This whole shebang was started by . I think I did this last year, too. Hur.

Step 1
Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple ("I'd love a LJ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa could get in touch with you.


Step 2
Surf around your friends list (or friend's friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

A white lab coat. For some reason, I really love those things. I've needed one for two costumes in the past that I borrowed, and I'd love to have one for myself.

Manga of my favorite series. The only ones where I want specific volumes [due to having most of them already] are Pumpkin Scissors [volume 5], The Law of Ueki [volume 11, 13,14, 15], and Monster [volume 1 at least]. Other series I like are Future Diary, Air Gear, and Tsukihime.

It'd be nice to get fanart of my characters even though I need to still get up good references of them.

It was boring, everything is shot in wangst-o-vision, and it drags on way too fucking long. I hate Twilight with a burning passion, but even if I didn't I would've hated this piece of shit. It had no redeemable qualities. AT ALL. I got so bored that I wanted to convince my mom to leave and sneak into Zombieland, and only about 30-45 minutes in, I turned on my MP3. It was so. Bad. I can't begin to describe how bad it was. Do not see it. You'll regret it. It wasted 2 and a half hours of my life.

I'm not usually one to bitch and complain about 'BAAAAAAW NOBODY EVER COMMENTS, BAAAAW' but for once it's actually bothering me. I can't say I expect people to comment all the time. I never did, but that isn't what's bothering me. What's bothering me is the fact that no one seems to really give a flying fuck when I update, whether it be journals (which are much more frequent) or deviations (which are rare, but by the end of the year will be more frequent). Am I saying "Comment or I'll leave, you assholes!!!1!!"? No. I'm not. I've never even considered leaving, or DEMANDING comments and stuff, that'd be both bitchy and narcissistic. I noticed that two people have dewatched me in the past. I won't name names here, but when something like that happens, I feel pretty shitty, like I did something wrong.

Just to reiterate, what's bothering me isn't the fact that I never get comments, I'm used to that. The only thing that bothers me is that no one even cares when I update, and it makes me think that no one even bothers to read when I update my journal.

A man who repeatedly reported an unusual emergency via a series of 911 calls has been arrested – operators apparently took a dim view of his insistence that someone be provided for him to have sex with.

The man, a resident of Florida, called emergency services 5 times requesting aid for his sexual emergency, but none was forthcoming and operators merely hung up on him.

15 minutes after making his last call, police called at his home and arrested him for making false calls to emergency services.

The man remains locked up without bail, and already has 12 arrests to his name for charges ranging from grand theft auto to assault and drug possession.

It seems emergency services the world over bear the brunt of human stupidity…

I'm probably not the only one who thought that was...extremely funny.

Anyhow, what's up? I've been having a satisfying day, although I still have Algebra homework to do. Art club was fun, and I'm actually writing a screenplay for a movie my friends and I hope to do. Yeah, I'm gonna use this real basic CSS, but I'm gonna draw some stuff and spruce it up. Hey, as long as I can do it, I should, right?

Anyway, I restarted Banjo-Kazooie last night. I'm at Treasure Trove Cove. I've also had this urge to watch Pumpkin Scissors. I wanna say, Pumpkin Scissors is one of the few genuinely great anime series, and I think that it deserves a chance even from non-anime fans. Nothing is too overly fantasy except maybe for Oland's lantern and the characters are well-rounded and likable. If I go on any more, I'll be keeping you here for days.

Anyhow, I'd also like to promote Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE Online: [link] It's more fun than a barrel of monkeys and I play it frequently. It's a fun, free MMO and the stuff you can pay for isn't even necessary for anything. I play under the name "Kushira", and the reason I'm promoting it like this is because very few of my friends play it. I'd like to have a posse team of friends I can form and pimp fight field bosses and go through dungeons with.

I saw Zombieland yesterday, and it inspired me. Inspired me to do what, you ask? Inspired me to start up a comic featuring me and my friends as the characters killing zombies. That's all there is to it.

Also, I'm not doing too great in terms of esteem in school, lately. I'm failing two of my classes (which I'll probably bring up soon) so even if I pass my parents are gonna probably yell at me for not working hard enough or some shit. So, I'm gonna have a...semi-hiatus. I won't be uploading anything or working on huge projects until my grades are improved, but I'll still be around here to browse. Whether or not I update my journals regularly will remain to be seen.

