SO. Where was I last time? LOL Animania, wow ages ago.

WORK

Yey I finally got myself a job! I've been there 2 months and it certainly is a job. I'm working for a kid's photographer, in the editing department choosing photos and editing children. AKA, I photoshop out snot, drool, pimples, rashes, crappy lighting, ill positioned lights behind children's heads, texta marks and temporary tattoos. AWESOME. I'm just grateful to have a job.
Means I can pay bills and afford cosplay and shoes.

COSPLAY

Gencon was so full of WIN. I think it's the most I've socialised ever at a Convention. I am so adding "Going out to Dinner" every-night to my Convention experience.
Mini-Rundown:
FRI: Didn't go.
SAT: Went as Poison Ivy, Bruce Timm Batman Animated Version 0.1. Stayed with Bro and Jaz at Awesome hotel 2 blocks from Gencon. Went to Jojo's from dinner. Super Win.
SUN: Went as Rinoa Heartilly from FF8. Re-wear from Manifest a few years ago. WON Super Awesome Chii from Chobits "Panty shot" figurine by jumping up and down and making my boobs wobble. MOIHAHAHAHA. Went to dinner at Yummy Japanese Restaurant.

Meow to all!

Hope everyone's enjoying their xmas!
Just stopping by to give you a small run down of what I've been up to lately.

Started the new job at Dreamworld, I've had three shifts so far and the proper Teamleader for my post, the Big Brother Cafe, has been sick, so I've still not actually been trained properly. Kinda just winging it, asking how to do shit when it comes up etc etc.
I'm back in 2moro for three hours, then hopefully alot of shifts after that, cus the cafe is only open between 10:30 and 3:30. sometimes it closes earlier if noones around. so generally the longest shift i can get is 5.5 hours. (technically 6 with a 30 min break).
But the work is easy, fast paced, and as far as I can gather, a bit relaxed. Enjoying it so far.

Hello All

Well i WAS gonna either use a css pretty journal thing or make my own but yeah. I can't bring myself to use a free one and I am feeling too lazy to make my own. So you can deal with just the header thing.

I know I had stuff to report but it has currently eluded me.
All I knew was that I was over seeing the Dear Floatyman journal.

Still no job, but on the plus side I'm got a couple of freelance graphic design gigs, the Eidecan Tattoo show has now raised enough money that they can give me some cash, and I'm doing up a business card for =Jequila's mum. sweet.
I've got an order for a Top Hat, but she's gonna get that in Feb, so that's a bit off, and at the photoshoot, one of the models fell in love with my Top Hat (that ~X-VelvetRainDrops-X loves) and her mum said she might be getting one off me. So yeah.

I've decided my original plan to specialise in Top Hats is a good idea, it's what I've found most people are interested in and I personally love them alot and it's easier to focus on Top Hat blocks in different sizes, then to try and get EVERYTHING.
Oh and I found a great wholesaler in England with good prices and a beautiful range of Felts.
Here, I'll show you!


They sent me an actual sample of each of these colours in the fur felt, oh they're SO NICE! So yeah get off my arse and DO IT.

Well i would report on the Halloween Meet, but everyone else has and well. Blah.

Hello

Well I just wanted to prepare you for a despairing ramble. So yeah, feel free to ignore.

Ahem.

I've been out of work for a month now. I had a half plan to try and work a few jobs rather then a fulltime job because I know that would drive me insane. No luck. Can't seem to get any casual job usually because i don't have SPECIFIC experience, like i've got retail and hospitality exp in GENERAL, hell i even went for a job that worked with wigs, and i HAVE wig exp, but alas, they wanted hairdressing exp... *sigh.
It's gotten to the point where I have no choice but to find fulltime work, no matter if i'd be a junior wage or not, cause of money.
I hate money.
I hate that when you go for a job you're supposed to say, "I'm not in it for the Money, i love this bullshit making people buy shit they don't need." "I honestly believe that making things look pretty will better the world."
I hate how people say "Money isn't everything" when it's a great job but they don't offer enough money, and "Think of the Money" when they it's a shit job with great pay. I often shit people off when they try the "think of the money" line by countering "Money isn't everything." they're just trying to be polite it my whinging.

