Thank you so much to everyone who has recently decided to add me to their watch list and to everyone who has favorited any of my work while I've been away. I can't possibly go to each of your individual pages and thank you, but I hope that this will make up for that. Under normal circumstances I would.

On a more art-related note, I regret to inform you that I haven't accomplished too much in the way of photography lately, though I have continued to write. That doesn't mean I've finished anything, but I will scrounge up a few things for the sake of once again becoming active in the DA community.

I have, however, been getting a little more interested in YouTube, as ridiculous as that may sound to most of the people here. Amanda and I have created a channel in which we hope to start our version of SparkNotes. So consider the prospect of SparkNotes on crack, and hopefully that's what we'll have. Efficient, effective, and altogether effed up.

Again, I apologize for dropping out like that and I hope that not too much has changed while I was away. If you're reading this right now, I want to either welcome you to my page (newcomers will find their icon below ) or thank you for sticking with me. You guys are great

Graduation is June 1st! What??

Anyway, I'm probably not going to be too horribly active until after that. I'll see what I can do, though.

I'm going to (god willing) be moving out into a house with a couple other friends this summer! Quite exciting. Wish me luck!

It's quite tiresome keeping track of a club that nobody cares about. Which is me feeling sorry for myself for not being able to generate enough interest to keep it going. I mean it's not even my club. And it's really a good idea in theory...apparently not in reality.

Oh well.

I suppose if anyone thinks they can do a better job with it than I did, go ahead and send me a note. But you'll be starting from scratch because I took all of the other deviations down.

At any rate...over halfway through my last year of high school! What!

Keeping just barely above a 2.0 average (shame on me) but it's enough to let me walk. Still have an assload of online classes...if anyone wants to do those for me, you definitely can.

Blargh.

And bitch stole my iPod. Yeah. Fucking sucks. Like I was listening to it and he just came right up to my face and took it from me. Wtf.

Stupid as hell. And the school I was waiting at for my bus isn't even doing anything. They're like "technically, we're not supposed to have iPods here in the first place, so we don't really do police reports for that." and I'm like "I DON'T GO HERE."

But the best part is that the vice principal actually copped an attitude with my mom. Really not a good idea.

She comes to the school like, "Hey! I found out that there were security cameras right where she was sitting, so that would probably help a lot!"
And he's like, "Well all those tapes are locked up in the principal's office."
"...That's fine, just whenever you get the opportunity, I'd like to be there when you look at them."
"Well that's not going to happen."
"Why not?"
"Because I said so."

OH NO YOU DI-IN'T.

Oh yes he did.

My mom was like "Don't talk to me like I'm one of your students. That's an answer people give when they don't have a reason."

Crazy.

Anyway, that's all right now.

Also, I've recently discovered the most joyful purpose of a nose, and that is to freak people out by nosing their fingers when their fingers are holding onto the top of a bus seat.

50 Best reasons Gay Marriage is wrong!

1. Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, birth control and air conditioning.

2. Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all: women are property, matches are arranged in childhood, blacks can't marry whites, Catholics can't marry Jews, divorce is illegal, and adultery is punishable by death

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9. If we look to the word of God, His punishment for sexual immorality is equal to that of murder. Therefore, teaching kids to tolerate homosexuality is equal to teaching them to tolerate murder.

10. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

11. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy (insurance, government, tourism, banking, retail, education, and social services), suburban malls, or longer life spans.

12. Gay marriage should be decided by people not the courts, because the majority-elected legislatures, not courts, have historically protected the rights of the minorities.

13. Civil unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better, because a “seperate but equal” institution is always constitutional. Seperate schools for African-Americans worked just as well as seperate marriages for gays and lesbians will.

14. There is no separation between religious marriage and legal marriage, because there is no separation of church and state.

Many apologies for being so horribly inactive and unproductive as far as putting up art goes. I thought I'd have done a lot more...actually I can't seem to locate my camera presently, but I'll do some digging and it'll turn up eventually. Where is that damn thing...

Anyway, I HAVE PHOTOSHOP! It's incredible, I know. I might actually be able to make some pictures look partially professional even though they so are not.