Also I love how you can use journal skins for free for a limited time now. It makes me happy that I can finally try it out. Makes me want a subscription even MORE. xD

Repo! The Genetic Opera
Repo! is my most favorite movie ever, if you didn't already know. It's not for everyone, but I still suggest giving it a chance. Every song is amazing and every actor is amazing as well. It moves at a steady pace, and nothing feels rushed. Since it's a rock opera, yes, almost all dialogue is sung and very little is spoken. Even so, there's a wide variety of music throughout the film, and gives people a lot of options to squeeze enjoyment out of it. If you can watch this, please do. It's amazing; don't listen to the critics who gave it bad reviews. They don't know what they're talking about.

Braindead/Dead Alive
This movie is nuts. Seriously. BUT! It's hilarious. If you can handle the goriest movie ever made, watch it. I found myself laughing the entire time when I saw it, and the lawnmower scene is one of the greatest, most epic moments in cinematic history. The amount of times Lionel has this wide-eyed expression on made me laugh, and some of the music creates a hilarious soundtrack dissonance.

Evil Dead 2
I've only seen Evil Dead 2 once, and despite the fact that it and Army Of Darkness are the only Evil Dead movies I've seen, it's my favorite one. I can't say I liked it more than Braindead, but it still has a great mix of horror and comedy. The exaggeration of blood and gore in this movie is hilarious to watch, and sometimes you can tell it's fake, or at least I could. If you still doubt me, watch these: [link] [link]

I loved everything: the gore, the characters, the splatstick, everything. Did I like it more than Evil Dead? Actually, yes. I did. I love Evil Dead but as a movie I liked Braindead a lot more for some reason. I will say that as a character Lionel Cosgrove comes really close to being as awesome as Ash Williams. The reason Ash takes the cake here is because Lionel takes almost the entire movie to become a badass. Ash is pretty much a badass from the beginning.

Anyway, my favorite scenes in Braindead were the lawnmower scene, which kicked ass, the scene with the kung-fu priest...actually I loved every scene, although the one that I found the most gross to watch was when Lionel's mother's ear falls into the pudding and she eats it. Gore, I can handle, but for some reason that just grossed me out.

I don't know anymore, all I can say is that if you can handle the goriest movie ever made, watch Braindead. Please.

Yeah the title once again draws you in, I am a MASTER OF SUSPENSE. Anyway, tonight's the night and I can hardly wait. To recap, I'll be going over to a friend's house for Halloween, and we're gonna watch BRAIN DEAD, play BioShock in the dark, and then play Left 4 Dead. I'm especially excited, though in retrospect maybe it would make more sense to watch Evil Dead, but since I've seen Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, never BRAIN DEAD, it's more worth my time.

I also watched Repo for the umpteenth time today. I bawled my eyes out at the end like always. I also screwed around in SMT Online at Shibuya Quartz, taking random screenshots. And in Half-Life 2 I'm at Ravenholm but due to courage issues I turned on God Mode since Headcrab zombies pop up EVERYWHERE in that place.

I'm thinking I'm gonna go fight Destroyman today, before I go.

I think the main thing for me is the recent obsession just about everyone on DA and possibly in other places have had with 9. Consider this a mini-review, I guess, but although I liked it, I thought that it just...lacked something. The characters had very appealing designs, voices, and the animation was wonderful, but doesn't anyone else think that there was a serious lack of character development? Maybe it's stupid to talk about it so long after it's come out, but I was meaning to get around to saying this stuff anyway. Anyway. Like I said, there was something it lacked, and good character development was one of those things. Seriously. The viewer is never treated to seeing them change, if you ask me. They just kind of stay the same throughout the film. One other problem I had was the ending. It just kind of...stopped.

Now, don't get me wrong. I did like the movie. But there are so many people going "It's a PG-13 animated movie! FINALLY!" [though I have no doubt that parents STILL took their small kids to see it] When honestly, it would have been a more 'true' milestone in animation if the two points I brought up were fixed. I've heard the argument that a movie with more characters means character development is harder, but I've seen plenty of movies that did that. Character development, in my opinion, is one of the most important things in a work of fiction.

