Hello!
It has been a long winter but spring has finally, almost officially
arrived. It is 63 degrees (yes that's above zero) today. The sun is
shining, folks are out in tee shirts and shorts, jogging, riding
bicycles and motorcycles. One of those feel good days, a day that you
just need to get out into. A day you have waited for all winter.
We were scheduled at the hospital this morning at 8 AM for bloodwork,
followed by a CT scan, then a meeting with our oncologist to find out
the long awaited results.
Randy had been feeling very tired the past week, tightness in his chest,
some coughing with pain. This morning he was short of breath and was
having cold sweats.Perfect timing for a hospital visit. Our doctor
informed us from the CT results that he has radiation pneumonia in his
left lung where there is fluid build up. It was good to find out why he
had been feeling the way that he had. Another mystery solved. The up
side to this is that Dr Clamon could not see the tumor in his left lung.
He put Randy on a steroid, Prednisone, for 7 days and wanted us to come
back next week for follow up. Problem is that we are planning on vending
at the Potomac Flute Fest in Rockville Md and would be heading out
Monday to spend some time with our Aunt and Uncle before the show next
weekend.(check it out at www.potomacflutecircle.net) We now have an
appointment Friday morning for a chest xray and follow up with our
oncologist. We then will meet with our radiologist. At present we are
still planning our trip east. We have also learned while traveling this
road that things can change rather quickly. You have to be able to roll
with the punches.
We had targeted a tumor (#2) in the right lung with 25 radiation and 5
chemo. The CT scan showed this tumor to have shrunk by a third. It can
continue to shrink for up to 6 months. So overall we received really
good news with just a minor set back.
A beautiful day. Tomorrow it will be even nicer. We are looking forward
to spending time with our family and friends. Thank you for being there.

My dad is a strong guy, he has been keeping it together and with the help of family and friends he is still alive and with us today. I spent two weeks in class (2 hours three days a week) just modding Mystic. THen tonight for over four hours I recorded... and spent a total of about 7 hours just on the pictures. Late last month my dad coughed up a hunk of tissue. After taking it to the doctors office the next day and having it sent out it was tested upon and the results came back showing that it was a hunk of a tumor. Non-small cell, the most treatable cancer of the lung type. This does not put my dad in the clearing yet. They found three lumps, one in each lung and then another on his L1 vertebrae, meaning it has already begun to spread.

Later, after he had been diagnosed with lung cancer (no one was telling what stage it was in yet), my mom and dad just had returned home from a radiation treatment when he started coughing up blood. My mom immediately got him to an ambulance, after grabbing a bucket, and they rushed him down to the ER. My sister followed the ambulance, the lights were not on because it was not fatal, and later on Marc and I went down there.

Now he is getting along a lot better. He is still doing radiation as well as chemo. He is on medication as well.

Now I have never really mentioned my birthday on Dev as for all the other websites I tend to hang around at but I figured this year would be different. One, because of the Brawl incident and two, because I am joining my boyfriend Marc in leaving the 'teens' behind. It is my 20th birthday, no longer will the phrase, "Those damn teenage drivers!" be referring to me. Cool, huh?

I don't know if I ever told you this but my sister was engaged to a boy in my class last year down in Florida. Before that she had been with him at least three years. Every month they exchanged cards and gifts when their monthly anniversary rolled around. William was a bit stuck up but he loved my sister dearly.

After the 12th grade William signed his life away and was shipped off to boot camp. My sister whaled when he left only to be over joyed when he'd return. Soon it was school time and William left again. He has been gone almost for two years in which time they grew apart.

They have been fighting more recently until my sister decided to call it quits. She told him that they needed a breather from one another.

Just last week a 19 year old into Native American flute playing came up to stay with my parents. He is there still, this very day. My dad is going to do his signature flutes and if you are at all familiar with flute players he is very close to Mary Yongueblood; a top performer.

When Marc and I were over there last Friday I saw my sister and Johnny snuggling on the couch. They had that same look that her and William had previous years ago. I was sick to my stomach. How could she do this? She broke up with William not 3 weeks ago. I later heard that her and Johnny have been hanging out and flute events which took place before she cut the knot. I can understand she likes to meet new people but what I don't understand is how could she ditch William so quickly?

I never expected my sister to do such a thing. I know if I ever broke up with Marc (which I am not planning on anytime soon if ever) I wouldn't be able to get over it. I would be single for a long time to come. Here's my sister just jumping on the band wagon again. What should I do? I mean I kinda want to tell her how I feel but I don't want her made at me. Any suggestions?

He goes in around 2 PM works his ass off for the bastards til about 11 PM when he gets off and returns home. Within that span he gets an hour lunch, and two 15 minute breaks. So pleasant? Maybe until the horrors arise...

In the back he suffers through enduring harsh times by unloading poorly loaded trucks. Many things happen, broken legs, cut fingers, bruised limbs, falling heavy objects, and even pass outs! No, he hasn't had all these things happen to him but he has obtained major scars and blood loss. Almost every night he'll return back and have a new band-aid plastered to something of his. All this misfortune and he receives less pay then the people that stand at the cash registers and check out items all day! To top it off the unloaders always have members of management yelling down their backs all fucking day about not getting things done right when it initially wasn't their faults.