Be expecting quite a bit of prose as well. With the new school year comes a short fiction class, a creative nonfiction class, and a critical theory class (experimenting in different genres). I'll be pretty busy, but watch my scraps as most of my writing generally goes up there before I even think about putting it in my actual gallery.

I'll also repeat the message from the first journal (this was the important part I talked about in the subject heading). It's about a club system on DA which would be EXTREMELY useful to an ASSLOAD of people. As you might notice when checking your messages on DA and you scroll waaaaay down until you see a poll put out by DA.

Here's a link. Click it. It goes to a petition that need ONE MEELION signatures before it can be taken into consideration. It's going very slowly, but it really needs to be signed.

This part here is optional, but I'd also appreciate if, for my own peace of mind, you could let me know whether or not you sign it.

All in all it's an extraordinarily good idea.

Anyway, in case it means anything, due to journal-difficulties and distractions, the contest for July in ~deviantsclub has been extended through August.

Now let's talk about ~deviantsclub for a moment? The theme for this month is GROWTH. If it's something that interests you, PLEASE go ahead and submit. My group at the club is not being very cooperative, so I'll ask you:

What would make you more active in a club? Especially in one that stages monthly competitions for which the only prize is the addition of your deviation to the club gallery. I'm officially of consenting age to see an R rated movie without an adult.

Oh jesus. I can't believe how fast this is all going. This is insane. I've been doing what I can lately to actually relish moments as much as possible...doesn't make much of a difference, actually it just seems to make shit go faster.

It was really nice though, I got on the bus at FCHS and waited for everyone else. I hadn't told anyone it was my birthday yet that day, but Amanda gets on the bus and just stands there for a second giving me this god awful look like "I'm about to do something really fucking evil." And she opens her mouth...when nothing came out for the first two milliseconds, I knew what she was going to do and started freaking out "Don't do it, don't do it!!!" but she just starts singing and EVERYONE was looking. It was awful, but I'll come to forgive her in time, I'm sure.

And then Christina had bought Starbucks for me and Carly brought me this big ass bag of mini Butterfingers...it was just all really nice. I really appreciated it, I don't think I've gotten this much recognition at school since...well...I don't think ever. I mean normally it's just a few of my friends, eighth grade it wasn't even that.

Birthday and all included though, on the topic of relishing moments, I think my week (actually, probably more like month) was completed this morning.

There was this big pile of red woodchips just sitting in the parking lot outside of the portable and the English building...Amanda had to get her calculator and book from Webb's room and on the way back we stopped in front of this mountain. It went something like this:

"I've just been overcome with the sudden urge to jump into that big pile of mulch."

So we put down our stuff and sat in the pile of mulch. We were sitting for about a minute before Amanda leaned forward and asked if there was a lot of stuff all over her back. I said yes. She said "Oh, beautiful." I said "You want to know what's even more beautiful than that?" And I put my hood up, stood, and fell backwards into the woodchips. Then she put the collar of her shirt up and did the same thing.

We were laying in the mulch for a good five minutes before Josh came over and Amanda ran away because he threatened to hock a loogie on her. But she came back and climbed up to the top of the hill and just sat. So I sat beside her. The bell rang.

"That was the bell."
"No it wasn't."
"Okay."

So we sat there until the warning bell rang, which meant another five minutes.

I'm sure this all seems very pointless, but I promise you this was one of the best moments in my life. People were passing and just looking and shaking their heads...it was wonderful. Especially before we sat, and we were lying there.

"The sky is very blue today."
"Hey, look, there's an airplane."

It was just amazing. That was a moment I tried to relish. There was nowhere I would rather have been. I swear that on my life.

Maybe it's just the fact that it was such a rash decision, that it could have had consequence in that we could have gotten in trouble and it could have been seriously messy. Mostly that it was just on the fly.

In the end I was extremely glad we did it then because later on in the day there was some guy shoveling it into a wheelbarrow. Hopefully it's there tomorrow.

Anyway, I'm done here, that was my personal rant for a good while!

What happens is that once a month there is a theme for which each of the members submits a picture, drawing, whatever. By the end of the month, there is a voting and a winner, and the winner gets put into a Hall of Fame of sorts.

