2.Second, the December donation art is now available. That is page 4 of Jack's comic as well as another supplementary color image. This one is a little random, I guess....I'd wanted to draw Charizard, but decided to make him more anthro and give him some clothes to emphasize his gut (he's got kind of a rounded belly anyway). And then it seemed logical to make it a holiday theme, so I thought....Christmas party at the office, why not? Which is why I chose to dress him the way I did; I'm sure some will recognize his outfit

3.Also, I'd like to say Thank You to a kind commissioner who has given me a new-used computer for nothing more than the cost of shipping! My old machine is just about ready to pack it in, so it came at the most opportune time, and is much more up to date and a heck of a lot quicker. Thanks so much, man, this is already making a world of difference!

Many kind thanks as well to everyone who's donated, especially those of you who have sent large sums recently for groups of images. December is going to be brutal; I've got both my license renewal and plates this month, so that's another $100 to heap on top of Christmas shopping and the recent emergencies that have cropped up. I know I say it often, but I really couldn't make it without you. You guys are awesome!!

4.One last thing: I've transferred my address book to my new machine and condensed the mailing lists, but if anyone has signed up for site updates and found they didn't receive an e-mail notification, please let me know!

A word about my commissions: I get a lot of similar questions about the pictures I post here and on my site; people ask if I'm going to continue a certain comic series or take the project from line art to color in the near future. Please, read the description of the image; if it's listed as a "commission", that means someone paid me to draw it for them. I personally had nothing to do with the characters or what's happing in the picture/comic, I just drew what was described for me. If the person paid for 3 comic pages, we did 3. If they paid for line art only, that's what I did for them. I'm truly flattered that folks are so keen on these pieces, but it's not up to me in any way to make more for the set or scenario. If there is to be more added to a project, it's up to the person who bought it to commission more.

And in regard to making additions as a request instead of a commission, I regret that my financial situation will not allow me to take requests at this time. I can't even get my own projects done right now.

District 9

My fiancÃ© took me to see this movie a short while back and it has easily and instantaneously become one of my new favorites. I wouldn't want to reprise my usual role as Captain Bringdown and rant about the evils of humanity, so I'll skip that *cough* and simply say I've fallen madly in love with these aliens. Absolutely smitten. I adore their feet and cute tentacley mouthpartsâ¦.my only complaint is that there are, as of yet, no action figures. Let's get on that, Mr. Jackson! I must have a Christopher of my ownâ¦.

I am pleased to say that I'm done with the renovations to DuoRadon.com. I hope you'll enjoy the new format, and feel free to contact me if you see any problems or have any opinions on what was done, positive or negative.

As for Indigo-Grove.com, the structure of the site is pretty much done with the exception of two sections, it just needs new skins. I don't know how long that will take me, but it will likely be at least a few months. The artwork is accessible, however, and there are a few new pics on this site as well.

1: Alterations. I am currently working on a complete overhaul to both of my web sites. They'll not only have new backgrounds but a new configuration as well. For instance, I'm moving all of my personal fan art to Indigo Grove, making it a general fan site instead of just a Nightcrawler-exclusive one. All the Kurt content will remain there as well. DuoRadon.com will then house my original art and projects, as well as all my commissioned works.

The two sites will also share some sections and will be more integrated with each other than before, like two halves of the same animal. I'm also planning to combine my mailing lists into one (if I can manage it without screwing it up) so anyone signed up to receive updates for either site will then get an e-mail when there is new content to any section, Indigo or DuoRadon. If you'd prefer not to have that, feel free to e-mail me and request to be taken off the list. Everyone else will remain on it and won't need to sign up again, provided I don't accidentally lose my mailing list while I tinker with it *crosses fingers*

2: Deletions. I will be deleting some of the artwork from DuoRadon.com when I change the sites around. It'll be some of the older work, both commissioned and personal, and I won't be re-posting it anywhere or mailing any files to individuals. I tell you this now because I know people have been upset when other artists have done similar things and I want you to have fair warning. If you like looking at a specific image on my site but have never saved it to your hard drive, please do so. They won't be seen again on my sites.

