I think I'm starting to look towards the future and actually act like I will have a future and that I won't die prematurely through one means or another. If I could remove any part of my life, I'd probably remove the past five or six years, except for a few minor things, and redo it all over again in a different way. About six years ago, I was doing a lot better and showed promises of being able to live a lot better and resolve things. I had some kind of sense of peace, liked who I was, and was not very corruptable. Inbetween those years, I've lost that sense of peace, came to hate myself, and have become very corruptable. I had become too weak. The last six years isn't the way that I would live if I had to live that way for eternity. I've been set the task of rebuilding myself and finding a lifestyle that will keep me surviving for a good long lifespan and be something that I'd actually want to do for eternity if I have to live that way for eternity. It's a big task and will probably take years to finish building it. But I'm happy that my guide has been pushing me to do this kind of thing. After starting this journey about six months ago, I'm starting to see some noticeable improvements in myself in the last month, but there's still so much to do. There's still that hole in my being that wasn't there six years ago that I need to do something about so I won't be so empty. I look forward to working on all of this. I'm already starting to do better than how I have been doing for the past year or so, and some people are actually starting to notice it.

I just realized tonight that Kaylin has basically been a guide on the physical plane to me ever since the trouble started. Every time I saw her, even though it wasn't often, she was trying to build up something stronger in me than "Here is the answer; go do it or believe in it." My spiritual guide may have started the process and still shows me some things in my dreams, but Kaylin has also been helping it along and basically trying to do the same thing in a different way. Just spending the past few days with her talking about things have made me realize how much she ends up echoing my guide very closely in some respects.

If you're around the wrong people for long enough, you begin to absorb their bad habits. Even with good people, you can absorb their bad habits if you aren't careful enough. Most people simply try to correct you or get defensive. I've had enough people try that one on me for years and years. That is a bad, bad thing when you lose too much of your strength. All I've been doing in the past few years is basically playing the roles that other people expect me to play and actually believing that I am that role until someone hands me a new role and I become that one. It eventually ended up in someone making me believe that I was the anti-Christ last spring, and I had a major breakdown. I said a bunch of things I shouldn't have said and ended up finding that I didn't mean it since that was my role I was being pressured into and not much else.

When Kaylin got enough of my depression, she basically said, if that's your answer then that's your answer. She made little attempt at correcting or defensiveness. She didn't show me any more bad habits that others were showing me. She just kinda seemed to know that this, too, will pass eventually since they were traits I usually don't have (and most of them I never really had before). She just didn't want me to think bad of everyone since I was really extremely bitter about the anti-Christ bit and perhaps some other things that I'm starting to work out with her help and my guide's help. She left me to find the important things for myself and wasn't just trying to give me the answer to everything. Some things are simply worthless if they are given to you; some things are just simply more valuable to find on your own and go through the process since the destination is not as important as the actual journey. I think I've started building back up a stronger personality with someone who is making me find the answers myself instead of trying to give it to me. Though taking apart bit by bit the community I was keeping may also be helping my mood a bit. I am starting to be less and less bitter at any rate. I know I still have a long road to go and I'm finding that not everything is easy, but I'm willing to travel it because of my guide's promise.

I'm starting to realize that I really owe Kaylin a lot, more than I can give in return.

1. I'm no longer going to be posting art and stories to this account. I haven't moved accounts or set up another account on a seperate website or anything like that. I still stand by this decision, and I don't miss posting stuff here. I don't even like most of the community. I only like some of the people on here and my friends.

2. I'm going to be posting my future Dawn chapters at ~Dawn-rpclub. That's the only artistic / writing thing I'll be uploading to da.

3. I'll be on here off and on, depending on if I expect a reply to a comment or note. Probably figure I'll be on to at least check messages every week or two.

4. Probably only going to update this blog rarely.

5. Don't get me a sub or anything like that on here. I probably won't have much use for it. I'd prefer to get other things.

6. I took giftart stuff out of storage and set it to members only. I think I got most of it, but I may have missed a piece or two. You can still access my gallery if you know how to. It's just merely hidden from sight on my front page, not completely and absolutely inaccessible.

1) FFU - I like the show and been doing a costume of a character on there. And we had an FFU-based rp that went nowhere. lol
2) birds - I've been photographing one too many cranes, have I?
3) photos - I send you one too many photos of local animals and stuff like that obviously. I live in what used to be a swamp / marsh at one time before humans took over. Yeah. Photographing things is starting to become more of a hobby. Could possibly be the result of a photographer I know in rl.
4) Vincent Valentine (there are several characters but well... your icon) - VinxCid. And he's good by himself as he is in the games.
5)Dawn - Our project.

So....

What is greater than a god (or a pantheon of gods)?

I did a free write (lj private entry, although some parts of it is floating around on my friends entries from my dream) after I was done reading Till We Have Faces (CS Lewis). When I was done, that was the basic question I found leftover. What is greater than a god? What will not play the same games as at least most European and Middle Eastern based gods do, the games with who is damned and who isn't, mortals as objects to be raped and mislead, and other such things? (It's still somewhat popular to enforce the damnation thing here. At the student union some weeks ago, two people, who looked like students, were holding up signs next to each other. One was about following Jesus and not the church. The other was how you're going to Hell if you aren't a believer.)

