holy crap, I missed this place!
I just happened to go on and look through some of my messages, and realized I really wanna be active on here again.
So I did something I never thought I'd do...I deleted ALL the messages and ALL the deviations. (so i'm so so sorry if I missed something! I just don't have time to look through everything...)
anyway, I also had to unwatch all my friends (we're still friends, just I don't get notifications) HOWEVER, I wanna watch people again, but I'm waiting to go through and decide. If you talk to me though, I'll probably watch you again xD

I just finished Junior year of High School (most difficult year yet by FAR), and I'm gonna be heading to JAPAN this SUNDAY! so not much time on here before I go, but oh well.
I haven't been drawing a ton (or even reading manga/watching anime!) it's sad, but I just haven't had time.
I'm starting again though!
and I've been teaching myself guitar, which is so much fun

First of all, Happy New Year guys!!

So 2007 was a pretty sweet year...I'm stoked for '08... i'll be turning 17 in less than two weeks!!!

I can't even list all the amazing stuff that happened in '07.... it was just awesome though.
Hope '08 is just as good if not better for EVERYONE on here!!

Now, some not as happy stuff...I've been totally inactive on here, and I don't think I'll be becoming more active anytime soon. I'm really sorry...I'm just flooded with new deviations, and I don't really have time to update. But I'll still check in occasionally, and I'll be around online. (Right now I'm becoming more active on LJ, so if you want my sn, just send a note)

As for art, I'm still drawing, just not as much. But I may post something in the future....not sure though.

I got my Driver's License today!!! I was scared to death of the road test...but I did it!!!

pheeew something that's been stressing me out is FINALLY out of the way!! yay ^_^

It's not that I'm not taking classes, but there wasn't room in one of the ones I wanted, and the another got postponed until next semester. hmm a little frustrating.

WOOOAH I'm so proud of myself...I just read 7+ volumes of Naruto and got up to Naruto Shippuden!! (Basically I read all the stuff they're leaving out of the US Shonen Jump) So now I'm switching over to watching the anime ^^
I tried to stay out of the Naruto fandom before, because it's like Kingdom Hearts... kind of annoyingly overpopular on DeviantArt...but I now have to acknowledge...it's REALLY FRICKING GOOD!!!

I beat FFX-2 yesterday...and I gotta say, I was a little disappointed. It just was NOT as good as FFX, and while the ending was happy....it made me sad because FFX's ending and storyline were so much better. T_T

So I'm replaying FFX ^_^
and it is FANTASTIC. seriously, I advise all of you to play it. TOTALLY, TOTALLY worth it.

Also, playing it again...I hate Tidus less. I still don't like his voice that much, but I gotta feel kinda bad for the guy...he seems to lose EVERYTHING...

Since I'm basically in LOVE with FFX right now, if you know of any good AMVs, fanart, doujinshi, fanfics, action figures, ANYTHING, let me know ^_^

So I was up until 5 am finishing Harry Potter this morning... really sad...(i won't post spoilers here) but I guess it was a good ending. I didn't really like the epilogue though.

ANYWAY, I have a bunch of manga/anime related stuff to do. The biggest one is....NARUTO!
The US monthly Shonen Jump is pissing me off, I don't wanna buy 10 volumes of Naruto in two months! do you GET how much that COSTS?
so screw you Shonen Jump...I'll catch up on my own xD lol

so right now im on chapter 145, gonna try to catch up completely to the current manga & anime. ^.^

man that's a lot of manga to read xD

I've been thinking about a bunch of stuff in Bleach, and I was talking to my brother about it yesterday, and I realized....is there a single major character who's DIED yet? (ichigo's mom and Kaien don't count, because they were dead before it started).

I mean....there's all the shinigami captains, vice-captains, other characters....it just seems like SOMEone is due to die.
Maybe that sounds weird, but I think it would help make it less 'typical shonen' manga, where the characters become essentially invincible...

but DON'T GET ME WRONG! I still LOVE Bleach.

I'm also quite aware that there are certain characters whose deaths would cause RIOTS...but...yeah
It'd be more exciting if someone were to actuallly die...they all seem too invincible..y'know?


--that said, after this chapter I'm SOOORT of beginning to sympathize with Orihime...she's afraid that Ichigo becoming a Hollow is like her brother when he became a Hollow....
but...she still annoys me. lol

Thanks so much to the people who read this and who commented - no matter what you said it's made me feel better T_T

So today I found out that the funeral is going to be in a week, so I won't be missing anime boston. At first I was happy, but my mom is so exhausted that I feel bad making her pick me up (I'm taking the bus there).
I also feel like I shouldn't be happy about anything when everyone in my family is so upset...

also, sorry about the journal before this...I just needed to tell someone. *gomenasai*

So is anyone going to Anime Boston or having a table there? If you do I'll drop by and maybe buy a print or something.

