The Power of Nightmares is to be turned into a feature film to be screened at the Cannes film festival. It was first screened on BBC Two in Autumn 2004 as a series of three one hour documentaries questioning whether the threat of terrorism to the West is a politically driven fantasy and if al-Qaeda really is an organised network.

The problem is that the films are full of archive film and music from a multitude of sources. The reason my series are normally not released on DVD is that it is prohibitively costly and a nightmare - no pun intended - to clear the rights.

But so many people have now asked for the series to be released in this form that I think it probably will happen.

NOTE: We are very keen that the programmes are made widely available including in America and although the main networks have shown little interest, we are confident that the programmes will be shown in some form. I do not believe in online debates, however it is worth reading to see the mentality that is faced. People like this cannot be dealt with on a rational level. You have 2 real choices, even though you could fool yourself that you have more.

#1- Support the people that oppose the minutemen and their racist mentality of elistist bullshit. I mean look at some of them fuckers!!!!

#2- You support the minutemen in their efforts to continue their racist agenda that they hide in words of naitonalism and pride (putting some of their aguments nicely).

#3- The problem with any other choice is that by not supporting the enemies of the Minutemen you are enabling that mentality to continue. The next person that falls victim to their witch hunt could be someone close to you, or that special someone could fall for their con and start to support them.

Sorry but everyday is war, every action is war. It is no longer just a class war issue, but a war of survival for the entire human race. We may already be too late to save our species, our future. Or we may still have hundreds of years to organize. However none of us truly know what limits nature will place on technology to adapt. We must realize this, we must face the facts. The only way the Western lifestyle can continue is at the expense of others. Because there is not enough raw materials on the planet to support everyone at the level that people live in the West. So do you let others suffer so you can live your life of a little luxury. Or do you try to make a difference in the world? Not for you, maybe not even for the children that are here already, but for the generations not yet born. Because they are the ones that will truly inherit the earth. They are the ones who are innocent and have the right to the planet. Plus MOST IMPORTANTLY!!!! We cannot allow the smallest minority to live at a level of luxury that can only be described as obscene. The 100 richest americans have more combined wealth than the combined wealth of the poorest half of the planet. There is NO justification for such gross difference in lifestyle between people that were concieved the very same way. By the joining of a sperm and egg... I am not saying all people are equal. However when 100 people have more wealth than over 3 billion, that is beyond wrong. When 100 people waste more money in a day on bullshit they do not need than most make in a year and countless millions go hungry because they do not have enough to eat. What social system, what economic system, what religion, what philosophy, what God justifies this?

a western revolution cannot be cultivated like one in a so-called third world country. In Mexico you can hide in the jungles, come out talk to the peasants, ambush government troops. Let your movement and organization grow stronger and stronger before you take on urban areas.

In the west those in rural areas tend to be more conservative then urban areas. So you cannot pick up arms and run to the woods coming out to educate the rural masses. Industrialized nations will rely on the worker. However police coverage and available technology make urban assaults almost suicide.

I am beginning to believe that any future revolution would be more like a 1920s gangster movie. Small groups with little relation to each other fighting the sam ideological war against the system.

As for lesser of two evils. Give people the lesser evil and they think they won, they relax and things just get worst. Demcrats now are more conservative then republicans of the 60s and 70s. So how is that better? Make the people suffer the worst fate, so they are more likely to rise up!

It is somehow fitting that February, the shortest month, has been designated Black History Month. For whatever Black folks have gotten from this country, it was given grudgingly, through gritted teeth, if at all.

It was in February, 1942, when Huey P. Newton was born, in Oak Grove, Louisiana, the youngest of seven children. He was named after Louisiana Governor, Huey Long, a man regarded as a Populist.

But Huey’s family would leave the state, and settle in Oakland, California, where Huey would make his own name.

He was the co-founder, with Bobby Seale, of the Black Panther Party [for Self-Defense], which rose to become of the most advanced Black revolutionary organizations of the 1960s and '70s.

It grew into a national organization, with 44 chapters and branches all across America; from West, to Midwest; from Boston, to Baton Rouge.

Huey, although poorly educated in Oakland schools, would push himself to learn about the world around him, and through the Party, would teach an entire generation about a world bubbling with revolutionary discontent.

