She and the driver of the pick up are dead, the driver of her car and another passenger are in the hospital. This is the second death of someone close to me within this month, and the third within two months. All poetry has been sucked out of me, and I cannot think of anything to say for her. What is it with this place? It is tainted.

I remember when death meant flushing a goldfish down the toilet.

She's dead now, but you never knew her.

I'm sooooooo fucking pissed.

I dropped my cell in a pool this morning.

It wont stop vibrating when the battery is in..and the screen stays blank. And It wont turn off unless I take the battery out.

The only good pictures that had ever been taken of me were on that phone.

I had amazing, beautiful pictures.

Pictures of people..and places..and things and expressions.
Wonderous things. I treasured them..and I was proud of them.

They were Art.

And now they're gone.

I want to cry..and I probably will.

I don't really even care about the lost numbers...my call list will never measure up to it's former glory..but I'll get at least half of the 90 or so people I had.

The pictures, though...amazing...terribly wonderful pictures.
I'll never get those back.
Ever.
Art only happens every so often. And I was lucky that I had capture so much of it.

next thing I know, it's 9am and the phone is ringing off the hook.
I rushed around, trying to shower and the like and just before I left, I listened to the phone messages that had piled up that morning.
I was terrified it would be my dad (He's a supervisor where I work, so my actions -somehow- reflect upon him) but it was just a dentist reminder..oh..and a girl who works with me telling me that the trip to another town my boss and I were going on was moved from lunch time to..NOW!
She said that since I wasn't there, I was going to go on monitoring duties instead..So I called to let Bria know I was coming in right away..
-No answer-
By the time I got to work (there were the usual mishaps..I was stuck behind some dump trucks and 18 wheelers..and OF COURSE there were multiple construction sites to repair flood damage) Bria and my boss were gone.
So now I'm sitting here, waiting for my boss to get back.
She's super easygoing and all, so I'm pretty sure she wont fire me or anything. But I'm sure to get a tongue lashing.
I hope I do..because I was in the wrong..
