I know I'm spamming journals here but I've decided to make a change to my fursona. Namid worked when she was just a character, Kagi is more for my wolven side. So Im changing her name yet again to something new. Xunau. I picked up the name due to WoW oddly enough, but its now stuck as a nickname. Pronounced Zoo-NO. My husbands nickname is Rockett and now mine is Xunau.
I did the colorgenics profile test that I saw in journal and was kinda surprised with the result. Im sure most of it can apply to the general population but truly it did hit the nail on the head.

~You have always longed for tenderness, love and a sensitivity of feeling into which you would like to blend. You are a very gentle warm person and responsive to 'All things bright and beautiful'. This personifies a caring person, a person who 'needs' and indeed 'needs to be needed'.

You are a leader and possibly at this tine in a position of authority, but you are experiencing problems. You are not quite sure how to handle the present situation.

You are a perfectionist in everything that you put your hand to. You are demanding and very exacting in the standards you apply to your choice of colleagues and friends -perhaps you demand too much from people. That perfection you seek in a particular person is illusive - perhaps it does not even exist.

It is said that we are all influenced by our environment and indeed you are no exception. It would seem at this time that even though you may be surrounded by people, you are experiencing an inner loneliness. Fortunately you are sufficiently strong minded to realise that life has a great deal to offer you and that you may miss your share of experiences if you fail to make the best use of every opportunity. You therefore pursue your objectives with a fierce intensity and are prepared to commit yourself deeply and readily. You believe that whatever you would like to do or think 'you can do' - you do! It is because of this attitude that you may be considered by others as arrogant and even conceited, but its fair to say that whatever it is that you really want out of life you will put your heart and soul into it and will not take 'NO' for an answer.

You have so many ideas that you would like to revitalise but you need to realise a stable and peaceful condition to do so. Once you can free yourself from all the aggravation and tension around you, you will make strides that may amaze you. You will not be prevented from achieving all the things you so desire.

Yep thats my name now! The wedding was exquisite. A few mess ups during the ceremony but we recovered well. It was absolutely beautiful even though I can't remember some of it. We just got back from our amazing honeymoon cruise. Key West was nice but too hot for me. I liked all the pirates out there; there was even one with a real peg leg! O.O We decided not to do any excursions because it was just too expensive for our budget. We did walk the majority of Duval St. the main street running the length of Key West. Lots of shops. Cozumel I really liked. It was friendly and heavily touristy but no-one was scalping you on prices. We did a tour of some Mayan ruins on the island for $50, half the price of the excursion being offered on the ship. We even could have split the difference between another couple and only paid $25 since the price was for 1-4 passengers. I loved the ruins. Though it was hot and humid we both enjoyed walking the full length of it. There was only 2 buildings that still looked intact and those were temples. We had so much fun on our Carnival cruise and got so spoiled! Food was available anytime of day and it was amazingly good! I think Andy hit the ice creams rather hard.. he put on another 10 pounds! The entertainment was great too and I'm not much for clubs. We tried the casino for the very first time. I turned $5 into $23 on the first night playing slots. The second round wasn't so lucky lol. A lot of the time we were in the pools, sunning or going down the awesome slide on the back of the ship! We are happily home now and now I get to go through the long process of getting all the paperwork for my name change..

This is my new horse breed, though for me they've been around since 2000.

The only way to get a purebred Draygloth is from my founding pair. Just note me if you want one and draw up the breeding pic. You get to draw the foals. I will be having foals from the pair up for adoption first come first serve. I will reserve one if you ask me.
Viper-[link] Owned by me Iridis-[link] owned by

Origin: These horses origins are unknown though it is suspected they came from the eastern deserts.

Appearance: Lightly built, prismatic equines with reptile or amphibian coat markings. Due to retaining the dragon genes, the horses have bright jewel-like coats with a mixture of hair and scales. Just like their coats their manes and tails can be prismatic or closer to a natural color. Both mares and stallions have backward curving horns in front of their ears, fangs, spikes that run down the length of the spine, and light colored eyes with slit pupils. The spikes run from the top of the head to the withers then pick up again at the hip down to the flowing tail. These equines have heavy scaling from throat to genitals. They vary in height depending on breed but are usually anywhere from 13-16 hands. Draygloth eyes have exceptional night vision due to reflective membranes in the back of the eyes. Fangs unfortunately could not be bred out but luckily cannot be grown past the bottom lips. They can still leave nasty gashes. Both genders have mobile dew claws on all 4 legs.

