you've probably figured out by now, but I'm busy as all hell right now. :'D I know I just told all of you this but my art classes are eating my life. ruin, I don't know HOW you managed to do jackshit in your AP art class last year, but I'm guessing your teacher didn't have a gigantic iron bar shoved up their ass like my teacher does. :'D and then when I DO have time to do anything, I devote it all to working on that AATR final thing (NO I DIDN'T FORGET ABOUT THAT I PROMISE) which takes forever to do anyways, especially since I'm actually trying to do a good job on this one. XD soooo, yeah, no updates.
I promise after I get that out of the way I'll get to work on those kiribians.
as for commissions... :'D I think I'm gonna hold those off until I stop being incredibly busy and actually have time to do things, lol. I don't want to get commissions and then take 3 months to finish them because that's ridiculous and you shouldn't have to wait 3 months for somebody to finish a damn commission. XD so, none of that for a while.

and I want to make journal css. D': I know how, I just don't know what to like...draw for it. XD I'll get around to that.



and so now that I've finished complaining that I have no time to do anything, and I are totally entering NaNoWriMo next month. XDD it's a sort of...not-really competition where the challenge is to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of november. I say a not-really competition because there's no like..prize for the best novel or anything, you're considered a winner if you finish at all. XD I'm not even that much of a writer, but it sounds like a lot of fun and maybe if I'm incredibly time-savvy I'll be able to finish. XDD aaahaha...which, I totally doubt that, but I can try anyway, right? :'D

SO. XD good news, my lovelies. paypal had won many battles but now I have won the war. (I've been trying to get it to work since, like, may. XD I don't want to talk about it). it's all ready to use now, so I can start commissions whenever the hell I want. c8
I don't think I will right away though, lawl, I'm gonna try to wrap up that final AATR page I've been meaning to finish. XDD it's kinda slow going. I think I've been enjoying not-drawing-comics a little too much, haha, so I haven't really been in a rush to finish it. sometime soon, though.


and y'know, school really isn't helping a whole lot either. XD the year's been going pretty good so far, not gonna lie. thanks to the hellish art program I'm in I have 3 art classes this year. I mean, I've always had three art classes, but before I always had like, one drawing class and two other classes like ceramics or photography or something. but this year is like, AP drawing, portfolio (basically, for the AP kids, another period to work) and drawing III. XDD a hell of a lot of drawing, just how I like it. kinda.
AP is fast-paced as all hell. XD a project due every two weeks. and really, at first I was like, OHAY, THAT'S A LOT OF TIME, I CAN DO THAT! but then that was before the duedate for the first project suddenly jumped up and bit us on our asses. XD I mean, good thing I finished early (well technically on-time but whatever) but I think I'm gonna have to step it up a bit, lawl.

UNLESS I'M DOING one of those quick photoshop things I draw with the pencil tool. those take like, under a few hours.

depends on who/what I'm drawing. XD I have playlists for each of my characters that I listen to when I draw them. and if I don't feel like doing that then I listen to like..whatever fits the mood of what I'm drawing. and if I don't feel like doing that, I listen to metal.

depends. I don't..really control when I get ideas, they come when they feel like it. XD which can be reeeeeeally inconvienient, lemme tell ya.

mechanical pencil, white eraser, SAI. I hate drawing in photoshop unless it's with th3e pencil tool. XD looooove that pencil tool.

like an...aqua green. or red. XD bright, bright, eye-burning red.

haha MAN I'M ALWAYS REALLY BUSY LATELY. it's usually like, art projects (the one keeping me busy most recently was the national duck stamp which is like...just a really realistic duck of some sort I guess) and sometimes it's online classes and sometimes I'm just practicing drawing various things and then the rest of the time I get lost in the magical world of youtube. :'D oh how the time passes.

I never got anything finished before and now that christmas is up and coming I had the bright idea of making all my christmaspresents for everyone this year, like little plushies and stuff. cause I..didn't know what to buy anyone, ahaha. :'D

I have plushied before, I've just never uploaded any it :'D or really...finished the actual plushies, for that matter. I made one of one of my characters, but he doesn't have hair or a face or most of his clothes yet because I am totally unable to find felt that remotely resembles his hair color. :c I even tried dyeing felt and everything, haha, didn't work at all. so he's just kinda sitting on my dresser and justchillin for now.


but yeah, plushiepresentmaking is probably going to eat up most of my time for a while, so don't expect a lot of uploads form me xD not that you do anyway.
I might upload some of the things I make but ehhh. only if I really like it and..after I actually give out the presents, hahaha.

