Well, it was anyway, until some douchebag reported me and had this 95-year old-about-to-fall-apart old man bitch at me. XD My mom was in the deli, so I rode over to her and was just sitting there and he came up to me. Convo time.

Accouncement! Yessah!

I've decided that after I've finished these 9 certain pics that I'm planning/working on, I am going to make a new dA account.

Why 9? It's kind of stupid, but I counted how many new pics one of my fav. artists posted on dA in one day, and it was 9. So I decided that I would have 9 new pics to post when I have my new account, yes.

Guys, I've really gotta apologize about how inactive I've been here on dA for the past month (or TWO ). I know I haven't been leaving comments on journals, deviations, ANYTHING lately. And I'm really sorry. I just haven't been up to the whole computer thing lately because of mainly these three reasons:

1. My NetZero is a complete BITCH, and when combined with an impatient person like me....yeah, the results aren't too good. I hate dial-up. I really just want a high speed connection like Road Runner or whatever...

2. Drawing has not been going to smooth lately.... It's depressing when you want to draw, but what comes off of the pencil tip is complete shit.

3. My scanner still isn't working... Though I'll admit I haven't been trying to fix it 'cause of no. 2. I bet it would work if I actually sat down and looked at it. What sucks though is that I do have two pics to scan.... a now overdue b-day pic for a friend (you know who you are? XD) and a pic of Elle Belle. *ahem* But I lost them, though. Don't hate me... I'mma find 'em...

I guess the fact that it's spring adds to that too. I just love being outside now after months of being locked inside because of snow. Aaah, I being cold.

So anyway, I think you guys should know that I'm gonna be taking a bit of a break from deviantArt until I have a few decent pictures to put up. Don't worry, it's not anything like a hiatus: I'm gonna try to comment on stuff as much as I can (don't hate me if I'm lacking severely here), but until I have a decent amount of decent artwork to put up here.... I'm gonna remain a bit inactive.

My plan is basically to get back into the hang of drawing again, and then start my requests that I know you're all just DIEING for me to start. xD I think there's still a spot open though... :/

AND I WANNA GET MY PART OF TEH COLLAB WITH TEH NATSURANESS DONE. I'm sorry you've been waiting so long for it.... I suck, I know @__@ I'll be e-mailing it to you soon, though~ really! I'm like....75% done. It's hard to draw your best when faced with an art block, and I want this to look really good so you totally love it and won't get sick of it when you color it XD You may brick or stab me if you want.

Hey guys! I'm finally back, tho' my NetZero connection has been acting a bit screwy. There's nothing I can do about that, though, so... Move. Ing. On. My message boxes are literally swamped with messages at the moment. Like I always do , I'll try my best to comment on everything--oh, who am I kidding, I'll just leave it at ALMOST everything at the most--but just don't be too upset with me if I'm lacking in that general area, m'kay? It takes a lot of patience and brain cells from this poawr lil' bean to muster up all that commenting....strength and energy and pep and yeah I'm playing with words so I'll shut up. Mm, I get the feeling this is gonna be a long journal entry... I can just tell. It's a ESPN thing, you know? Hah, but then I do always say that and the entry turns out to be this pathetic and dissapointing looking block-o'-text...

Wow, I love to hear myself talk....see myself type...whatever. You know what I mean, verdad? Anyway... I've got quite a bit of stuff to talk about, if my fingers can keep up with my mind. Ooh, let's see how far this little piggy goes...

First off is, my baby brother! He was born on Friday at 11 PM, right on the dot. It's pretty spiffy, because I was born on a Friday as well AND I was born at 11:31. How cool is that? Or, if he was born at 12 AM instead, basically the first or any hour of Saturday, he would've been born on the same day as my uncle Al and they could've shared a birthday or something....but sharing a birthday never really is that fun, anyway, huh? I know I don't like to share birthdays (actually I don't really like to share anything now that I think about it xD;...), but that could just be because I'm stubbornly selfish--yes, selfish, I'll admit it. Hmf. But yeah, his name is Francis Edward. No, that's not the whole first name, Edward's the middle name, but whenever my dad says it he says the whole thing like that so I kindof caught onto that myself. Here's a fun fact though: When my mom and dad got married or whenever this deal was made, they agreed that when they have children that if it's a girl, my mom could name her, and if it's a boy then OHWHATTAYAKNO! my dad could name him. And I've noticed that a lot of guys kindof have this fantasy whereas if it's a boy, they like to name the poor kid after themselves...which is what my dad did for 'Francis.' And then the 'Edward' part is my grandpa's _{he passed away} first name. I've gotta think of a good nickname for my brother... I just can't call him Frankie because that's what I call my dad (on a good day). Awkward. I also call him "The Fert." Cookie to anyone who can decode that and figure out why~ .

