okeys on a brighter note, the newer series in jump isn't too bad... I really like akaboshi, its like my d-grey man replacement, next to Bakuman. Okeys yea, the whole suikoden thing isn't the MOST original thing in the world... nor is recruiting ppl thing. but man I really like the art! It is very nice [in my opinion] better than other series >_>

OMG I WAS IN A CAR BUS ACCIDENT!!
like I was on the bus, going to life drawings...
and suddenly my knee found its way forward to the back of the seat in front, and stopping me from moving any further up the bus. I saw like a car move infront of the bus...
and yea brakes and stufff, and thought we narrowly missed the car ...
and then BANG!!!
wth!! I like happened like a stop from my destination...
and I could have gotten off and just walked abit further to class....
buuttttttt luck would have it, the sky was letting loosing with rain... and I didn't want to get wet >_>
well actually I did... when I was crossing the street, it was REALLY pouring down. I had to sit through 2 hours with wet jeans -_-.... not pleasant.

Well animation is still as fun as EVER!! lol the sheen haven't worn off yet XD
We did a scene this week of some guy turning head and blinking, AT THE SAME TIME!!!!! [lol yes for us... it seems like such a big deal]
but I SWEAR that head... with the jawline, eyes, and eyebrows is based off my tutor >_< and like everytime when I see the last frame [that dude_{(to me)} looks like he was about to cry] and then I would try and imagine my tutor looking like that... then I wont be able help myself but laugh.

OMG I SO NEED TO LINE TEST MY TV.... been saying that for EVER but haven't gotten around to it >_<

for the next few weeks, I'll be busy with this assignment that they gave us.
We have to design our own animal characters... and then draw them in anime, disney and simpsons style.
lol the first 2 are ok... but seriously... every time I try to draw something that resembles simpsons.. it looks like its staring into nothing, or DUMB, or retarded, or high, or like it is about to drop dead. >_< CURSES.

okeys, next week, im going to line test [again] and this time actually save it >_< and then find TV, line test that as well... save and bring it back to show you guys hopefully!!!

OMG today I finished my hand drawn 2D animation week assignment!!!
Its like OMG I actually FINISHED it!!!!! lol I only started 2D animation this monday >_<
I can't even flip the pages properly.
anyways it was 46 frames of a tv bouncing across the page [_{lol I had to chuck out physics before I could accept that TVs could bounce >_> I resistend the temptation to just draw it smashed to pieces.. even if I cant draw that well -_-}]
But yea the TV bounced across the page!!
well we had to draw the in-betweens of the key frames that was give, but OMG the tv was so cute ^_^

haha it doesn't require much artistic skill to draw a cube ... but we had to squash and stretch it! so fun!!! I didn't get to line test mine X| I want to see MY tv bounce across the screen!

lol omg with my animation table/desk thingy, you know that disk, well if you don't know, just google image it or something, TWICE I like accidently pulled it out, the second time I jammed my finger >_>
no one else in my class seems to have this problem.......

BUT OMG zoo trip tomorrow!!! It better NOT rain.

Okeys!!! TODAY was the FIRST day at freelance animation school ^_^ 1st year CGI
OMG its just as AWESOME as I thought it would be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. climbing up stairs to the 5th level
2. tired from stairs due to ... er un-fitness

but yea omg I LOVED spending 1 hour outside, with a list of stuff to find and draw ^_^

the guys in suits were really hard to come by >_< they always walk away from view before I can get half a scribble down -_-

Well I managed somehow to completely let the time slip playing Okami >_< I swear when I last checked the time it was 10am.... the next time I checked... it was 3am... o.O opps is an understatement.

My cousin gave me this fruit flavoured candycane for christmas.. along with a whole other bunch of misc stuff... You know those yellow, purple, orange coloured ones...

Anyways, I forgotten how yum candycanes were! So the next day, along with my mum, we went shopping... okeys so I thought they would be like very easy to find, just go to ANY supermarket or something. So we did, but like there was none >_< we couldn't find ANY candycanes... o.o okeys next store! nope... and we EVEN went to a candy store!!!! NO CANDYCANES!!!!! WTF....

lol I suppose the more you can't find something... the more you want to get it!! Well eventually we went to the warehouse [this giant red building in NZ that has the slogan "where everyone finds a bargain"] Mum wanted to get some pots >_> and lol there along this tiny stack was CANDYCANES!!!! OMG it was like the first time I saw them on sale!!!

yea after ALL that I only bought one packet.. with like 10 >_<

I really want to try water colours again cause of and her AWESOME as pieces!!!, and actually bought masking fluid! just cause I wanted to try it
It took like 20 mins cause.....

OH yea... NEW competition for vex robots have been announced! it sounds like a challenge!

... as if Im not geeky enough, I go and drown myself in our school's robotics team... BUT ITS SO FUN! For all you ppls in America, you should know some bits. Its the "first" robotics comp thingy, and down here in NZ we're just playing with the little vex robots.

and Yes we're waiting for wednesday when the new game is going to be announced! so fun at these competitions we hold.
But man, we [some of other team mates] worked from 3-11 to finish the robot. I came some time later cause I had chess.

