Anyway, I have a question for you guys. If you someone looked at you art and said,"You traced that.." would you be offended or pleased?

I mean your art has been kinda been complemented while you were just insulted. In my opinion, the person just implied that they don't believe you drew that. But on the other hand, one can say that well my art looks that good that it's similar to a "good picture"....? What are your feelings and/or comments?

I ask because, someone said that to me today on a project I was doing for English. I wasn't sure to be insulted or complemented.....

My cat died this morning at the emergency vet clinic around 1:00am. She was in advanced stages of cancer and there was nothing we could have done for her.

It was hard saying goodbye. I'll really miss her. My other cat, her sister, keeps meowing and looking around for her.

Sorry her eyes are closed. She wasn't very photogenic.

Hmmm..........

I got a balloon at school from my friend yesterday and had to walk around school with a balloon saying Happy Birtday. So some random people I don't even know said happy birthday to me. It made me feel really special inside! Anyway, I got a Jack, 2 starbucks gift cards and $50. I was thinking about getting a new scanner with that money. Or printer. Or Open Canvas.

I haven't decided what I want yet, I'll have to Virginia and see what I get from the rest of my family.

Okay so according to my dad, my computer is dying, breaking completely collasping in on itself. (It's a good thing I'm getting new one!) Anyway everytime I turn on my computer it says hardrive failure. Or something like that. I don't want to send my computer to an early grave so I uninstalled all this stuff. (the only that was really important was photoshop, which is where I draw my pictures) I'm using my mom's laptop right now. Just to give everyone a heads up, I might not be checking my mail.... ART! If you haven't noticed I've actually been linearting my picture. Wanna know why? Because my dad finally gave in and let me use his super fast mind blazing slip second loading high definition widescreen samsung flap panel computer.... Wow. Instead of my using the piece of shit I'm using to type with right now.......

Anyway. So he said I can use it for a week, so every night, I've been up till three in the morning drawing my little heart out. Then wake up around 10 and draw until he kicks me off so he can do some work stuff or use his phone or something. (My dad works at home) Then, I usually have some sort of thing to do from 2- 8pm. Then I draw for another 2 hours and go to bed around 10 or 11. Depending on if I can keep my eyes open.

I think I can notice the difference in pictures. Can you, or can you not tell? Hmmmmmm.

Things have lightened up a great bit. I don't have so many projects due. But I do want to get my grades up so I can go this boarding school that has alot of foreign language programs. If you score high enough on tests and have good grades and after school activities, you get a scholarship. I've decided that I want to be a translater. I don't know what languages though. But I do know that I want Japanese as one of them. I'm also trying to become a foreign exchange student in colledge. (The whole foreign exchange student program with my parents did blow over to well.....)

I'm sorta scared to write down New Years Resolutions, because I always end up breaking them.

Ok here they go:

Stay away from drama online/ in the real world (My goodness this gonna be hard)
Draw consistantly
Complete a manga book (Working on that with Eliita)
Start thinking about doing commissions next year
Have a style and stick with it
Have 100 deviations
5,000 page views
CG to my liking
Convince my parents to let me have my comp in my room with internet
Have a diary that I write in at least once each week

OK! On a happier note, I reverted back to my old style from like 7th grade. And it seems it's alot easier to draw consistantly like that. I'm gonna try and stick with it. I did an entire doodle page. I'll try and put it up later.
I guess I should explain my NYRs.

I want to stay away from drama all together. I had a lot of it last year and I'm starting afresh.

Drawing consistantly... uhhh I want to beable to draw the same person, and have them look alike. Not 2 totally different people.

Completeing a manga book, to me, is one the greatest challenges in a young artist's life. I guess this also goes with drawing consistantly. So. yeah.

Have a style and stick with it. I have this problem with my style. Changing picture to picture. I want people to know that 's my drawing just by looking at it.

Wow. I don't know if I can make it to 100 deviations. I draw alot. I'm just to lazy to get off my butt and scan it in. Or upload it. I have a couple Pchats I guess I can upload later. Along with my gaia commissions.

5,000 page views. Ok so I only got 1k in the 1st year. I want to have atleast 5,000 by this year next year. I also am going to be more active. But I guess I already am since I get one every day.

CG to my liking. I am never have with my pictures. Either I don't like the style, or I don't like the CGing. Or the colors. Or something. The only reason I put them things up is because by the time I look at it, I'm already almost finished so I'm not gonna let 3 hrs of my time go to waste.

Convince my parents to let me have my comp in my room and with internet. I seemed to draw alot more when it was up there. Because I would get from school and go straight upstairs and start drawing since I had nothing better to do.

Have a diary that I write in at least once a week. I always have one, I just end up stop writing in it for about a month then I'll go an entire month writing in it again.


