Our flat is being renovated and workers keep going in and out all the time. Most of my friends are on vacation too so there's not really much for me here to do. Of course I'm out in the center every day but it's not exactly enticing to explore big beautiful Moscow all alone if you know what I mean.

And what scares me the most is that in 3 weeks I've read more books than I probably would have read in 3 months or so. And in fact, I'm not exactly a bookworm. Wicked! (Oh I love that icon *teehee*)

Got myself a new computer + scanner like 3 weeks ago (that's why I keep uploading stuff) and bought a few CDs and DVDs, such as 'I, Robot' 'Shrek 2' and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (BTW, that's where I got those pics I used for the photomanips from )

Finally school's off and I'll be off to the airport in about ten minutes. I'm going to Moscow for five weeks
Of course, I'm not going to stop drawing but unfortunately, down there, I don't even have Photoshop installed on my staggering 486 PC. No need to mention that I didn't bother to buy a scanner - but I DO have a connection to the Internet though!
If you have any art requests or something, just write me a message and I'll do my very best (five weeks can be a loooong time)

Here is a little journal entry for those of you who care.


It's July 10, 2004. My birthday. Today I'm turning 18. *yawn* Woohoo.

My parents have been preparing a lot of something together with some of my friends in the last few days - which of course I was not supposed to know *duh* - However, today's weather seemed to have a mind of its own. It was raining all the time and I was freezing my ass off practically all the time.
We're in July now! *sigh*

It's about half past 1 now (AM) and I guess I'm going to catch up some sleep. I feel I'm gonna need it tomorrow ... err today. Yeah, whatever.

Seems like I've discovered a hidden passion of mine yesterday evening: Drawing mangas
I was searching the web for some useful hand tutorials and came to a manga drawing tutorial site just by chance. Here's the [link]
Of course, I started drawing right away and I was a little surprised how easily it went.. and I think the results are quite okay (You can find them in my scrapbook) Guess the next few days I'll be drawing them like mad in order to develop some kind of 'my style'

Really good movie but I think those who haven't read the book before might actually like it better.
Quite a few scenes were completely different or just left out, like the whole [link] exams
the Fireball thing (the fact that Harry got a present came out only at the very end and obviously Cuaron
thought it wasn't neccesary to point out that the boys were angry with Hermione for
reporting it to McGonagall so that she would be spending all her time in the library.
And then, I thought it was quite a pity that they almost didn't show any Quidditch games at all!
No Quidditch final and no devilishly handsome blonde Slytherin on a broom
And what did they do with Pigwidgeon??? I was so curious about how he would look like and what they
would make him behave like.

Sadly, the slapping scene has been replaced with a punching one. Is it just me, or is Draco really
not acting like a prat towards Hermione at all? In my opinion, even that 'filthy little mudblood'
thing didn't really sound like an insult! And really seemed so worried about him after he got hit
by Buckbeak *heehee*
Oh I simply love that animal! Do you know where can I get one?

I'm still wondering, how they're going to do the 'Goblet of Fire' As far as I know they're going
to cut it up to the length of a regular movie! I'm not even sure whether they'll include the
Triwizard Tournament or the Yule Ball! Will there be anything left of the book at all?

Right now, I'm trying to draw Hermione and Viktor at the Yule Ball who are posing in front of Colin's
camera and who are of course earning glances of jealousy and hatred from Harry, Ron and Draco *hehe*.
I have no idea when I'll have time to continue drawing for there's definitly too much to be done
