The subtitle (Desperate Struggle) makes me extremely fearful of a DS title, but I hope to goodness Suda doesn't do that to us. I'm sure it would be good, but I want him and Grasshopper to flesh out Santa Destroy better! We need a larger level of interaction and more zany antagonists!

Oh, man, I did not expect to hear anything about a new NMH for a long time (if ever). My wii may actually get some use once more. It's kind of sad that the only two games I have on the thing worth playing were Twilight Princess and No More Heroes. Brawl and Metroid were alright, but they were basically just the same thing again. (not that zelda wasn't, but it was just a good game).

Well, my lappy is up and running. I dunno what was up. I don't think anyone knows!

Regardless, mgs4 is releasing so soon now I can taste it... That, or that's the taste of blood from a hemorage in my head. Anyways, my gamestop is 100% not opening on midnight. I have to go get it at 10 am the next day.

I'll see if I can't make a movie of it. The worst part is I have to work both lunch and dinner shifts at work that day. So no playing it for me! Luckily, I have friday off, so that's at least something good.

Sadly, I'm being scheduled even more now since we've had four people leave this past week for various reasons... It sucks.


Well, I guess I'm going to have to ditch GTAIV for a little bit, and get in to MGS4 mode. It's going to be bothering me that I haven't beaten GTAIV, but it must be done!

Metal Gear releases within the week!

Sadly, I won't get to really play it for some time.... I got a job at Schlotzky's [link] , I have a summer course that I'm taking online, and I'm trying to fit in drawing/reading every day. Needless to say, I get around an hour or less to play any games if at all.

I'm still waiting on my laptop... I scanned it with three different programs but none of them turned up anything, so I took it to a computer place to do my dirty work. I just haven't gotten a call from them yet....


The worst news of all, though, is that my gamestop won't be opening on midnight for the release of mgs4. : (
Kotaku posted a list of gamestops that would, mine wasn't on there, I asked the workers at the store, and they said they would not be opening on midnight. Well, while all those other people are out getting their copy at midnight around town, I'll be getting my limited edition copy the next morning at 10am.

I think I'm going to try to do a "camping out" video for it like I did the wii. Unless I have to work that morning.... In which case it won't happen.

LOST season 4 has an official airing date now; January 31st 2008 at 9:00/8:00!
Sadly, it's also on Thursday night now instead of on Wednesday nights like it used to be. But! Good news from that, also, is that it will no longer be running against American Idol, and it will now be following Grey's Anatomy. Let's hope this will boost viewers in America.

I got a little crazy and made a lame thing for my journal for it. : \

Also, Canadia did get Western Air Temple early! The episode kinda sucked, but at least I got to see it.

I tried system restoring twice this morning, but they both failed. Luckily, I tried a third time moments ago and it worked. Tried lots of virus scans and spy-ware scans, but nothing showed up.

I had been bored. Well, honestly, it was more of a desire to stop doing the mind-numbing work that my boss had dropped off for me on my desk.

This was something more worth my time. I had gone to a website with a giant list of phobias, and I had copy/pasted the ones I had into a word document. I had forty! I was pretty impressed. Most people think that they've got some serious problems going on with them only having a couple of phobias, but what person did I know that could top forty? I have to admit, I hid them rather well.

I couldn't choose between hedonophobia or philophobia as my best one.

I've never been a person who liked to have fun. I suppose that's why I ended up here. I just always sort of thought that having fun was something that football players and cheerleaders were supposed to do. Of course, philophobia would be a much better one to share around others. They'd be sure to pity me. It'd be great.

I got bored and started working on the stack of stuff my boss had left for me.

I thought about how cool it'd be to drop one of my horrible phobias I suffer from into a conversation. People would really feel bad for me.

I went home and had a small, frozen chicken pot pie that cost me sixty-seven cents. Then, I had some cake. I haven't used candles since I left home.

My brothers were born as twins, and they decided it would be more beneficial to their own survival to stay that way. I kinda wished they had become like those polar opposite kids you see in movies. Not like those Olsen kids.

