there in the next row is a cart speeding toward some parked cars, I toss my sketchpad into the passenger seat, jump out the door, and race to intercept the wayward cart.

I catch i and bring it to the one who cried out and she was like, "You're my Hero." and I was like, "All in a days work mam" So I grabbed my cape threw it over my shoulder and took off like a speeding bullet. . .


Ok, maybe I didn't have my cape and I can't fly. . . But hay I felt pretty good, and to top it off I got the job. (If my "pee in a cup" thing comes back (-).)

Oh and did I mention I've got a cold, I don't get sick much but when I do It's bad. So all of yesterday I felt like crap, and today I'm bed ridden w/ a headache, "stuffy" nose, and a stomach that wants to go into rebellion.

They told me to come back later and we scheduled a new meeting for the middle of the week. Again "Agh!" I have to waist gas for another trip to a meeting and I don't even know if it will result in a job.

I wish we had public transportation around here. Like they have in New York or Europe.

This day (5-12-08) is my last day of college before summer break. And I need to get a job. I've been living off of my earnings from last summer and graduation $. I'm really not to picky about what kind of job, but anything having to do w/ computers or media would make my summer. :)

But hay, life is good, I have my laptop with a smoken. . . (well everything I love this thing), no-one in my family is sick, and I have creativity out the wazo. I believe you can expect quite a few new submissions over the next few months, I want to try my hand at a few new things this summer like painting and sculpture but we'll see. . . (now to get me an industrial size scanner.) :D

In other news

My family is trying to adopt some kids from Liberia. It has been going for a month or so (i prob should have journaled sooner :P). but we are all a bit inpatient we were told it would take about 3 months so we still have a ways to go but still things seen to be going so slow.
