Home schoolers get breaks too....but not if we start late.

ANYWAY...

What are we thankful for this thanksgiving?

I'm thankful for my friends _{(Reikan, Alex, 2021, Neon, Solar...and all of the others who are nice to me!)}
Luke, even though he's a little chewing devil _{(that dog won't sit still)}
My parents lasting yet another year in the trails of stupid arguments _{(Its always over stupid small stuff, oh dad your such a baka sometimes~ Its becoming hilarious~)}
Being alive _{(no life threatening stuff happened)}
and came visited for 2 whole weeks! _{(You should've seen that one coming}

But mostly, I'm thankful I've had my grandfather for as long as I have. For this time next year he likely won't be around, but thats just my uncles guess. Lots can happen.

Going to my grandparents next Thursday, I'll be able to spend time with him then. I'll get to see other family as well, for the first time since freaking January...

I'm not sure if two of my cousins will be there...ones in the Navy, or will be in a month once he finishes boot camp, and then...I'm not sure if the other will be in the Navy or Air-force...

Considering we're always, or usually the first ones there, I'll end up being bored since I usually don't know what they talk about. I will be taking my sketchbook and scribble stuff down. Can I even still draw with a pencil? I've been so tablet obsessed.

Don't you just hate how the journals I type are always longer then a 2 minute read?

I've been making chocolate candies the past few days, quite fun (for me). Candy molds in the shape of snowmen, they look almost store bought! Only taste better :3
I spent 3 hours today making just two trays of it, you can paint inside the molds with different colors, so much fun for me!

Artistic painting....that you can eat! <3 YUM!

I have alot of chocolate to make for next Thursday. I can't wait to see all the smiles it brings <3 It may take 3 or more hours to make a single tray, but smiles from others makes it worth it.

Anyway.

I've fixed up my gallery.
I've put some pictures in their respectful folders, and added some new.

New folder, "Seasonal Pictures". I will start doing pictures that have to do with the seasons and holidays.

And my picture "Chao Love" is...GASP....no longer the featured and pride of my gallery!? How can this be!? ......Take a look at my page and see whats taken its place as my #1 picture :3

Also. My best time of drawing ever was September 2007, according to dA's statistics on my gallery. I want to beat that, so badly D:

Dad got anger out of thin air, break stuff outside...and then when me and mom came out to tend to our chickens (to clip the wings so they'll stay in the fencing). Dad told mom he wanted a divorce...

Just like the typical me, I instantly got scared and said something to take the rage from mom and aim at me...didn't work....

Its still looming in the air, though they say they won't depart.

Dad came in a few minutes ago and apoligized to me for saying things he shouldn't have that were cruel to say to me.

He can be such an asshole sometimes.....but I still love him.

Now I can't stop the tears...I can't breathe through my nose...

Why'd this have to happen.....

So...yeah....mom walked in while I was in the middle of typing a "my life is shattered my parents are divorcing" journal and told me it wasn't happening and to erase what I typed....still felt like I needed to tell someone.

So...there ya go....another sad story from me...

I know what your thinking, "People get divorced every day, why should I care about yours?".


Finally the tears are stopping and my face is getting dry....yay for sharing....I'm...gonna go draw out my feelings....

So I went to friends house and when I got back, val-la, the internet was fixed.

Now all 3 computers have internet again, and I can happily set my status to away and not have to sign out. YAAY.

And I get on moms and play ZOMG! on GaiaOnline with again!

I'm so haaappyyy now~ I don't have to hear crap about my computer being sloooow.

Would it be easier to just buy a new computer instead of buying 5 other parts and putting them in a computer thats crap?

And mom says I do things the hard way...yeah right.

But when dad told me what he was gonna do, I just laughed inside my head. I knew it wouldn't work, something as joyious as a new computer is something that I'll never get, not from him anyway.

And he still says it'll be the fastest computer in the house.
I just can't believe that at this point.

The cables for the internet came today, so who knows what kind of crap is going to happen now.