Again, this is only my opinion. Also, I only saw it once, so my memory of other things might not be clear. But, it still stands. People have different opinions, and never once did I flat out say I hated it.

Okay, last thing. You know how I said I was making a visual novel? I scrapped the Doktor's Office prequel one because it wasn't going anywhere, and now I'm making a standalone one (not based on my many storylines) that I'm going to attempt to have by Christmas, so that anyone who wants to play it, can. I want it to be a surprise, too, so I'm not going to reveal anything on DA about it.

The visual novel in question is one based on my storyline Doktor's Office and is set 10 years prior to the beginning of Story 1. So, it's the year Rechner slaughtered everyone, but you don't play as Rechner. You play as another employee who shows up and depending on your choices, becomes one of her subordinates. It'll have separate paths, like Tsukihime, but the only one with multiple endings is the Rechner path, which isn't even romantic like the others. For future reference, the Rechner path is the one you have to take for the true ending, and I may or may not make it obvious what path you're on. Almost every character featured will not be in the comic itself, except perhaps the protagonist, Rick, since he's one of Rechner's subordinates.

You're so hyped, I'm sure, but it'll probably take a while to figure out how to make 6 freaking paths. It'll be worth it, though.

Anyway, I'm still stumped for ideas, though I'm feeling less sick as of late. I've gotten farther in Persona 4, though, and jeebus I need Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga, NOW. I've probably said this before, but I want to play as many Shin Megami Tensei games as humanly possible. I hope and pray to god that they bring Persona 2: Innocent Sin to the US at some point. But, since I can't get DDS until I get a job and some money, that dream will have to wait. Mayhaps I should also beat Devil Summoner tonight, as I have been intending to do.

Kira
1: I took the name "Kira" from Death Note. At first, she didn't have a name, but then I decided on Kira, because it seemed fitting for a woman trying to take over the world.
2: I needed someone to be the leader of the organization, Disaster. Thus, Kira was born.
3: At first, she was a man and had no name or identity. Later, I decided to make her a war hero woman with much charisma who wants to take over the world. I was actually going to make her Riko's mother, hence her weird hair (green bangs and white hair), but it never really stuck since it would be the biggest cliche ever.
4: She's got a sauna in the organization for private use, and she led the battallion that won the most important battle of the machine war.

Nobuyuki
1: I looked through a list of Japanese names in my borderline weaboo days. I found this name. It stuck and I don't want to change it because I'm sentimental.
2: THE DOCTOR FROM THE ANIME BLACK CAT FUCKING INSPIRED ME OK. I needed a head scientist for the organization, and Black Cat was my obsession at the time, as was the Doctor. Henceforth, Nobuyuki came into existence.
3: It used to be that he was just the head scientist. Now he's that and the second-in-command/Chief Of Medical Staff. It also used to be that Nobuyuki was his given name. I decided that it's now an alias he came up with to compliment Kira's name [which may or may not be an alias].
4: He's a damn trickster and he's obsessed with immortality. If he wasn't a trickster he wouldn't have been able to fool Demi into joining. Also, he was a teacher at a university before joining up with Kira.

Juno Aleit
1: It was Persona 3. Juno is Fuuka's evolved Persona, and Aleit is the German form of Adelaide. Since Juno is German, I wanted her to have a German-sounding name.
2: Before I played Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs The Soulless Army, I downloaded the soundtrack, fawned over the game, and loved Victor's design. The mad scientist vibe just...worked. I decided right then to make a mad scientist, fitting most of the stereotype.
3: There's...not really anything that's changed. Juno has been more or less the same.
4: She's BFFs with Nobuyuki.

Demi
1: A really long time ago, I had a friend who was named Demi. I haven't spoken to her for a long time, though.
2: She was originally a mental patient for a comic that never got off the ground.
3: She was, at first, madly in love with and loyal to Nobuyuki. I've decided now to make her hate his goddamn guts. She also used to be the 'sexy nurse' type, but I quickly scrapped that.
4: Her hair is naturally pink.