The Party, inspired by Black freedom struggles in the Deep South, tried to put into practice the revolutionary teachings of Malcolm X, who preached self-defense. Because it was always growing and changing, party members studied his writings, as well as the works of China’s Mao Tse-Tung, Cuba’s 'Che' Guevara, and the writings of Franz Fanon, who helped in Algeria’s revolution against France.

Huey’s revolutionary influence would help the Party grow into the tens of thousands; but, his growing paranoia, fed by the FBI, would also cause the Party to down-size, as Panthers came from as far away as Philadelphia, to help the Party during its electoral phase, when Seale ran for Oakland’s mayor, and other leading people ran for city council seats.

Given his revolutionary ideas, and his uncompromising opposition to the capitalist State, don’t expect any U.S. Postal Service commemorative stamps anytime soon. Nor will you ever see any U.S. presidents attend any of his memorials.

Huey would be just fine with that. His life’s work, the Party, was designed to give a voice to the poor and oppressed, not the well-to-do nor the high-born!

He wasn’t a civil rights activist -- he was a revolutionary, who wanted to totally transform American social reality.

His life, and his ignoble death, at the hands of a drug dealer, is detailed in half a dozen books (including one of my own), but he remains a symbol of resistance to racist police terror, and the determination of a people to defend themselves.

That his name and his life isn’t better known is a tribute to the very forces that he fought against, and that the Party fought against. The Black bourgeoisie and the rulers, who wanted Black youth to be as uninformed about the centuries-long Black Freedom struggle as possible.

Perhaps, if he were alive today, and 64 years old, he would be baffled at how bleak and sour Black life has become for millions of his people. But, maybe not.

He was a man of unusual brilliance, who saw deeply into how societies work. His books, like ‘Revolutionary Suicide’ (1973), 'To Die for the People’ (1973), 'War Against the Panthers' (1996), and the compilation, ‘The Huey P. Newton Reader’ (2002) betray the workings of a first-rate mind on a wide range of social and political issues.

He may not be remembered by the rulers or the rich, but he will not be forgotten by the poor and the impoverished.

He will be remembered because the same ugly reality facing his generation face Black young people today, and history exists to teach us of our present.

He was 24 years old when he made a vast, and deep, contribution to Black freedom and dignity. He didn’t bow, and he didn’t beg.

He stood up, and fought back, and urged others to stand with him. Thousands did so.

They will do so again.

People have gotten close to what I believe is the reason for this, but the nail has been missed.

A- The male ego makes them believe that every woman wants them. They believe they can take any woman to bed. Thus the way the average homophobic male brags about or shares their desire for a FMF threesome. "I want to go to bed with two lesbians." This statement is beyond stupid! What this person wants is two bisexual women, because a woman becomes a lesbian because she does not want what a man is packing! So if you truly listen to what these idiots say, you will find that they believe any and every woman will succumb to their charms with enough time and effort.

B- When it comes to gay males, it relates back to their own treatment and belief pertaining to women in general (gay, straight, bisexual). They fear a man that will keep hitting on them and hitting on them until finally they are being fucked. They fear someone that would be as aggressive with them as they are with the person that is their sexual target or even their sexual prey!


The average homophobic male is an exceptional asshole! They have probably committed a number of date rapes, in various forms. They are paranoid in gym showers of other men around them. They are ready to fight when they feel like their masculinity is threatened. They hide their fear, because fear is bad and shows that they are not such a super macho male, in various shallow and ignorant arguments. Such as it is against God, nature, etc...

Did not Jesus say to hate the sin but love the sinner? Is not man supposed to not judge less you be judged. Now I am not a believer, but these people need to practice their own damn book before they throw it in my face!

Against Nature? There are so many instances of homosexual activity among various animals that I have to believe that about the same approximent percentage of all life is gay by nature!

The homophobic male cannot handle being treated how he treats women in short. He fears being made into the woman by another male. Which is why he cannot stand gay males. It is okay for him to tease a female friend about BJs, but if a gay friend teased him about BJs he would have a cow. Like he would have a gay friend to begin with? He probably does and just does not realize it So that "straight" friend that keeps teasing him and he teases right back, is just waiting for him to pass out so those incriminating pics can be taken hehehehe

As a straight male I can assure all those assholes that when a gay male teases you sexually you got about as much chance of sex happening with them as you do when the female friend teases you. I just tease right back because I know my gay male friends realize that they have about as much chance of doing me as I have of doing my gay female friends

Police: Homeless Man Tries to Steal Sheep

Wed Feb 22, 8:29 PM ET

A homeless man who police say tried to take a sheep from the Little Rock Zoo has been arrested on numerous charges. A security guard at the zoo called police Tuesday evening after spotting a man carrying a trash can with a sheep in it, a police report said.

