For a couple of years this account has remained almost inactive (and still is sorta), with barely anything put on (about three things I think including a Nightmare chapter that had no comments! I thought people liked that series?).

Despite the barren wasteland that this page had become, I was still drawing fairly regularly, during breaks at college and at home on occasion, but for some reason I never put them up onto DA at all, and as a result the art that is up is now a few years old and no longer represents my current abilities. Earlier this year I decided to try and get back in the scene, and after seeing how better galleries looked at a glance when they were coloured I decided that I should no longer submit line art deviations.

Seems like a good idea right? Thing is, I can't keep my interest up much when colouring, hence why Shapeshifter and Oh Dear are coloured but not shaded unlike my previous Computer coloured pieces! So now this leaves me with a damn backlog of scanned but uncoloured drawings!

So the other day I started contemplating taking a step back and putting stuff up as it is. No one ever complained or insisted I colour everything right? But on the other hand I couldn't deny how coloured works in a gallery look so much more attractive. And I find myself with a dilemma, wait until stuff is coloured before it goes up but end up leaving this DA account near lifeless or start submitting the naked line drawings I used to and maybe even invigorate this place again (at the very least people will notice me again right? Only Crystalas and Slance ever seem to come here these days!). I could always colour later when I feel like it anyway.

So, anyone reading this, what's your opinion?

Well it's a new year and THIS time I'm not gonna leave this gallery devoid of new work! Yeah, I still draw, I just don't update anymore, fell out of the habit a while back due to my job, college and World of Warcraft. But now I'm unemployed! Out of College! And WoW doesn't seem so shiny anymore....

Suddenly I have free time, and I'm not sure what to do with it other than put together Warhammer models. So I suppose I'd better update, but don't expect a flood of new stuff just yet guys.

I'm not quite dead yet! (whenever I'm absent people seem to have think I've died for some reason! How come when people aren't thinking of sex they're thinking of death!?)

I got Legend and Zelda Twilight princess and No more heroes, both are great. Although I've barely played them today, what with the stuff they put on TV and eating stuff.

However on No More heroes I keep driving into stuff on that cool motorbike and on Zelda I'm trying to catch a cat, by releasing a hawk at it.... like you do.

1. I think I might actually be addicted to Dr Pepper, if I go without a glass for long enough I start to get headaches. That's not good really!

2. I love to collect stuff, mainly DVDs, Graphic novels, Games Workshop models and manga. My manga collection alone now numbers 190 volumes!

3. My ambition is to live in Japan and draw my own manga for a living. I've wanted to do this for a few years now and am constantly thinking up new ideas, plots and characters. Unfortunately most of them don't reach paper!

4. Because of indecisiveness and not having any idea what to do, I ended up being in college for 7 years roughly. I've got several art and science qualifications as a result! Yeah, science. I really was lost.

5. Somehow I annoy people without realising it. I try not to but I always manage to find some new way to piss everyone off.

6. I have a younger sister who loves to write. She's written some stories for our younger cousins and usually asks me to draw illustrations.

7. I have a form of very (emphasis on very) mild form of autism called Asperger's syndrome. One of the symptoms is apparently a "lack of creative play", which I find ironic considering the things I do (draw and create characters). But the symptoms do vary from person to person so I guess I got lucky and avoided the lack of creativity crap.
To be honest, if I never said I had Aspergers most of you would probably not even realise there was something wrong with me.

8. In primary school I would draw so often I'd use a load of the school's paper. After a while the teachers decided that I would be banned from using thier paper and had to bring my own in!

Anyway, New York was awesome and I saw loads of cool stuff. Several times we (by that I mean me, the parents and my sis) rode in a tour bus and it seems nearly everything has a story behind it! And I learned a bit too, for example most of the buildings were being built up to the point where the money had run out, then a roof was just put on top of it! Exept for the Empire State building, that was planned from the start.

Speaking of that, I went up there at night (to the 86th flor's observation bit) and the view was spectacular. Seeing the city from so high was very memorable.

Other things I saw was the Chrysler building and the Flat Iron building which was used as the Daily Bugle in the spider-man films.

I also found a comic shop and spent 98 dollars on Graphic novels and manga! That was pretty sweet!

