I know that made no sense whatsoever, so I'll explain. My mother and father are two completely opposite people in mindset. It wasn't always this way, but they both changed from the time they got married to when they split. Now, I was still in high school when they split, but even then I could feel the complete difference in them, and in what they each felt was best for me and my siblings. I'm very bad at conveying my thoughts and feelings verbally, but my mother always gets what I'm trying to say. My father doesn't, but he's just as sensitive as I am, so he does understand how I function under emotional distress much better. Unfortunately, this gives each of them a very opposite view of how I am and what I want and need. The problem is, they're both right and they refuse to acknowledge that the other is as well. This will probably sound conceited, but I have the unique ability to look through someone else's eyes and understand for the most part where they're coming from. This is why I can understand each of them so well. I don't know where I get this, though, because neither one of them can. Neither even seems willing to try.

And I'm always the one caught in the middle. You'd think that at 24 years old, I wouldn't care...

God help me.

Still, I was stupid. Since I hated the job, I called out sometimes. It wasn't frequently enough to get me fired, but it did place me under the Wal Mart radar. Then, last week, I had an incident and wound up not calling out. It was an accident, but it was the final straw. My manager had to let me go. (I think she was sorry to do it though. She got really quiet, whihc is unlike her.)

I think I knew this was coming in a strange way, but there's no use crying over spilled milk. Need a couple days to get my sleep schdule right, then I hit the streets to find work. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