When officers arrived Grady Allen Carnahan, 32, told them he was a doctor and the sheep was sick. He said he was taking the animal to a veterinary clinic, the report said.

Carnahan fought with officers as they were trying to take him into custody, police said.

He was arrested on a felony charge of violating an animal facility and on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass, cruelty to animals, resisting arrest, and theft of property.

The animal was returned to its pen at the zoo.

US rocker and writer Henry Rollins was reported to the National Security hotline during his recent Australian tour because of a book he was reading on flight to Brisbane.
A furious Rollins was informed he was "nominated as a possible threat" for reading Jihad: The Rise Of Militant Islam In Central Asia.

The incident happened on a flight from Auckland on the recent Big Day Out tour.

Rollins told Australian fans during his tour that he received a letter from a "nice woman" who worked "in one of those government areas that deals with anti-terrorism matters."

He posted the letter on his website.

"Please tell your Government and everyone in your office to go f... themselves. Baghdad's safer than my hometown and your PM is a sissy," he wrote.

“I hope this finds you before you leave Australia as I think its something that won’t surprise you but might give you a smile when you are sitting in a hotel room. I work in one of those Government areas that deals with anti terrorism matters. A fine service is provided but unfortunately we get to read a lot of things submitted by lunatics. The Australian Government set up the National Security Hotline to report terrorists.
The person who sat next to you on the flight from New Zealand does not agree with your politics or choice of reading and so nominated you as a possible threat. As they were too cowardly or stupid to leave their details I can’t call them to discuss their idiocy with them.”

Interesting that he and I exchanged nothing but polite hellos. I was reading Ahmed Rashid’s book Jihad: The Rise Of Militant Islam In Central Asia. He’s a correspondent for the Wall Street Journal and the book is on the Yale University Press. Didn’t Bush drink beer at Yale? Didn’t he not seem to learn much at Yale?
Of course I wrote the nice lady back.

Being a Loser in America - 04/13/2005 16:15

My name is David R. Hoffman, Legal Editor of Pravda. And I am a loser

Actually, this inauspicious status was conferred upon me before I was even born, because I made the one critical mistake that, in American society, constantly delineates the boundary between what qualifies as success and what qualifies as failure: I did not choose my family wisely.

Fortunately, my prenatal destiny did not cause any adverse effects during my childhood years. While my parents were far from rich, I seldom missed a meal or doctor’s appointment because of financial hardship, and, since my social circle was limited to children similarly situated to myself, I rarely experienced any sense of deprivation.

This changed during my high school years, when the austere realities of “loserdom” first made their appearance. I was one of the few “have-nots” taking college preparatory courses, and the experience of being surrounded (and ignored) on a daily basis by the surfeit of “haves” in the classroom provided an ominous glimpse into the realities of my existence.

So, after graduation, I prepared myself for a life of mundane labor. After all, people like me never make a difference in the world. We eat, sleep, work, grasp at vestiges of entertainment when we can afford to, and dream of retiring healthy enough to enjoy our twilight years.

But even that dream was not to be. One afternoon in 1991 I received a telephone call advising me that the company I had devoted fifteen years of my life to was closing down the department where I worked and eliminating all the employees. But even though this unforeseen development made me feel as discarded as yesterday’s rubbish, and I was without health insurance or income, I had a contingency plan.

Or at least I thought I did. Just a few years earlier a documentary about the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had expunged the dismal memories of my high school “college preparatory” years, and inspired me to obtain a higher education. Fortunately, at the time I lost my employment, I was just one semester away from obtaining my undergraduate degree.

But the years of stagnation in a dead-end job had left their mark, and I was weary of indulging the quixotic hope that my next employment venture would somehow spawn everlasting happiness. So, on little more than a whim, I took the law school entrance examination (LSAT), and soon found myself enrolled in law school.

After graduating and passing the bar (law licensing) exam, I idealistically looked forward to entering a profession where truth and justice prevailed over politics and propaganda--a profession that could allow me to make a positive difference in the world.

