Never really had an interview before...

EDITSES: Lol, despite the near panic attack I had over this thing, when I actually got down to it I wasn't scared at all. The manager's really nice lol. He didn't really ask me much though... Just what I did while volunteering at the library, if I learned anything from school that might help with the job, and how I feel with talking to strangers. (I'm noticeably shy lol.) He talked about himself a little too which I thought was great because I find it difficult to listen to someone if I don't know anything about them or their personality. :/

Well, I think my chances are good? He said I looked nice, seemed smart, that I have a nice smile, and that he liked me. And something about how he already hired three people but it's not fair to just give everyone employment paperwork (?) so he has to go through the other applicants before he can tell me anything for sure. But he kinda talked to me like I already got it, saying things like he'd have to show me what it's like to see a movie from the projector room, what uniform I'd have to buy/wear, where I'd be working, and that working there would help me come out of my shell more.

Also, one of the questions on the application was to list the last four movies you saw and what you thought of them, and he said he liked that I actually wrote something, when he's literally seen people put "It good" and "funny" as answers. And he liked what I said about Religulous ("Didn't finish it, but it alternated between stupid, funny, and insightful").

I'm expecting a call back tomorrow. o:

If I get this job, I won't have to be homeless'd on my birthday either.

Y HELO THAR CHEST PAIN





I took it surprisingly well, except for the chest pain and the whole shaking even though I didn't feel cold or nervous part.
Then I ate a doughnut and felt like puking. ;o;
I don't feel like the chest pain is a big enough deal to have mentioned at the time -- it was really dull, mild, etc... didn't last longer than maybe 3 seconds at a time? It was just the same kind of chest pain I'd been feeling before.. and it's too far to the left/front to be heartburn. I find this interesting. Hoho~

They have to prick your finger beforehand, to check for iron and shiz, right.. But my blood started to bleed through the little bandaid they had... so I asked for another one, but when I pulled the old bandaid off, I wasn't expecting as much blood to be there as there was, so I leaned back and wouldn't look at it..
And the doctorish chick looked down at it for a second and was like, "Do you have periods?" And I was like, "Er... not right this second?" and then she was like, "When you get them... do you take care of yourself?"
I responded to her nicely, but I was thinking, like, OH NO I JUST LET IT SIT THERE. Or worse, NAH I GET SOMEONE ELSE TO TAKE CARE OF THAT FOR ME.

It was kind of annoying, honestly. One called me into their office, asked why I was there, took my blood pressure and temperature, and then left for like half an hour.
Then another one came and moved me to another room. They took my blood pressure again, listened to some pulses, poked at my throat and stomach, asked a couple questions, and then left.
After a long while (like maybe 45 minutes?) in which I could hear all the doctors talking and laughing to themselves in another room, another doctor comes in, leads me to another room, and takes some of my blood. Which creeps me out, really, especially since I don't know EXACTLY what will be done with it, and apparently whatever they ARE doing does NOT involve figuring out my blood type. -_-

I didn't even tell them everything. Not that it would've mattered much, I suppose, since I kept getting rotated between them. But it's kind of hard to bring something up when you find it easier to describe it in colors and sound effects rather than actual, you know, descriptions. Like the time I thought I was having a heart attack? I didn't even mention that.
But one of the doctors (the middle one) did tell me that I won't get heart attacks because I don't exercise? (lulz?) As in, since heart attacks are from a lack of oxygen, and you need a lot of oxygen to exercise.. yeah. But I've noticed that apparently I can just stop breathing and not even notice for a while!


The middle doctor said she doesn't think it's heart disease (because of the not exercising). I think she's leaning towards it being a thyroid problem, or a kidney problem. They're going to analyze the blood they took. They also want to do a urinalysis, but I won't let them do that right now. *cough* And.. I need to go to the actual, like hospital (I think?) to get an EKG and all that.
Also, it's uncertain whether or not I really do have high blood pressure or not. The first time they took it, it was like 130/70. (The norm is 120/80, if I'm not mistaken.) But I was nervous then. The second time they took it I was sure it would read normal because I was felt PERFECTLY FINE. But it was 150/100, or something like that. .____.

