        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Well, since it's been 8 months or so since I wrote my last journal, I figured it was time for an update, if for no other reason, than just to get the last journal off my main page so people won't think that I'm still the Vector CV :) Not that I mind helping, and will still help if anyone needs it :heart:<br /><br />So, gosh, 8 months...my life must be fairly boring, as I don't really have much news! lol Time flies, but I'm not sure where it goes.  I will be having some long-awaited and much-needed surgery on July 4th, and while I'm not looking forward to the actual surgery, I am looking forward to afterwards, when hopefully my quality of life will be a ]]></media:text>

        <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ If you're not already aware, there've been some changes made to the Daily Deviations rules!<br /><br />:bulletred: The 3-month rule is now the 6-month rule, meaning that it must be at least 6-months since the last time an artist received a daily deviation. (This was an overwhelmingly popular suggestion from the community and I agree, it's a good one!)<br /><br />:bulletred:  Daily deviation selectors may only select one daily deviation per day maximum. This has been put in place to focus on Quality vs Quantity.<br /><br />I especially like the 6 months rule change :D  This means I have to dig deeper and find some of you amazing Vector Artists that I haven't discovered yet ]]></media:text>

Raster formats are based in pixels and vector is based in paths and points.<br /><br />When you resize a raster image, you are expanding the pixels. It was a full-on day, but the Memorial Service was beautiful and spending the day shopping with my friends was wonderful.  I was so thankful for today, for different reasons;  One being that one of the friends I went with is the friend who was in the horrific car crash back in October, and just the fact alone that she's able to be out and about like we were today, even if she's still mostly wheel-chair bound, well I just feel so blessed that she's here, that she's been such a wonderful  ]]></media:text>

So they took my details and asked me to have a seat and wait. I can barely walk at this point and sitting wasn't too comfy either. 2 hours later they call me to take my vitals...and tell me to go back and wait again, but gave me some pain killers which made things a little better. 2 hours more go by and they finally have a bed for me. It felt so good to just lie down! After seeing 3 doctors, getting a bit of morphine for the pain, they decide it's not my appendix or anything needing surgery, and leave it up to m ]]></media:text>

Just thought I'd update my Journal a bit and check how all of you are.  It's been a crazy few weeks for me, with very little time for anything artistic outside of work. My job has taken a front seat to most everything at the moment.  We're a 5 person operation when everyone is there, but we're down two people at the moment, which makes things somewhat hectic for the 3 of us left.  Our receptionist had her baby a few weeks ago, followed by our supervisor's wife, who had her baby this past Saturday.