But yea it was fun ^_^ so glad we FINALLY got to do this here, and the ppl organising is trying to get ALL high school involved.
So tired after the competions... we didn't have much luck with both our robots... we had to TOTALLY redesign on the spot for one, and the other's 4 wheels came loose in about 7 secs in one round.

haven't done much drawing dued to HEAVY involvement in robotics.. And I totally forgot that 's contest "twist in wonder" ended on thursday! Hope they have fun deciding the winner... and co.

OMG and I started reading Nodame Cantabile [being the totally classical music geek I am] I was looking for a manga that involved music [not those singing things...] but like you know, playing instruments, but yea this manga is good ^_^ it even got me playing piano out of my own free will!!! [much to the surprise of my mum] but yea.

Changed the strings on my violin, "borrowed" Bach french suits from music teacher at school....

As you can see... Im pretty worn out from all of this!

Well I suppose I felt a sudden urge to study human anatomy, then I found this how to draw horses book! yay! awesome! more distractions from studying!!!!

more stuff! well I really REALLY like the look of paintings [speed paintings] anyways, so here I am, trying to paint on photoshop.... so not working -_- so going to paint more!!
and do more backgrounds!!! cause I can't draw bakgrounds if my life depended on it... well okeys, maybe then I would, for the sake of my life.... but until then, I can not draw backgrounds, or buildings for that matter.

I was looking at books in the library on buildings, and ppl thought I wanted to be an architect. Well I have concluded that there are NO good books for referencing on such matters. I'll just have to learn by looking at my house!

my room is like the second shadyest room in our house -_- I never get any sun, except in the mornings, for like 2 hours.... then its in the shade the whole day x.x

yay, its the holidays! I have 2 weeks worth of freed time! oh wait, take out 3 days, for homework... right so I have 2 weeks - 3 days worth of free time!!!

well Im pretty sure Im NOT going to do anything art related in uni.... well If im a failure, and cant get into the uni I want... then maybe I'll stick to art..... lol I could be like the art ppl in malls that draw ppl for some set price! but they're like all good at art..... hmmm ha! I can always do abstract art! [ If it doesnt look like you, its because Im drawing an abstract drawing of you ]

Well the bad news, is that after the numbing stuff wears off........ I have take so many pills, theres 2 antibiotic ones, and one for pain. [okeys thats actually not that many]

After today, its 3 antibiotic ones per day, one of some other thing to reduce swelling, and I dont know how many painkillers I'll be taking. [omg the anitbiotic pills are HUGE!!! how in the world am I suppose to eat those things??????]

yea, well atleast I can take it easy for today, and its the start of the easter holidays! well 5 days only... and what am I doing? physics homework x.x Have to make sure I don't dribble on it

okeys, back to physics! who knew everything is attracted to everything.... why must teacher give us work that we haven't covered in class!!!

so what have I been doing with my free time between homework, dinner, and bed???
its a secret lol well I think only 2 ppl actually know... but nah, its semi keeping me busy.

one thing I've come to the conclusion, that is I sketch things better than any other art stuff that I might do x.x well now I like have my sketchbook handy [approx about 5cm from reaching distance at all times] when ever I like read manga. Im hoping that by "trying to draw" like so and so, their talent will EVENTUALLY rub abit off me... kinda like me trying to clean fingermarks off my "shiney" trumpet, but they just wont come off...

anyways... now that I dont take art anymore x.x theres an increasing need to have some art "project" thing that I can do.... but there is none!!!! it just feels weird.... I need something which I HAVE to draw.... like homework! but not as brain numbing.

Well thats about it... hmmm, maybe I'll post some sketches just for the sake of posting something XD

I REALLY should be buckling down and studying for the NZ chess congress.... aka NZ chess championships, but I dont qualify to play in the actual championships... cause my NZ rating is off by about 200 points... and FIDE is off by like 70 -_- oh well looks like it'll be the OPEN tournament for me!!!

This year I aim to be......................... er. okeys wait, lets try again, this year my FEW goals is............................ >_> hmmm I think ONE: to get better at art, TWO: to get better at chess, THREE: decide what Im going to do in UNI.... oh wait, ZERO: to get into the chess olympiad team for the olympiad in germany this year! ^_^ okeys thats about it

Things have been really busy lately dued to stuff happening in school, trying to finish my boards in painting, exams, assignments.... etc basically school stuff. But Im here! right now..

Havent done much drawing at all in the past month or two.. well was suffering from brain block, but now recovering quite nicely.

I've started a series of doodles with doodles that I have done on refill... yes ruled lined paper.. because I can't find other paper to draw on... [I like drawing on refill!] the drawings are rough, unfinished, messy, smudgy, lol yea.. basically not very good, well tell me if you like one of them, and would like to see it finished in colour.

School options are dued like soon... and well I haven't really decided what to take next year.. or looked at what I want to do in UNI. Well I prob will take a science course cause im like thinking to taking all three advance sciences next year... [IM NO GEEK] But I think I would also like to try animation or something like that... when you like design your own characters and stuff......... [yes I am feeling creative right now..]

Oh well lets hope it all works out... If all else fails, I could like take some charcoal and paper and sit in malls offering to sketch ppl! or pencil and draw like cartoon version of ppl... [even thou im not very good at it]