I know this is mostly ranting. And I'm probably not making any since but...............

Oh well. I think that some of these things you wouldn't completely understand unless you knew in person.

So I spent almost all break on my comp. Yeah I went to go see Happy Feet with Ravi-chan (Read more under Life) So spent allll day, and I mean aaaaaall day tracing and retracing random them to get my hands use to the tablet again. Because of that month long break. Well spent to days... and I still suck. I tried to draw nice picture as you can see, I failed. (Curse my unprofectionistic lifestye!) But I was rushing and I just wanted to submit something. I'll try and get every pixel in place next time. Just for you!!! XD

My Life
I swear I must look like this popular person at school because everyone keep saying hi to me. The werid thing is they're all guys..... well anyway... Yup I had a great thanksgiving. I stuffed myself silly. And I don't want to see another piece of food as long as I live. No actually that's a lie. Because I had lunch today.... Anyway. I'm extremely happy. And I have no idea why! Oh GAWD NOT ANOTHER MOOD SWING!!!! GAWAAAA!!! NOOO. -coughcough- But yea I went around prancing today saying good morning and I'm usually the depressed one. And everybody what like: Wtf!! My Life
Ok. So what's happening is I've been getting into these depressed states lately. I swear I'm not PMSing. But what'll happen is I can be really happy and hyper and then things will hit my like a wave. Then all of sudden I just want to go into a corner and cry. I stop talking. My brain stop working. I get spaced out. Staring at the ceiling or the wall or something. Not listening to word my teacher or friends are saying. Time seems to speed up. 1hr seems like 15 min. I get really depressed and then start starin at something and next thing I know the bell has rang and I'm still sitting there. No work done at all. Everybody notices that there's something wrong. Because they ask me all the time. "Is there something wrong? You're aren't your hyper self!" All this does is just depress me more. I have some idea. But I'm not going to sit down and spell out my entire life story to just someone I talk to in class. I'm not the sharing type. The person who I usually hang out with all day isn't surprised why I'm miserable. I'm sure she's been expecting this since last year. Things have been building up. And it seems like it's all just really hit home lately. I'm a good actor. I can lie extremely well. And put on a fake smile. But when I get home. I shut myself into in my room, finished my homework and read, play PS2. I feel completely usless. Like I'm taking u space on this Earth and I have no purpose. I feel stupid. People constantly tell me I'm stupid. Some of my friends say I just don't think things through. I do, I just think differently than everybody else. And just because I do things differently doesn't mean I'm stupid. My friends are on the edge of war. And guess who's stuck in the middle? ME!! I try to be nice and make everbody generally happy but I can't do that. This person is talking about this person. And they tell me and they want me to talk bad about them too! But I learned my lesson last year. Don't say anything about anybody! (Well outloud) I get really frustrated with my art because I don't feel that I'm very good. It it aggravates me. I'll do a picture but end of destroying it because I don't think it's good enough. I can't make my parents happy. Especially my mom. I'm never good enough for her. I'll never be as precious as her wonderful son. Everyone says I'm being over dramatic. But it's true. My mom really does favor my brother.
Ok back to the original problem. This whole depression mood is really killing my friends. It annoys them too. They'll ask what's wrong and I don't answer and they'll keep asking and asking. But that would lead me to talking alot. I just wanted to be left alone. But they thinking I'm on my period. Anyway..........I guess right now I just need a little more love than I getting (none)
Hmph..........I could still go on but I'm sure you're tired of listening to me rant. Goodnight.

I finally got back on my gaia and started trying to get some gold so I can make a pretty avatar and do some commisions to promote my art. Because, I have nothing else to do other than draw people pictures and procrastinate on my homework.

Hope mewwea and ravigan have fun going to the play with out me.
YAY mewwea's back in town!! Hope you'll stay until tomorrow, hun! Cuz I'm can't go. I was planning on going to the football game. Or go to the movies, but I found out no one's going. But I'm ok staying in the house this weekend. I mean last weekend was crazy. I think I'm only aloud to have 1 fun weekend a month. Oh well.

I'm getting behind in my drawing. I didn't want to take art. I don't like being forces to draw. And I don't think I could stand drawing everyday. Anyway. Ravigan said it was really fun, I might take a out of school class next year when they start. Or over the summer or something. Or progress on my own.....Hmmmmmmm

I never knew learning a language could be so easy! Well, maybe it's easy because we just finished learning the basics. But for the most part, you just need memorization and the will to learn it. I want to learn spanish, so I pay attention in class and memorize it easily. But if they had Japanese. Let me tell you know, I would be learning it in a hot second.
So drawing...I haven't done that in soooooo long! I've been working like crazy. I put my computer up in my room so that I can draw more easily and freely at night, but lately I've been getting so frustrated with me art. I end up just deleting the whole thing and going to bed pissed off. If I'm not active for a while, it's because my computer is upstairs and I have to share the laptop with my mom and she's a teacher so she's on it almost 24/7! But I hope the next picture I update will be worth looking at.
We're celebrating my birthday 2 months early!! Actually the only reason behind this is that I wanted my present early. I'm hoping either: I get a real phone or a ipod nano.