Stallions: The primary feature of males are their horns. If straightened out, they are about 12 inches long. Males stand taller than the females and quite aggressive. The horns adorning their heads are used in breeding fights. They lower their heads and lock horns trying to push the opposition over. They do fight with them in normal equine fashion as well which is why the males' throats and bellies are thickly scaled. Usable dew claws on the front legs help with grip during mating but can be used in defense.

Mares: Their manes and tails are usually brighter than the stallions' but the coat colors are generally more diluted. Females have much shorter horns, closer to 4 inches. Females also retain their dew claws but only for defense. They have longer fangs than the males.

Foals: Young are unusual because the mother does not have just one foal, she can have up to 3. Foals are born with soft scales and dew claws but without horns, spikes, and fangs.Newborns have dark coat colors that brighten to their adult colors when they are 5 months old. They depend entirely on their mother's protection until about a year old.

Care: Draygloth are high spirited and require lots of patience as they have only recently come about and are not very used to humans. Special care is required to keep one of these equines in good health and happiness. First, they are omnivorous and need the protein that fresh meat provides. It is prudent to keep the horns, spikes, and dew claws at a safe level. The scales need to be picked every once in a while to keep them comfortable. Extreme caution should be taken near to breeding season for both mares and stallions. Draygloths should not be near other normal horses at this time; they are far too dangerous and could potentially gore a stablemate.

Genetics: Those horses from the foundation pair are considered BL. Only purebreds will show all characteristics of the Draygloth. A Draygloth bred with anything else will have only a 30% chance of passing on the coat colors and pattern. There is a 10% chance of getting the horns or spikes. Dew claws do not pass except to another with Draygloth blood. Rare traits include the more reptile-like characteristics such as small non-usable dragon wings(only seems to be carried by females), scaled tails with no hair, saber fangs, fins running the length of the spikes, natural coat colors, dark eyes, fully clawed feet, full body scaling, entirely carnivorous diet, and different styles of horns or no horns or spikes at all.

We have just, and I mean this very minute, gotten back from our engagement retreat. It lasted from Friday to Sunday and we had to stay on campus the entire time. Most of it was absent physical activity and by the end of it my butt was asleep. We had to do it to get married in our church and so both of us were dreading the time. The thing I most hated was having to get up at 7am, us being nearly nocturnal, the schedual was terrible for us. The first night I could not sleep until about 3am. I had no idea the beds were so damned hard! My sleep was fitful and painful at best. Needless to say I was no happy camper the next morning when we were discussing(always sitting!) how to better our marriage and what it truly meant. That Saturday had to be the most trying. I had 4 hours of sleep(it was more like 2 for decent sleep)and we sat, discussed, talked, and sat some more. My patience wore thin by 9pm and I was snappy. There were many other couples with us over the weekend and we had a group session. It took longer than I expected and we actually ended up going to bed at 1am and waking in 6 freakin hours! Sunday the end is in sight! I had very little patience for any of the important discussions and I probably was venting. However, the talks Andy and I had helped to set straight some things we normally would not say to each other had we been home. Many key decisions were made this weekend that will help us in the coming marriage. Even after all the mood swings it still was worth what we learned. By god I am tired though! I still have to see Eric off tonight because hes leaving tomorrow for his station in New Mexico. I won't see him till the wedding, then who knows when next he will be able to come in.

Even with Viper constantly stamping his feet and trying to nip her, she seems content. Its almost like she breathed a sigh of relief when she was caught and brought here; like shes home again. Later on after being checked over by the vet and quarantined for a week, I personally turned her out into a different field from Viper, that way they might learn to like each other but not injure. A bright flash of color at the end of the small field caught my eye as I released the mare's halter. I knew it couldn't have been Viper because he was in a different field to my left. I closed the gate and kept a careful watch on the shadowed treeline but I never saw it again. Walking back up to the stalls I went to tell the staff what I'd seen and expressed my hope that it may be another of Viper's strange kind. If indeed it was, the breed needed a name. Viper had scales, and horns leading us to believe he was crossed with some sort of reptile; how we don't know. One of the groomers spoke up and called him a Draygloth. It was an odd name but it somehow sounded right. Draygloths it is. God I hope that little flash of color is a mare Draygloth... I want so desperately to breed more of his beautiful kind.
On another note; Evanescence has been with a trainer to see what she'll do. For now shes a trail horse. Not quite in shape for the more strenuous disiplines, but she is showing promise in reining. She likes to please which is a great quality. More on this later. Need to muck out the stables.