Okay, so I don't exactly fit in with the world.
I have special people that love me for who I am, not what I do, I hope they do anyway.

Lately it seems thats all alot of people like me for (not you guys, other people not on deviant, more so offline people). They hardly ever talk to me unless I've done some new wonderful picture for the class newspaper. Then again I don't really speak myself, I'm like Clara in reality almost, only I don't say "baka".

Okay. So about last week, oh, I'd say Thursday or Friday, our internet router died. This allows our 3 computers to have internet without being wired up to a box.

Now, I would just go to Wal-Mart or some electronic store and buy a new one.

But NO. Dad didn't want to take an hour of his time in total to go out and guy a new router that is guaranteed to work. NO, HE HAD TO GO ONTO EBAY USING MY SLOW COMPUTER, AND BUY A USED ONE WITH A SCRATCHED UP PROGRAM DISK THAT DOESN'T WORK! HOW STUPID DO YOU HAVE TO BE!?

I had a friend once told me to not buy used electronics off the internet.

HELL, dad could've just given ME the money and I WOULD'VE BOUGHT A NEW ROUTER AND THIS WOULD BE FIXED BY NOW!

Does he personally ENJOY pissing me off!? He called this morning and I answered, and he told me over the freaking PHONE "You'll have to share your computer for about a week"

WHAT THE HELL!? WHAT DO YOU THINK I'VE BEEN DOING ALL WEEKEND!? ARE YOU GOING TO KICK ME OFF MY COMPUTER EVERY TIME I START TO DRAW SOMETHING!?

Seriously, like last night I was drawing with my tablet. Now, it normally takes me about 1-2 hours to sketch out the basic picture if I have no major distractions or parents bugging me.

Was I able to finish? No, I didn't even get the heads of the two characters done, because every 15 minutes dad would come in and bug the hell out of me, asking me to look up this and that on ebay, and then he kicked me off, TWICE, no, THREE TIMES.

HAVE YOU DONE THIS STUPID MOVE JUST TO ANNOY ME!? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I'M REALLY HATING YOU RIGHT NOW, DAD!?

And he bought a new motherboard for my computer a few days ago, and says it should make my computer faster. After today I bet its gonna crash my computer.

I'm to the point I don't trust dad with my computer, I'm either keeping an eye on him or if I can't, mom does for me.

Why? Last time dad was left alone with a computer, he crashed it, and it took all my stuff along with it. It was heartbreaking. Though that was years ago. Work is work ya know? No matter how good the drawings are, loosing it can hurt.

so I'm putting all the new stuff on my lovely JumpDrive so all my pictures and files will be safe.

I'm not ticked off because I have to share my computer, I share it with my mom all the time.
I'm ticked off because what dad has done and is still doing is REALLY STUPID. Its like he ENJOYS being a pain!

Not to mention I could live without him cussing every 4 words >_> Its beginning to rub off on me and I'm starting to use more language. I could VERY FREAKING HAPPILY LIVE WITHOUT HIM SAYING THAT CRAP.

But anyway, I woke up and dad was in the kitchen with the internet router, and told me it doesn't work anymore, which makes sense, we've had it for about 2 years now.

So, we are without full internet, meaning my computer is on the land line and all 3 of us will be using it until the new router arrives.

Just letting you know, because I probably will hardly be on this weekend if thats the case.

Dad got a job, YAAAAAAAY!!!
But sadly he isn't enjoying it.....typically FIGURES.

Stuff art wise.......
I am experimenting with some different styles of coloring in photoshop, which you should have seen in the last two pictures. The hair shine, and eye style.
I may create some pictures purely for testing out some things in photoshop, I'm trying to expand beyond the simple stuff.

And do you know what to do when someone is trying to get you to take art classes but you JUST don't want to? Dad is persistent in making me take internet art classes that involve drawing stuff like......vases and flowers..my response? NOT VERY HELPFUL IN WHAT I DO.