Wow, this has to be the most realistic this question could get…it would only be better if 8 were Shinobu, but w/ev. lD ummm, he’d probably tell him to go do a mission involving whatever Xander specializes in, but the thing is I don’t know what specialty yet. lDD; he’d probably be good at getting through heavy security and picking locks and stuff like that, so Zero’d probably tell him to go infiltrate some facility somewhere and bring Donnie so he could plant a bomb or something like that. It would probably work, coz that’s just how Zero rolls. :B

04) What is or would be 9's [Krupa’s] favorite book?
Um, Krupa obviously avoids reading. lD I don’t even know if he CAN read xD; but assuming he does, it’d probably be, like, the back of a box of Hot Pockets or something.

05) Would it make more sense for 2 [Donnie] to swear loyalty to 6 [Shinobu], or the other way around?
Oh, wow. Well, Shinobu probably wouldn’t swear loyalty to his brother-in law if someone was holding a gun to his head…and Donnie would either refuse and run away or make some weird sexual joke out of it. So prolly Donnie. >_>

hahah, school is a whole lot better than I thought. I already have more friends than I thought I'd have, and my classes are really good.

so basically, more than half of my day is pretty much playing with clay, drawing, and running around in circles. Well actually, I lied about my classes being 'really good'. I hate PE, art history is really boring and we watch movies and take notes every day, and Algebra II is probably the scariest class I've ever taken.

but the rest are okay, I guess. Most are easy, at least.


but Algebra II...homg. It's so hard. ;_; I almost fail every quiz we take, and half the questions on homework are like 'o___o;;;'
so I'm gonna try like my life depends on it. I haven't ever gotten anything lower than a B yet, and I'm not gonna start now. I take notes in class like every day, and if I need a tutor, so be it.

buuut I sorta wish I was taking Algebra I. D: I never even took it, I'd be taking it now if I needed it to graduate, but no...stupid placement test in Pre-Algebra landed me in Geometry in 8th grade :1 I now wish I'd only half-tried on that stupid thing. DDD:

and even if I overcome whatever invisible force is eating all my mathematical abilities, I still have to take pre-calculus next year, AP calc (homg) in junior year, and I'm probably gonna have to go drive over and take a college course in math when I'm a senior. dude...

I've had an awesome summer so far. :> I've been keeping in touch with all the important people from school, and volunteering at the arts camp for little kids (what I did last year) has been pretty fun.

I have to say, there's a lot of cute kids, but my favorite is actually my health teacher's son :B he's, like, 5 or something, and he's friggin ADORABLE. holy crap, I thought it was going to kill me that kid was so cute xD He was my buddy last Friday :B you see, Friday's are the days that the kids put on a play for their parents, and my job for the day was to follow around the 6-7 year old group, the purple group, allll day long. and while the groups are waiting their turn to go onstage, they wait in the art rooms to draw and watch movies and stuff. So, I was in the art rooms, watching children run amok, and then I see this cute little boy sitting pretty much by himself at a different table then his group, since there was no more room cuz there are like 1000000000 5-7 year olds, so I go to sit next to him to keep him company. and then I'm like OMG HE'S UBER ADORABLE :'D so I ask him his name and he's all like "bryyyyyce" and I'm like "hiiiii I'm Anna" and he asked me what school I went to xD random, but I told him. and then he got this astounded look on his face for about ten seconds and he's like "I know you! my daddy told me bout you" and I was like really. and yeah xD but it was so awesome, we drew cute animals together but it makes me sad cuz he's not there this week. but oh well xD

but enough about dangerously cute children. I'm so getting my hair cut today :B which normally wouldn't seem like a big deal, but like...it is for me lD cuz I haven't cut my hair in a verrrrry long time, and it's like below my butt. :D I'm so excited to finally get it cut <3 I'm so donating it to locks for love. and I have to show a picutre of my long hair, coz she demanded it lDD; but I shall xD once I can get them on my computer P:

hmm, what else...OH OH! NATIONAL TSA TRIP ON SATURDAY! well, we're leaving then :> It's in Tennessee (Nashville) and it's, like, a 14-hour drive xD but we're stopping overnight in Georgia to take a break, sooo~ but whatever. I'm so pumped but how awesome would that be if we won something? xD haha. very awesome. <3333

I...am feeling better. A lot better, actually. There's always the phone, there's always Myspace, there's always making plans and getting together for somethin. :] speaking of that, I went to the zoo with my favorite person in the world yesterday (xDD favorite person haha), which was totally awesome xD and then we went to the movies with a whole bunch of our other friends and watched Pirates 3. I must say, everyone else hated it, but I kinda liked it. I mean, the story kinda sucked and was really hard to follow, and I barely understood it, but the action and the special effects were amazing. It wasn't exactly what I expected, though...