One week earlier, I had been staring at the door to my dorm room. It was my first day back to college and as a sophomore. It had just suddenly hit me that I was growing up. I was turning twenty in a week, I would be out doing a job for some horrible boss in two more years.
There were marks all over the door, and little shards of scotch tape sprinkled all over the fake wood. I wondered who had been there and what they had hung up, and what might have caused the scars on the door. The only one present who could give testament to that was the door, and that just seemed silly. A door could never tell me what I wanted to hear.

“Here’s fifty dollars, go take your brothers to the mall, and let them shop around. Find yourself something to buy.”
She slipped me a fifty also.
I picked my coat off of my chair, kissed her on the cheek, and the three of us piled into my rickety little car.
“Let’s go to radio shack!”
“Yeah! They have cool remote control cars!”

If I had ever had a girlfriend, I don’t think I could have hacked it. I just don’t have it in me to know how to be a boyfriend. I don’t even know if I should kiss a girl on the first date. I suppose you should, but I guess it’d only be appropriate when walking her to the door. Do people even do that anymore?
There was a girl I really liked in my biology class. She sat next to me one day, and she needed a ruler, and I let her borrow it. We were making graphs on panda populations. She was really sweet, and I always hoped to sit next to her every day in class from then on. It didn’t really work as well as I had hoped, but one day we sat next to each other and had a really good conversation. I decided I was going to try asking her out the next day. It’s weird that I was a freshman in college at the time, and I had never kissed a girl. I still haven’t. I wonder if that’s normal.

We pulled up to the mall, and the wonder twins started running around the parking lot yelling about some robot that could fire little, plastic darts. It made me smile to see them again. It’d only been a week, but my mother demanded I come back to visit for my birthday. I didn’t mind, well, other than money on gas. We went into the mall and my brothers ran through the food court to the Radio Shack. I stood outside the door watching them to make sure they didn’t break anything, and that they didn’t go running off into the mall without me.

The night before I was going to ask her out, my best friend asked me to go to a movie with him. We headed over to his room to get his wallet before we left, and he told me that his roommate had his girlfriend over. He opened the door to go in and accidentley walked in on them making out, and he apologized and made it into a joke. I stood in the doorway trying to avoid eye contact so as not to make it anymore awkward, but I had to see who his girlfriend was. It was miss biology. She said hi, waved at me, and I returned the act. I tried to play it off and left after we got the wallet. His neck was covered with hickies the next day.

The two of them came over with some tyrannosaurus-rex toy, and I walked up to the counter to pay for it. I didn’t really feel like buying anything, and I decided it’d be better to just save the cash. I told my brothers we’d just walk around for a while so mom would think I actually did look, but just didn’t find anything to my liking. As you can see in my new footer, No More Heroes is being released in February. It didn't make the 2007 release date like Suda predicted, but at least it has been dated. I am so excited for this game! You should be too!

Well, I think I'm calling it quits on the stupid 100 list thing. I gave it a try and every time I would visit my page it would make me cringe at the thought of doing 80 something more pieces of things that I didn't want to do. So, now, I'm just going to do what I want to do. whee!

As of tuesday, I'll be going on my last family vacation to ruidoso, and I won't be back until later that week. Soon after that, I get to go to college... hooray responsibility!

Going away for a couple days as of tomorrow. I have student orientation at WTAMU, and I should be back on friday. Hopefully I'll take some pictures or something. Thank God I got the problems of who I was rooming with fixed. I put in my application to room with Darin, but they didn't do it. Then we had to go through this simple, but agonizing task of getting our respective roommates to say they didn't care about rooming with us so we could room with one another. It took forever, but it's finally sorted out. \o/

Hylas and the Nymphs is a good picture. Probably my favorite of all time.

Resident Evil 2 and 3 are in my possession now, and, thus, completing my collection of the (plot related) Resident Evil series.

Drawing is so much fun, but it's so hard. I love it.