Reality, however, was not so cooperative. Law firm after law firm sent rejection letters praising my qualifications but denying me employment. Undeterred, I decided to visit law offices in several cities, hoping my physical presence would make more of an impression than mere words on a resume.

It was then I discovered I had not chosen my family wisely. Time and again I was informed that all available positions were being reserved for individuals whose relatives already worked at the firm.

After a few months of frustration, I found myself stocking pet food at a local grocery store for a few cents above minimum wage, a position I could have obtained without incurring the onerous debt of a law school education. So, rudely awakened from my idealistic slumber, I soon learned that the legal system is not the only industry fueled by nepotism and cronyism.

During the Reagan presidency in the 1980s a political phenomenon known as the “angry white male” erupted against affirmative action policies, which had permitted employers to consider the race, gender or national origin of an applicant or employee when making hiring or promotion decisions. The primary criticism of these policies was their alleged proclivity to give "preferential treatment" to minority candidates, thereby negating the rewards of seniority, hard work and discipline.

Yet one does not have to look very far to see the hypocrisy of such criticism. The White House is currently occupied by a man whose educational, business, political and military careers (performing some nebulous National Guard duties to avoid serving in Vietnam) were augmented by his family's wealth and political connections. Yet he still possessed the audacity to denounce affirmative action policies as “preferences.” The entertainment and business worlds are also inundated with the offspring of the wealthy and/or famous. A specter haunts America's black communities. Vampirish, it sucks the soul out of black lives, leaving skeletal husks behind, mobile, animated, but emotionally and spiritually dead. This is not a result of a dark Count Drac attack, nor a spell woven by a sinister shaman it is the direct result of global greed, governmental deception, and the eternal longing of the poor to escape, however briefly, from the crippling shackles of utter poverty.

Their quest for relief is spelled C-R-A-C-K. Crack. Rock. Call it what you will, it is, in truth, another word for "death" in African-American communities. Harvested in Latin America's Peruvian highlands, treated in jungle labs, "cured" in a chemical bath of ether and kerosene, carried into the USA by government hired pilots as a way to pay the fledgling contras' bills, cocaine comes into Chocolate city, USA, and, transformed into crystalline crack, wreaks havoc on poor black life. Forgotten by the federal government, stigmatized by the state government, shunted aside, ignored, or exploited by city governments, the poor are perceived as problems, or ostracized as alien others, beyond the social pale, anything but people who are not provided the basic tools of survival. It is these poor folks, locked in American Bantustans, who have fallen the hardest for crack.

Just as the "Just Say No" generation got down from the political stage, tons of a new potent poison were being peddled in poor sections of town, brought to these shores courtesy of the Iran-contra funds diversion scheme, as masterminded by that great American hero Honest Ollie North (known as Operation Black Eagle - CIA). Why would the government (the same government that "Just Says No") dare bring cocaine into the states, if not to sell it, to turn it into lucre, into cold cash? If their intent was to destroy it, this could have easily been done outside the USA. It was not destroyed. I suspect an ulterior motive.

Recent history, back in the radical 1960s, saw a flood of pills, pot, and high-grade heroin into black neighborhoods. Radicals suspected then the malevolent hand of Big Brother opened the flood gates of drugs to drown out the black revolutionary fires of urban resistance. With a hostile US Supreme Court, growing unemployment, a federal government that "kindly" and "gently" turned its back on the homeless, police forces marauding like Green Berets over inner cities, African-America resistance seems a likely response.

Open the floodgates, again - this time with a potent, mind-sucking, soul-ripping poison that takes utter priority over all else. The natural instinct of motherhood melts into mud next to the pangs of the crack attack.

Babies re being sold, and mothers sell themselves, in homage to the plastic vial.

Homes disintegrate into New Age caves under the spell of the 'caine. Families fall apart, as father are herded into newly built prisons and mother haunt ho-strolls, all in an infernal lust for that sweet, deadly poison.

There is a precedent for such a diabolical scheme in US history. How many Native "American" communities and tribes were devastated by the European introduction of "Fire water" (alcohol, rum etc.) into the tribal diet, and indeed wiped out?

This is a dire hour for Africans in the United States.

Will we survive this plague?