So. Guess what. not only is our telstra bill this month $100 more cus they fucked up last months bill by forgeting to add charges, but body corp is due at the end of the month. over $300.
That's not the Guess What.
Jason and I were in a car accident yesterday. The only thing that was hurt was our wallets. Or will be I should say.
Jason was turning left at a give way off some lights and the lady in front of us for some reason stopped far over into the gutter ahead of us, Jason looked, saw nothing coming, couldn't see the lady hadn't moved in time, and unfortunately me screaming STOP STOP STOP was too late. Head in hands. No anger, just that immediate depressive "great more money we don't have" feeling. We don't know what the hell she was doing, but it was odd that the passenger side of Jason's car hit her driver side.
Of course she was in a shitty new blue flimsy clown car, so she has a nice dint in the bumper and hatch door, while Jason's Ford Falcon only coped it in the bumper, which was already scratched with paint peeling off. Only now it's falling off too. Being the cop magnet Jason is, we can't really delay in fixing his car much either.

YEY

Last night, while not sleeping, it dawned on me, from the fantasy books I've been reading that I want a fulfilling job. I want to help the world or animals or people some how. I want to DO something WITH my life. Not just sell shit or make shit pretty. Because that's what i do. It's the reason I'm so unhappy, it's like what's the point? I NEED money, but I can't physically bring myself to participate in events that will not lead to a better future for myself, or at least let me do something fulfilling.
The book I'm reading now is about people who survived basically the destruction of the technological world, and it follows humans with various telepathic powers who are basically killed as mutants, by a power-lusting new council and a faction that kills anyone opposing their "God". I won't go into the story any further, but what I've gotten from it is that selling clothing and designing graphic isn't important. I don't want to get to the end of my life and say thats what i did.

I know now that somehow i want to help, someway. But at the same time i need to make money doing it, cus helping and volunteering and donating and doing charity is all good, but at the end of the day, i want a roof over my head and food in my belly. The cost of living is ridiculous, the government puts up rates and bills and interest and groceries...but our pay checks don't go up. I mean i have no faith in politics at all, if i thought it would do any good i would go into them, but it won't.

Maybe i'd like to work with animals. i like animals. more the humans. they are what they are and no more. humans aren't. the only thing i can think of doing with animals is veterinary, and i can't afford to do any more studies or courses.

i feel so lost.
i'm torn between the need to do something with my life and the present need of money.

In other news my mannequin head arrived, she's lovely. I got some white sheets from my mother and all i need now is some desk lamps to make some sufficient lighting and i can take pics of all my hats ^_^

I'll keep making hats because to paraphrase Monty Python, "The problem with the world today, There aren't enough people wearing hats."

LIFE

So. I'm currently jobless, been so for two weeks now.
I'm so bad. I just don't wanna get myself into another job that I end up hating and then stressing and making myself sick again.
But really I don't think I've got much of a choice really.
I have to get a fulltime graphic design job, or go into retail or hospitality or something, cus that's all the exp I've got and it's like you can't try anything new without exp or some kinda uni or tafe course. Kinda sux, cus I want to get into something different.

What I'd like is to do few jobs, try and start doing more freelance graphic design, and learn me some better web skills; start making and selling some hats; and probably just grab a part timer to hold me over when i've got nothing else. That's my current plan of action. We'll see how long that lasts...

COSPLAY

Well PPM is on this weekend and I've been too poor/lazy (pick one) to make a cosplay, so I'm wearing my pirate hat and going as a pirate. Can't wait to see everyone ^_^

HATS

Man, I need to get back into it. I bought some awesome hats from a Retro store on the coast that I'm gonna do up. Planning on finishing that purple top hat, not sure whether to trim it in black or white. White would look sick, but black would match more.
Desperately need male sized top hat block. But with no job...
Oh yeah Melbourne Cup is coming up, I should make a few hats and ebay them, might make myself enough for that block...