Teo
1: This one time, I was watching Black Lagoon on my MP3 player, and there was a guy named 'Leo', which I misread as Teo. Lo and behold, about two years later I give a character that name.
2: Teo exists to be in hell. He's basically Juno's slave, and does whatever she says without exception. Basically, Juno needed a buttmonkey assistant that was a failed experiment.
3: Nothing's changed. He's still the butt of everyone's jokes.
4: He has to wear a ribbon in his hair because Juno says it looks pretty.

The Seven Deadly Sins
1: Nowadays everyone and their mother has characters based off the sins. I wanted a more original approach, so instead of humanizations of the sins (which wouldn't fit into the story anyway), I just decided that their sin name would be randomly selected by Kira. That's it. No reason for it.
2: I got inspired by Black Cat, again. The concept of the Chrono Numbers, specifically. I liked the idea of an elite assassination team with a different special weapon.
3: At first, they were just an assassination team, and it was made up completely of women. Recently I decided to genderbend Envy, Wrath, and Pride to add some diversity. Everyone else more or less stayed the same.
4: They don't really display the sin they're named after, since everyone has bouts of them anyway.

Why did you join this site?
I wasn't really influenced by other people's pages when I first joined. I remember joining of my own accord three years ago and never doing anything, then I found out that some of my friends had one. After that I became much more active.


What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
A long time ago, I was on a Tales Of Symphonia messageboard, and I came up with the name "Dragon Commando". My idea was, a kind of guerrilla commando riding around on a dragon. I was 12 then. It kind of became my default username after that, but recently I'm feeling that it sounds a bit kiddish. The name "Krai" is a Dutch word meaning crow. I saw it somewhere, and I thought it sounded pretty cool, and since I pronounce stuff wrong, I pronounce it like "cry" instead of like "cray", which is what I hear people constantly pronounce it as. I like pronouncing it my way, because I can make the pun "KRAISUMMOARZ".

What is your current icon of?
The Team Fortress 2 image for the medic achievement "You'll Feel A Little Prick". I'm working on joint avatars themed after Persona 4 for me and a few friends, but I'm currently failing at drawing Naoto. I'm gonna be having Teddie though, so my current icon is a placeholder.

I've got 17 watchers. I never really expected to be popular or anything, so really my watchers are pretty much just my friends and a couple straddlers, I guess you could say. I watch 36 people. I actually stopped watching a bunch of people recently because I lost interest in their work (no offense) and kind of wanted less deviations messages about that sort of stuff.

I rarely comment because I can rarely get what I honestly think out there in the way I want. When I see things like "If you fave without commenting, (insert horrible thing here).", the person saying that comes off as kind of a jerk. I don't understand why they can't be satisfied that someone likes their work and wants to look at it again and again. Really.

We went bowling, sat in the cafe and ate whilst discussing lulzy stuff, and then we went to the arcade to screw around.

~Artenuga54 failed so hard at bowling, it was hilarious. He kept getting gutter balls, and I made a balls joke every two seconds, but knowing me that shouldn't be so surprising. I was pretty beast the first few rounds, but near the end I was made of fail. I came in third place. Also, it wasn't until we had already put our names into the machine that we realized we should have named ourselves off Persona 4 or Digital Devil Saga. I would have made my name Teddie. Or maybe Namatame. Or Argilla. Either way it was pretty awesome. I kept trying to use my PSYCHIC POWARZ to get a good score, but in the end it was futile. OTL It was fun, though.

The arcade was boss. I don't feel like going into too much detail, but I hit the jackpot on one game and Trey got the 1000 on Wheel of Fortune. I'm gonna save up my points so that one day I get the 30,000 point Xbox 360. Someday...

AFTER we had exhausted our cards, though, was when things REALLY got lulzy. We took a bunch of random pictures, but most of them are stupid and just me taking pictures of myself upside down and from different angles.