Darker blue runs down the head and spine. His pelt is covered in Navy splotches and spots with navy socks.
Discipline: Jumping hopefully
Passible Traits: 25%reptile pattern, White or cream mane and tail, 25% coat color, 15% scales horns and spikes if colt. Fillies may have very small dragon wings but this is quite rare.
Sire/Dam: Unknown
Bloodlines: Foundation horse
Offspring: None
Other: Hes not all bad. Once a person earns his trust through some major trials set by Viper, hes really a calm and sweet-tempered horse. Trainers need to make personal time with him to avoid misbehavior which could severely injure someone. He likes one-on-one time with me and is protective of those he holds in high regard. Viper's harrowing ordeal when he was a colt has fortunately left no scars, either physical or emotional. He does however think hes a human since the stable has had a hard time getting another horse as his companion.
For stud/lease: yes

[link]

His pelt is covered in Navy splotches and spots with navy socks.
Discipline: Jumping hopefully
Passible Traits: Some of the reptile pattern, White mane and tail, color.
For stud/lease: yes. Once I get him calm enough around people.

[link]

Backstory:

Viper came to us as a young colt. We originally thought he was some kind of bird lying there in the grass, that is until some loud noise spooked him and we saw he was some kind of equine. Something had set him off and he ran back into the deep forest at the edge of our little stable's field. I was curious to see him again so I set out bait to lure him in closer. Nobody knew what he was in the beginning, because no one had seen an equine such as him. All the regular bait didn't seem to work and we didn't see the little foal for nearly 2 months. I had nearly given up on him when I saw a spark of blue at the edge of the fenced off fields. It didn't look right. My instincts told me something was wrong with the colt so I grabbed up an old blanket and rushed out to the tall grass beyond the fence. First thing I saw was blood, some predator had taken a bite out of the youngster. I assesed the foal finding it to be male and very scared. His wounds were serious if not taken care of quickly; so I wrapped him in the blanket and brought him to the stable. Everyone was pushing to see my little bundle, to see what exactly he looked like. The colt, though injured, lashed out at anyone close enough with his sharp teeth. Thats when I found out he was more of a carnivore. The colt had small fangs! I'd never seen anything like this before and neither had the staff. I named him Viper for how quickly he'd try to bite or kick. He only acted calm around me while his injuries were healing. He used to sleep in a small pen located inside my house so I could keep an eye on him if he went critical. Looking back its a wonder we didn't lose Viper. Nobody knew how to take care of him. He came through and has been our shining boy for 5 years now.

Because of his temperment, the staff and myself have been scared to put another horse with him, but we do know he needs a companion and are feverishly working on finding a suitable friend.

Mares: None yet.

I'm not sick or anything, just trying to figure out why I've been in pain for 5 yrs. Yeah, stupid little incident with my ex landng knee-first on my ribcage. Suspected hairline fracture. All well and good except after a few months the pain didn't go away. Anyhoo thats the short version.
It gets better; I had a test done sort of like CT or X-RAY of my kidneys and they discovered something there. Compressed discs, nearly slipped discs, at the crucial lumbar section of the spine. This stuff usually happens to people over 40. Im only fucking 22!! Why is this happening to me?! Is this someone telling me I shouldn't be doing this kind of work? That Im not built for it? God I wish the pain would go away. Just some time without it!
Stupid shit.
Sorry for wasting you time, I just needed to get that out puplicly.
Just got back from a "pony party" I had volunteered for. It was fun leading the horses around with enthusiastic kids upon them. Boy some of those young ones are talkative! A friend of ours apparently does this every year; bringing 3 horses and 1 pony. Mayde is a Belgian and the tallest horse they have. All the kids wanted to ride her just to feel like their on top of the world. The 2 others were borrowed because the other horses probably wouldn't behave as well. I'm glad I'm getting used to them again. I love horses but haven't been around them much. I was scared of getting bitten. Body language is alot different than that of a dog or cat. So I had to aquaint myself with the horses to get over that fear. The whole time I got pushed, sneezed on, slobbered, lipped, and nearly stepped on; but it was still great. I told them I'd do it again for free whenever they needed extra people.