Well now I'm back and thankfully I had no run ins with wasabi like I did last time in America. However I'm finding myself missing watching the Daily Show and the Colbert Report!

In about three or so weeks it's gonna be my birthday, and I'll be 23!

At first I just used his account and got an Orc Hunter (called Urbad) to level ten before my Uncle left, but not before giving me a guest pass that lets me have ten days playing the game for free! Of course I'll have to buy the retail version after those days are up, but the game is worth it!

And of the game itself? Well it's an MMORPG (massive multi-player online role playing game) set in the world where the Warcraft games are set, you can choose one of eight races to play as, four on the alliance side and four on the Horde side. And after that there's loads of character classes to choose from like warrior, mage, hunter, druid to name a few. What you can choose depends on what race you want.

The races you can play as are-

Horde- Orc, Troll, Undead, Tauren (like a Minotaur).
Alliance- Human, Dwarf, Gnome (midgets! DCE will like that), Night Elf.

There's an expansion thing coming soon that will bring two new races, Blood Elves for the Horde and Draeni for the alliance. I might try the Draeni, they look interesting.

The world itself you travel and quest in is HUGE! I mean it, it's so very easy to get lost in. There's so much to explore and do. And not to mention how varied it gets, I started in a desert-ish area and now the place I'm in resembles the savannah of Africa, there's even creatures resembling lions, hyenas, giraffes and zebra roaming the place.

There are plenty of adversaries to fight, you get typical fantasy creatures like Harpies and centaur, animals like boars and the aforementioned Africa like creatures, original creations like the Quillboar (pig people) and Makrura (lobster people) and players from the opposing factions.

I don't know if anyone besides TLWelker plays or plans to, but if they do and wanna find me, I'm on the Draenor server usually playing as an Orc Hunter called Nashkul. He's followed everywhere by a Velociraptor called Slash. I also have a Night Elf Druid I practically never use called Kae, and yes she is based on my character, Kae Hesnhin. The Druids can learn to shapeshift into animals and Kae herself can morph, so that's why I made a Druid based on her!

A let down in myself rather than the scuba itself.

It was in a forest and there were animals everywhere, Rabbits were a common sight and at one point I even saw a small deer! I also found out that savory stuff goes well with Pancakes, twice I had a pancake with various meat on it, and cheese! Very tasty surprisingly.

And on to other stuff-

Messages! Before I went I planned to read them all and look at all the deviations, but I didn't do as much of that as I had hoped. Now I'm at 228 messages (135D 3H 22C 63J5P)... yikes! I'll look at what I can and delete the rest, tell me if there's anything you want me to look at.

Dragon's getting a name change. It's a cool name but it's now seeming a little unimaginitive. The DA account will still be under the name Dragon-the-Tribrid and I'll still be using Dragon as my online alias (one of about three actually, my other two being Astraeos on the Games Workshop site and Elberad at the Last Alliance site) but the character is now called Inu-Ryu, meaning Dog Dragon.

Anyhting else to add? Try playing Kingdom Hearts for the PS2, it's a good game and has a lot of interesting quirks to it, I would never have guessed Donald Duck and Goofy would be so good in a fight!

Basically from Monday to Friday I won't be around 'cause I'm getting dragged on holiday to Center parcs (big leisure place for those who don't know). I wasn't keen on going 'cause my parents booked it during a week in college and although I'm ahead with my work, I just don't like the idea of having to miss a week so close to the end of the course. Knowing the tutor she'll have found something extra for me to do over half term (ask Slance, The DCE or Sonic hay, they'll tell you the same!).

I won't give out any story details but I think I can say this was a damned good film. Full of action and fight scenes, nothing less from what you would expect from a Super hero film really. It has it's share of surprises too, many of which I didn't see coming, and I'm sometimes described as someone who doesn't miss a thing! Kelsey Grammar was perfect as The Beast, and he was even hanging off the ceiling in one of the scenes he was in! Juggernaut was in it too, and he said "I'm the Juggernaut bitch!" Anyone who has seen the video on YouTube will laugh their asses off when they see that scene.

My only complaint really is the lack of Nightcrawler. Where was he? He was a main character in the last film and for some reason he's included in the movie game so this is confusing me. Also he's my favourite X-Man so no wonder I'm bringing this up, but there's probably some hardcore fanboy right now making a full blown rant about it.