They said next time I see them they're going to do a full physical.

Last night, I was trying to read something for English. Now, normally, I don't go to bed until after 11, but this time I was reeeeaaaallly tired, like REALLY REALLY tired, when it was only just after 10. And my left arm was hurting like crap. Sort of like how my wrist was hurting before that one vein started to burn? Except this time was deeper inside my arm, and took over almost my entire arm instead of just one spot on a vein. Although sometimes it came up in the center of my palm. And the pain kept moving from my arm to my chest - as in, my arm would hurt, and suddenly my chest would hurt at more or less the exact same time my arm stopped hurting. It kept going back and forth like that, but it was hurting in my arm more than in my chest (more severe, and for a longer period of time).

So every now and then I'd check on my heartbeat. The nurse today told me I should actually be checking pulses like in my wrist or whatever, but what I wanted was the actual heartbeat itself. Most of the time I can't find it (the nurse said you're not supposed to be able to, but I didn't know that last night). So whenever I checked on it, I could feel it. Quite distinctly, actually; I could find it ANYHERE on my chest.

So after like 45 minutes or something of that, like I said, I was REALLY tired, and figured I should just try to sleep this off or something. But then I wanted to check my heartbeat again, like just to see what it's up to, and I couldn't find it AT ALL. And I was still thinking I would just sleep this off or whatever, but then my heart was like BAM. You know, like... palpitation? Except I've only ever had one beat out of place. This time it went on for a considerably longer period of time (but not more than a minute, I don't think...). Like, I could feel it quite plainly without my hand on it; I was sure that if anyone were nearby, they'd be able to notice it too. This one had a strange rythym to it... it was like, DUH DUHDUH.... DUH DUHDUH... Still, at first I was going to ignore it, but after it did that two or three times, I was like, "....onoes??" so I jumped off the bunk bed and went over to my dad, not quite knowing what to say. But he saw my hand was over my heart, so he put the back of his hand on my chest. And my heartbeat was still like DUH DUHDUH... DUH DUHDUH.. After a few seconds, my dad said, "Breathe." Apparently I'd completely forgotten to do that. XD (How long did I go without breathing...?) Then he told me to breathe more slowly/naturally, and to breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth and whatnot... it started to calm down before too long (like maybe 30 seconds?). But my arm was still hurting. So I went ahead and slept that off. Yeah.

This morning, I asked my dad what my heartbeat felt like to him, and he said, "It felt like you were in a panic. It was beating really fast, and spiked up some when you started breathing again, but then it calmed down. Funny how a little thing like breathing helps."

Like I said, the first thing I thought it was was Heart Attack.. so I looked it up this morning and some of the symptoms described do match... but I don't know for sure. >_>;

But we're going to see a doctor tomorrow, supposedly. So I just have to get through like 22 more hours.

YOU CAN'T JUST ASSUME SHE'S FINE!" and my mom was like, "Well, I AM going to assume she's fine." and my dad was like, "HOW CAN YOU BE LIKE THAT? DO YOU NOT CARE ABOUT HER AT ALL??" ....And she said yes.
A couple hours later, I started crying about it, 'cause I REALLY want to get this checked before my veins start burning again... that was really... you know, uncomfortable. And my mom doesn't want to take me at ALL. So my dad started trying to talk to her again because I'd started to cry, and he said something about she needs to talk to me and not just sit there and break my heart like this (interesting choice of words), and again she said she doesn't care. Oh, and then she said my dad's told me he doesn't care either, and he was like, "I'm too tired from working so much to be able to drive her, and then fill out paperwork, and then sit there and wait for like three hours. I never once said I didn't care about her health." But by then my mom had already gone back to playing her computer game. -_-

Well, I guess that explains why she's been acting so annoyed whenever I try to bring it up...

... Now what?