This does NOT give anyone free license to do whatever they wish with the images that are removed. You may not alter them or distribute them; all copyright legalities still remain in effect. If you wish to post an image on your own site, please ask first. I can't give permission for any commissioned work, but if it's one of my own images, I may consider it depending on your request. If you are the commissioner of a specific work, you are more than welcome to post it yourself and there are plenty of sites where you can do that for free.

As for what will be taken down, I won't know until I actually start working on it. If I've removed something you've commissioned, it's nothing personal, I'm not mad at you or unhappy with your picture or anything. But some of the galleries are now quite large and some of the art is fairly old; it's just time for a change.

It also means that, if you have linked to any specific parts of my sites (as opposed to just the main domain itself), those links will no longer work. All of the pages will have new file names and nothing will remain where it is now.

I hope to be able to do this soon, but it all depends on how long it takes for me to get this artwork done. What a miserable 3 weeks it's been...I'm quite far behind where I need to be, and have made almost no progress on my site renovations either. For December's donations, I have something a little different. This month's item costs $15; this applies to this item only, all past donation gifts are $10 unless otherwise noted.

I am offering a ZIP file this month that contains a collection of sketches showing a variety of characters in different stuffing scenarios. There are 20 files in all and they vary between rough sketch work to line art and more complete pencil drawings. Most of them were originally intended to be completed works, but for various reasons will never be colored or posted.

The subjects are as follows:
3 files: Evolution Nightcrawler, 7 files: anthro jackal Duo Maxwell, and 10 files: my original characters.

The ZIP file is 3.5 MG so please make sure you have enough room in your inbox before donating, and of course, you'll need WINZIP to open it (which is free to download but I believe it comes standard with Windows). I've had a couple people test the file for me (many thanks to CR and GF!) so it shouldn't give anyone any trouble, but if you do experience problems opening it, please contact me and I can arrange another method of delivery.

Commissions are now open again, and you may request a spot on my waiting list by e-mailing me at duoradon@sbcglobal.net; (please don't request a spot through Deviant). Before you do so, please take note of some important changes:

My prices have gone up a bit since the last opening. Most of you know that I rely entirely on commission work for my income and if I am going to be able to continue commissions at all, I need to compensate for the higher cost of living and supplies. Please review my price scale and rules here:

If you're already on my list (in other words, you've signed up before 11-08-08), these new prices don't apply to you; you'll pay the old prices for your entire session. If you should sign up again after that, you'll be priced according to the new scale. If you need to review the old price scale, please e-mail me and I'll send it to you.

I have discussed specific prices with a few people in anticipation of opening commissions, and if you got a price quote from me you'll pay that price for that project only. Anything additional, or if the details of your project have changed, you'll reference the new scale. Any other orders are subject to the new pricing as well.

I take orders on a strict first-come first-served basis. Those that will be first on the list this time around can expect a wait of roughly one month, which will put you very close to Christmas. If you think you might be financially strapped or just too busy to worry about commissions at that time but would still like to sign up, please let me know and I'll make sure you get a spot further down the list.

Unfortunately, it's very unlikely that anyone (aside from possibly the first or second spot) signing up at this point will be done before Christmas, so please don't count on giving the art to anyone as a Christmas present unless they don't mind it being belated.

I usually close the list after 15 to 18 people, and those at the end of the list can expect a wait of at least 4 months or more. I can't tell you for certain how long your wait will be because I don't know how much work any one person will need, but I can tell you how many people are ahead of you. If, at any time during your wait, you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know so I can keep my work schedule accurate.

August's donation gift is a 3 part series showing a progression of stuffing for a single character, no background. This month, I've chosen an anthropomorphic Naruto (as a nine-tailed fox). There are 3 files to choose from: the first shows him with a moderate belly and eating ramen, the second is a substantial midsection while drinking some kind of beverage, and the third has the largest stomach with your standard "I can't stand anymore, why did I eat all that" expression.

For a donation of $10 up to $19.99, you may choose any one of the three files. If you make a donation of $20 or more, you can have all three. If you do choose to get a single file, you MUST specify in your payment which one you'd like (August #1, August #2, or August #3). If you do not, I will send one at random.

The 3-for-$20 offer will remain in effect past the month of August, but on these three images only. It does not apply to any of the other donation items.