And as for my own super hero, Nightmare, I've begun work on chapter four. EDIT- I'll probably go ahead and delete the journals and deviations, I don't have the time to look at them all even if I tried, and I learnt last time I wasn't able to. Once my course is over I'll have the time to keep up with the site better probably so hopefully it'll be a while before I have to do this again. Nightmare, yeah there hasn't been an update for the past few weeks. It's not that I don't have ideas, it's just I took some days of to try and do work on my project but just ended up slacking off. But only two or three people read that so there's been no uproar over the lack of chapters fortunately.

Emos, we've got one in our course, but he's very homosexual in his behaviour and mannerisms but he says he's straight. He once said to me "Oh, you're such a brag".
I have nothing against gay people, but he called my friends retards and there's been a war in the class since then. A few weeks ago, Sonic Hay I got into a bit of a clash with him. DCE passed him and muttered something about the Gay-Emo playing with a ball of string ,not doing his work and getting away with it, to this the gay-Emo yelled out "Shut up you fat fuck!" I wasn't taking any of this so I stood up and then Sonic hay did as wella nd we confronted him. Words were thrown back and forth including him accusing me of being French (dumb Emo) and eventually he used his catchphrase to try and end the clash in his favour. He said "Oh whatever, call me". Call me? that's the best he's got? I replied almost automatically "Call you what?". This was greeted by Slance laughing out loud and Sonic hay following up with "Tosser, gladly!". He said nothing else and sat down. Emo- 0 Dragon and Sonic Hay- 1.
I had been holding onto that "Call you what?" line for months! No straight guy goes around saying Call me to other guys, or spells cool with a 'k'.

EDIT- I've had some people tell me off for what I've said so I thought it through, I'll give the sub culture a second chance, but that still doesn't stop me from liking the person I mentioned. He called my friends retards and I see no reason to like him. I deleted what i said as it upset a few people.

In Karate today I had to wear a pad for these three young boys to punch. Doesn't seem so bad does it? However they were told to go gently but you know kids. They were punching it hard. One I can take but when it's in succession with a few seconds between punches it wasn't long before my wrist began to ache. I kept telling them to punch lightly, it was only training after all and not a proper fight but nope! I also tried to advise them on how to punch properly, but that was ignored too. One of them even told me that he was fourteen. That has nothing to do with it! Punching properly takes years to master, a lifetime even. No one who does martial arts or takes it seriously is aware of this but I have been told of a Martial arts master who on his deathbed regretted how he was only just learning how to punch properly. So not only was my wrist aching, but I had to watch as they punched with arms bent, heads looking at the floor and one foot off the ground. That 14 year old annoyed me as I told did mention he did some good punches. I bet none of them even have any idea karate (and martial arts in general) is more than just a fighting style and probably only want to learn it for just that. They're probably going to be chavs when they're older. Or assholes.

This morning I attended my karate seminar (Kyushindo Karate if you're interested) and after the two hour training session I was told I was now a yellow belt!

OH FUCKIN' YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not bad considering I have only been doing it since December last year, one of the blue belts said I had got my yellow belt quicker than he did. My feet felt really hot at the end of it and I could've gone on for another hour or so I felt.

In other news, I've decided that Kae's collar will be the folded down one, that seemed the most popular and I was going to do something similar for Dragon, but I took a good look at him and decided I was happy with how he is. I'm thinking of doing some promotional art for the series before I start it. Mainly so I have some up to date pictures of them to use for a title banner, and to give me time to think how I want to introduce characters such as Kamiko Thorn, Mothman, Eric the Licker (yes, he's one of those ceiling hugging things with the long tongues from resident Evil 2), and decide the other charatcers I want to be in it. Since 2003 I have created loads of characters (around 20, possibly 30) but none were really properly developed.

I've got two scripts ready and approved, but before I begin drawing them in their final version, I'm going to tweak the designs of Dragon and Kae slightly. Nothing major, just a little change here and there but nothing that will upset the overall look of the characters. Dragon will still have wings and Kae will still have that jacket so there's no need to panic about not being able to recognise charatcers you may already be familliar with.