My blood pressure last Wednesday was 158/112. And I got it checked again on Friday; that was 162/98. Actually, this whole past week the symptoms have been worse than usual, AND I gained some new ones. -_- Like the the time my heart was pounding so much that I ended up not getting ANY SLEEP that ENTIRE NIGHT and I was able to go through the ENTIRE NEXT DAY without feeling tired AT ALL. (Somehow, that strikes me as almost being a superpower! ) And then the burning... That was Friday afternoon. A space on my left elbow started to hurt, not like OMG I CANT STAND IT hurt, but it was really... "annoying." And after a while, it started moving to other places on my arm, until it finally settled right on top of a vein going diagonally across my wrist. It was bulging out, which normally it doesn't do that but it's ALWAYS like that whenever my wrist is hurting (and sometimes when I do feel fine). It stayed in that spot for like ten minutes and then it started to BURN, right next to a little trianglarish area between the diagonal vein and a tendon/ligament/thing that goes straight down from my wrist to my elbow. Jeez, I didn't even know it was possible to feel like your veins were burning until I felt it myself. My dad was home by then, so I went and showed it to him, and he smacked it. O_O He said that would make the pressure go down. It did go away after a while, but it was long enough that I don't think it was because he smacked it... ._.

By the way: If I don't sign into DA for a week (2 or 3 if it's a holiday).. it means I either died or got hospitalized. But most likely the former.

But then she took my blood pressure. Which, apparently, is REALLY REALLY high. My dad was so freaked out when he came home, because the nurse called his cell (but not my mom's) and told him the actual NUMBER of my blood pressure. I forgot it already (XD) but my dad also said it was higher than the blood pressure of the old guy at work who takes meds for it. O_O
The nurse gave me some papers and was like GET MEDICAID NAO and shiz, but my mom just shrugged them off and was like, "You don't have a heart problem." Then my dad came home all OMGlike, and my mom was wondering what he was so freaked out for. And then they got into a small argument, because my mom was just like, "There's no problem. She's just stressed out." And my dad was DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE???

I thought it was pretty funny, actually.

P.S. I felt perfectly fine while I was with the nurse. Slightly nervous, seeing as I haven't seen a doctor since before puberty, but she was really friendly, which relaxed me. ^^ But my blood vessels have been twitching like crazy since Sunday. -_- Not like nonstop, but just... a lot. Several times a day.

P.S.S. I'm going to see the nurse again tomorrow; but after that it'll be a while since she's not there all time. She wants to take my blood pressure again, and she told my dad I should go see a doc within a week. Oh, and she said if my heart itself gets funny for longer than 20 minutes, I need to go to the hospital. But she also said I should be fine for a while; seeing as this started in July and I'm still alive now. ._.

My heart hasn't done anything particularly strange since we got back from Cali, except for the part where I can't find my heartbeat... But man, the things it was doing a couple weeks ago... ;o; I told one of my teachers about it, and the first thing he suggested was arrythmia (is that how you spell it? Too tired/lazy to look it up...) but when I mentioned some other things, he suggested vein-related stuff I don't remember.

I'm debating whether or not I should give blood. I've wanted to do that since, like, freshman year, because I don't know my blood type. -_- Like, nobody knows it. Plus, they probably have to test your blood first, right, to make sure there's nothing weird in it that'll complicate things or make the blood unsafe or whatever... so something might come up in that. Or if I pass out, that could work too. Because apparently, the school nurse only comes around like every once in a while.


School started yesterday. I can't tell which second period is worse, the one with the essays, or the other one with the essays.

Some people in Honors Physics are just utterly stupid, which makes me wonder why they even bothered with that class at all. -_-

Plus, all of us have heavy bags under our eyes. It's kind of depressing.


I'm working on the request for during my classes. XD I started on that one first because I thought it would go by more quickly than the one I need to do for Super, but it ended up being super complicated and technically I should be doing homework right now but hopefully I'll be done with both requests by October or something.

But... as it turns out, 16 was a pretty boring year for me. So now we're on to 17. Things ought to get considerably more eventful this time around, for various reasons. XD Life is coming (and going!) fast, and it scares me~ ;o;

Not going to be doing much to celebrate; in a few hours I'm going to see a movie with a friend I haven't seen (in person) since middle school, and then he's going to hang out around the house for a little while. I might convince him to read my manga. XD It's one of those complicated kinds that require you to be paying absolute, complete, total attention, so it's hard to get people to read it (ignoring the fact that it's pretty hard to get people to read anything, period).
