Artwise, things are coming along fairly well Working on another self portrait, tring to get the proportions right. As well, I'm working on another TH Pixel over. Whats more, i applied for a position on THN [link]. They're looking for a graphics designer . Though, I prob. won't get the position. it's be so cool though!

Music

Leaving for choir in a few minutes, rushing this journal entry XD Going to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert in a few days in my hometown, then Stone Temple Pilots a week or so after that! SO EXCITED!!

They've both arrived! My Humanoid CD and my new pen for my Tablet!

I sooo happy! Ive been listening to the cd for a few weeks, and I adore it. It sounds amazing! My favourite song is Zoom

And my pen arrived wednesday, so I havent had much timw to try it out yet, but it definitely works better than my old one. I even managed to crank out a couple pieces, I'll post them soon.

Sorry I havent been around much lately, I think I used a lot of my creative juices on pixel art a while ago

Me, my family, and a bunch of my friends went to a fair newr my house last night. It was so much fun! The rest of my family left kinda early, about 8-ish. My friends and I hung out at his house and drank XD Lol, a bunch of teenagers and some booze is FUN!

Art+School+Things to be bought

Heyy guys
Long time no speak, wassup?

So, this is the story. Im working pretty hard on some art, but theres lots of it, and its all half finished Im also finishing a mural here at home for school, which starts a week from tomorrow. This includes taking pictures (which ive promised to you guys, I'm sorry!), sifting through what I can and cant publish on dA from trips etc., and finding out how to draw Gustav.....

Speaking of which, I cant wait for Humanoid! And since I can order the fanpack here in Canada, I think I might. If I can beg my family to get it for me. Maybe for xmas. 50$ is a bit steep for me yet, and we still have to go shopping for back to school clothes XD *is such a loser*

But, yeah, so school starts in a week. Im not too sad about it, but it will seriously cut into my art time. On the plus side, one of my classes this year it art, so maybe I'll have more stuff to post after all.

Ive recovered all my files from my pc, so old WIPs (Including the tokio hotel WIP ) will be completed, yay!

And when I buy a new pen for my tablet, I'll be able to finish a bunch of Photoshop paintings. How tragic that it broke T^T

Mmmkay, I'll stop boring you now ^^

Hiiiii guuuyyyyyysss.

Two things in this journal, pretty much.
Sad news first.
My kitty, Ebony, is very sick. She has a condition calles feline squamous cell carcinoma - feline oral cancer. Theres nothing we can do for her, and skipping all the gorey details, she's in a lot of pain. Tomorrow is the day we put her down, please pray for us everyone.

Fun news next.
My bffl and I went shopping at the mall in our area. Im quite happy with my purchases, even though I DID blow a wholw week's paycheck...heheh

WOOOOH! Summer ist HERE!!! XD FINALLY

I got a laptop for my birthday! Everythings up and running, pretty much, and I got photoshop back! Im sooo happy about that w00t! Bad news - I recently dropped my pen for my tablet, and it broke >.> >.< so everythings on hold for a little AGAIN

Everyone who actually gets this, please listen!

So, my life has been very messed up lately.
Im battling a bad illness, spending lots of time at home by myself and very lonely. So when I reach out to you guys, my dA friends, I'd like a little something back.
The only person that regularly comments on my work is . Im always so grateful to you dear DeMoN for that!
I know you guys are just as busy as I am, some far more. I understand that too. Some of my "watchers" dont see my art, or dont see my journals, I know that too.

Im just asking you, as an artist, to take me into consideration too. The piece in mind is my nostalgia bear - its for a contest, Im aiming for as good as I can get. When I ask for comments, seeing as I rarely do, I expect comments. Even if you have nothing to say about a piece, please FIND something to say.

Im not usually one to bitch about commenting, so I think thats the least you can do for me.

Until then, im just not gonna really care about perfection. Im working with MS Paint right now, because I lost photoshop, and because the drawing I do in real life are never as good translated onto computer. Im trying to do my best with this program, but if theres nothing helping me or encouraging me to get better, really, whats the point in even trying.

Thought I might wanna throw an update at y'all.
HI!
Trying to work through my inbox....lotss of journal entries and Comments ^^ I'll bet to em all eventually.
My art is kinda on a standstill. Blockage, sorta. Im in this frame of mind to start projects, then never actually finish them/lose intrest etc. Verdammen.
Lol. I DO want to make myself a new av. tho, and the dear =RamboFox1 is making me a new ID (THANKYOU x infinity!!!), and I will make him a gift as thanks...
Maybe I'll get to those eventually. I hope.

In other news...my life is quite busy, and my computer slow. It keeps feken crashing on me. Lol.
I submitted a design for a contest, and I WON!! They want to use my art for a big celebration/mass thing called a U2charist in my hometown. Its a church celebration to the music of U2. *happiness*
Thats really cool, i think. And....I tried out for my schools touch football team last night. I dont know if I made it....I dont think my chances are good...but I will still hope! Lol, I hurt really bad today. And I twisted my ankle catching the ball, so that hurts too.
My dad recently got laid off. Stupid recession. I just got through all my appointments, as he was trying to fit as many in as he could before the plan expired. hahhhh.....it sucks.

I have to go practice my flute for band, and write out music now. Honestly, thats the least homework Ive had in a long time.

Easter was good to me! I love the Easter story, and the time with family, and the chocolate. Im gonna get really fat XDD

Uhh...uhh....and....thats it, I think.
I love you all, and I will try to get through all your messages and finish artwork for you!!

I got to attend one of the Breaking Dawn midnight release parties. It was a lot of fun!! But, I did realise how snooty some of these readers can be. I saw some really self-obsessed, "Im-Better-Than-You" attitudes goin on there.

Hey.

I'm currently working on a piece, but I need some advice. The Theme is from part of a song I've learned. It goes like this-

"Spirit of the Sun
Spirit of the Rain
Warm the earth
And grow the grain.

Spirit of the Wind
Spirit of the Moon
Make the warmer
Days come soon."

Honestly, I have no knowledge of the song, other than the lyrics. I don't know where it's fron, what era, who wrote it, nothing. So, if anyone has information about that, It'd be fantastic if you could let me know. Also, in the piece of art, I'm personifying the spirits(only from images in my head - please, no one take offense at what comes out) , like "Brother Sun", "Sister Moon", etc. What I don't know is what the personification of the Wind and Rain are. Elderly, Young, Male or female? So, again, if anyone has any idea of where I should be going with this, please PLEASE let me know!