Okay, I finally got around to seeing spiderman 3 today. I don't get it. How is it that the critics don't like this movie? Sure, it pretty much ignored the original story, but come on! This was actually a decent film! I think it's my favorite in the three so far.
SPOILERS! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! (wait, I'm like two weeks late...)

I really, really, really, don't see why they decided to off venom so early on. Not to mention they never even said his name in the film. >_< What's up with that?! I suppose I won't be getting to see my beloved Carnage after all... Oh well....

Something interesting occured to me this week. Just about every character in a book, show, or movie that I relate to is either killed off, or disliked by others in the show or real life. Take Toby from the office for instance. I relate very strongly to toby, yet everyone ignores him, and michael hates him. Sadly, now, Charlie is going to be leaving us... (as much as I hate to admit it, the signs are all there. I mean, the friggin' DS ring was left in Aaron's crib for crying out loud.) So many people hate Charlie and that makes me really sad, cause I always saw him as a really good character that was never really able to flesh out his great story because of other people and their daddy issues. I dunno, just makes me sad that my favorite characters are always pushed aside. : (

Anywho, other than that, graduation time. I suppose it's time for me to leave my twelve years of preparation and go to college. I'll be rooming with and next to my two best friends, so that can't be too bad.

It's kinda odd still, thinking about going to college. I'm at one of those points where I think back to when I was younger and saw people my age as much older and such. I just don't feel how I pictured them. I think that's pretty consistent with everyone, but it's still odd.

Other than that, I suppose, it's time to stop talking. Go watch Gurren Lagann, and say your farewells to the best british-rock-god-on-tv. Bye, Charlie.

My measley 3 hours and 30 minutes into the new Pokemon Diamond game, and it has already won me over. It is amazing.

I haven't really played a pokemon game since Blue version back in the day, but this is so much fun. The normal game itself is decent, but the wifi is where it is at! I just played against

and it was lots of fun! The voice chat is a great accessory to it, and really made it worth while. Especially hearing eggy sing and taunt me. .....wait a second.......
Anyways, if you have a DS, pick up Diamond or Pearl.

I've been working too much on sketching and drawing to get around to doing this 100 list thing lately. Hopefully I'll do something before too long.

Anywho, back from Houston (traumatic experiences and all). Didn't win, oh well. Most everyone who did win were just photo copiers. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just wish they'd put some originality into their work.

Never got to see Letty or any of my other friends... ;_; And to top it off, I'm still not better yet! hooray!

It was a decent trip none the less. Aside from a very frightening flight up there (turbulance that caused people to be vertically ejecte from their seats), a crazy lady we thought had a knife, and two very disgusting tigers (that were also real pretty) it was a nice time.

Going off to Houston tomorrow. Getting on an airplane. *cringes*
I really despise flying on airplanes. I feel so utterly helpless and in harm's way. It scares me to no end... But! I may get to see a couple friends, so that's good.

State art contests are overrated. >_>

If I never post anything ever again, I probably died in a horrible flight incident. Let's pray I don't.

If you haven't heard the terrible news, a wonderful writer passed away as of yesterday. Kurt Vonnegut died due to complications from a fall he had not too long ago. His literary contributions are sure to remain for ages to come and touch people throughout the years. He's mainly famous for his book Slaughterhouse Five. It's almost eerie that I'm reading SH5 at the time he passed. Anyway, rest in peace, sir.

In other news, I'm crazy obsessed with Trigun again! One Piece and Trigun obsession can only lead to more pointless fanart! \o/
I need to do something more worthwhile with my arts.

I just wanted to start off by saying how much I love naruto. This week's chapter was so cool! I love that new girl with the glasses! She's so pretty! And the way her and sasuke acted was just so funny! I can't wait for kishi to get next week's chapter out!

Okay, so most people go places during the summer after they graduate from high school... I finally decided where I'm going to be going. I'm going to the fantastic land of japan! I'm gonna go see kishimoto's house, and I'm gonna try to buy some naruto things while I'm there too! If I'm lucky, I might even get to see the master, kishimoto! I'm gonna tour the city, and overall just have a good time!