SATURDAY!!!
Well i decided not to do Thurs and Friday as it was a trial year, i wanted to work for moneys, i didnt have enough costumes, i dunno pick an excuse.
So i rocked up on Sat with my newly finished beautiful Tea Cup hat! Everyone loved it and there was many business card giving out to be had. Will post a proper devi submission when i get a nicer photo.
To keep this short, as mentioned everyone loved my hat including the special guests from Stargate Atlantis - Paul McGillion 'Dr.Carson Beckett' and David Nykl 'Dr. Radek Zelenka'. I was standing behind Dale waiting for him to get his Signatures and they started talking to me! So nice ^_^

Well I'm currently taking the steps to rename my business, have bought the .com (lol before naming my ebay store and getting my .com stolen), and have designed some business cards and will get working on my website.
I have posted some new hats, am working on some new ones and have placed an order for some felts so I can finally make some TopHats with my new block.

I have two comissions atm, one is proving difficult to get a hold of proper fabric and the other i will be starting shortly for someones costume at Sydnova.

COSPLAY

Not much going on, will need to finish my KH Aeris costume for Casey's bday, and will def need to start the Azumanga Daioh outfits soon.
LIke I've said in past journals, cosplay is interfering with my hats and I will be cutting back a fair bit, but still coming to conventions probably sporting my lovely hats like I did at Animania.

LIFE

Jason is wonderful as always, I feel so blessed to have him in my life.
Money situation is getting better, but work has had a few problems lately. It get difficult to work with one person all day long at times, but I've decided to try and stick it out cus it's very convenient and pays well, and i get the chance to work on my other projects.

Anyways help with making pretty deviantART would help!

Well Jason is ALL clear! The bastard coppas finally dropped the case realizing that had nuthin! And we gave the lawyers the last of the money and all we need to do is pay back my dad now. So that's a weight off!
Job's going well, Money is getting better, and I've come into a shit load of hat blocks and supplies, altho most of the materials are straw hats and flowers, but i got trims and wire, lots of stuff i need. Workshop is coming along nicely.
Been a bit lonely lately. Since i have gone from working in an office to working with one guy. i kinda miss my chick friends. then when i come online theres usually noone to talk to, or theres nothing to talk about. meetups arent as frequent and yeah.i dunno its a bit depressing feeling like i'll be nothing more to people then an acquaintance, i've felt it my whole life. everyone knows who i am, ppl either love me or hate me but most ppl leave it at that. ive only ever really had 2 best friends in my life and most others never last more then a year before we drift apart. its sad.

HATS

Have decided to postpone my business a bit while i study, set up workshop and create my advertising. Will also be renaming and branding my business as the name Evilette Empire kinda restricts me to gothy alternative stuff and i'm getting into alot of vintage hats and other kinds. But it'll still be weird. Think I'll name my mini top hat line "Evilette" tho. i like it too much to give it up entirely.
But yesh, I think it's a good move to not advertise too much, cus atm i can't live up to what ppl will want, i wanna complete my studies first, but i still wanna take on custom orders to build my portfolio.

COSPLAY

Yup doing one thing for Supanova this year. Ropponmatsu 2 on Saturday. She's nearly there, I've left it a bit late but only cus it's fairly easy and i've got all the materials. the ears have got me a bit mystified tho....
I love cosplay but I'm starting to find my priorities leaning towards my hats. I'd rather spend money on a hat block then an elaborate cosplay, so yeah I think i'm only gonna do maybe 2 or 3 a year now.

Well it was good until a few days ago, it was really good.

Firstly I didn't get the job with Samsara, BUT I was referred to this guy, who is rather big in advertising who's taking me on fulltime for twice the money I'm making now! Plus I'm working on big name clients, so this could be quite a big break for me.