They do not know his appearance, nationality or real name,but they know and fear his skill.They have never seen . They hear him, but by then it's too late: a shot rings out and another US

For today I will start it with a letter that I sent to Canadian MP Carolyn Parrish and her response to me. Can you believe it, I have lived in the Fascist States of America all my life, voted in countless elections over almost 20 years. Wrote numerous e-mails and letters to various elected officials and never recieved anything but a form letter (canned response) in response. I write to a Canadian MP and I believe she sent me an actual response personally. So first the e-mail I sent to her then her e-mail back to me.

Subject: I support you

Not that it means much, I live in the Fascist States
of America. However you speak the truth, Bush is a
idiot scumbag who obviously could not figure out how
to get out of a wet paper bag. It is so obvious that
he is a pawn, the same people have to be keeping him
sheltered all of his life! Fuck Paul Martin to, it is
like Paul Martin wants to be Bush's bitch, well I say
let them both go to prison together and they can do
whatever they want! I miss Jean Chretien, he did
everything but tell Bush to kiss his ass.

You should not drop out of politics for speaking the
truth, more people need to speak the truth. Canada
needs to seek trading partners overseas and move away
from its dependence with the usa. I even believe the
borders should be closed (after I immigrate ofcourse
LOL). The usa is acting like a 2 year old child, well
you ignore the 2 year old and make them sit in a
corner by themselves.

Stand strong and be the voice of truth. To many
people in too many countries try to ignore the truth
hoping it will go away. That is how Hitler came into
power and that is how Bush is sending the poor to die
for his corporate masters.

Also I hope that the Canadian government did grant
asylum to the deserters that fleed to Canada. Since
Bush's wars are completely illegal in the
international community and according to standards set
by international law when it comes to committing war
crimes. It is not an excuse to say you were just
following orders. Therefore everyone that is in Iraq,
everyone that planned the Iraq invasion, everyone that
voted for it, they are all war criminals. The few
people that ran, rather then fight an illegal war,
they deserve to be in Canada more then I do, and I
would renounce my citizenship if I became a permanent
resident!

I hope you get this, and my only wish is that I could
cast a vote knowing it kept you in power. I will have
to ask all my friends on the good side of the border
about the Liberal Party now, since I honestly know
very little about it.

What does Aristotle have to say about ‘Intemperance'

Aristotle stated that intemperance is more of a voluntary condition then cowardice. Since cowardice people are trying to avoid pain, but intemperance is pleasurable things that are done to excess, so it is a choice that is rationally made. Intemperance is a negative of temperance, temperance is a mean of pleasure. Aristotle does not recognize someone that deprives himself of pleasure because the thought is so beyond logic and reason, and those people are so rare that they do not have a name. So to live a life of excess, no matter what the pleasure is, is a form of intemperance. But is this right? Marquis DeSade wrote that no pleasure is wrong, that there was no need to deprive himself of any pleasure and that there was no such thing as excess. However DeSade also wrote this from an insane asylum! What is the greatest excess of today? Let us go beyond the scope that Aristotle set forth to see if DeSade or Aristotle was correct. We can use drink (wine and spirits) as an example. It does bring us pleasure (a buzz), but done to excess we can get a hang over, even black out or even cause death due to the liver shutting down and alcohol poisoning. It would seem that alcohol cannot naturally be enjoyed to excess. Drugs are a very popular excess in today's culture. But can a drug addict be blamed for a physical addiction that actually causes pain when they attempt to stop? Ofcourse they can, because no one held them down and gave them that first injection of herion. Peer pressure can only do so much to convince you to do something, however Aristotle did mention that children are prone to error. So we have to give a little since children do not all recieve proper guidence and the gap between the rich and the poor is so great that some people pay more for a toilet then others will make in an entire year! What about sex done to excess? Since DeSade's greatest pleasure was all forms of sexual excess can we say that he violates Aristotle's mean? Once again there is a negative result from sex done to excess, even if it is bdsm pleasures. You run a risk of more and more serious diseases with a greater amount of partners. In bdsm you run the risk of either personally being maimed or maiming your partner even risking death if your dark pleasures are taken too far. So it would seem that Aristotle does prove that intemperance is a voluntary choice and a bad one to be made. However I would also argue that the usa is intemperate. Since it hogs up resources and does things to excess for the sake of nothing more then personal pleasure when others in the world go without bare necessitites. Where is the negative result you ask? International hatred of the people due to their lack of respect for other cultures. A war and occupation which look suspiciously like a desire to control resources, since every other justification has failed! Obesity while people starve. A turning on your own neighbors to support your desires for pleasures. A turning on your own people/employees in a desire for more wealth and personal power!