On a non-business note, I love Hellboy. I really do. Where have you been, Duo? He's been around for years. As is typical for me, for whatever reason and most regrettably, I'm very slow on the uptake. I've seen the books in our local comic shop for a long time now, but I never picked one up. I suppose, with my finances what they were, I wasn't looking to delve into a new obsession and then not have the ability to satiate it. I hadn't even seen the first movie until about a month ago. But this new one looked so irresistible that it forced my hand (it was wonderful, by the way). I bought the first dvd and that's really all it took. Now I'm starting to read the books and I must confess myself absolutely smitten. I had never expected it to be so endearing, nor Hellboy so lovable, to say nothing of Mr. Mignola's stunning artwork. I only lament waiting so long.

Also, I was taken to see The Dark Knight as well. Really, very impressive piece of cinema. No demons, though ^_^

The donation pictures I will offer for April, May and June are again a progression showing a character growing fuller and larger. This time, each item is a 3-panel comic page where the top two panels are line art only and the bottom half-page panel is in color. A new character of mine, a mint green Corgi named Jupiter, has been absconded by voluptuous female Caracal natives while exploring a jungle. Stripped of his clothes except for his shorts, he is to be fattened and sacrificed to the villager's captive dragon-like creature, who swallows his prey whole. (I don't depict scenes of torture so this series is not abusive towards the subject or graphically violent.) This isn't really like a traditional comic as there is expected to be some time progression between each panel, not just each page, and there is no dialogue. It's more like 3 snapshots from the story.

April: Jupiter has been tied up and the feeding begins; depicts fat females, force-feeding and male belly expansion.

May: Some time later, Jupiter is now very fat and immobile, and feeding continues; fat females, male weight gain and force-feeding.

June: This page focuses on the dragon; Jupiter is lowered into its open mouth and it swallows him whole. Traditional vore and belly expansion.

Thank you also for the many wonderful suggestions you've sent for my donation gifts! There was a surprisingly wide variety of scenarios and it was impossible to choose just one, so the next donation series incorporates a lot of the basic ideas that were suggested, but not the specific characters. Still, I hope it will contain something that everyone will enjoy! And the minimum donation to receive the art is back to $10, no extra art this month

The donation pictures I will offer for April, May and June are again a progression showing a character growing fuller and larger. This time, each item is a 3-panel comic page where the top two panels are line art only and the bottom half-page panel is in color. A new character of mine, a mint green Corgi named Jupiter, has been absconded by voluptuous female Caracal natives while exploring a jungle. Stripped of his clothes except for his shorts, he is to be fattened and sacrificed to the villager's captive dragon-like creature, who swallows his prey whole. (I don't depict scenes of torture so this series is not abusive towards the subject or graphically violent.) This isn't really like a traditional comic as there is expected to be some time progression between each panel, not just each page, and there is no dialogue. It's more like 3 snapshots from the story.

April: Jupiter has been tied up and the feeding begins; depicts fat females, force-feeding and male belly expansion.

May: Some time later, Jupiter is now very fat and immobile, and feeding continues; fat females, male weight gain and force-feeding.

June: This page focuses on the dragon; Jupiter is lowered into its open mouth and it swallows him whole. Traditional vore and belly expansion.

March's donation picture is available and in addition, for anyone who would like to send a little more than the $10 donation, I have a set of 7 black and white pencil sketches of various original characters. They are:

Female Bunny, stuffed
Female Cow, fattened
Male Kangaroo, stuffed
Male Lamb, stuffed
Male Otter, fattened
Male non-anthro Polar Bear, fattened
Male Wild Dog, inflated

They are individual jpeg files but offered all together, and as a supplement to the Wolf picture. A donation of $20 is required to receive both; the sketches are not available independently of the Wolf. So, in short, a donation of $10 to $19.99 will get you the Wolf picture, and a donation of $20 or more will get you the Wolf and all 7 of the sketches.

Please note that I am only offering these sketches until the end of March. As of April 1st, they will no longer be available for any amount. The other donation pictures I've done will continue to be available as long as I'm taking donations.

I did receive a lot of positive responses to the 3-part unicorn series I did, so I'm making another for Jan.-Mar. It's another stuffing progression, of a male wolf this time. I always wished the wolf in the old fairy tales would get the chance to live happily ever after. If you feel the same, you'll probably enjoy these ^_^

DONATION SUGGESTIONS:

While I have March's donation picture scheduled, I don't have any plans for the images for April onward. If you have a suggestion that you'd like me to consider, please feel free to contact me! I want these images to be appealing to everyone, so I'd like to hear what you think.

