So, the other day, after work, I washed my clothes...
and my iPod shuffle (the new, tiny, baby one) was in my jacket pocket.

About 6 minutes into the wash, I had a panicky moment when I realised - after searching for it- that my iPod must have been in my pocket still when I threw the damn thing in a massive load of washing.

I had a short spaz, and then went to retrieve it.
So I paused the wash, pulled out the jacket (which was thankfully near the top, although still completely immersed in water) to find the iPod earphones were in the pocket, but that the iPod itself was sitting like a sinker lure on a fishing rod- at the bottom.

So, naturally, I pulled them both out, tried to dry them, and placed them downstairs next to my computer.

At this stage, the earphones were very tinny, and the iPod simply wouldn't respond, as expected.
I wasn't going to tell mum.

A day or so later, however, I decided to have another crack whilst going through withdrawels. I plugged my earphones in, and voila!
Perfect sound as usual!
So, praying to no one it would work, I plugged my iPod in to charge...
and
*bing!* little orange light came on, and all of my data was still on there!
Incredible

So, when they said the new iPod shuffle was fucking indestructable, they meant it.

After several doctor visits (we went through three doctors in one practice) anyways...

I thought I might show the severe results of my half-way through virus by taking some photos of my rash
This will both put you off your dinner, and show you all exactly why I have been sitting on my couch for two weeks.

So, I'm sick.
Quite sick.
Like, pustules of pus on my left tonsil (sorry)
anyway.
I'm on a course of antibiotics...
Which probably won't work, according to the doctor, because he thinks I have viral tonsillitis... but he can't be sure, so he put me on antibiotics that won't help me if I have tonsillitis...
So if he's right (which he probably is) and I start coughing up strange things and getting a rash, then the amoxycillin- or whatever -was a bad idea.

Gee, thanks.

So now I'm out of school, too.