Aristotle stated that a temperate person's appetite must agree with reason! A negative result proves a penalty and is beyond reason that nature or a higher power placed on us. So when you look at the world who are the most intemperate people in the world? The rich and what is the richest nation? Un-Volunteering: Troops Improvise to Find Way Out

The night before his Army unit was to meet to fly to Iraq, Pvt. Brandon Hughey, 19, simply left. He drove all night from Texas to Indiana, and on from there, with help from a Vietnam veteran he had met on the Internet, to disappear in Canada.

In Georgia, Sgt. Kevin Benderman, 40, whose family ties to military service stretch back to the American Revolution, filed for conscientious-objector status and learned that he will face a court-martial in May for failing to report to his unit when it left for a second stint in Iraq.


One by one, a trickle of soldiers and marines - some just back from duty in Iraq, others facing a trip there soon - are seeking ways out.

Soldiers, their advocates and lawyers who specialize in military law say they have watched a few service members try ever more unlikely and desperate routes: taking drugs in the hope that they will be kept home after positive urine tests, for example; or seeking psychological or medical reasons to be declared nondeployable, including last-minute pregnancies. Specialist Marquise J. Roberts is accused of asking a relative in Philadelphia to shoot him in the leg so he would not have to return to war.

A bullet to the leg, Specialist Roberts, of Hinesville, Ga., told the police, seemed his best chance. "I was scared," he said, according to a police report on the December shooting. "I didn't want to go back to Iraq and leave my family. I felt that my chain of command didn't care about the safety of the troops. I just know that I wasn't going to make it back."

Department of Defense officials say they have seen no increase in those counted as deserters since the war in Iraq began. Since October 2002, about 6,000 soldiers have abandoned their posts for at least 30 days and been counted as deserters. (A soldier who eventually returns to his unit is still counted as a deserter for the year.) The Marine Corps, which takes a snapshot of how many marines are missing at a given point in time, reported about 1,300 deserters in December, some of whom disappeared last year and others years earlier. The figures, Pentagon officials said, suggest that the deserter ranks have actually shrunk since the years just before Sept. 11, 2001. Of course, many things have changed since then, including the seriousness of deserting during a time of war.

Many of the tactics also defy simple categories like official desertion.

"There are a lot of people, many more than normal, who are trying to get out now," said Sgt. First Class Tom Ogden, just before he left for a second trip to Iraq with his Army aviation unit from Fort Carson, Colo. He said he had seen fellow soldiers in recent months who seemed intent on failing drug tests because they believed they would be held back if only their tests "came back hot," while others claimed bad backs and necks, with the same hope.

"I'll tell you what," Sergeant Ogden said, "they're coming up with what they consider some creative ways to do it now."

In the fall of 2003, Staff Sgt. Camilo Mejia of Miami, in the Florida National Guard, was among the first to announce he was refusing to return to Iraq and filing for conscientious-objector status. A year ago, Pfc. Jeremy Hinzman, a South Dakotan, vanished from his post only to reappear in Canada, his family in tow.

Word of such cases spread among soldiers. Some reacted with disgust, accusing their colleagues of cowardice: how could they let down other soldiers in a time of war, when, unlike the draftees of the Vietnam War, they had all volunteered? Others, though, say the cases made them think more about their ambivalence.

"What I've seen is that soldiers are more afraid to make a stand for themselves than they are to go into combat," said Sergeant Mejia, who was released in February after nearly nine months of confinement at Fort Sill, Okla., for desertion. "Until I took a stand, I was really going against my own conscience. I was so afraid to be called a coward."

In the months since his case, more organized efforts have arisen.

Rationals, are the problem solving temperament, particularly if the problem has to do with the many complex systems that make up the world around us. Rationals might tackle problems in organic systems such as plants and animals, or in mechanical systems such as railroads and computers, or in social systems such as families and companies and governments. Who Is Alex Jones?