I don't know why, but for some reason I keep putting it off. OTL Even though Rechner is my favorite out of all my OCs, I haven't even drawn a single page. Come to think of it, I still have to rework the chapter 1 script...I'm not too proud of how it looks right now. I suck at scripting. Still, I think the reason I've been putting it off is because I'm having thoughts about doing Madhouse of Healing first, just because a kind of "different joke/scenario every week" format seems less stressful. Disaster will probably be put off until I'm able to draw elaborate backgrounds and have a better eye for detail. I still love the characters, but for now I'll just do development stuff, since everything about it keeps changing lately. I want Disaster to be a comic with a coherent plot, that goes on for a while. A comic about an organization in the year 3000 trying to take over the world would have to last a long time to tell the whole story, if you ask me.

Well, in other news, me, my brother, and my dad are supposedly gonna go see Zombieland tomorrow. Honestly, the premise of "using anything you can find to kill zombies" makes me think of Dead Rising. That's a good thing, by the way, because I love Dead Rising; did you know it's the only game that ever made me like a rap song?

In other news (and this is a BIG one), I went to GameStop after school today, and guess what they had. DIGITAL DEVIL SAGA. Let me repeat: DIGITAL FUCKING DEVIL SAGA. And guess what else? I'm broke! It was $35, and despite me wanting it SOOOOO badly, I can't get it. It was the last copy, too! I just KNOW someone will get it before I do. Maybe I'll finally get it sometime in the future, along with Nocturne.

See, ever since like, 7th or 8th grade, I've been getting nothing but A's, B's, and C's. My history grade is a 77 right now, but there are some grades that haven't been put in. Unfortunately, though, I haven't had many ideas lately. It sucks. For some reason, I can't get my thoughts onto paper without being completely dissatisfied halfway through. Anyone got any ideas I can use? Some pose refs, anything.

Speaking of art...this weekend my dad is gonna take me to open a bank account. I discovered that PayPal is compatible with bank accounts last night, so I thought to myself: "Hey, if I can use my bank account with PayPal, then once I get more stuff on DA I can take commissions!" Though, I somehow doubt anyone would actually pay me to draw stuff. OTL

Anyhow, I started writing something new. And it's about vampires. To be specific, a vampire prostitute and a vampire drag queen. For some reason...a vampire prostitute just made sense.

Also I finished watching Paranoia Agent on Sunday. That series is brilliant, and I highly suggest watching it. The opening will get stuck in your head and you will feel sorry for just about every character by the end.

The other day, after Church, I went out with my mom and we went to TGI Fridays. We don't have one near our house, unfortunately, so we went like 10 miles to go to the one near Fry's. I love TGI Fridays, I wish there were Bennigan's around though.

Anyway, after we ate, my mom took me to some clothes stores, and I used the chance to look for pieces for my TF2 costumes. So, henceforth, I found my Scout pants. Only now, I've realized I screwed up royally picking out the proper ones. OTL They're supposed to be black or a dark shade of gray/brown and I was dumb enough to get a pair of knee-length tan slacks that are comfortable and probably convincing enough, but I am a stickler for detail so I try to be as PERFECT AS I POSSIBLY CAN on this sort of thing. That aside, my costume is now .5% done. Hooray. I'm so glad I've still got over a year left. Come to think of it, I still need to finish filling out that Hobby Lobby application I picked up. I also need to play No More Heroes. Why I haven't, I'll never know.

Also. Ideas. I have very little of them. I'm working on a character lineup for Madhouse Of Healing, but I'm thinking about restarting on like 2 of the characters on it (one is already finished, and I'm actually satisfied with it, another hasn't even been drawn) because I realized the proportions turned up being shit when enlarged. Or at least I thought the proportions looked like shit. I need to start building up more confidence in my work.

The only logical choice is Nobuyuki, honestly. Aside from Mack, who is a separate personality of a woman, and Maler, a pedophile, it's the only one that makes sense. Although, all three would look weird, considering they're all over 26.

Out of my 50+ characters, I have way more women than I do men. I can't count, but after genderbending Envy into a man, as well as Pride (both of whom are not listed), as well as making three of the four protagonists in Doktor's Office boys, I'm getting more and more gender diversity.


7) If you were stuck in a burning building what do you think the third OC (Irene) on your list would do?
Probably fail at saving me and wangst about it when the firemen did it instead.