I try and TRY to tell him I'll take classes when I'm ready, but he just won't listen, he says he'll put me in one anyway. NEVER FORCE SOMEONE TO DO SOMETHING WHEN YOU CAN'T DO BETTER. He has NEVER drawn anything in my entire life except for 4 days, just because I was.

.....Grrr....I don't want any stupid art classes...I'm doing fine teaching myself....I MEAN COME'ON, BENJAMEN FRANKLIN TAUGHT HIMSELF AND LOOK HOW WELL HE WAS!

I now work in a kitchen on Wednesday nights (I don't get paid lol), I feel like Cinderella o_o Last night I was 30 minutes late for class because I was still cleaning up the kitchen XD ....By myself.....

I've been going through my old sketchbooks and piles of paper, putting it away into boxs and keeping some out that will be useful for reference later in the future.

I must go and finish that.

G-Force has to be the best animal movie since.....Cats & Dogs!!

If you haven't seen it yet, you should (both movies actually, Cats & Dogs is good too.)

Okay, so Cats & Dogs has been out for years. Its still a good movie. NINJA KITTIES SHALL ATTACK YOU FROM TEH SKY.


Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs looks like a movie thats half lame but half good. The whole line "I must stop the machine! The fate of the world depends on it!" line from the trailer throws me off.

AND WHY DID THEY WAIT SO DAMN LONG TO MAKE TOY STORY 3? I MEAN SERIOUSLY! Is it still that popular? Don't get me wrong, I loved that movie when I was a kid. But a 3rd...holy crap....

And anyone interested in the movie "9"? Coming to theaters 9-9-09?
I am, I've become fond of movies by Tim Burton. (Nightmare Before Christmas, and Coraline)

And the new Alice in Wonderland that is coming seems very interesting, even though I've seen about 4 different versions of the story. This one is more interesting then the others, and it has Jack Sparrow in it LOL

We've had fun, going all over Kentucky. We went to a water park, the mall, and today we drove go-karts!

Sadly...they leave tomorrow morning.....

Not exactly something I was expecting....we don't know why she died, she was only 4 years old and rabbits usually live up to 10 years...(note: we got her as a baby)

Me and mom had already planned to go to the movies, so we went....but instead of seeing Harry Potter, we went and watched Ice Age 3 (she needed something funny)

I loved it! It was so cute...and silly...and the 3-d glasses were.......actually cool and worked

Hopefully we can see G-Force sometime soon.

...I still wanna see Coraline.....

I will likely not do any submitting over the next 3-4 weeks, my grandmother will be in town next week and then my two friends will be here.....HOW DID MY LIFE GET SO BUSY?!

Not just because of photoshop, my computer has been very unresponsive the past few weeks.

Thankfully dad has a backup computer I can have, and I can give him my old one to erase everything off and make it the new backup.

And it wasn't what I thought it'd be, it was actually better.

And I felt safe the whole time, because I knew the others were close.

After we got into the area, we split into 2 groups. My group went to the All Mens Shelter, and yeah, it was full of homeless men.

We helped in organizing the food storage shacks. I was sent out to the sidewalk to sweep grass, weeds and stuff off, but Daniel sent Andrew over to take my place, so I could be in view and not get kidnapped or something happen.

After that, we went into the kitchen and put hairnets on and gloves on, and went out and served breakfest! I served the ice and water with Katey, Hannah, and Andrew when he came over to take his sisters (Hannah) place so she could get something to eat.

I didn't get any food. I've only had one meal today and that was when I got home.

After that, we headed over to where Group 1 was.

We met in the kitchen there and then went over to a warehouse and helped make a pathway.

After that, we split into groups again. My group went back to the kitchen and made COOKIES! Funny how there was only 3 of us kids, there was me, Kara and Steven (and of course, baking cookies is no fun without getting some on you, they had cookie doe on they're shirts when they were done....I got a finger of cookie dough and put it on Steven's face

After that, we went to where the other group was, in the childs daycare....that place was so sweet.