Alex Jones It's not easy being a prophet in one's own land, as Austin, Texas based radio host Alex Jones will tell you. He's been warning listeners of a world-wide globalist conspiracy, and the mainstream media doesn't seem to even know he exists. While each day's news events are seen by others as unrelated events, Alex Jones explains how current happenings are really elements of a world-wide takeover by determined globalists. Each day, Alex reports items of news and current events, explaining the trends, and how each event relates to the grand globalist plan. As evidence of the nefarious globalists' scheme, Jones cites actual news reports involving invasions of privacy, government surveillance, erosion of constitutional rights, and excessive use of force by the police.

Who's behind the global conspiracy? Alex Jones ties it to a number of behind-the-scenes groups, largely unknown to the public. Corporate entities, pseudo-government organizations and think-tank groups are usually indicted. Jones has condemned the Bilderberger Group, the Carlisle Group, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), the Trilateral Commission, the World Bank, and the United Nations, for their supposed involvement in the Global conspiracy. Jones also informs his listeners about the ties of politicians and business executives to bizarre secret meetings of groups like the Illuminadi and Bohemian Grove.

The point is this, I cannot recall any two term president ever changing so much of his cabinet. Think of the people that were fired from key positions (seems that way to me). Joe gets up at 6 a.m. and fills his coffeepot with water to prepare his morning coffee. The water is clean and good because some tree-hugging liberal fought for minimum water-quality standards.

With his first swallow of water, he takes his daily medication. His medications are safe to take because some stupid commie liberal fought to ensure their safety and that they work as advertised.

All but $10 of his medications are paid for by his employer's medical plan because some liberal union workers fought their employers for paid medical insurance - now Joe gets it too.

He prepares his morning breakfast, bacon and eggs. Joe's bacon is safe to eat because some girly-man liberal fought for laws to regulate the meat packing industry.

In the morning shower, Joe reaches for his shampoo. His bottle is properly labeled with each ingredient and its amount in the total contents because some crybaby liberal fought for his right to know what he was putting on his body and how much it contained.

Joe dresses, walks outside and takes a deep breath. The air he breathes is clean because some environmentalist wacko liberal fought for the laws to stop industries from polluting our air.

He walks on the government-provided sidewalk to subway station for his government-subsidized ride to work. It saves him considerable money in parking and transportation fees because some fancy-pants liberal fought for affordable public transportation, which gives everyone the opportunity to be a contributor.

Joe begins his work day. He has a good job with excellent pay, medical benefits, retirement, paid holidays and vacation because some lazy liberal union members fought and died for these working standards. Joe's employer adheres to these standards because Joe's employer doesn't want his employees to call the union.

If Joe is hurt on the job or becomes unemployed, he'll get a worker compensation or unemployment check because some stupid liberal didn't think he should lose his home because of his temporary misfortune.

It is noontime and Joe needs to make a bank deposit so he can pay some bills. Joe's deposit is federally insured by the FSLIC because some godless liberal wanted to protect Joe's money from unscrupulous bankers who ruined the banking system before the Great Depression.

Joe has to pay his Fannie Mae-underwritten mortgage and his below-market federal student loan because some elitist liberal decided that Joe and the government would be better off if he was educated and earned more money over his lifetime. Joe also forgets that his in addition to his federally subsidized student loans, he attended a state funded university.

Joe is home from work. He plans to visit his father this evening at his farm home in the country. He gets in his car for the drive. His car is among the safest in the world because some America-hating liberal fought for car safety standards to go along with the taxpayer funded roads.

He arrives at his boyhood home. His was the third generation to live in the house financed by Farmers' Home Administration because bankers didn't want to make rural loans.

The house didn't have electricity until some big-government liberal stuck his nose where it didn't belong and demanded rural electrification.

He is happy to see his father, who is now retired. His father lives on Social Security and a union pension because some wine-drinking, cheese-eating liberal made sure he could take care of himself so Joe wouldn't have to.

Joe gets back in his car for the ride home, and turns on a radio talk show. The radio host keeps saying that liberals are bad and conservatives are good. He doesn't mention that the beloved Republicans have fought against every protection and benefit Joe enjoys throughout his day. Joe agrees: "We don't need those big-government liberals ruining our lives! Alabama Vote Opens Old Racial Wounds

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- On that long-ago day of Alabama's great shame, Gov. George C. Wallace (D) stood in a schoolhouse door and declared that his state's constitution forbade black students to enroll at the University of Alabama.

He was correct.

