I am very disappointed with dA. Well, maybe not with dA, but the people that use it. deviantART, as the name says, is an ART site, where artists either amateur or professional, can post their artwork here and receive comments and critiques from others.
However, every time I browse newest "art" on dA, I can't stop being suprised at what I see.

Quite a big part of photographs, for example, are created not for this site, but for a family album or sites like MySpace or any other community portals! Some of portraits make me doubt in real art right now. They are technically wrong, overexposed, unsharp, the creativity and concept is lacking. I have also passed by some photos without Mature Content that can be qualified to porn!

Some of traditional art makes me also very worried about the seriousness or even the sense of existance of art sites like deviantART. Some of the drawings or paintings seem to be drawn by a 6 years old child!

Moreover, some genious artworks are left in the shadow, while very amateur and poor works are gaining the popularity.

It is very saddening for me. I think that deviantART Staff should do something with it, maybe even create a point in regulations that allows us to report "art" that is not art and then delete it.

I know that not all the people in the world are really talented in creating art, but if so, why do they join dA and litter the site with their so-called art?