And here's where you come in, I'm not great at making decisions like this on my own and so I usually like another's input. I'll be posting 'test' ideas of the small changes I plan for my two main characters as deviations and you lot can say which one you like best!

Later I'll be putting up a test of Kae's jacket collar as in the past it's had three different versions and I keep changing between them for some reason, but for the comic I'll be going for something a bit more permanent.

And with a new year come new things to wait for...

In Warhammer 40,000 the Tau are geting a new book and a load of funky new models, I particularly have my eye on commander Shadowsun and the new Vespid Stingwings... Dragon wants! Dragon wants! But first I should assemble and paint my existing Tau models. Shouldn't take long as they have a simple-ish look.

Filmwise, I can't wait to see Superman Returns, Spider-man 3 and X-Men 3. Yeah I like comic book superheroes.

As games go, there are two new games for the DS I have my sights set on, these two being the sequel to the insane love story Project Rub, The Rub Rabbits and the Resident Evil remake, Deadly Silence. I love the Resident Evil world and games, even though I don't get very far on them.

By the end of this year my hair should hopefully reach past my shoulders. If it does, then maybe I can convince Caz-Angel to put up a photo of me with long hair in her gallery so you can all see how sexy my hair will be, and unfortunately how grotesque I am.

Maybe I'll get round to writing a manga for Andrea or Dragon, but don't get your hopes up. Comic wise the best you'll probably see is random comics that probably contain jokes only a few people who know me IRL will get.

What else to type? Uh...

Every day a few more came so I would end the day with 90 and have another 100 the enxt day. I don't have the time to look at all those, even if I tried to spread it out so in the end I had to throw in the towel and delete the lot.
I didn't want to do it, but otherwise I wouldn't have been able to look at them all and they would only grow in number.

I would've liked to have done a picture, but the fact I have to surf on the laptop has put me off ding a picture to mark this day, the scanner being connected to the main computer and all. It was only yesterday that Caracal came up with a solution, but it's too late nnow.

Oh well, maybe I'll do one anyway later.

For a first year, I don't think it's been all bad. Sure I should've done loads more deviations (18 in one year? A bit poor really) but the ones I have submitted are pretty damned good (except for the ID picture and the scraps). I got to introduce my characters Dragon, Kae and recently, Andrea to people across the world and even managed to get an art trade with Fooly. But the thing I enjoy the most has been making friends with some very talented and awesome people. It's great having people view my work annd leave comments and help, and I love being able to see other's work and give my own help when it's needed.

Over this year I have tried new things, gotten to know people I may never meet in real life and even managed to get my sister to join!

So what's in store for the year ahead? I don't know, but I will like to try and submit more often and even get some photographs and fiction on. I can do more than draw y'know! And maybe even finish that Dark Elves pic I started, one year working o that on and off, if only I could get the darned whip right, I would've submitted it far earlier.

Anything else I wish to achieve? Well I would love to have Ame watch my account, and I would like to make some better pictures than this years, that should get me some more attention.

College, my new course has been going for a few weeks now and we don't have coursework (yay), we have projects. Nothing too bad, mainly drawing but slap the title of homework on it and all of a sudden I lose motivation. I've never been keen on homework, you spend most of the day at school or college doing work and then they give you some to do at home! Damnit! But I have plenty of spare time on my timetable so I can try and get work done then.

And as for the new people on my course, they're a nice bunch and it looks like this year is going to be fun. is on my course, the first person I know on both DA and in real life! I've also met a girl I like, now all I have to do is get to know her better and ask her out, how hard can it be?... <_< >_> Curse my lack of social skills...

DCE (who some of you may know from SoaH city) is also on the same course, although he was being an asshole the first two weeks but that problem is sorted and things are back to normal between us, which pleases me immensely as I wouldn't have been able to put up with a whole year of being treated the way he was treating me. I won't put up any details.

Outside of college...

My job still sucks and I've been collecting a few of the new warhammer Wood Elves, they're such gorgeous models I couldn't resist. I'm so weak willed around Games Workshop products.

Hopefully now my DA account will benefit slightly from my course, already I put up three (or two if you wanna get picky about coloured and uncoloured work) new pictures and with any luck I can get up off my ass and get some new deviations up. Maybe even that Dark Elf pic I started at the start of the year.