I saw Phantom of the Opera and OMG It was SUBERB!!!! Anthony Warlow was excellent and the props and costumes...the sets and the voices! WOW.

WOW.

Rented myself a beautiful new Apple 20" IMAC! 4GB RAM, found me CS3, can;t wait to have some spare time to knock up some designs <3

Ok. Next. My 23rd birthday AND housewarming party is on the 15thof march (my actual bday). I sent out invites...but i didnt get many responces...at all. I even accidentally spammed everyone 4 times...so i know they got them. maybe ppl don't check their emails. or they don't like me. that's prolly it. I usually find most people are booked out on my bday or they've got someone elses party that they like better. maybe next year I'll send out the invites at xmas....

then. Jason's court date is this week, well maybe. He's Case #5, and #1 and #2 will be over quick, but #3 & #4 might go on for two weeks, it depends, so we dunno. We just had to borrow a big amount of cash to pay the lawyer upfront (although we still owe more). Jason's scared cus he has to go in front of a Jury.

For all those who don't know, in about 2005, before i met him, he was driving around in Southport, he came to a roundabout and either he cut some dude off or the guy cut him off (he can't really recall), so Jason stuck his finger up at im, as you do. Now at the time Jason was wearing a full finger amour ring.
OK well sometime later Jason is being pulled into court being accused of pulling a gun on these two guys who were in the car.
If that's not the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard, the cops wanna put him in jail for a min of 6 months and the charge is "Causing Fear in Public" and "Threatening with a deadly weapon" or some bullshit.
He's shown them the ring and they said it's still a weapon. The cops have changed their story several times, eg the size of the gun and type changed and then they claimed that Jason had a woman and child in the car with him! If Jason had a witness don't you think he'd bring her forward, and what kind of person would wave a gun in front of a kid?!
We've finally got him a proper lawyer cus the Legal Aid ppl did jack shit and got him into this mess. So really they don't have a case.

Jason is just scared of the Jury, cus they have to like him. It's obvious that the story is bullshit, what ever happened to Innocent until proven Guilty?! Theres no proof! But it seems in this case it's Guilty until proven Innocent.

I'm scared too. I honestly don't think he'll be fond guilty, but if he is then I won't be able to afford my house on my own. Even having someone rent wont fill Jason's place, he pays half a mortgage, you cant get renters to do that. My backup was Dale before but now hes got a mortgage of his own.

Oh yeah, and there no money for him to get me a present. I'm gonna be hard pressed paying for this party. I was gonna get my hair done, but we can' afford that either.

I'm doing Ropponmatsu 2 in a small group with Dale and Jaz. We're looking for one more girl to be Uni, if anyones interested. Its on the Saturday.

Making cocktail hats in class, ive decided to do a small range of them, they look like they'll be coming along nicely.
Also i have my steamer, so people can order the "Mini Mad Hatters" now. Still waiting on the large top hat block............

Well Atm i'm waiting intently and impatiently and insecurely and anxiously to hear back whether i got this new job or not. *bites nails.
I mean you never know how you went, you can think you did well but i mean what if someone did better then you? AHHH the suspense! And I need this so badly. Well everyone knows that stuff going on that has stirred about the Cosplay Catagory thing. I agree whole heartedly. I also just went through my dev account and edited any of my cosplays that had reference pics on them in fear of them being deleted.
Is it just me or is DA starting to make enemies of us cosplayers? Why is it so hard to accept that Cosplay is Costume Play and deserves its own catagory? *sighs

LIFE

Life is good but money is tight. Houses/living costs a fair bit it seems. So I'm gonna have to cut back on buying myself things, and try not to get carried away with cosplays cus i can't afford it at this point in time.
I still haven't unpacked everything to it's entirety. I've got too much shite hanging around. To finish unpacking my sewing room I need some shelves to put up my amine figurines and things so i can get them outta my cupboard and put storage stuff in their. pain.