I kinda regret at first giving Alcyone a very revealing outfit. I think it made her seem more like a slut, when she really truly isn't. Fortunately, I changed it recently.

Alcyone. I don't know, she just seems like the kind of person who would be a good parent. She likes kids.

Well, my parents went out of town to Las Vegas yesterday due to their anniversary coming up soon, and my little sister is staying at her friend's house. So, basically, for the next 2 days, it'll be just me and my brother. No brat to annoy us, just lulz, I guess.

Anyway, I'm really determined to start my TF2 costumes soon. I'm thinking that tomorrow, after school, I'm going to drop by Hobby Lobby to get an application. Without an allowance [thanks, jerkass parents] I'm going to need a paycheck to pay for materials, most of which I've already found and just need to buy. Mainly online, but who's going to care? Unfortunately, though, the pattern I intend to use for the Medic's jacket is download only, so I need my mother's help with that. In case you forgot, here's my plan [I will be getting a weekend pass]:

FRIDAY: RED Engineer

SATURDAY: RED Medic

SUNDAY: RED Scout

MONDAY: RED Sniper

If you ask me, Engineer and Scout are the easiest ones anyone can do. It'd be nice if I could make a scattergun, but that remains to be seen. In regards to Medic, I will for sure have a bonesaw, but I'm not sure about making a medigun. It depends on how long it takes to get the rest of the costume together. Sniper's probably going to be expensive, though; in any case, I sincerely hope I can manage to make a Sniper Rifle, which would be boss.

Anyway, now for good news. I went to AnimeFest on Saturday with my friends , , and some of my other friends who don't have DAs as far as my knowledge goes. Still, I freaking loved it. I didn't spend too much money, but wearing my Repo! The Genetic Opera T-shirt was most certainly the right thing to do. I didn't see the Repo Man who supposedly was there, but I did get noticed by a guy in a SWEET Graverobber costume, carrying a dead body and everything, and got handed a flier for a Repo shadow cast in Dallas. I need to go to that, I really do.

Anyway, seeing all the amazing cosplayers made me decide to try and get a weekend pass next year, and have 3-4 costumes, all TF2 classes, which will go like this:
Friday: Engineer
Saturday: Medic
Sunday: Scout
Monday: Sniper

All RED team, and I've already started looking for the supplies for the Medic costume, the hardest of which was to find the right kind of gloves I needed. But in any case, I need to get a job so that I have some income to make everything, as well as buy the gloves, boots, pants, and stuff. I've already made lists of the pieces for each costume, and since I have exactly one year at this point, I've decided to get an EXTREME head start.

First of all, it's that I've never really taken realism or even pseudo-realism very seriously, just kind of brushing it off and going along with stylization. But, considering how this year I'm going to be in Drawing III, I think I need to broaden my horizons and experiment in different fields.

Where did this come from? Well, in my Drawing II class last year, sometimes I could hear one of the people at my table talking behind my back, saying things like "Oh, she always draws that...anime stuff." It was never directly said to me, probably because I drown everything out with earphones, but when the volume was down, I could tell. I don't know why I haven't thought about it until now, honestly. I've set up my statement I want to give to my teacher, too, especially since she was also my teacher last year and will probably be understanding. What sort of statement? Something along the lines of: "You probably noticed last year that I usually draw, y'know, anime and the like. I intend this year to go into other...territories more seriously."

Or something like that. With any luck, I'll do some realistic stuff for practice soon, but really just something simple, like still life or taking an anime character that already exists and attempting to transition it to realism. Just for practice, because I think it would be for the best.

In other news, last week or so I borrowed Persona 4 from my friend. I LOVE it, [though not as much as Persona 3] and I'm already past Naoto's Shadow! Teddie, Kanji, and Chie have ended up being my favorite characters so far, but Rise....grrr. She annoys the fuck outta me. Her voice, her personality, even just her dialogue!

Oh, and I got the King's Quest Collection last week as well! I've only really played King's Quest V, and I'm at Mordack's Castle, in the Labyrinth. I'm...hesitant to continue, honestly. I mean, I can get through the labyrinth, no problem [with a map], but once I get inside of the castle itself... I'm kind of ashamed to admit that the blue beast that comes OUT OF NOWHERE, and that can appear ANYWHERE, scares the living shit out of me.

