Anyways, I only just got on the internet for the first time yesterday on my friends iPod touch but I couldn't really do much from there. The computer is back now though. The thing is, there was some kind of power surge, which is what crashed it in the first place, and it wiped the hard drive totally. So basically we're starting from scratch here. It was a good excuse to update everything but that hardly makes up for losing 5 years of files. Which I'm really pissed off about.

And I did back up some stuff on my horrible laptop (which doesnt have internet obviously or I'd have been on it). I just lost all my pictures from my camera which was a lot. It makes me sad.

So we are getting out kitchen and living room redone. Not that I hate the thought of an upgrade, but I really wish we weren't. It just started today and its going to take two months, which will be even more disruptive come September. Plus I'm now sleeping in the basement-precisely where all my stuff ISN'T. My last journal was two months ago. I go on here every day, but only journal every two months or so. I watch people who average 3 journals a DAY. It's...crazy! Maybe you people just have much more interesting, eventful lives than me or something

On another note, we found mold in my room. Some months ago actually. But my room was so messy we just moved the bed and wiped it up with bleach . But, just this Thursday we found MORE mold!

Uh...anyways, what I'm trying to get at is that I have cleaned my room. Did a major organizing/scrubbing, got rid of the mold, and moved the furniture around so hopefully the mold won't return .

I also found out some creepy facts about bleach. Did you know that bleach can burn right through your skin and you won't even feel it?!?

Tomorrow is SWEENEY TODD...and THE LAST DAY OF SKOOLZ. I r excited

Hmmm...so what's been going on lately in my life? Not a hell of a lot. Oh, I read Johnny the Homicidal maniac and got the Halo comics!...well one of the Halo comics. The store only had one and that happened to be the second one, so I kinda jumped into the series...gah!

Anyways, if you can stand excessive blood and swearing (and LIKE that sort of thing), read Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. Its rather funny, but makes you think at the same time...is that good? I like it. Great artwork, too.

On another note, It seems I have some form of insomnia 0.o It's annoying as hell ^_^ No matter how much sleep I got the previous night, I can't fall asleep until well after midnight.

Sure, I did eventually manage to log back on, but still.

So, has anyone else heard (or does anyone else care) about Tim Burton's NEW MOVIE? It's called Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and looks better than it sounds. It will have an R rating too, for blood. Which is both a blessing and a curse. The blessing being that R rated blood and gore is so much...redder. The curse being that seeing as I'm 'somewhere' under the age of 17, I will require accompaniment by an adult. Which isn't that bad really. But still (I've been saying that alot haven't I?). Plus I will have to convince my friend to see it despite the R rating. Which may take some convincing as she doesn't particularly LIKE gore (she was terrified during alien). But she DOES like Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Alan Rickman, and Helena Bonham Carter, so I should be fine.

So, would YOU like to see this movie? I am not expecting an answer, so if you would answer I will be pleasantly surprised.

It made me happy and sad at the same time. It was so amazing, the graphics the game play and most importantly the story. I've already beat it on normal. I was going to do it on heroic first try but I decided to level down to allow myself to get used to the new control layout. Who else kept pressing X all the time?

But I got it all figured out now so I'm going back to Heroic.

Here's some advice: Watch the ending after the credits (don't skip through them) it's a vital part of the story and it is awesome so don't miss it. If you beat it on legendary this scene is slightly longer (I beat the last level on legendary just for it).

First of all, Darkwing. It's a book by Kenneth Oppal, and if you know anything, then hopefully you know that he wrote the Silverwing novels (Silverwing, Sunwing, Firewing). Darkwing is set in the silverwing world only a few milion years in the past. The Paleocene era to be precise. And its all about the first bats, whom I conveinietly drew a picture of but unconveniatly have no scanner
Highly recomended even if you haven't read the other Silverwing books.

Second, Gargoyles. It's an animated television series about (you guessed it) gargoyles. Has anyone ever seen it????? Amazing show, better than it sounds. I just found out about it today and since then (a few hours ago) I have watched about 5 episodes. This is also highly recommended. More info can be found at its wikipedia entry here [link]

Up until recently, I had never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is a shame because IT'S THE BEST MOVIE IN THE WORLD AND I COULD WATCH IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER....but I can't find anywhere to buy it....

So I was watching that and thought 'Tim Burton is an evil genius' and what do you do when you find evil geniuses? Watch more of their movies of course!! The only other Tim Burton movies I had seen up to that point had been Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Planet of the Apes (and maybe that batman movie I can't be certain). So I rented the Corpse Bride...

That is a wonderful movie...just purely amazing. I love it to bits. Then I thought 'what other movie is a Tim Burton staple?'

Edward Scissorhands of course.

So the moral of the story is I now have a new favorite director, three new favorite movies and you will soon have new art from me...probably Nightmare stuff.

I also finally convinced my parent to let me rent Gears of War. My mom still seems to think of me as 'her precious little girl' ( 0.o ) and had deemed the game too bloody (mostly because my cousin told her what the chainsaw is for ). She was watching me play it and she got TOTALLY grossed/freaked out...even thought I hadn't even killed anybody. In fact there hadn't even been any combat. Just a few dead bodies and a bit of blood.

Ok, ok, I'll say it....I. Have. An. Xbox...THREE SIXTY!!!

Anyways, with that over with, I would like to ask several questions...

1. Rtas 'Vadumee. We all know and love this green-eyed, Half-jawed, white-armored Sangheili. My question is: How do you pronounce 'Rtas'. I've always just left out the 'T' and pronounced it 'Raz'.

2. Does anyone here watch The Codex and/or The Heretic? Very Recommended. If you can't get enough Elites through just playing Halo or browsing the internet, then you should watch these. Sure, theres Humans, and sure, the voice acting makes me cringe sometimes, but It's almost canon to the Halo universe and there are some really good Action scenes AND they have made their own CG thingummies... which, translated into English means: There are some very kickass computer-animated scenes such as ship battles

I have just re-discovered the LION KING. It was one of my favorite movies as a kid and recently, for no reason at all, felt like watching it again.

It was like an OMG moment. I haven't watched it since I was like, seven or so (for various reasons one being that my sister stole it when she moved out) and when I watched it again I realized there was soooo much that I hadn't understood in it when I was just a lickle being! It is an amazing movie!!

How is it that my Halo 1 game is crap but my Halo 2 game rox? Probably my computer. The aiming is WAAAAAAAY over-sensitive and it really messes me up.

AND i just finished watching the ENTIRE first season of Red vs Blue.