Now, I'm not guaranteeing that your idea will be drawn and this isn't a contest, I have no prizes to award. But if I get enough suggestions of a similar nature or one in particular that I feel would be fun, it'll be the subject of April's donation art.

Some important things to keep in mind:

-It MUST be G rated.

-It should be a stuffing, vore, inflation, or weight gain scene since those seem to be what people expect of me, but I will consider any topic.

-I'm not doing anyone's personal characters, so please don't send me your persona descriptions. That's what commissions are for. But it can be a cartoon or comic book character, male or female, furry or otherwise.

-The scene may not contain any more than 2 characters.

-The background, if there is one, must be very simple.

-Please don't send stories or extensive descriptions, I don't have time to read them; a paragraph or 2 at most will do.

-If I do use your idea, that won't give you the right to post or share the image. Again, that's what commissions are for.

-I won't be giving the image away to the person who suggested it. If several people suggest similar scenes, I'd have to give it to all of them and that defeats the purpose of the donation gift art.

I'm currently awaiting a permanent job position, and in the meantime I'm sustaining myself on commission work, which doesn't quite cover all of my needs. As a thank you to anyone who donates $10 or more, I have a special piece of art each month that can't be acquired any other way and will never be posted on my sites.

The content is always stuffing/vore of an anthro character, since that seems to be the most popular. For the next three months, the pieces offered are parts of a series, showing the stuffing progression of a female unicorn morph.

As I've run into some taxing medical expenses, and with Christmas looming, I'm hoping to spread the word and interest as many people as possible. Yes, I'm begging. *pretty please?*

But sadly, so many bat species are in decline or in danger of extinction. They face threats from pollution and changes in climate, they have lost habitats because of human development, they're slaughtered and preserved as collectible specimens, and they are exterminated as pests.

There is good news to be had, however! We can all do something to help them. Many organizations are working to preserve species in the wild. And there are local volunteer-based rehabilitation and rescue services to aid injured and orphaned bats. Here are a few sites I've found that are loaded with information: Facts and busted myths about bats, articles about the status of wild species, links, pictures, activities, merchandise, info on bat houses, and options for everyone to help conserve bats! Why not check them out?

I know we bat-lovers would adore a pet bat of our very own; it's only natural to want to get close to them, they're so darned cute. But like any wild animal, a bat does not make a good pet. They may be easy enough to handle and feed, but a cage is no life for a flying animal that would normally cover so many miles every night to look for food. Not to mention the fact that bats are social. They don't want to be caged up in a house far from their little bat families! And some bats can live up to 30 years in captivity! I know many places in the U.S. have laws against keeping any wild animal in a private residence without a license, but as we all know, sadly, countless exotic pets slip through the restrictions and find lonely, miserable lives in a most unnatural habitat.

But just because we can't keep them in our homes doesn't mean we can't have a relationship with these cute little mammals! If you really want to do something kind for bats, why not put up a bat box? If you take the time to make sure you get the right one, you can have a whole colony of bats living on your property without interfering with their natural behavior! Plus, you get to see them relatively closely and score a point for Mother Earth to boot ^_^ Many of the sites listed above will help you get a bat house for your yard, and here is one of the sites that specializes in selling them (I like the name!):

This link will take you to a petition to ask eBay to stop allowing the sale of dead bats that were killed for (horribly ugly) decorations. They're not picking on eBay, that just happens to be one of the sites where people can buy and sell these things. For more information on the subject, please see BatWorld.org's "Wall of Shame".

I suppose I could use this opportunity to ask the general populace an annoying fanboy question: Blood+ fans, do any of you list the Chiropterans as your favorite characters, like I do? I search and search for screencaps or art of them with the almighty Google, but it seems like almost all I can come up with are images of the human characters. If anyone knows of a good site for Chiropteran pictures or fanart, maybe you could send me a note or somethin', pretty please?

I know, my rants on the subject are long and tedious, but I have a very obsessive personality and this is sort of my latest thing. I know you can relate! *squint*