If you're wondering why I'm not on your friend / fan list anymore, here's why. I figured out how to take myself off of other people's lists without permanently blocking them. I went through my watch list and basically removed myself from the list of people who never faved or commented on my work and never really talked to me on or off da in at least the past six months. They were pretty much abandoned accounts for all I could tell. I won't stop you from re-adding me to your list if you really want to continue to watch my work (or if I accidently removed you). You shouldn't be permanently blocked. I was just going through and cleaning up to say the least.

Also, I don't want any annoyances on here. I'll semi-permanently / permanently block you if you annoy me too much. I've had a love-hate relationship with da for at least two years, and I'm running very low on patience for dealing with the general da community right now.

Stupid Fox - 17 I don't think I've mentioned the Stupid Fox comic. It's a comic about a fox who always gets into trouble or do stupid things, and I find it amusing. (Each strip tells a different story about the fox so you don't need to read the 16 other ones before this one to understand what's going on.)

Bliss I find this peaceful / soothing to look at.

Four Swords - Pothead, Burning Butt Boys I haven't played Four Swords before, but these pictures amused me.

The only thing I didn't remove from storage is my realistic creature tutorial. Unless I get a lot of requests to move it out of there, I probably won't in a long while.

I was thinking of putting my stamp away for a bit. My opinion hasn't really changed. I still rather not see anything worse that you can't show to a teen by my society's standards (but teens usually do get ahold of a lot worse at that age, but that's another story). Most of the favs I get are for my stamp anymore, and I'm getting a bit tired of that. It probably won't be in there permanently.

Edit: I forgot to say that I took my devs off of deviant mobile. I didn't think most of them would look good on a small screen, and some things are impossible to read and stuff on it.

Edit: I'm not done unstoring things yet (I have about 200.), but I was thinking about things on da. When I posted the cat icon, I was reminded why it's now sorta a pain to post original work on here. I always thought that da was non-profit. It's a community, and most communities are non-profit organizations made for the amusement of the creator and members (like rp boards). Plus, the servers sorta suck on here, and non-profit places tend not to have the best equipment (and staff, but I won't rant on that). Yeah, there were ads, some paid subscriptions, and prints, but they have to pay for things some way, even if it is a non-profit organization. I seriously didn't get all the fuss completely about da turning into a profit organization with that Jark guy leaving. I think I see it now. Reasonably, the increased ads could be a way to deal with an increased load of people on here. BUT annoying the members every time they post something for it to be a print, even if that person doesn't have the skill to sell their art (and no, I'm not bashing anyone with that comment. I consider most of my work to be not good enough to sell.), is completely going way too far. It seems a bit too excessive for a non-profit place so it probably isn't that any longer, if it was in the beginning.

I don't like being bothered about making everything into a print so I simply decided to not upload much original art and just stick to fanart and stuff like gift art. Yes, I am not happy about having the inquiry about prints shoved in my face every time I post something and being reminded that I could probably never sell anything from simply not being "good enough." This doesn't mean I'll leave da completely since I like looking at the art on here.

Edit: It's almost been two weeks, and I still don't have quite everything sorted out yet. My list keeps on getting shorter and shorter so I may actually have everything done next week. I'm right now in '06.

Micro Mutt Set 3 ~risha drew Pherkad down in the middle bottom. He's the brown one with silver circle patterns on him.
Victan ID I made my own for =Neko-daewen's ID series, but she decided to make me one anyways.
Holiday ACEO Set 3 - Digital ~risha decided to draw a bunch of ACEO's for Christmas. She drew Pherkad and Felicity (middle left).

Feline Cross - I had asked ~CelticMaiden88 to put together a photomanipulation using my photos. I had left it pretty open to whatever she wanted to do with them and came up with something neat.

Useful / Semi-Lurker

I'm not a member of these, but I have found them useful in finding interesting art and other things.

Vincent fan club. It looks dead, but you can find some very good art here, both in the favs and member submissions.

lol I have found one! VincentxCid. It doesn't have much on it, and it looks like it is dead.

Clean anthro art club. This looks to be pretty old and pretty dead. It has nice member submissions and favs.

Club for bishonen. Do I need to say more? The sexy definitions on their journal had me laughing, and it has some pretty impressive art in the favs and in the member submissions. All men, too. It seems to be active, too.

A listing of different Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts clubs on da. It also affiliates with other club listings. It is currently active.

DoC club. Only the stuff in the favs are really any kind of impressive for me. Appears to be inactive.

FF: Unlimited fan club. It seems to have picked up the better fanart for this series, even though it doesn't have much. It appears to be dead.

It has been helpful in finding Vincent and FF7 related material both on and off of da since the owner would like to create a big directory of that. Lots of different things here at any rate. I do believe that it's active, but I may be wrong.

FF summons and summoners club. Good to look through if you like beasts, monsters, and sorcerors (sp?). It has some well-done favs / member submissions. It appears to be active.

Nero fan club. It has some cute things for member submissions, and it has some good things in the favs. Fanbase still seems to be a bit too small to get a lot of good fanart, not like FF7. It appears to be inactive.

My scanner has been pretty much broken for quite awhile now so most of the stuff that I do on paper will probably end up in scraps section if I can't make it look good in photos... On average, I'm not really that great of a photographer even though I occassionally get stuff that looks good.

So most of the things on here will probably be stuff that I do on the computer.

I really don't have that many drawings from the past year since I've pretty much been in a creative block for two years. It's a long story... I don't really feel like telling it. Though I may add some of my older stuff in the scraps section if it looks good. ]]> ~Epsilon-Tempest