and then today, I'm gonna head on over to my friend's house to this pool party with a bunch of the people who went to the movies yesterday, and more, and it's gonna be a sleepover too. :] fun fun! It's supposed to start at 12, though, and it's 10:45 now xD and I just woke up xDD I might be a tad late, ahaha. <3

and then next week I get to go to New York City!! I'm so friggin excited! I've never been there before. :] The closest I've been to there was when I was in Boston, and I loved that 8D haha I sooo want to go to the big Nintendo store up there!! <3333

I got Pokemon Pearl a little while ago. :] holy crap it's awesome. haha, I even doubled the awesomeness by not looking up any new Pokemon before getting it. Like, with every game before, I always look up all the new Pokemon, but then I'm not surprised when I first see them. but now I'm all surprised when I see new ones xD it's amazing

and the last week of my eighth-grade life.

god.

I don't want this year to end.
this year...was seriously the best year of my life. which probably makes sense, but eh.

Before this year, and before last year, I was a loner. I really barely had any friends. a few, but...not a lot.

Then, at the end of 6th grade, my mom told me she was taking me out of my old school and sending me to this brand new school that just opened.

I did not want to go.

6th grade was actually the first year I had more than two or three really good friends at school, and I did not want to leave that behind.

but then I got to my new school.

and I made more friends then I'd ever dreamed of having.
I changed, too. I think I got...funnier, more sensitive, more self esteem...happier...and I hope that that change was for the better.
I remember once I was sitting in computer class, with a group of my friends, talking, chucking tubes of Chapstick, having a blast. and someone from my old school, who was just sitting there, said, "you were cooler at our old school."
and I was just like

"so?"

and got hit in my ear with the Chapstick.

I never knew I'd forget about my old school like that. The school I'd been at for 6 years, just seemed so...unimportant to me. It was sort of like, a big chunk of my life had some meaningless sense to it all of a sudden. But then I thought...this is worth it. These two years...they've been so worth it. Every minute of it.

and I owe a big part of it to one certain person.

but anyway.

I went to the eighth grade dance last night.

fun.

holy crap. seriously, that was the best dance ever! it was just one big blur of dancing and fun and so many awesome memories.

and after it was over

I went home
took a shower
played pokemon
got into bed
cried.

I cried so much.

I cried because I was so miserable, so happy, about the dance, and my friends...and that that's all gonne end in a few short half days of final exams.

I know there's gonna summer.
I know I can try and stay in contact with my close friends.
I know there's gonna be high school.
I'm sorry.

I heard it on the radio. Apparently, the director of Demon Days, Danger Mouse, switched to being the director/producer (can't remember which one it was) to all the future Gnarls Barkley albums instead of the Gorillaz. So, I guess Damon Albarn started focusing on making new CDs for Blur, which is his 'primary' band. (Gorillaz was actually sort of a side project for him and Jamie Hewlett, I think.) and no Damon, no lead singer, no band.

This past week has been the best week I've had in months, possibly years.


last Wednsday, we finally went on the TSA trip, and omg. that has got to be one of the fnnest things I've ever done.
haha, sorry I left without telling you guys, but I really had no time at all whatsoever to tell you guys about it before I left, I was so busy with homework and packing and crap. even now, I have a disgusting amount of homework piled up in my room for me to do, all due tomorrow. xD lucky me.

but...right. TSA trip. it was so friggin awesome. 5 days and 4 nights spent with my bestest friends in the world. I shared a hotel room with my 3 pwn friends, and then a buynch of our dude friends were like, always in our room and crap except for when we were sleeping, so...xD haha, we have so many inside jokes from that trip now. heh, every day we'd go out and dress up in our fancy suits and go do competitions and stuff...I think I did Leadershipk, Tech Bowl, Environmental, Inventions and Innovations, and Chapter Team. haha, we kicked arse in every competition we did except for Chapter team xD we had roles, like Prez, vice prez, secretary, seargeant at arms, etc. and we had to memorize liunes ond stuff and repeat them in front of judges...you know, stuff like that. and omg, we blew it so bad xD well, I did. I forgot my whole...one sentence that I had to say lD but it still ruined the whole thing xD ah well~

when we didn't have any competitions to do or anything, we'd either do these spirit event things or hang out in our room. the spirit events were fun... we had to do tyhings like go on scavneger hunts, which consisted of taking creative pictures of whatever it told us to take pictures of, or getting clues to go find jigsaw pieces around the hotel and stuff like that. but when we were just hanging out, we'd do stuff like go to the food shop thing outside our room and buy frappuchinos and stuff, or go into the pictochat on our DSs xDD it was so much FUN and we'd listen to music and stuff, too :B