Well, its been quite a few months since I updated...Not alot going on except wanting to kill my boss. I swear, we butt heads over the stupidest things! He has no idea how to talk to his employees like respectable people and I happen to be his scapegoat. I had hurt my shoulder at work back in december; yeah I was hurt when I got engaged but he didn't know that. Reinjured it in January and have been on light duty ever since. They don't know quite what to do with me. I feel like ADI's maid. All I do all day is clean the place and then they have the nerve to tell my boss I don't work! I hate the place right now I want so badly to get out, but I make close to $12 an hr now and can't easily leave that. *sigh*
In other news, Andy and I celebrated our 1yr anniversary this past March 15th. (dating, not married) We had planned a trip to Florida to see my grandparents whom I've not seen in at least 4 years. It coincidentally was our anniversary the Saturday we left. It was a long as hell drive but well worth it to get away from 30 or 40 degree weather here in Louiville! It was high 70's and low 80's there. Too bad the ocean was around 60; it would have been nice to enjoy the beach. My grandparents were thrilled to meet Andy for the first time; they had heard so much about him. We had a blast that week. Went to Busch Gardens, Ft De Soto Beach, and lounged around the pool deck and house. My kind of escape.

Thanksgiving weekend my mate took my sister and I to Wolf Park. Website: [link]. I was supposed to go into the enclosure with the Main Pack as only members can do. (for our 6mo anniversary he adopted Tristan the pack alpha.) I was going to actually meet my sponsor! It was Cassies first time there and was amazed. I had to watch a long video about wolf behavior and the staff gave me tips on how to behave while among the wolves.
Im now so excited, its boundless. Finally after the tour around wolf park to see its other inhabitants (ie: herd of bison, coyotes, foxes, and more woves.) they called us in. I was supposed to be going in a group of 4 but some didn't show. I was the only one standing at the air lock. 4 wolves were standing there excitedly wanting to welcome me. As soon as I stepped in I was jumped by the Beta Wotan. The rest were happily sniffing around my person and trying to knock me over. It was so cold out I had to keep from shivering but I could just feel how soft their fur really was.
Wolves are much larger than dogs but its something you really can't see from behind a fence. Wotan especially, hes got to be 6ft from nose to tail! He was real friedly too. Ruedi I recognised as the one with blue- gray eyes, hes the omega and got picked on alot even for no reason. Wolfgang and Renki were milling about settling scores behind you in snarls. I wasn't the least bit scared suprisingly. Andy made jokes that I postured as the alpha female because she wasn't present. Wotan was standing there letting me pet him and he gave me kisses on the face.
The only one I hadn't seen was Tristan. The staff tell me he takes a while to warm up but its still rare for him to let you pet him. I treasure the moment he came up, stood parallel to me and invited a pet. I felt so lucky! Soon came the time to depart the enclosure and leave my friends for another day. I cannot express how wonderful it was. Or how thankful I am for this great gift from Andy.

Its not all bad though: I've gone to (or attempted) 2 weddings, Paramount Kings Island, camping in Beaver Dam, bachelorette party, (which was my very fist introduction to clubs!) and plenty of trips downtown to visit friends. Honestly there hasn't really been a weekend we're not busy. And to think I used to have such a hum-drum life! I just want to hollar hEY! IMMMM BAAACK!!!!

Theres a huge concert coming to Columbus OH; ZZ Top, Evanescence, Chevelle, Hinder, Velvet Revolver, Puddle of Mudd, and others I can't think of right now. We tried to get tickets but they were totally sold out... Somehow my boyfriend's sister got 4 tickets and the show is this Saturday!!! I can't believe it! Its gonna be a blast. I seriously can't wait for the weekend.

EDIT: Okay so that didn't quite go as well as planned... The car broke down somewhere around Florence 2hrs out. It looked like oil but it was actually transmission fluid. ><' I kept Andy calm and we had it towed to Pep Boys. We then rented a car and got to the concert in time for Three Days Grace. The concert was INCREDIBLE!!! And whoa Amy Lee can sing! Papa Roach had to be the most fun, with me and him both headbanging and screaming. Best concert experience since Snobowl in PA. Everybody I saw yesterday put on a great show, though I missed Breaking Benjamin cause they were the opening act.

This was the lineup: Stage One- Breaking Ben, Black Buck Cherry, Three Days Grace, Hinder, Chevelle, Velvet Revolver, Evanescence, and ZZ Top. Stage Two- Operator, 2 Cents, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, and Papa Roach. I don't have the sheet on me right now so I'm sure theres at least two bands I've forgotten. It was an amazing experience and one I'll NEVER forget!