I mostly watched the kids run around and play, I did have to little boys (ages 3 or 4) and take my hand and pull me around the room with them, we just ran.

Kyle showed me a magic trick he learned from his dad, it was pretty cool.

After the Daycare, we came home....which it was 11:00 then.

Not bad for waking up at 4 o'clock IN THE MORNING.

And now, I must go prepare to go to the church again and play Ultimate Frisbee with Steven and the others. (I know Steven will be there, he told me.)

Even though I've been ran over in the past games I've played before, tonight, I just don't care. TRAMPLE ME! >8D

Why? Well, prepare yourself for a story.

I went to the Fair today after 5:30pm with my friend Ciara.

I had a really good time...Until that ONE ride......my gosh......my head feels like its still spinning...

See, there was this ride that LOOKED like a Ferris Wheel to me, well, I was wrong. I got more then I wanted out of that ride....the things you sit in, they flip, and they do 360s and keep going....I screamed so loud in terror.

I cried when I got off it (I only had to ride it once, thank you God.)
It scared me..

That was the last ride I went on, I felt so sick...which I did get sick....now my head just hurts....

And just like the last time I was at the Fair when I was 6, I came home with a GOLDFISH ......I'ma fish freak.

Now...I think I'm gonna go to bed and let the rest of the crying out....I still feel like I want to cry, so I'm just going to go lay down in my room and let it out.

AND ITS THE HOMELESS SHELTER AGAIN TOMORROW.....er...make that today....its 12:25am now. But I'm not going...maybe next time.

Mom didn't really want me to go, but she wouldn't stop me, she told me to sleep on it and make my mind up when I got up....well, when I did, I chose to just stay home.

Which it was a good thing I did, I've been sniffling, coughing and sneezing all day.

..er...o...I better be off to bed before dad catches me up and I get in trouble.....its summer and yet I CAN'T stay up as late as I want...its no fun.

Also...I can't shake the feeling that I'm...in trouble for not going....

And so, on Friday the 12th....I shall wake up at 4:30 in the morning, leave at 5:30...get to church, and then leave with the other High Schoolers at 5:45.

And off to the Homeless Shelter we go to help the...homeless.

I've always wanted to help at a place like this ever since I was little, and now I get to do it for the first time.....but as of right now.....I'M SCARED ;-;

I don't really know why I'm scared...I guess because I have to wake my parents up so damn early just to take me to church....DANG I WISH I WAS 16 AND COULD DRIVE.

But my parents say they want me to go and that it will be a good experience for me so....okay >_> If they say so....but I want mom to drive me there....I'll feel better about it.

I have no idea how long I'll be there or whos going...I hope Crystal, Tommy or Steven are there....Or just anyone I know.

The puppy has gotten bigger, we chose to name him Luke. (not Luke from Star Wars or Tales Of The Abyss or anything else...His dads name was Duke, so that's how he got his name.)

He loves to play, and still weighs hardly anything, I'm guessing he's 5-6 pounds by now....he was only 3 pounds when we got him o_o

And my gerbils, Kiki and Coco, had a litter of 8 babies, and in about 2 weeks there will be another litter.....I gotta find homes....QUICKLY. *searchs for phone book*

Well, first off, if I seem unhappy or depressed. Yes I am depressed, but not because of I'm still single on yet ANOTHER feckin Valentines.

I do hate this Holiday so much I wish I could just stop exsisting for one day..But I'll be happy for the sake of all of you who have a girl or boy to call your love.

As for me, I'll just keep thinking of that tablet that I WAS going to get today but can't and have to wait another 1-2 months. So much for something to cheer me up, even though mom says we're still going out to the mall anyway, I don't feel like going out anymore, I'd rather stay home and draw gothic bloody pictures.

On something you ARE interested in.....Topaz-Onyx : Black and White Moon pages WILL be up next week, as well as up-to-date pictures of the characters in it, and the Soulless stages of Megan Onyx and Alister Greenwell. (spoiler~! mwahaha, Alister is the same as Meg? Oh my.)