I started playing Mad World this morning, for one thing, and as I expected, it's damn awesome. Nothing beats shoving two signposts into a guy's head who has had a tire shoved over him before hurling him into a dumpster with spikes and having the top close, slicing him in half. Good old violence. Where would we be without it?

Plus, I started playing No More Heroes on Bitter [Hard] mode the other day, and fought Shinobu this afternoon. It took me two tries, and had I not had the best energy reserver I would have been trying for much longer than that. Next up is Destroyman, woo.

The only other things I did today was draw and watch oodles of Princess Resurrection. I love that show, and incidentally, I can't wait to play BioShock again tomorrow.

True, my scanner doesn't work at all, and I have no references for my characters, but since I'm going over to my friend's place tomorrow, I'll be able to use a scanner and therefore, I can get refs up soon, huzzah.

I've got a few things I need to say about trades, though. First of all, I reserve my right to turn an offer down. Also, don't get disappointed if mine is less-than-stellar, I'm constantly bashing myself for things like that on my own, and I'm always trying my very, very hardest to improve.

A more pressing matter, though, is my scanner problem, which means that my half of the trade could turn up being delayed. You may also like to know that fan art is not really my strong suit, and I would very much prefer to draw original characters/fan characters. Trust me, whenever I attempt fan art, the result is horribly off-model.

Well, with all of that out of the way, please note me if you would like to do a trade! Also, as a side note, I will do maybe two at a time so as to not clog up my time.

I just had a piece after eating a Turkey Sandvich. All that hit the spot, and hit it good. I intend to start playing MadWorld today, I played it with my brother once, and it was crazy fun, so I'm gonna try my hand at single-player mode. The commentary by John DiMaggio and Greg Proops is just hilarious. Those guys are intelligent.

Anyway, I'm considering opening myself up for art trades, but I'm not sure, since I have to rely on my friend to be able to scan anything. I think it'd be fun, and I've never done one before. I guess we'll see.

Just like Evil Dead 2, Army of Darkness is on demand now. Bruce Campbell is a god among men, seriously, and I don't think I ever really gave a full opinion on my thoughts about Evil Dead 2, so I'll do it now. I thought that the clear B-movie value of it was awesome, and it was groovy. The scene where Ash slices his own hand off while going "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW" was epic. I really don't know where I'm going with this, though, but the bottom line is that it's made me more interested in watching Horror movies as a whole.

The other day, I went to my friend's place, since he got back from Comic-Con in San Diego. While he was there, he took a bunch of pictures, and got me the first Princess Resurrection DVD Collection, with episodes 1-13. Unfortunately, the first collection doesn't have English dub, but I can live with that. It's where I left off and I was watching it in Japanese anyway. Maybe they'll have a re release of it with English dub at some point.

Also, while I was over there, I started playing the original Dead Rising, and I did that stuff on the first day with Kent, but later, I got killed by zombies! I hadn't saved AT ALL, so I would have had to start from THE BEGINNING had I not just said "Screw this, I'll do it next time."

Guess who just got back from her FCUKING AWESOME VACATION. I DID. And you're probably wondering why I'm so frigging happy, right? Well, I'll tell you. Over the vacation. I got Repo. On DVD. Coincidentally, I was at a record store with my dad today, and the place sucked. It was filthy and disgusted me, there were maybe 60 different pornos hanging on the walls. Yeah. All Sex Hentai and Edward Penishands were the only ones I remembered, but I was still extremely disgusted and wanted to just walk back to the car. They had no good music there, either.

I don't think I can sum up in words how happy I am to have finally seen Repo. It's my new favorite movie and I cannot wait to finally get a chance to watch it on our big TV. I also don't think I can sum up my entire vacation right now, because it's late and my dad will yell at me to go to bed.

Oh, hi.