COSPLAY

As previously mentioned, money is tight, therefore I can't go overdoing it this year. My really technical ones have been postponed ie Rosso, and I'll be doing for Supanova, a better repeat of Mrs Lovett, Sara Mudo from Angel Sanctuary (unsure of which version yet) and FF7 Tifa.
So yeah, I've got all the bits for my Festival Asuka version now, which i was gonna do for KThon, but now it'll be Gencon, I think.

EVILETTE EMPIRE

Hats. OK well, it's rather decided that I don't have enough time to run a premade hat business so I'll be doing custom requests while I'm finishing my TAFE course. My lovely brother will be lending me some mullah to buy some necessary equipment, including a full size hat block, so i might be able to expand my business. Yey. Other then that I've been working on making my website into a portfolio.

It's so nice to see everyone again, it's always fun and we all love dressing up. and I went as Sweeney Todd and Mrs Lovett; went as Riff, as Cain and as Dr Jizabel, all from GodChild; as that annoying guy from One Piece with the straw hat, as a purple ninja, whoms name I've forgotten, as a WoW character elf thing with awesome doc martens, and others I can't remember or don't have a deviant account. I think I was good to rembemer that much. There were three Lolitas and I know one of them is on here and she was Haruhi once, and another's name was Casey.
We freaked people out in Brisbane, as usual, had some awesome Taro (tiny teddy flavoured) purple milk tea, and took photos.
Sweeney Todd was excellent, but it'll only appeal to those with a love of either Tim Burton, Musicals and Gothicness. Otherwise you'll just either hate the singing, hate the blood, or hate that the gore wasn't "realistic". Or if you're like Robyn you'll not know the story line to begin with and be freaked out when Mrs Lovett turns people into pies. LOL. But i loved it! Lol and my breasts got alot of attention that day. LOL.

Well that's about it really. I'm gonna do this thing as ppl feel special.

I'm mostly moved into my house, and by that I mean 95% of our shit is in....but it's only 30% unpacked. And unpacking is the last thing i want to be doing on my holidays.
My precious precious holidays. Jason's not around atm, he's working...and I'm sitting around waiting for the electricity dude.

So yeah, we've been living here for nearly a week and it's really nice. Just Jason and I. Although Jason got rather used to Cable tv at mums place, so now's he's really keen on getting it back, although they can't install it until the end of January.

Well, my .hack//roots Tabby costume. I think the jewelry alone will cost approx $100. Gotta find some cheap tan knee high boots, which is proving difficult because they are very fashionable right now and ppl keep snatching them up.
Also gotta tone my tummy for then cus Tabby wears a mid drift :S

LIFE

Well not too long before I move into my new house. Gotta get the tenants out first. Their lease runs out this thurs, and then we gotta repaint the place then put down floor boards and new carpet. So we'll be in by xmas.

WORK

Yeah, my fulltime job is getting annoying. It's a very male dominated industry and even though im only a graphic designer, not an architect, the place is a boy's club.

My hats have to go on hiatus (even tho technically they have been for a while) while i move and stuff. Altho i wanna make a few this week to sell.

So must be getting onto that, make one before dinner. Must resist the urge to look up steampunk stuff on ebay. lol. also been doing some sketching and getting back into drawing. bought some charcoal. love charcoal.

Oh yeah I've done stuff.