If there's anyhting bad about how things currently are, it's that I don't have the time to clean my rabbit out. But instead of the usual building, I'll be in another building that is part of the college but about twenty or so minutes away so if I have enough free time I could still visit that building and go down the high street for when I want to get the latest White Dwarf magazine or whatever.

New course, new building, new people. People, that's the first thing I'm a bit anxious about, the second being home/coursework. I'm not great with new people and having a mild form of autism doesn't help here and it takes me a while to get used to them but at times I have met people on new courses who have been very friendly to me and it helps when I meet people like that. It's also the girls I'm wondering about (typical male I hear some of you mutter). I've never had the best of luck in this area, the girls I like generally tend to already have boyfriends or somehow get one a day or so before I ask them out. I'm hoping for better luck this time, being single is beginning to get to me. I got led on about two or so years ago and I'm still trying to get over that, it ain't easy but I won't go on about this subject, it'll be too mushy and emotional.

I'm also wondering as it's a graphic design course I may be able to put some of my work on this DA account as it's beginning to look a little bare these days. It's not that I don't have ideas for pictures, it's just I never get around to doing them and the fact they don't seem to get much attention isn't exactly the most motivating thing in the world. Sure, for some people this would be but it doesn't seem that way to me.

No extra days at work for me! It's just my usual weekend shifts, 12 hour shifts mind you but still it's only two days a week.

Of course this means loads of spare time. Spare time I will probably end up wasting. I bought that new Carnifex model Games Workshop released recently, that should take some time up. I would go on about how cool the model is, but most people who may read this will have no idea what I'm on about.

I was planning a manga/graphic novel of my own but I thought I need more practice at comics, especially doing backgrounds. So to practice I'll probably do random comics now and then. My character, Dragon, is going to have one or two small modifications done, the first being the hair and redesigning the ears. A picture is already up of this, I'll do something with the wings next. Well now that college is over, I have no exams, no homework and no coursework to do, and unless the boss at the place I work at wants me working practically all the time through summer like last year, I have little to do.

Not that that's a bad thing, I've had plenty to do and with my parents away for the last two weeks I've pretty much had the option to finally be lazy and not think "Shouldn't I be doing something right now?". I'll probably use the free time to waste playing on my PS2, do pictures and hopefully get around to painting more of my miniatures, I have a model of Glorfindel from the Lord of the Rings that I've started but haven't yet finished, then after him I'll paint that Arwen model (also from Lord of the Rings) that I've had for years and then move onto that Mordor Troll or perhaps a hobbit? Probably the Hobbit as it's a small model and it should be quick to paint.

Got a few pictures planned. DCE has quit the TFS comic, says he's too busy for it so there won't be any more DCE TFS 50 comics unfortunately. I still have to fix the whip on that Dark Elf drawing I started ages ago then I'll try and colour that.
DCE asked me to draw his characters, DCE and Gina, like I drew Dragon and Kae. I also have an art trade with Fooly lined up so I have been practicing his character. Fooly's character isn't difficult to draw, but the hair can be slightly tricky.

Fooly will be pleased to know that another Kae pic is on the way, well a Dragon & Kae pic. I plan to colour this in photoshop as practice for that graphic Design course, and to add to a portfolio. That Dark Elf pic might get the same treatment.

When I get around to it, I'll be doing the next DCE TFS comic page, I have a bit more time now there's no more coursework to do, but Exams are only a few weeks away...

But after those are gone hopefully I'll have more time to do pictures and stuff that doesn't involve college.

Dusted vampire is no substitute for salt so don't try, take my word for it. Yech!

And as you sensible non-gullible types have probably figured, that never happened and I was just having a laugh. If you did believe all that, damn you are gullible.

In reality, I got a DS and Mario 64 DS. I later bought Project Rub (Feel the Magic XX/XY in America, I would die for you in Japan) and got into trouble when my dad came to see what I was yelling about. Project Rub should never be played when there are other people in the house.
I have been drawing, just not scanning and submitting. nearly finished that picture I said I would do for my friend Caracal and started a new pic of a dark Elf Beastmaster. I'm planning a fan art for Ame, but I want to do something original, it's all too easy to just send a pic of her dressed like a Resident Evil character. Been designing a high tech looking battle armour for her character, I might send a pic of that as fan art.