Before I continue, I just wanna point something out. I've noticed that Edward and Al are pretty much traditional family names in my family... Another spiffy fact, due to FMA (all hail FMA or die).

So yeah, he was 8 1/2 pounds and 21". Really, he doesn't look 21 inches long to me... But I do hate rulers, so it's to be expected I guess. I know what you're thinking--what kind of person hates rulers? they're just.../rulers/--but that's a whole other story. He was also born with a head full of hair which I just LOVE, because it's black with blonde on the ends and it's all spiky. Total rockstar. *sigh* I love him already... Pictures will be up soon, I mean, we've already taken so much pictures of him as it is. I video-taped on the Digi Cam the first time we put him in the car. I noticed earlier, that at one point you can see me reflected onto the car, holding up the camera. xD It's so cool, I just have to show you all. Oh, one last thing about him is that EVERYONE in my family says that he looks exactly like me as a baby. My grandma took one look at him, lit up, and said "It's Brittany's clone!". Everyone goes on about how they can't get over how much he looks like my baby self. When I was holding him, my mom freaked and said "That is sooo weird, it looks like you're holding yourself!" Fun, fun.

He's a pretty mellow baby, and according to my mom, he already has the same exact habits that I did. One is where I hate being put in my crib, and would cry and cry and cry until my mom picked me up. He does that--yeah, he's already getting spoiled. I'm pretty happy with it... I mean, I'm trying to change some things about it, but overall it's pretty okay, I guess. I don't know if others like it... I hope they do, even if it's just a little...

To post my art and see other people's art. xD And to make friends with people like me (I mostly meant, the people who like anime, from that statement). >> I mean, the people in my school/grade who like anime... well, I don't like them that much. Wait, "don't like them" is a bit of an exaggeration... But they're just so quiet, or antisocial! Oo I know I have my antisocial days where it's like all I wanna do is glare at people (any of you ever notice that the times you wanna be left alone are the times people feel the strongest fucking need to annoy the hell out of you?), but I swear, these people are on the verge of fainting or something when I try to talk to them. Liek, awkward? Anyway. Hm. Maybe they don't like me... That's depressing. Well, not really. xD I honestly don't care or just find it amusing when people don't like me. Okay, how did I get this far off topic...

3.) What's been your biggest struggle artistically?
Coloring. My coloring irritates me so damn much. So I do struggle with it. I mean, I'll be coloring a picture, twitching the whole time until I'm finally like "ARGH THAT'S NOT RIGHT!! WHY DON'T YOU EVER JUST FUCKING WORK WITH ME AND DO IT MY WAY!?! HUH? HUH!!" and throw my colored pencils at the wall. :/ Then I have to pick them up and apologize while telling them how much I love them.

4.) What's something you love about your artwork while drawing?
...Nothing really comes to mind. Honestly.. Hm. I do like the naked bodies that have no clothes on them. xD;; Seriously. That always amuses me. It's fun, like... I'll be drawing Ellie, and then it'll dawn on me that I'm drawing her boobs. It's just funny, to know you're drawing someones boobs, ect. It's like "Hehe.. I'm drawing your boobies 8D..."

5.) What's something you hate about your artwork while drawing?
I almost always start out with stick type figures, and I don't really measure things together as much, so I really hate when I'll be drawing the person's arm or something and I realize that it's too long or short or something. It just pisses me off.

6.) What annoys you about other artists?
It annoys me when an artist totally copies another picture. It's okay if you use a pose as a reference or something, I mean I do that sometimes xD, but when you've got the same expression/almost same outfit and hair or whatever going on... it's just like, frustrating. Really frustrating to me. I want originality in a picture, not the same thing with someone else's head slapped on. Put some effort in there! I also don't like people who can not take critique at ALL, and just bitch at you immaturely when you try to help them improve. >>

7.) How would you rate yourself?
Scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best... Umm. I'd say...a 3. But maybe that's stretching it a bit to far... :/ I mean, I've still got so much to improve on.