I started playing The Sims 2 today, and yeah, I'm aware that Sims 3 is out. Unfortunately our computer won't be able to support it. Or BioShock, for that matter, but for the latter I intend to get it no matter what, even if I have to get a new video/graphics card. Anyway, I made two families so far, the Harris family, consisting of Jimmy and her unintroduced brother Christopher (and two parents made up on the spot), and the Walker family, that consists of Dustin, a main character in Doktor's Office, and Elena, one of my Bully OCs (plus two parents, also made up on the spot). Since they have the same last name and essentially the same hair color, I decided to put them in the same family because I didn't want to make a million consisting of only one of my characters and their parents.

In other news, I am EXTREMELY obsessed with seeing Repo! now. Like, to the point that I'm looking up reviews, tropes, and various other things that just torture me. After seeing Tropic Thunder today (my fourth R-rated movie) I decided that I will see Repo! no matter what. I intend to dive headfirst into it, and I haven't heard a single one of the songs yet. Somehow, that seems a bit crazy, but I want to get blown away, hearing the music for the very first time. I have this...sneaking but unconfirmed suspicion that my friend, whose house I am going to tomorrow, has rented it off Netflix to watch after hearing me obsess about it to no end. Maybe I'm getting my hopes up, though, since my suspicions are very rarely ever correct. But, it still makes me feel positive, since it's a slight possibility that I might see Repo! before I even turn 17, which was the time I had intended to see it.

Well, I guess we'll see how that turns out. Unfortunately, I have had a serious lack of inspiration lately, and I can't really draw anything halfway decent without getting frustrated and throwing it out. With any luck I'll have at least something to scan tomorrow. Well, even if that doesn't work out, I'll still have another chance to play BioShock, AKA the second best game ever next to Persona 3.

On Devil Summoner, I'm still going after Beelzebub. Unfortunately it's too late to do the fast level up trick at Waden One (fighting a Nebiros and having it call for reinforcements as many times as necessary to rack up EXP) since I'm on the last episode. However, even though it takes longer, there are Nebiros in the Training Hall that call Ghouls and Ukobachs. They might give less EXP each, but I did it once and got 3000 EXP after about 10 minutes. If I went on for longer than that, much longer, I could probably get over 20k or so just fighting extremely weak enemies over and over. It'll be monotonous, but worth it once I get Beelzebub, especially considering it's the best demon in the game.

I have fairly good news. Friday (i.e. tomorrow) I'm gonna be able to use a scanner again, courtesy of my very good, very generous friend, even though I have been encountering too much fracking art block lately. It sucks, but I resolve to get over it before tomorrow fffff. Mainly, I've been trying to work out concepts for Doktor's Office and other storylines, but I haven't worked out any more rough layouts for it and it sucks. I haven't even been playing Devil Summoner, I'm on the last episode but I've decided to get Beelzebub before I beat the game because Beelzebub is honestly my favorite demon in the MegaTen Franchise, even though Persona 3 and Devil Summoner are the only two Megaten games I ever played; which ties into my goal of getting as many Megaten games as I can to ENRICH my gaming knowledge.

I'm particularly excited that they're making a movie out of Monster, which I recently started reading/watching. I am going to go see it without exception. On the opening day if possible. I have high hopes for it and my money is on it being good. On a different note, I hope they end up making the BioShock movie, too. The Shadow of the Colossus movie, though...it's extremely likely that it's going to suck, they'll probably add more characters and just botch the whole freaking thing. There's only a .00000001% of it not sucking, if you ask me, but maybe I'm being a little too harsh. My opinion still stands though.

I suddenly have this interest in seeing Repo! The Genetic Opera. I've heard a lot of good things about it even though the big critics hate it, and that you either love it or hate it. I don't usually get so hot-blooded about movies, but in this case I'm very hooked and very interested. Since I turn 17 December 12, I'll probably have seen it by the end of the year. I guess I'll see if I love it or hate it, but considering how positive I am about it now, it'll probably be the former.

I'll also use some time to promote a not well known manga that I read all in one go at 11:30 one night and loved: Doubt. I can safely say that Doubt has some of if not the best suspense and plot twists I ever saw. I couldn't just stop in the middle and read it the next day, I had to know what happened then. I won't spoil, because it's way too good to be spoiled, but by the end I was going "....DUDE. I NEVER EXPECTED THAT." I highly suggest giving it a read. It's short with only 20 chapters, and well worth your time.