Okay guys Im not dead just so you know. Art has taken a backseat to the rigors of life and I've hit an art block anyway. My sketchbook has been gathering dust since before the funeral. I miss my muse and time. Yes gods, time. It seems like I have no personal time at all between home and work. My job is getting into the busier seasons so I have to stay at least 10hrs or more *shoot me!* Weekends are highly cherished.. About trades, Wolf557 I know I still haven't given you your half; its still in the works. It will be done soon I promise. Sorry its taken so long. Well thats the sum of things and now I need to put my contacts in and head off to another dreary day of work.

He told me to get one just to stop bugging him O.o lol. He really shouldn't be complaining, Im going to get him an Xbox 360...He'll pay me back a little at a time.
It isn't the famous and overpriced Wacom tablet, but its a different brand and just as good compared; minus the bundled software. But anyhoo, I get to draw again, no waiting on a fucking scanner for new arts. Hell I have nearly half a sketchbook to put up here!
By the way, I totally love Ebay! got the thing for $80! 8x6 too!

Okay, I think I got everything figured out as far as prices. People have been asking about commissions and I hadn't a thing to tell them except that I'd think on it and let them know. Well for all who would like to commission me here are the prices.

Sketches-$5-15

Inked-$10-15 (clean lineart, I don't color with ink just yet)

Shaded-$25 and up

Colored-$25 and up (usually done with colored pencil)

You will have to bear with me because I do not have a whole lot of time, and methods of payment haven't been quite set up. Please do not bombard me. Thank you.

Okay, I've been told over and over to take my art to a career level. And I thought thats what I wanted. To have a workable job doing what I love. Isn't that what we all want? I fear that if I'm doing my hobby for a job I'll lose interest in drawing altogether. Yet on the other hand, I could do the projects and up my status as an artist. I don't want to lose my passion by trying to profit off it. Truthfully, I could give my artwork away. It makes me happy and want to continue drawing when someone appreciates it. Unfortunately I've been so set on being just an artist, I haven't really thought of anything else I might major in for school. Psychology and sciences are my favorite, but high school grades weren't that good. Computers are a pain in the ass and technology doesn't like me in the first place...
Does anyone else have experience with this? I know it depends on the person's choice, but any advice would help.

I got the news this morning that my baby Nanuk was put down for bone cancer. He was 10 years old, about to be 11 on the 25th. Everyone close knows the rest of us hasn't seen him for years. We kept him for 6 months about a year ago then my mother came and got him again.
He was just a little puppy when we found him, an escapee from some puppy farm up the neighborhoods. We found him in our trashcan which had been overturned in a Fl storm. Us kids searched for his owner but we all wanted so much to keep him. No one showed to pick him up so he was ours! Hes named after the monster of the north, not the beanie baby. This wonderful gift was the best tempered of any dog I had ever had. Great with kids, playful and sweet. He knew commands and all he wanted of you was to be pet or played with. He had a fulfilling life running around the old neighborhood with his German shepard girlfriend. He had a best friend who was a cat named Tuxie. When we moved to Pa he chased cows all day in all seasons. He had a wonderful life with a family that cared much about him. And happily to say even though he was old and sick, he never stopped acting like a puppy.

Rest in peace, Fuzzybutt

Second, I get written up for being late. Third, just when I think everything is going to be okay, I get into an accident. Rear-ended by some hick woman. No injuries I think, but whiplash like a sonofabitch. Sometimes I think I rival my mates bad days... The rear is crumpled, but it doesn't look like it from the outside. Thank god its still driveable! I was hit hard enough my fuel was cut and I had to be pushed up a damned hill to get out of everyones way. I swear, if someone was trying to kill me, they had better do a better job. lol. Thats 2 accidents in 2years.. my poor mate, he heard all about it and was worried sick. When he did see me, he about hugged me in half!

i miss myself. everyday i feel like my spirit is slipping. soul of a wolf, many friends would vouch for me on it.. it feels like i've lost the wolf inside me. i still have puppyish urges but thats about it. i've been so drawn into the web of man i've lost myself. i feel empty. realizing what i've missed every night when i sleep; i want to be someplace where im free. i think we all want that though. i wish, i wish someday ill leave it all. not a death, but a life change. i have made a world for myself, a cocoon, to insulate me from reality. we all do. we all want to live in this world instead of dealing with reality. its so much easier. but reality does come crashing.. years ago i discovered my wonderful soul, my spirit, that made life bearable; the rate of decline is too high. i fear i may lose that side of me in the ruckuss that is daily life.