I'm going to try to make a naruto cosplay suit before I go, so if anyone has any tips, please tell me!

I had an interesting school picture day yesterday... My class was the last class of the day to get our pics taken, so the photographer was all "you guys can take fun pics and stuff." I just got my picture taken and sat down. This one guy in my class asked me to get my picture with him, but people were blocking the aisle to go back to the front of the auditorium to get my picture taken. So, in my genius, I swung myself over the row in front of me and struck my foot on the metal chairs. My foot was kinda throbbing real nice for a while, so I thought I was probably bleeding or something. I took off my shoe and sock to find I had snapped my (ring?) toe backwards. It looked really cool, but seeing it almost made me pass out. I went to the nurse and got my toe snapped back into place, and now I have this real horrorshow bruise ring around my toe.

But! Today was awesome! I got the new Relient K album! Only problem is that my mum managed to crack the cd case within minutes of purchasing it for me during school. It is very, very good. I'm so impressed with the amount of growth between this album and mmhmm. These five young chaps are quite cool fellows. I encourage you to go buy Five Score and Seven Years Ago as soon as possible. Deathbed alone is enough reason to get the cd. It's an eleven minute ballad of pure grace. Quick! Out the door and towards the destiny that is K!

And now, time to go write that paper over Kashmir. And, yes, I did pick Kashmir solely because of the song Kasmir by Led Zeppelin.

Okay, so really, this journal is to get rid of that massive one I had. I'll just say something here or something. I got accepted into college, wii! LOST was amazing tonight; I was actually scared tonight. Usually, I don't get that way over television, but when hurley and charlie were going down that hill.... oh lordy! Excellent episode; the writers have proven that they can write for both ends of the spectrum. Wonderful episode.

Oh yeah, I posted that picture thing too.
Also, go watch the Black Donnellys on NBC on march 1st. It's the encore of monday night's episode. One of the best shows I've ever seen, and it's just the first episode. Go now!

Well, the Wii comes out this Saturday evening. Or Sunday morning. However you wish to see it. I dread the week after the PS3 and Wii come out. Youtube will be filled with videos of idiots going to waste their money on a console just to smash it. Seriously, how retarded can you get? If you don't like them, then picket outside of walmart; don't go wasting your money on something that could be of some use to someone else. Try using that money in a way that could actually benefit someone else; go feed a homeless person.

I don't have anything against the other consoles, I just prefer the Wii.

Thanksgiving swiftly approaches and reminds me once more that I should be more thankful for what I have on more than one week a year. I guess it's just hard to appreciate what you've got. I sure regret not cherishing my friends and family in Borger before I moved, and the same for my friends in Houston.

I have a movie (actually two) in the works. The first will premiere on Saturday morning and the second will hopefully be Sunday or Monday. I'm sure it will be impossible to guess what it could be about.

Yeah, everyone is putting their opinion out there, so I should too. It's the popular thing to do. I don't like the new layout.

Anyways, my two best friends are going to be visiting here for the next few days. Sadly, they leave the day before I return to the abomination of a facility the government and community calls school. I can't wait... Another year of being stuck in an art class with a teacher that has the expectations for a piece of art and eighth grader could do. No offense eighth graders. Well, I'm supposed to put up 10 things about my art.

1. My art sucks. Yeah, lame, I know.

2. I like sketchy work much more than finished looking pieces.

3. I do my best work when watching tv.

4. My art is permanently stuck between cartoon and realism. It will never be one or the other. ;_;

5. I can't draw for assignment.

6. Not really good at men or women, but I think I prefer drawing men. They don't look as ugly as my girls. That makes me want to cry.

7. I draw my eyes too big and hands too small. Like nobody hadn't noticed.

8. I have never been able to draw something I feel. I'm trying though.

9. My "random guy or girl" always looks the same.

10. I draw the most at night after a shower when I'm watching jay leno. >_>
