I lived through four game generations (technically five, but I was too young to enjoy the 8-bit era), and I've never seen a console so difficult to get than the Nintendo Wii.
I pretty much gave up efforts in purchasing it, until I was at the local Radio Shack. Just for fun I asked the clerk if they have any and when they'd get a new shipment. And unlike most retailers, he told me what day. Interesting thing about my Radio Shack is that they don't sell out within an hour when they get a shipment like Wal-Mart or Gamestop.
So on Tuesday, I dropped on by to check and they had one left, since I didn't have any money, they actually held it for me (another surprise), so I could get it the next day.

Apparently, Radio Shack doesn't advertise when they have a new Wii (by not putting it on store shelves), and that's how they don't sell out so quickly.

So if you have trouble getting one, you now know where to look.

Now all I need now are some good one player games.

My mom is currently stationed in Swaziland, and I haven't seen her in a year. So I was going to visit her. But then I realize something....

Why take a 17-hour flight in an economy class, to a third world, AIDS ridden, malaria stricken country, with constant power outages, with no broadband internet or a movie theater.

When I can stay here in the States.
So I told my mom that unless it's Canada, England, Japan, or even France, I'm no longer interested in traveling around the world. I did it for ten years. I'm DONE.

Here's the thing, Life Drawing is a prerequisite to my major course.

Life Drawing:
This studio course provides students a thorough understanding of the structure and anatomy of the human figure. With this foundation, students render proportion, weight, form and mass of the figure. Drawing skills developed in previous classes are further refined by a variety of dry media.

In short: we draw naked people.

Drawing for Sequential Art:
This course focuses on students' observational skills as they apply to storytelling for sequential art. Models demonstrate how characters interact with their environment and manipulate props.

I applied for jobs and nobody hired me,
I watched Daria for the first time and now it's become one of my favorite cartoons of all time,
I got to see Jem and Beverly Hill Teens for the first time since I was like, 12, (viva la YouTube),
I finally got a nice Wacom tablet, and Photoshop on my laptop, producing work at a faster rate,
and my artwork has improved somewhat.
and after four years I finally reached 15,000 hits.
Now, I'm heading back to school, scared and excited at the same time, as I look forward to start taking my first major, "Intro to Sequential Art", along with "Drawing for Storyboard", "Computer Arts" (my medium of choice , and all my teachers seem pleasant this time around.

So wish me luck, as I wish you all good luck in everything ya do.

Please go see this movie. Not because it's as funny as hell, but because it'll bring back 2d animated movies to theaters, and hopefully more PG-13 animated movies as well.