Almost only 2 weeks left until school starts. *sighs*

I'm only $29.95 short of my tablet! I've been working so hard. I've decided I'm going to get a small one. I don't really need a big one. And I'm sooooo close!

I drew a couple pictures but I'm too lazy to upload them.

Making some big changes to my computer. First I'm adding a 40GB Hardrive. So I have more room. And I'm moving my comp upstairs to my room. My parents (being the paranoid things that they are) won't let me have internet in my room. So I now have to share a laptop with my mom. (Like that's going to work) So I don't think I'll be checking my e-mail much anymore. But that's all when I get my tablet. So that might not be for another 2 weeks or so. Maybe when school starts. WHO KNOWS!? Let come what may.

Just got back from my "vacation". Yup I went to my grandmothere house and stayed there with my younger brother and my dad for 3 days. No cable TV and no internet. IT WAS HORRIBLE!!! But at least I had my PS2. And my gameboy advance SP. And my mp3 player. And books. Those kept me entertained.

We rented Red Eye. I enjoyed it very much. Very suspenseful. Probably will watch: Memoirs of a Geisha (sp?) tonight. My mom rented it. Hope it good. She said we'll wtach it togother.

Well for once things are looking up. I hope with my tablet and my extreme bordedom that I will get good enough to do commissions. I mean it being up in my room and all, I'll probably stay up late and draw. But knowing me I'll get fruastrated and go into some sort depression and won't draw for a month.....

I'm rambleing....

Anyway, my father was worried that a tablet isn't what I need. He thinks I'll be disappointed. I too was questioning myself. Asking: do I really need this? Will I get better with it? Well slept over at a friends house and tried out her tablet. And all my questions were answered. Yea I was shaky but I'm sure with alot of work, I can perfect it. And become a whole lot better that I was.

I'm breaking my vow of not posting anything, I think I'll post sketches.

I tried to start a manga. Stayed up all night drawing and toneing and such...and then I got fustrated and ripped it up... Now it's in shreds on my floor...What a mess. For mothers day, we got my mom the Lord of the Rings extended version of Return of the King. So all day we've been sreaming: "HEY!! I DON'T REMEMBER THAT!" And having periodic fights on what was in the regular version. Needless to say, we will probably be back at the store buying the regular version to compare. XD

My art isn't progressing as I wanted it to. I'm trying really hard but I have decided that I'm going to get a tablot before I try and perfect this style. With a tablot I should beable to get Photoshop elements. Instead of this stupid generic-name-brand gimp.

I've just bought my favorite book ever! Twilight by Stepenie Meyer. My friend mewwea let me borrow it. I love it so much I had to go out and buy it so I can read it over and over again.
The sequel comes out in October.

Some of my friends have been telling me that I should tryout fo a movie of some sort. I really don't think I'm that great. And I'd have to take classes and everything.

People also tell me I'd be good at gymnastics. And cheerleading. I quite. I don't want to deal with the sterotyping people in highschool.

I got this private Ragnarok server. It's like Ragnarok only free. I''m not completely sure how it works but it's better than having to pay.

Money. Which reminds me. I've been meaning to get a summer job. Babysitting of some sorts. Then I'd beable to buy some commissions from somebody.

Schools been going great. I'm really close to having a real boyfriend. It's sorta sad for me cause all my other friends are getting boyfirends and i'm just watching them go by... Anyway. Back to drawing. I have a new style of drawing. I'm trying to perfect everything so it might take a while for a real deviation to show through.

I've been working real hard to get a PS2. So that I can get Final Fantasy X Final Fantaxy X2, and Dance Dance Revolution. I'm not entirely sure that I'll be able to get that for Christmas, but I'm sure that my parnets will get me Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children. *Sigh* My gosh I want them all. But there is a problem. One I don't have a PS2 so you can just scratch Final Fantasy X, X2 and Kingdom hearts off the list. Then we have this left over anime that use to come on Cartoon Network a long time ago. The problem with this is I don't have any many. So no anime DVD for me. But I did get another movie that I've always wanted. Princess Mononoke. It wasn't as great as I remembered it, but it's still good. Pita Ten is a manga comic book series that I have. I love it so much that I want the DVD. Maybe I'll buy that first when I get enough money....Hmmmm. DN Angel, once again a series I love so much that I want the anime. My friends has digital cable. She can watch alot of anime if she wants to. Sucks not having Digital Cable.