Remember, screenshots are quite simple. Look for a button that says Prnt Scrn that should be in that random secluded rectangle of buttons you hardly ever use. Hit that, and then open up Paint (which everyone has if you have a PC...if you have a Mac, I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with how those work. Paint is in your accessories, if you've never used it before. Accessories is towards the top of your All Programs list. Just trying to cover my bases) Open up Paint and hit paste. Save it somewhere and send it to me in an email to Pandablue2342@yahoo.com, or if you're not into that kind of kink, put it up on photobucket and send me a link. (hey that rhymed XD)

If something in that does not make sense, just ask away and I'll try to explain myself better.

But the best thing I took away was the very last copy of a memoir in poems by Billy Merrel. It. Is. Amazing. I stole Carla's copy and was reading a few of the poems and I was just totally in love. Which is weird because normally I'm not into actually reading poetry.

Anyway basically Billy Merrel is writing about his life growing up being gay. Yes, okay, fine, you caught me. It can't just be normal poetry. There had to be something gay about it. But the point is that it's fantastic. I've never been this amazed by a bunch of stupid poems.

So if you ever get the opportunity, the book is called Talking in the Dark by Billy Merrel.

Wanna know what else is cool? He graduated from my school and I sat like five feet away from him in a workshop. His boyfriend is damn hot.

If anybody knows anything about dealing with Firsters, if anybody knows anything about "Congratulations, you have just won a free Ipod Nano!" and if anybody can find it in them to not comment on things for which they will most likely be accused of wanting attention...if that makes sense...okay basically watch the video.

Not with the parents though. Their brains might explode.


On a more updatish note, I'm working on number 25, KB I have not forgotten your pictures, and life is pretty fucking awesome with an A in Physics. That's right. I'm not a total screwup.

I saw Across the Universe over the weekend, so now I might not feel so out of the loop. Good movie, I will say. I'm slightly annoyed with myself though, concerning the idea of having seen the movie at all. I wanted to see it because I like the Beatles. I didn't want to see it because I like the Beatles.

In the end, I came to a happy medium and decided that I was pleased that they didn't really try to imitate the original songs, that it was possible to like both the original songs and the movie versions. I'll try not to feel like an idiot around the people who refuse to see the movie because they're sure that the songs have been murdered. If you go into it thinking that, then you're going to come out thinking you were right. It's like trying new foods you weren't so sure about in the first place.

However, if you don't like the Beatles I don't know what to tell you. I might say that you don't like life. And I might say that you might like the movie anyway. If you don't like the Beatles and you don't like musicals, just stay away from the movie.

Why did I just waste so much time talking about that?

I don't know.

I already prefaced this journal with the title, okay? I warned you all.

On a slightly more personal level, I've decided that I'm in a relatively good place right now. Although school is sucking as usual, I can't help but feel I'm making small improvements. Aside from school, I have never been more pleased to be alive. I don't know what changed in the last six months, but whatever it is, I like it. When school is not overbearingly depressing, life is pretty amazing.

But seriously, I do appreciate everyone that offered to give me a hand in my last journal, so I wanted to give a superhuge thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou.

On a more personal level, I have to say that right now I could not be more satisfied with the people I like to spend my time with. I don't think I've ever felt such overwhelming joy to be in the company of human beings. I also don't think I've ever been able to be so ecstatic when my grades are still sucking like a monkey. But I swear, these guys have the power.

Basically, as sappy as this is going to come off to be, my friends are the most amazing people in the world and I love them severely. If that makes any sense.

For that matter, I'm not completely sure what's wrong with me because I've just been in such a loving mood lately. Aaaand I know we're not supposed to really professionally use these journals to spill out our intestines because it's not really any kind of shit anyone wants to see, but I've been seriously-for-real in love with someone to the point where I want to be sick because it's just so disgusting. Is that even...logical at all? I don't even know. But that's the way it is.

First off, I want to be sure I have a screen shot of 5000 pageviews. I've been chilling out to celebrate pageviews until at least 5000, so I suppose it's slightly important. You understand. So just keep an eye out.

For those of you who think you don't have the technology to take a screen shot, it's quite simple. Here's what you do:

On your keyboard, you'll find a key that says: Prnt Scrn [on top of the words] SysRq. It should be grouped in with the Pause/break button and other buttons that aren't used too horribly often.