If Wallace could be brought back to life today to reprise his 1963 moment of infamy outside Foster Auditorium, he would still be correct. Alabama voters made sure of that Nov. 2, refusing to approve a constitutional amendment to erase segregation-era wording requiring separate schools for "white and colored children" and to eliminate references to the poll taxes once imposed to disenfranchise blacks.

The vote was so close -- a margin of 1,850 votes out of 1.38 million -- that an automatic recount will take place Monday. But, with few expecting the results to change, the amendment's saga has dragged Alabama into a confrontation with its segregationist past that illuminates the sometimes uneasy race relations of its present.

The outcome resonates achingly here in this college town, where the silver-haired men and women who close their eyes and lift their arms when the organ wails at Bethel Baptist Church -- a short drive from Wallace's schoolhouse door -- don't have to strain to remember riding buses past the shiny all-white school on their way to the all-black school.

"There are people here who are still fighting the Civil War," said Tommy Woods, 63, a deacon at Bethel and a retired school administrator. "They're holding on to things that are long since past. It's almost like a religion."

There are competing theories about the defeat of Amendment 2, the measure that would have taken "colored children" and segregated schools out of Alabama's constitution. One says latent, persistent racism was to blame; another says voters are suspicious of all constitutional amendments; and a third says it was not about race but about taxes.

The amendment had two main parts: the removal of the separate-schools language and the removal of a passage -- inserted in the 1950s in an attempt to counter the Brown v. Board of Education ruling against segregated public schools -- that said Alabama's constitution does not guarantee a right to a public education. Leading opponents, such as Alabama Christian Coalition President John Giles, said they did not object to removing the passage about separate schools for "white and colored children." But, employing an argument that was ridiculed by most of the state's newspapers and by legions of legal experts, Giles and others said guaranteeing a right to a public education would have opened a door for "rogue" federal judges to order the state to raise taxes to pay for improvements in its public school system.

The argument plays to Alabama's primal fear of federal control, a fear born of years of resentment over U.S. courts' ordering the desegregation of schools and the creation of black-majority legislative districts.

"Activists on the bench know no bounds," Giles said. "It's a trial lawyer's dream."

Giles was aided by a virtually unparalleled Alabama celebrity in his battle against the amendment, distributing testimonials from former chief justice Roy Moore, whose fame was sealed in 2003 when he defied a federal court order to remove a two-ton granite Ten Commandments monument from the rotunda of the Alabama Supreme Court. They were joined by former Moore aide Tom Parker, who handed out miniature Confederate flags this fall during his successful campaign for a seat on the Alabama Supreme Court.

Arguing that the amendment could lead to higher taxes is a potent strategy in Alabama, which is one of the nation's most lightly taxed states and which resoundingly rejected a record $1.2 billion tax increase proposed last year by Gov. Bob Riley (R), a conservative, to pay for school improvements and lessen the tax burden on the poor. But many blacks view the Amendment 2 opponents' tax pitch as a smoke screen.

As the vote results sink in, the deacons and the Bible-toting ladies at the Bethel church here have spoken of dark conspiracies, of sinister agendas. They speak from experience.

Vertia Killings, 72, was riding on a bus that had to be rerouted because of the commotion at the University of Alabama on the day Wallace -- who eventually renounced his segregationist past -- made his stand. Her father, Benny Mack, paid a $45 poll tax and "ate a little less" because of it, she said. Others chose to eat instead of vote.

“Look, let me make something abundantly clear for people that are (?) after activities, they feel like they got to comment on every one of mine. First of all, being a vegetarian should never be associated with being a revolutionary or being open minded – that’s a dietary choice. If someone wants to proliferate the type of ignorance we’re supposed to be fighting by thinking that, you’re just fucking yourself. I don’t go around promoting beef and poultry, shoving it in peoples’ faces. I don’t castigate people for not eating steak sandwiches, and I would never diss someone for being a fucking broccoli head or living off radishes and eating grass or tofu. I like a lot of vegan cuisine, but the illogicality of expecting everyone to adopt your particular idea of what being healthy is, is just preposterous. I’ve seen some of you herbivores, and if you want to argue health, you need to eat some kind of supplement because some of you are so skinny it’s disgusting – looking like the only hip hop motherfuckers on Schindler’s List. Being a malnutritionist has got nothing to do with being a revolutionary or being on point. I’ll be damned if I let someone else push their agenda on me.