Well, moms ready to go....Hopefully we'll find that anime/manga store someone told me about at the mall, if not....well...I don't really know, be sad I guess.

I've had scratchy throat all week, past 2 days it feels like I swallowed sandpaper...same when I cough..

I made a dollar and 50 cents buying pizza for my dad! 8D.....yeah, thats the only good thing this week...he let me keep the change. ...Its better then getting 7 cents a week from pocket change..

I made cookies for where I go on Wensday nights, the high school leader said "Wow Megan! Your going to have 20 best friends now!" when I told him what I brought (he thought it was cake at first lol)

...I still feel the same, I don't think bringing cookies changed anything. Sunday morning I'll probobly still be the same new girl to everyone.

Anyway...

I feel...very depressed...I won't say why, so don't even ask...I'm to num to care if you fuss at me for not telling as well. So your in a loosing fight.

We've had a small funeral for her, and she's been put to rest in the earth.

I was getting ready for bed, when mom came into my room...and told me something very sad...

This may seem like something very stupid to you, but to me, its sad and heartbreaking.

Some of you may know, that I live in the country side, and on a mini like farm...with chickens.

One of these chickens is very special, because I raised her from the day she hatched.

I named her Chocobo...to her, I was her mother, and has been the most friendliest chicken we've ever had...

But this evening, I was given the sad news that she is slowly dieing...

What is causing this my parents don't know...I can only hope she'll live thru the night.

I know chickens were not given the life span we have, but what matters is I gave her life, she lived a few years...rather then a few hours. She wasn't execpted to live on the day she hatched, but it was all because a 9 year old child came inside shouting "It's still alive!" at 6 in the evening..

She'll also live on in her son, Arizone, the friendliest rooster we've ever had...and the first to flirt with humans.

In the morning, if she is still the same, or worse....well....mom will have dad put her down...Neither of them want it to happen...they know how special this animal is to me...

As stupid as it may seem to you, its not to me.

All of us mean something to someone, weither we're human or animals.

Animals are no diffirent then us.

But...I know she won't be any better in the morning....just by looking at her, holding her, and the way she put her head against me, not making a single sound....I know its her time...

But I'll still keep hope, maybe she'll be fine in the morning....maybe...

Alright, before I begin, I am home schooled, therefore my daily patterns are diffirent then most.

Anyway...

I went outside with my guniea-pigs cage to clean it, while I was putting fresh bedding in it, a silver car came down the road, I heard it stop and saw it back up to where it could see me thru some trees.

It stayed there the ENTIRE time I was putting the bedding in, as if they were watching me.

I finished.

Walked back to the house.

The car followed me up the road.

When I got to the point they couldn't follow me any further, they kept going up the road...

What...was that all about?

I told mom, she says they might have been lost...COULD THEY HAVE BEEN LOST WITHOUT HAVING TO WATCH ME?! I hate it when people watch me do something...unless its someone I know.

So I'm shaken up about this...It could have been many things...like...cell phone? Lost? Droping off kittens? (hahaha..)...STALKING ME?

I'm thinking of the last one...I'm just thinking of the most obvious one, and sadly there's alot of creeps out in the world...who are looking to do something to a defenceless girl...

But I'm not entirely defenceless! T.T If needed, I will fight to protect myself...with....a shovel! *trying to think confident*

And ya know what this means? If I see silver cars come down the road, I'm gonna freak out 8D If I'm alone that is...Fleeeee~

This song reminds me so much of a friend I knew named Crystal...her family abused her, she was in a wheelchair, but she always seemed cheery...no one ever did anything to help her, no one reported her abuseian to have her taken away...no one cared...

This song has made me create a character just for her, and be part of the Topaz-Onyx group...

Crystal disappeared several years ago, everyone says to give up in finding her, but I refuse to give up...I know she's still alive...somewhere...One day...when I'm old enough...I'll find her...

I wish I could have done something...but I was to young, I didn't know then, I was only 8...someday...

