ynamite" my phone , my preciousss got stolen on Monday. Someone took it out of my bag, which I'd left in the Pathology lab while I was giving my practical exam in there. Sigh.

And for the past two days I keep calling my number, hoping maybe this time the fucker who stole my phone will pick up so I can politely ask for my phone back (fat chance, haha). All I get is the automatedly annoying service lady who informs me (so tactfully!) that the number I dialed is powered off, please try later. Ah, shit. I loved that phone to pieces.

I don't think I'll be able to buy a new phone for another 3-4 months- finances suck. And frankly, I don't feel like buying a new phone at this point either. Someone steals something from you and your heart wants to vomit bile every time you think about it.

I look at expensive, pretty cell phone photos and wonder at the world that exists for them, shinyhappy people.

Ah, shit, man.

What reason(s) do you write for?
Honestly, because I'm not much good at anything else. Writing also helps me feel less like a hermit and more 'connected'.

Do you take your writing seriously?
A few pieces but generally, no.

When did you start taking writing seriously?
After I wrote Pax Nirvana [link] and The Slices of Your Bread [link] `leoraigarath and ~PureMind also kinda poke me into shape when I'm slacking off

Where do you feel you stand as a writer?
Still in the learning phase but I experiment a lot. A LOT.

What do you feel you do well? (ie, characterisation, dialogue, imagery, etc.)
Imagery, I think but I'm not sure. You tell me, people.

What do you feel you struggle with?
Specifically with grammar and proper word usage.

What do you most want to improve on?
How to really make my words sink their teeth into your neck.

Do you have any questions to ask your readers?

1. I want to be able to write like John Harvey some day. Jazzy crime-fiction that's beyond atmospheric.

At the track's end, he seems to hear her feet walk across the floor above: door to dressing table to wardrobe, wardrobe to dressing table to bed. If he went now and pushed open the door into the hallway would he hear her voice?

"Charlie, aren't you coming up?"

The final weeks when they lay beneath the same sheets, not speaking, not touching, catching at their breath, fearful that in sleep they might be turned inward by some old habit or need.

"Christ, Charlie!" Ben Riley had exclaimed. "What the hell's the matter with you? You got a face like bloody death!"

And in truth he had - because in truth that's what it had been like: dying. A long death and slow, eked out, a little each day.

2. Reading `PoeticWar 's poetry makes me want to crawl into a shallow grave and pull the earth in after me. It makes me realize just what's truly possible in poetry; everything that's considered impossible.

3. I had a crush on `leoraigarath

4. I wanted to be an astronaut up until I was 16. My eyesight took a turn for the worse after that and fell to -5.5/-5. I'm pretty freaking shortsighted, yeah.

5. I can't stand drug-addicts or people who smoke.

6. In 7th grade I experienced something that I still find impossible to describe. It was like reaching out to God and God reaching out to hold your hand.

7. My Dad once told me that I would have made a great fighter pilot. (He's one himself)

8. I have dreams of pressing my nose against the glass window of a spacecraft and naming nebulae after my mum.

Excited doesnÂt even begin to describe how IÂm feeling..

IÂve been a writer on this manga (which is going to be PakistanÂs first, I think) for a while now.. its been a hell of a ride..

And what IÂve learned from this experience is.. keep a bottle of moistening eye-drops near me when IÂm up typing away for Eidolon all night.. already have -6/-6 eyesight.. canÂt afford to go completely blind

But seriously..

Âs vision and dedication is what made Eidolon and IÂm proud to be a part of his team.. You the boss-man mashter.. *pokle for good measure*