first off, i got home...and found out my grandad had collapsed today. he died this evening.

that makes me so sad, even though I'm not that close to him...he was really really awesome.

now, as if it werent bad enough, the only thing that has kept me going for the past two weeks is knowing that I'll be going to Anime Boston on saturday.
now his funeral might be that day.
i dont know what to do. FUCK WHY THE FUCK IS THIS HAPPENING?!!!

basically, if the funeral is that day - it's either go to the funeral and miss the convention or go to the con, be fucking SELFISH, and miss the funeral.

i know i sound SO fucking SELFISH...but this week has been absolute SHIT and the thought of this convention this weekend .... i mean ive never been to one before - and even though im going alone ....ugh i was so excited

Okay, so for Xmas, I got...A LAPTOP!!! it's a Mac, but the only paint program I have is Open Canvas and I think that only works for Windows. I'm saving money for a Graphic Tablet and/or Photoshop, but what I'm wondering is whether there are any programs that I can use to paint with in the meantime...I don't need anything amazing...but I DO need layers and stuff.....

Anyways, I'm doing the class with my friend who I haven't seen for a few years. It's really cool cuz there's FINALLY someone who lives near me and likes anime and manga
yayyy!!!

So yeah even tho' this week is pretty stressful...I'm happy.

Also, for my exhibition project at school three of my friends and I made a 'music video' to Bach's 2nd concerto, and compared it to the same video set to "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton.
It was sooo damn fun to make and yeah...I think I'm gonna try to put it on YouTube...lol but I'm too lazy right now.
Anyways it's cool and I'll be trying hard to draw more so I can get some more stuff on here!!

HOLY CRAP
the last week and a half have been THE most stressful days of my fricking LIFE.
we had 2 of the biggest games of our season (soccer - lost one, won the other) against schools that are literally more than 10 times our size!!! in the one we lost i got beaten up pretty much, then got awful leg cramps and couldnt play for almost the whole second half. oh well

SO THEN, we were given a mid-term english exam, a spanish quiz, a bio quiz, 2 english projects AND it was the week that mid-term grades were being sent out!!! AHHHHH

for my english project, i did a 4 page comic of part of Macbeth! ill put it up later, but i forgot to scan it last night and i already handed it in..oops

Anyway, it was ALSO halloween!! so on friday night there was a halloween dance at school (bestest dance by far), then the next night a halloween party at which i was FORCED to watch SAW!! plus, i HATE scary movies!!! i NEVER EVER EVER watch them...basically...im still fucking terrified.
i actually thought it was interesting though. but scary.

so THEN i spent all of sunday working on the comic at my cousin's house where i was supposed to be for a b-day party, then we drove home and i basically freaked out due to lack of sleep / stress / fear of scary movies.
it sucked.

monday i had my first day of Driver's Ed, + an extra soccer practice. Tuesday- halloween...i got NO hw done...but i went trick or treating with my friends...rofl all five of us going around at age 15 almost 16....we're cool.

wednesday was TERRIBLE.
i used my whole free to work on my comic (due the next day), and was so stressed that i sat in the back of spanish class where she couldnt see me and worked on it for all of spanish too. then i had our last soccer game. a bunch of the senior guys were watching [including this guy who ive had a crazy like...fan girl crush on since 8th grade... how sad]. so that was scary. we tied 2-2 (technically we won; they called offsides like 5 minutes AFTER we scored...cuz their coach like, forced the refs to call it.
their coach was awful..but...w/e i was happy with a tie.
finally, wednesday night - i stayed up until 1:30 am working on my fricking comic. I finally finished and went through today with less than 5 hours of sleep. it sucked. also, ive had drivers ed all week so im getting home late.

WHEW
thank god the worst is over.
i now know how fucking hard it must be to be a manga artist who has to write 20 pages a week.
i could barely write 4.

so tonight im taking a break and ignoring the fact that i should be working on my research project.
this weekend ill be catching up on 2 episodes of Veronica Mars, plus 3 episodes of deathnote and d. grayman.

and to top it all off, i have 21 deviations and 47 messages to look at. (maybe its not as much as other people, but it feels like a lot!)

ooh i also got my hair cut.
it's shoulder length now !! and i got it chemically straightened! (it kind of just makes it wavy and easier to straighten...i should put up a picture maybe)


okay...so sorry if ive missed deviations and sorry for not putting anything up. ill do something eventually i promise!

well...lol i knew my good mood wouldnt last...well...im still happy, but things are annoying
this guy whos really awesome (a year older than me) is in my math class...and hes really nice, so i kinda like him. but...as usual, my friend just showed me an IM where he was asking her all about her past relationships...
it just makes me sad cuz almost every guy ive ever liked has liked her. in fact, ive never really cared that much about boyfriends and crap...but it would still be nice if some guy liked me someday

i usually end up feeling like the nerdy friend of the girl all the guys like...