When we got there we walked around some and got on a ride called "Lewis And Clark", you get to drive a classic car from the earlier 1900's, it rattles so much x_x my foot got num I couldn't feel it....Ciara had a hard time, I thought she was gonna roll backwards into me, I was like "WHERE'S THE REVERSE?!"

After that Ciara and Dawn rode a kiddy ride, in which I was to tall (fine by me...I wasn't about to ride in a canu...however you spell it...)

Then we walked again! Ciara and Dawn went on a ride called "The Turkey Whirl" which I got dizzy just watchin'...while they did that I went with Ciara's dad on my very first roller coaster....70 MILES AN HOUR WITHOUT SLOWING DOWN! I wouldn't stop screaming...hands glued to the bars execpt for when I had to grab my glasses before they flew off...BUT IT WAS FUN!!! (*gets sick later that night...*)

Then me and him got something to drink, and Ciara and Dawn pulled me onto another Turkey ride, you shoot targets for points... Ciara got 130 and I got 840 WAS SHE EVER MAD!! My aiming skills are ace 8)

Let's see...after that....we went to the one and only water park! *shot*

First we had to change into our swimwear, the first thing we went to was called "Jungle Racer" you go up fairly high, race against...I think 8 other people, maybe 9....I beat Ciara 4 out of 5 times, I felt like I could FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!! *gets water in her face*

Then....we went to this play area thing they wanted to get on, both children and adults could play on it. There was this big bucket that'd get full and then pour, and everyone'd scream, I tried to avoid it, but I failed...

After that we had lunch...

Then...Ciara took me to three black tube rides, first we went on "Go", which, you just go straight, I went underwater at the end of that...had it go up my nose and down my throat...Then we went on "Ron", I don't remember which that was....I held my nose at the end....THEN! we went on Otto! Which was the most fun, I kept saying "Oh god!" on the way down I said that alot on Wensday

Theeeeeeeeeeeeen, we went on a ride next to it...*laughs* me and Ciara sat across from each other...I rode the entire ride down backwards I saw where we'd been on the ride...YAY! NO WATER IN MY FACE!

Then, we kinda got lost...And spent about 5 minutes trying to find the others, Ciara got scared...BUT WE FOUND'EM!!

Then we went to the WAVE POOL!!! OWO I LOVED THE WAVE POOL!!! You get 10 minutes of calm water and then 10 minutes of waves! I had fun jumping in the waves....WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!

After that we went to a calm river like ride....I tried sitting in a innertube only to fall in the water backwards and scrape my elbow on the bottom, it was 2 feet deep...

After that...we got some icecream and left the waterpark...(my feet were like raisens...), Ciara and Dawn took me to a log ride...we rode it 2 times.

Then Ciara rode a ride, Dawn was to short....I went to a gift shop and got a pretty keychain and necklence in the shape of a dolphian

Then we played a game for stuffed animals...I got a monkey, Ciara got a monkey, and Dawn got a puppy...we played a second time...I got a puppy, Dawn got a Monkey, and Ciara got a Monkey...Later we played another game of it, I got another puppy, Ciara got a monkey again and Dawn got a smaller puppy. Me and Ciara traded, I didn't need puppies...SHE WAS HAPPY!!

We went into another gift shop...I got a white tiger ^^ So cuuuute...

I meant to take pictures of Holiday World...but I didn't get much...Like....4 pictures? XD

That was pretty much it...didn't get home until like...1:00am I slept the next day.

Now...I WANNA DRAW!!

I've been raising chao for about a year now, and I've learned so much about them, now, I wanna share some stuff I've learned from Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

Simple! Throw the egg against the wall! Don't worry, they come out just the same, only it will be more active.

Chao That Pay For Themselves!
Got a bunch of chao shell tops cluttering your garden? Wanna get rid of them? EASY!!

All you gotta do it take'em to the blackmarket and sell them! Each color and type is different in amount of ring.

Let's say you got 4 Shiney White shells, if we sell each of them, you get 4000 rings!