Yesterday I was down in the dumps, I over heard my dad saying I'm not good enough an artist to get a job involving art and drawing. Damn, my Dad is a professional artist and him saying something like that is just so... depressing. I found out Dr Pepper tastes different to what it tastes like over here in the UK. It's flavour is a bit more fruity in the US, I didn't really think it would taste any different, who would've thought that?
Almost half of the days were spent at one of the Disneyland theme parks, among the best rides were the Tower of Terror (At Disney MGM studios), Killimanjaro (I hope I spelt that right) Safari (At the Animal Kingdom), Dinosaur (also at Animal Kingdom), the haunted mansion (at the Magic kingdom) and Star tours (at Disney MGM).
Other than spend time at Disney, I also did stuff such as swimming in the pool, we were staying at a Villa. My two young cousins (at ages three and five) spent five hours in the pool on one of the days! I also watched the TV which isn't anything special but one thing that both confuses and annoys me is the frequency of the Advert breaks! There's one every five minutes it seems. First you get the opening credits, then an advert break, then there's some of the program, then another break, more program, then more break. It goes on until the program finishes, then there's another advert break, and after that one, it's the closing credits! It seems so pointless to me! Most programs over here only have one advert break if they're between twenty to thrity minutes long.
I also had Sushi. While at a shopping centre, I went to the food court and visited Maki's of Japan and ordered the Maki platter. No one told me what the sushi pieces were and it didn't say on the menu, only mentioned that there were two sushi rolls and four other bits that I can't remember what they were called. However on the platter itself in the corner was a green blob. It didn't look like fish but I ate it anyway as I had already eaten some of the other sushi and was enjoying it. BIG MISTAKE!!!
First up, I ate this thing in one bite. Whatever it was, it was among the hottest things I had ever tasted. It must've had a crapload of tobasco in it! That stuff was way hotter than any mustard I had ever tried. My eyes were watering and it was a wonder that I didn't spit the thing back up, it was wreaking havoc on my insides!
But this holiday wasn't all rides and green blobs, it rained on Christmas day while we were at a theme park. It wasn't a light shower or something we could tolerate. The rain was really dishing it out leaving puddles anywhere, anyone not wearing anything waterproof was soaked in a matter of seconds.

And somewhere in the middle of all this I drew three pictures, one of which I've nearly finished colouring, the other two may appear on this DA account, one for the scraps and one for the gallery. The coloured one will also appear in the gallery when it's finished. I also discovered that I like Inu Yasha (I bought one of the books out of curiosity for reading on my holiday) and managed to find the first volume in the airport on my way home as I had volume nine with me, it was the lowest number I could find at the time. What can I say? Mr OMA had got me curious about Inu Yasha. I also read a Hellboy graphic novel and got halfway through a Resident Evil novel called Caliban Cove, it's an original story.

I'm a potwash at this pub-restaurant place and I hate it! My weekends are spent from twelve in the morning to between 10.30-12.00 at night (it varies depending on how busy it is) washing dirt and filth off plates, cutlery, cooking tools and even the odd ice cream tub! Yes, I have to wash ice cream tubs at times. Why? Because they're useful for keeping stuff in and are used in cooking the baked beans, strange I know. The woiorst part is when everyone else leaves at night and I'm always the last to go. They help with some of the plates before leaving which I'm always thankful for, but after the washing I have to wipe the sides around my area, dismantle and clean the dishwasher parts, sweep the parts of the floor the chefs didn't sweep, then mop those parts! I'm also supposed to wash my bin too, but I can't always be bothered to do that.
But it has all paid off well, my PS2 and GBASP have been spoiled with games such as Sonic Heroes, WH40K Fire Warrior, Megaman X Command Mission Smackdown! Here comes the pain, Sonic advance 3, Super mario advance 4 (SMB3), Metroid Zero Mission and Megaman Battle Network 4.
And even better I have nearly 1500 points of a new Witch Hunters army for Warhammer 40,000 but I haven't painted most of the miniatures for them but the topping on the cake has to be paying for my Holiday. This must be the biggest thing I have bought in my life!

This also means that my DA account won't be updated during then, and unfortunately before then 'cause I have an assignment to finish before college
