that aside i thought i'd be getting the right amount of sleep tonight cause I completed AC2 so the PLAY TILL YOU CAN'T PLAY NO MO impulse is gone but NOPE IT IS MIDNIGHT AND I AM STILL UP

on the upside my college teachers have been helping me feel like I can really achieve what I want to in life.
For those of you that don't know I adore animation (traditional, fuck 3D if it's not a video game) and concept art.
But I got worried a few weeks ago because after a quick googletime on courses for such subjects I found out I had to take art.
Yeah.
I didn't take art.
Can't stand the mother fucker.

But today my teachers kept telling me I could do illustration? But when I told them I knew I couldn't because I didn't take art they just
lol they made me feel good because they said you don't need art, just be able to draw and think for yourself and stuff like that.
I'm kind of a dolt irl lol, I never work 100% on the task that needs to be done and never really push for the best (Except in GCSE graphics. I actually cried when I didn't get a prize for it at the Certificate Assembly last week. SILLY I KNOW). I need people to tell me where to go/what to do or I just sit there. It's hard cause now I have to choose what University (college to you AMERICANOS) all by myself, and although my teachers have been wonderful at giving me advice, I just wish they'd go "YOU. YOU WANT TO DO THIS. GO HERE."
They said that the universitys they've been into contact w/ are sick of seeing just logos made on photoshop and printed off on nice paper, and that I would get far to have 2 sheets of A2 (aka FUCKING HUGE) paper of just sketches from my doodle pad I've been taking to college.
BUT HE SAID I HAVE TO KEEP EVEN THE REALLY OLD ONES NOOOOO.

I'm feeling really happy? I feel like I can progress with want I do.
It's strange, I haven't known what to do with myself til now. I took graphics because it looked fun (and it was, I never wanted to miss a lesson), I never thought I'd get into it to the point of crying over an award I didn't get.

"Seems that EA has had enough of Pandemic Studios and have kicked them out of their bed like a cheap 2 dollar whore after a long night of bourbon and coke. As of today Pandemic Studios, makers of Star Wars Battlefront, the Mercenary series and the developer for the upcomming game The Saboteur is no more. The employee death toll? 200.

We here at 4PP had a lot of time with The Sabotuer at PAX 2009 and have spoken highly of it since then. No word has come as to the fate of this game but its most probably going to be turned over to in-house EA developers so its unknown what effect, if any, this will have on the final release.

Its always sad to see a studio close down. Its especially moving since I had a chance to talk to the developers quite a bit during that weekend. They had a very genuine excitement for the experience they were putting together and I certainly feel for them having it ripped out of their hands in such a way. IÂm sure the core development talents behind Pandemic will move on and create another studio in the near future and I look forward to see what they bring us.

We should also note that if this is the way EA treats the companies it absorbs, then we should fear for what they may do to the other companies they currently have in their possession. Remember, Bioware is now owned by EA.

_{Is there anything I can do about my laptop? It keeps overheating. It used to only do that if I accidently blocked the fans with my bedcover, but now it overheats whenever i try to play L4D, TF2 and even the Sims 2 for more than 10 minutes. And that's on a flat surface. Apparently I can get an external fan but I'm not sure if you can get those for laptops.}
