I'm definitely thinking the the smaller size (8.5 x 5.5"). I think that that, would work very nicely for these. Please let me know what you think. And these are not going to be available through DA. I'm going to have them made (IF there is enough interest). They should look really nice.

**And don't worry, I'm not going to hold you to anything if you say you may buy one.** When/if the time comes for pre-orders, I'm not going to contact anyone asking for it. But please be at least somewhat serious if you say you'd be interested. If this ends up happening, pre-orders will probably begin in September/October sometime.

I'm thinking, once I get my birthstones series finished, of selling a special 2008 calendar of them. I want to know how many people would be interested in buying one? I can only do it if there are enough people that would like one and be willing to pre-order one when I have more details. I would like to have them be smaller-sized, like 8.5 x 5.5" since they are being made from what are originally ACEOs, but I have test-printed a design I'm think of going with at the 8.5 x 11" size and it looks fine like that too, not at all pixelated. I won't be printing the calendars myself though, just to be clear. I just wanted to see if the design would work at that size. They will probably run anywhere between $13 and $20 be $10 plus shipping.

I want to know how many people would be interested in this, so I know if should even bother working on it any further. If I feel that enough people are willing to purchase one, I will show you some sample pages when I start taking pre-orders.


I have started on the next birthstone ACEO. I would probably have finished it by now, but I'm reading Harry Potter (I'm not done yet, so please no spoilers!). lol I'll get a lot more work done when I finish that book.

Sorry I haven't been around much the last couple of days. Thursday, I went to Cedar Point. That was really fun! I went on some roller coasters that I hadn't been on before. Most notably, the new Maverick, which is AWESOME!! And the Wicked Twister, that was another first for me. I was afraid of that one before, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I still haven't gone on the Millennium Force, but I really was going to. Some circumstances led to us not going on it, but I'm so going to next time. Now, the Top Thrill Dragster is another story. I'm not sure that I will ever go on that thing!! lol I'm not really crazy about the 400 something feet, 90 degree rise and fall at 120 mph! I may be going again is September. If I do, at least it won't be so hot!! It was about 90 degrees that day!

And yesterday I went to see the Transformers! I loved it! It was the first movie I've gone to see in a while, so I was relieved that it was good! I'd see it again without needing much persuasion.

Other that that I don't have much new to say. I started to sketch out the newest birthstone ACEO today. I have to tweak a couple of things before I paint it. I was going to work on this acrylic painting that I have going, but there were some little spiders that I seem to get every summer that decided to show up again. And I HATE spiders! So needless to say, that spoiled my plans for the day. Fortunately, I've only seen two this year so far, which is considerably less than in the past. I've been checking for them daily, because early July is when I always see them, and alway in the same spot too--my bedroom . Hopefully I wiped them all out before too many/if any more come. I sprayed around the windows with this spider spray stuff. It seems to kill them/keep more away at least until the next year. I wish I knew why they keep coming back. They are really tiny, I may not have even seen them if they weren't moving. *shivers* So I went in another room and started sketching out another ACEO instead, after I did some cleaning.