we went to a bunch of formal things, like luncheons and regular meetings and crap... we stayed up until like, midnight just being at the award ceremony. haha, the award ceremony was awesome xD we totally cleaned up~ but omg, the auditorium was SO EFFING HOT~ I mean, it was UNBELIEVABLE how hot it was in that place. and we were just sitting there in our thick suits sweating our butts off and fanning ourselves with our program xD but dude, we were so smelly afterwards xD it was so disgusting but then it was SO AWESOME~ Me and whoever else I worked with for a project got into the top 10 out of the STATE for every single event we did. I mean, this wasn't just some random little local thing, this was the friggin state of Florida xD I was so proud of myself~
AND lD our school only has, like, 9 people in our TSA while all the other schools have a whole lot more xD so we only got, like, two trophies lD (you get a trophy for placing in either 1st, 2nd or 3rd for that particular event) but the AWESOME thing was, it was the same three people who got the trophies--me and my friends Brittney and Shane. 8D us and only us xD hahaha it was so pimpin. We got 2nd place for Technology Bowl (which was sorta like a Jeopardy for random science-like questions) and 1ST PLACE in Leadership (which was like, they gave us a...predicament and we had to find a way to get around it or solve it or something. it sounds easy, but...it really isn't. lD) We knew we got 2nd in Tech Bowl, coz we were actually there when we lost in the final round to another school, of course lD but 1st place in Leadership was such a friggin surprise~ they called our school for the top 10, which we knew we got, since we made the final round, so we went up front to get the pins we get when we make the top 10 for something, and they were like, 3RD PLACE: SO-AND-SO MIDDLE SCHOOL so I was like, darn, maybe we made 2nd place and they were like 2ND PLACE: BLAH-BLAH-BLAH MIDDLE and so I was like okay, we didn't get anything. and all of a sudden, they were like 1ST PLACE: MIDDLE SCHOOL and we were like OH MY GOD and we like ran up and got our trophy and got our picture taken and like ran back to our seats~ and my friend Sarah was like I AM AMAZINGLY PROUD OF YOU GUYS :'D and I was so friggin happy http://Doxuumu.deviantart.com/journal/12520972/ Mon, 09 Apr 2007 07:12:51 PDT

O: which surprised me, coz I really didn't think I'd get anything xD but I was at my grandma's house at the time, so my brother and I were gonna go to brunch with my huge-arse family, then go straight home from there. which meant that we had to bring all of our stuff.

ah, I'm off to go like...lounge around and work out and eat healthy foods and play Animal Crossing: WW and Kingdom Hearts and the Sims 2 and stuff. :B

I haven't updated in so long, I figured now would be a good time to do so xD

eeheeee~ I feel sick. lD;; not necessarily like blah, but...my stomach really hurts. Dx it's like, something I ate's getting revenge and is now, like, stabbing my tummy out lDDD;; "DIE DIE DIE" :B I need tea.

As for the lack of art, sorry. I finally finished my commissions, and since then I really don't feel like drawing all that much anymore. I have a bazillion sketches I drew, it's just...none of them are inked or colored. xDDD
I tried inking some pics the other day while talking to and my tablet kinda...wonked out on me lDD like, I wouldn't even be touching the tablet and it would be selecting things xDDD I had the brush tool out and it was scribbling all over the canvas, it was a disaster xD hopefully it's fixed itself by now.

Like , I paired up a few f my characters and made LOVECHILDREN lDD it was very fun. I don't think I'll post them up here just yet, I gotta post all my other charatcers first rather than having me talking about characters you've never seen before lDDDD;;; I promise, I have some sketches of them I can color. <3
as for the 100 theme challenge, I promise I'm working on it. I have this great big one that I'm not sure how to color, and I drew a sketch for another one that I'd really like to finish xDD

as for school...things haven't exactly been...going too well lDDD I'm not going to whine and groan to all you guys about stuff you could care less for, though, so you don't have to worry. xD things could be so much worse, I should be really grateful. <3 which I try to be, at least >___>

Today, I had to get up at 6:45 to go to a math competition. e___e;; teehee. >__> I was originally just going to do the individual part, but two of the kids on the actual math team didn't show, so me and this other kid had to fill in for them. o__o it was actually pretty sad, everyone on the team was from the exact same class. xDD there's only, like, 9 people in our class, too, and there were 4 of us on the team. xD sad.
It was actually funner than I expected it to be, which is really surprising, since I hate math o____o; please don't ask me why I went. xDDD; We didn't win anything, though. hehe, I'd be really surprised if we did xD I, like, ruined it for everyone on the team coz I bombed the last round lD;;;; but hey, I tried.

Heh, our school had a spelling bee a few days ago that I was in, too. lDDDD;; haha, I know, I'm such a nerd.