Dark Fantasy Masquerade Ball

My outfit turned out great! Must post picatures.....Jason looked extremely smexy, as he always does. I was pretty crazy that night, ran around meeting new ppl, staring at the models (they were pretending to be mannequins), watching the stage for a few seconds before getting bored and seeing someones outfit and running over to look at it.
Got very freaked out when I found out 30 mins before I had to hand out prizes that we all chose who we wanted to give them to. Because paradoxes were going thru my head like "what if i give my prize to someone who deserves a better prize?? Do they get two prizes or do i give it to some not so good, but what if the good person doesnt get something then??"
Yeah...so in the end Jason picked for me, he bascially judged on who looked kewl AND was very excited about my hats. Which was alot of ppl, which suprised me. Most people actually know of and like my hats. I'm really hoping ppl aren't buying them cus i sorta stopped putting them on ebay and overly advertising cus of my fulltime job. Yeah and not cus they "they like them, but not enough to buy them". I'm putting the price down...next year. I have no timesssss...anyway i degress...(which is probably the wrong word).
So yeah the Goth Ball was fun, even though it was mainly the younger goth population...Jason felt rather left out, but he expected that. He was happy to watch me.

DOLLFIE MEETUP

Welll. I met one person! Noone else bothered to show up. Nice. She was nice and her Dollfie was awesome and so tall! Poor Tori looked like a Hobbit. I enjoyed comparing them though, he was basically the same size as her only TALL. We met at the Pancake Manor and had Pancakes and Waffles. was goooooooooooooood.

TURKS DAY OUT

this took place directly after the Dollfie Meet, so we turned up to the dollfie meet as Rufus and two Turks! hehehe.
I was Shizune or Cisnee or whatever she's called, Shuriken Turk.
OMFG IT WAS HOT!!!
and my f-ing new shoes blistered the soles of my feet.. i bought the new ones cus my old ons blistered my feet! GRRRRRR.

Ok hot day in Brissy walking around in the sun in SUITS!!!!! RARGGGGG! But it was great to see everyone, freak ppl out, and stuff. Got kicked out of the Convention Centre foyer cus we didnt pre-arrange to take photos there.
We arranged ourselves on the steps instead with all of our weapons pointing towards a direction, and a lady walked around the corner to see everyone pointing weapons at her! LOL.I wish we had have ran at her...*sigh.

Most of us then went back to Robyns place for a "Halloween" (read everyone-come-over-and-see-my-ultimate-bumblebee) Party, and like two of us changed costumes...I was Delirium as a faery and Robyn was Halloween Town Yuffie. Dean forgot Asha and Dale's costumes, and Crystal, Bryan, Jules and Jas stayed turks. Plus Robyns friend Emma came as an angel.

Pizza Hut bizaarly cancelled our order so some of us went down and made them make them, altho not me...i mostly transformed Robyn's bumblebee...
Then we played Taboo until Crystal announced that she should prolly go as the trains might stop on her, so we went home. OMG TABOO WAS FUNNY. i'll leave it at that.

So best things of the day were:
Seeing everyone, (can't be fucked remembering everyones little devi names) the usual group plus more...lol.

Lately I've been a bit depressed cus I don't see my little hat business making enough money to support a morgage. I'll have do work two jobs. ATM i have to do a fulltime job to pay for it and I get no time to make or sell hats cus I'm tired.

It's like ppl can't be want they want to be. I feel like I'm wasting time at this job. It's not my calling, when all day I think of making hats and stuff, designing them in my head, but by the time I get home I'm too tired to work another job. It's not fair.

I prolly shouldn't have got this home. I shoulda rented. But my dad doesn't believe in renting cus you don't own something at the end... and all Jason has ever wanted is a home. I'm doing this for him. Putting my dreams on hold.

How do people afford kids? Like seriously, It's gonna be hard enough to support ourselves let alone kids.. Not that we want any anytime soon.

Kids kill dreams. People mutate their dreams into their kids. They say stupid shit like "My children are my biggest accomplishment". Any dipshit can pop out a kid. It's not hard. It's not an accomplishment. It's the easy way out. Do the norm. Have kids, marry, house, morgage, job you hate.

I'm just gonna have to work two jobs. You have to work hard to get your dreams. If I make a mini top hat a night. start putting them back on ebay maybe.

Thinking about relaunching my business in January. Redesigning stuff, figuring out some wholesaling, only for my mini top hats, bring down some pricing/work out retail prices. Make half my business wholesale, the other half custom hats.

well back to procrastinating. Not alot of work on atm. sux cus usually it all builds up and i get swamped. oh we're moving buildings soon. like not next weekend the weekend after.