One of my friends, Erica, and her boyfriend, Aaron, work there as well (the same store). Erica stays up front specializing in the Vision center (supposed to be part time yet works many over time hours) and Aaron deals with customers at the check out lanes (also supposed to be part time yet does many hours overtime as well). They rarely (to my knowledge) suffer such consequences.

I may have told you earlier this year how a massive ice storm hit our area of Cedar Rapids. If not let me inform you, one day it started raining then got worst and froze. There was a good couple inches atop everything, cars and all. The power went out and everything was shut down for a good two days in town (even businesses). Out in the country they lacked power for two weeks!

When this storm hit Wal-Mart went to back up generators. Erica and Aaron were not required to work that day, not even help with the freezers and food. They got to stay home and enjoy the company of one another on such a scary occasion. Did Marc get this lucky? Fuck no! He had to go there and stay the whole fucking time to lock down things, try and keep food cold and that shit. I was stuck here alone without him just thinking of how easy Erica and Aaron had it. I spent a good two hours or more out in the ice rain de-icing my car. My nose was running, fingers stiff, eyes freezing shut almost just to scrape the ice from my car to go pick up Marc. When his shift was over he went out into the horrors of the storm. I was just exiting the door to pick him up when he called telling me he got a ride home. Yes, I was upset cause I did all that work for nothing but what really pissed me off was the fact that the unloaders were screwed over during the whole thing.

To get to the point, IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN! The unloaders are being screwed again! They are changing hours from their original times to 4 PM to 1 AM. I am ticked! I set my schooling schedule up according to Marcs work schedule so we can spend the most time together as possible. This totally screws it all over. They are moving the time because within the last two months the unloaders have been slow at getting things done or they just don't do it right. Yeah it may seem like "They deserve it" but hell no one is FUCKING PERFECT! Damn Wal-Mart needs to realize this and that these people have a life outside of work. So here is what I got to say to Wal-Mart management and anyone else who pushes these people around,

"GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND DO IT YOURSELF YOU BASTARDS! If things don't get done the way you want, DO IT YOURSELF!"

Half the time the management sucks anyways and they are assholes... I have heard more things about Wal-Mart that are bad and how the people are treated then good. Yeah I'll shop at the fucking store but that won't keep me from bashing it.

Sorry for the rant, thanks to those who took time to read it. I have no one else to go to.

Dang, I can't believe I was caught -phooy-

Cool thing is though this year I bugged my parents and am able to take my boy friend so this year I won't be an out cast like I was last year when my sister got to take her boy friend and I didn't take anyone. Course last year I really didn't have anyone too take, so all in all it works out just perfectly.

The neat thing is, my boy friend and I met on Furcadia in wolf RP and well, last year we met some owners of this wolf preserve so this year we are going to be the only group there and get to see the wolves. That's not all, this place allows you to go In with the wolves. Technically they aren't wolf wolves, they are wolf dogs but still high % of wolf. If we were able too we might of even gotten to camp near the wolf pens and heard them howl at night, but we don't get to do that cause it is out of the way. Ah well

Another thing is we may get to go deep sea fishing, I hope we do cause I wanna see what I can catch.

Well, I must be off, I just kinda wanted to let you know not to expect any comments from me, like I leave many anyways but I do. I will go through all your art when I get back, but probably not comment unless I just LOVE the piece, sorry, 10 days of deviations just is a lot a lot.

In an interview with Spike TV, marketing manager of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime, has just confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will not be seeing a release untill this fall.

Speculations have gone crazy lately, with retailer after retailer putting the community up-side down. This is probably the reason Reggie speaks out now, that the game will not release before E3 and will be released for the Gamecube in the fall of 2006.

Whether we should be happy to have been proven our point of the retailers talking nothing but bogus, be happy they will spend more time on making it even better, or cry our hearts out for having to wait even longer, we don't know. As we have said before, Nintendo has it's own kind of logic and it works for them, so let's have good hope and look forward to a game that will still shake the gaming world to it's very foundations.


Welp fellas, looks like they have done it again. I don't know about you but I am getting overly pissed about the whole thing. I want a Zelda game God damn it! Not some Gameboy little kiddish one either, but a reall hard ass Teen skull splitting action packed kick Ganon ass game, but now once again, all of us must wait. We were doing a lab that required this long tube like thingy that we had to attach to a busen burner rod thing. Well I was working on my lab and my 'friend' walked by and hit it with her pinky, it tipped over and right when it did I yelled out her name. The funnel that we had at the top fell out and broke. I was made fun of the rest of the class time and she said I did it when I was no where near it. Then the next day she came up to me and said that she didn't want to be my lab partner anymore b/c I don't go down and help with labs during SH. I have TONS of Algebra II homework, she is in foundations.
A way she was mean this week was one of my teachers hold a thing called Quiz Bowl. last year I asked her if we could be on a team next year (this year) with Tori, another person I thought was my friend, well anyway she made a team right under me and mentioned nothing about it. Now I am not on Quiz Bowl again. I hang out with people in the class under me and Quiz Bowl is a class team thing.
My week also sucks b/c my mom likes this stupid cat more and no one likes me at all. My sister is at her friends house for tonight and I am stuck with the losers and the damn cat. My life sucks. I have no freinds what so ever and no one likes me.
