I have two new paintings that I just completed and will be posting it hopefully this week and also prints that I will be getting up soon for purchase.

The 2 paintings will be shown at Black Maria [link] at 3137 Glendale Blvd., Los Angeles. I WILL (emphasis on the will) be there opening night for the group show. I will not be making any of my images into printable items on DA at the moment. I'm thinking of working on a website to sell prints and hope to get that up for the new year. Thank you too all those who are already interested in prints.

I’m currently freelancing and I have a few side projects that I hope to start soon. Also I’ll be showing in five galleries across the states in the up and coming year. Dates and location will be announced soon.

I won't have time to post too much here until September 9th. I'll be returning back to Toronto then.

Side note: I checked out Dreamworks yesterday and ronald kurniawan gave us a private tour. Very talented man, humble and did i mention TALENTED! [link] Dreamworks has a lot of new movies up their sleeves. I can't say what they are but be sure to be on the look out. Their past movies haven't been so great but they have gone to the next level with these new movies.

and I will be heading down to Los Angeles for our internship with Illustrator James Jean [link] for two months. We arrive July 2nd and will be leaving back to Toronto August 30th. We are also working with Beau Basse at project gallery. [link] We will be living in Venice, CA but work will be in Santa Monica and Culver city.

What will we be doing there?
July 3-6 we will be attending anime expo convention [link] I will be selling prints and keychains. Hope some of you can make it out. I'll give you more details about this later.

July 24-27 we will be attending San Diego comic con along side with James Jean who will be doing some signing for his up and coming book. [link]

Later on we will get a chance to meet Ronald Kurniawan's and hopefully get a tour of his studio [link]

We will also be attending many of the galleries each weekend.

Possibly meet up with at the end of July

Hope some of you can come out, if you are in the LA area we can meet, chit chat, coffee? msg me here or send me a note I'd love to meet you!

The rest of the time I'll be surfing and suntanning!!!


One last thing. We will be documenting the whole trip and hopefully get it up and running on You tube. Stay posted for videos and pictures. It's gonna be EPICKKK!

For those of you with less then 20 posts, I fully understand if some of you were busy but it is still manageable. I did it over the school year during exam time (I strangely did better). Hope you'll join the next time and get more posts up to challenge yourself. Practicing daily is the only way for an artist to improve.

For myself, I realize I slack a lot more over the summer. I need to fix this habit and produce consistent artwork. Though I only had up 12 pieces I think I did improve a little, not much...but a little. Hopefully next time i'll be able to do 30.

It was a little difficult to keep track of all of you. I think for the next round I can only let in a certain number of people. Let me know your feedback and feelings on this challenge. Hope to hear something from each one of you. It would be nice to know, if it actually helped you and if I should continue doing these.

Ok so here’s the scoop. A few of you have been asking about my internship and to clear it all up for you guys I will be in Los Angeles for the months of July 1-August 30. Doing what? A friend and I will be Interning with James Jean! Yes you heard it O.o James Jean. If you don’t already know who he is, here’s his [link] site. I’m insanely nervous and excited, at the same time, for the internship. I’ll be working on my portfolio and attending the San Diego comic con with him as well. He is extremely talented and he seems like a nice guy....guess I’ll find out. I hope to meet lots of people, make some connections and to party like a rockstar (hahaha right.....)

I will also be working with project Gallery [link] while my stay in LA, which is fantastic as well!! Can’t wait. Maybe I'll show there as well *crosses fingers* if they like my artwork.

Now I’m going to go pee in my pants.

I only made it to day 25 but on top of school work, and a social life that's pretty damn good. I'm going to finish the rest of the 5 days but im going to take my time. Im so behind on school work, but once it's finished i'll be pumpin out artwork.