Hit the button

Open up Paint or whatever you may have

Paste it in using ctrl+v or go into Edit and find paste and click that. Or you can right click. I'm sure you guys know about that already.

Please make sure that your mouse is not in the way of the number or even relatively close to that area when you take the screen shot.

24 is Want, and there's not a lot that hasn't been done for that. Not that I've gone out of my way to be original thusfar, but I like to think I've at least made an attempt.

So! If you have any ideas, feel free to drop them on me. Anything I could take a picture of that would convey the idea of Want. This is how I got through all the cliche things I could take a picture of for Cut, so I figure it could work equally as well.

Also! If anyone out there has a pair of Logitech wireless headphones, I'm having a bit of difficulty with mine and would die for a little bit of assistance. Send me a note and I'll tell you what's up.

This is good in that it means kudos for me in the eyes of my arts area, but it's bad in that I really don't want to stand in front of an assload of people and read that shit out loud.

The bad news! Is that I'm able to get on less and less, seeing as my parents have seriously buckled down on my internet time (and rightfully so) so even now I'm not supposed to be typing this.

As far as updating goes, I have about ten minutes every weekday morning to check up on messages and stuff and I'm unsure as to the amount of time I'll have during the weekend...I want you to know that I'm working on things though. ~scarexxbear your photos have not been forgotten!! And the hundred theme challenge is coming along as well. My computer has been made unusuable presently, but I can install my program on the laptop no problem, so things will be popping up again here shortly, I'm sure.

I'm actually quite excited for a change. Maybe just for the party, more so than the actual coming of the new year.

Resolutions? Nah. Never stick to them anyway, what's the point?

Oh yeah! So I got featured in the journal! I'm pretty happy with that. It got me one fav, which is more than I'd have gotten had I not joined

I saw Sweeney Todd...that was amazingly fantastic...I think I might have already said, but it's worth saying again. If you get a chance go see it. If anyone has seen Juno, please tell me what you thought. I'm dying to see that movie.

Call me lame, but I've been listening to Panic! at the Disco on repeat for the past three days. There is not a song on this cd I don't like. I didn't think I'd like it that much, but it's good. By the way, that song is called London Beckoned Songs About Money Written by Machines.

Not to shabby, eh?


I feel I've kept up with the account relatively well. Didn't think I'd take so much of a liking to photography, but it's fun

Not much of an artist, but in celebration of 3 years, I'm willing to take some commissions, if you will. That would mean photography or some kind of written something. Aaand I know not many of you will take me up on this, but I figured I'd put it out there. So if you want to take advantage of it, go ahead. Not a lot would make me happier

So merry Christmas everyone, though I've never been too religious and I don't deny looking forward to this time of the year for completely material reasons. Right now, I don't particularly care about any of that (being reasons to look forward to Christmas).

Here's to me and my dad having a reason to go out somewhere after dinner tonight.

How's about this! Since lately my forte seems to be photography, I will take a list of five themes from any person who wants it, and I will take those pictures.
These themes are allowed to have three rules tops (like "There can at no point be any yellow in any of the pictures" or "You must include somewhere in each picture some kind of flower") and the rules do no have to apply to each theme (meaning you can have a different set of rules for each theme).
However, rules are not mandatory, you can simply say "Here's five things, go forth and take thee some pictures".

Something for me to do while I procrastinate the loads of breakwork I have for school.

Damn, I really really should get on that.

Oh yes! And one more thing, just because there's only so much I can take, if more than ten people (heaven forbid) come to me requesting pictures, I'm sorry, but that's where I draw the line. Can't handle more than that. I will repeal this if an eleventh comes to me some days later after I have already taken care of a few pictures, but that is the only case.

Somehow I don't think anyone will take advantage of this, but here's to hoping.

Right, anyway.

So it's officially winter break. I. Could not. Be happier.

Okay, well I could, but it's not really anything I could fix. Well I can, and I will, this weekend I'm having a bunch of friends over, we're gonna go see Sweeney Todd (...AHHHHHH!!! ) and then come back to my house and hang out. It'll be like...six of us. So that'll be neat.

I am filled with overwhelming joy towards the following people:

My parents gave me a lovely speech about what will happen if I don't bring my grades up, as if I don't already know. But for those of you who go to my school. Yeah, this is for you haha