Damn it! Why did I have to find the perfect material only to have them tell me it's sold out. They have, however given me another choice, that while it isn't perfect, it's close and I spose it's gonna have to do.I will have to show tonight on the one she's offered us. It's cheaper. LOL. would wanna be.....
Went with to buy patterns while they were still half price. Did pretty well for him. Got one really close to Jeremiah's outfit. First one we found actually. SCORE!
Will need to buy some fabric soon so we can start with the making. Been considering using both satin and velvet for my Euphemia dress. Something different, maybe a little more Royal then simply cheap satin.

BUSINESS
Maybe I should have mentioned earlier that I make miniature top hats?
LOL. Went to a Wholesale Gift Fare this weekend. Found a couple of things I might add to my shop, when I've got some more moneys to invest. ATM I'm flat out with working fulltime, saving for Manifest and for a home. Considering putting just a few hats on ebay. Should probably keep myself still in the market.

WORK
ahhh I have to submit the entry for the Design awards tomorrow. And NOW my bosses decide to sit down and change everything!!! I had it ready to go minus the text. Stress Stress Stress. It took my a few days to come up with what I've got now.

Jason and I were having fortune cookies the other night. Jason's read "Your dreams are never silly. Depend on them to guide you"
Now.
When you used to sit around and talk about your dreams, running down a hall, flying, normal shit like that. Jason was the one who came out with "yeah and the dream where you are running through a mall with swords slicing people up.." and all you hear from people is crickets.
I don't think the fortune cookie will hold up in a court of law.....

COSPLAY

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I found the ribbed knitted fabric that Seishin Kibou, Noen and myself have been searching for for so long! Ok a few months, but still. I need it for Rinoa, Noen for FF7 Crisis Core Solider and Seishin for Yuffie! Its off white so we'll dye it!

I'm going to Manifest! WOOOT! I didn't think I'd have monies, or enough after I payed some debts and saved some monies for our house but yeah I will be scrapping it in, just. I won't have alot of monies to spend on crap at Manifest, which is a shame cus Tamarket is based in Melbourne. Need more Asukas!!! No...I'm not Tiffany Grant...*darts eyes*

I'll just be appearing as two characters: Rinoa Hearilly from FF8 (with Seifer, Squall and Quistis, i believe) for 2 days, and Euphemia Li Britannia (ceremony gown) from Code Geass (with a massive group) Group on Sunday, but I'll be her at the Ball.

I've tracked down the wig for Euphie (theres actually a Wig on ebay), and I already have a pattern for most of the dress. I'll need to purchase alot of white and pale pink satin, three pink roses and a pedicoat.
For Rinoa, Material is coming for her "cape", but i'll need dye (may get it done at the dry cleaners, apparently they do that), need to track down a wig and probably buy some loose hair to weave in her highlights, buy shoes, top, maybe make the denim (?) skirt, buy tight pants and add zippers, lol i think thats all...oh and her ribbon. I already have her necklace with the Squall ring!

LIFE

yeah work... got sick recently, that was fun *snort* I had a vomit/nausea type thing that morphed into a flu. real fun. Was all dehydrated so I got to have a drip in my arm. It makes you really REALLY cold cus the fluids are going in so quickly. LOL i had to take the drip thingy for a walk to the bathroom. Took like an hour and half to wait for them to get in me.
Jason is great as usual. And well he's himself. cheeky. evil. all that. *sigh*
I finally got round to watching the fist two Bleach DVDS and the Tenchi Muyo - Ryo Ohki series. Still need to finish Abenobashi Magical Shopping Arcade and watch Ergo Proxy, Jason has had them with him in the car cus i got him a portable dvd for his bday.

Thats been it. Oh yeah and these Strawberry Strepsils are strawberry for like a few seconds and then taste like strawberry burning.
