I wanted to try the trial of the latest version, but there seemed to be an issue with it where the brushes panel didn't show up. A proposed work around online suggested runnig the program n the rosetta PowerPC emulator. I tried that, but it just corrupted the program, and prompted me to reinstall. So I did. Now when I try use the program it says my trial time has expire. Since when does 60 days equal 30 minutes?

Frustrated, I tried going back to my old version to see if it was really as bad I thought.

Which brings me to another problem: my rosetta emulated programs have a habit of randomly logging off of my computer. Since my old version of corel painter essentials is PowerPc only, I had to run it in rosetta. And it randomly logged me off... rendering basically useless unless I save after every mark I make.. and saving itself could cause me to randomly log off... so it's basically useless.

Interestingly, I was looking at a canvas in a museum that was painted red, green and blue. I noticed that when I turned my head, the red and green mixed to create yellow, which goes along with additive color theory.

Matches are either 3 minutes in length or the first to 5 touches, whichever comes first. In Epée, the entire body is a valid target.

The first was quite long in length, and I was behind in the beginning. But I manages to pull through in the end and win 5-4.

My second match, however, was epic! Nearly a minute passed before either of us scored a point. When just under a minute was left, my opponent was ahead of me 2-1. We continued to jab at each other, but every blow was parried. I glanced over at the clock, which read 0:13, and I knew I had to make my move. I went at him with everything I had left and managed to get a touch on him and tie it 2-2 at 3 seconds remaining. I let the remaining 3 seconds tick down to initiate the sudden death round. After a few more parried blows, I stuck him in the thigh and won the match.

I have come to realize this will be the first time I'll have my birthday before I start school. Makes me feel weird.

Weird is a weird word because the "i" doesn't come before the "e."

In other news my pinky is healing up nicely from the little mishap I had earlier this month.

More recently: my computer made a noise yesterday. The noise started and stopped abruptly, and lasted only a few seconds. I have experienced no decrease in performance, but the sound still perturbs me.

I'm currently working on a new mask.. this time it will be an avian. I hope to finnish it during the next couple of days.

That's all I have to say for now.

I remained relatively unscathed until that night. While setting up for the second act, I tore gash in my left pinky on the sheild of a suit of armor prop.

I tired to deny I had cut myself, since I was in a dark room. But after a few seconds, I could feel the blood freely flowing.

So they whipped out the first aid kit, smeared on copious amounts of antiseptic, and wraped my finger in gauss, bands and duct-tape. I told told them I would be able to finnish the performance that night.

Makes me sad though, as every time I finnish a game, book or any kind of story I feel like I've destroyed my connection to another world.

It has always been difficult for me to reread a book... the characters seem dead to me.

I guess this explains why there are so many fan fictions out there; people don't want to loose that connection.

I looked out the window, and the world what swarming with bees. On closer inspection, it was revealed that they were moths colored like monarch butterflies, and some were actually monarch butterflies.

I went outside through the garage door to find my front lawn covered deeply with brown leaves. On my front lawn there is a concrete path that leads to the front door of my house. I walked down approximately where it was.

Kicking a pathway through the leaves I realized that on my front porch there were alligator's... or maybe crocodiles... I could never remember the difference.

I thought I could sneak past them by sidling along the stone wall of my house to the front door. About half of the way there the alligators began to stir. To my horror I could see hat the deep layer of leaves concealed a great number of the reptiles.

One of them awoke, I kicked it trying to scar it off, but instead it charged me. I sprinted through the deep leaves back to my garage.

But before I made it there, I saw all the insects had disappeared from the other side my the house. Now, frightening me a great deal, was a pack of a hundred dark gray wolves with chilling blue eyes. I stopped and stared at them fro a moment, for the alligator that had been chasing me disappeared.

I walked away from the wolves and looked into my garage. They were no cars in it. But there was the alligator. I froze for a second... then sprinted past it and trough the door in my garage... arriving safely in my house.

It was pretty cool. After a continental breakfast, I took a tour of the School of Visual arts, then ate in the cafeteria, and finished up with a trip to check out he dorms.

My favorite part of the tour was when they showed a power point called "Meet the Class of 2012." In it they showed selected pieces from the portfolios we had sent in. [link] got some time on the silver screen.

The rest of the trip we walked around the Boston area. Didn't get to checkout any of the museums. I also took barely any photographs.

I think the likely hood of me going to Kennesaw State University has lessened to it difficulty to graduate from in 4 years.

CSU just got a big plus because I won a scholarship, it'll get me free housing for the first year.

SAIC and BU are gosh darn expensive but have great reputations and offer more exposure to the art scene.

This weekend I'm taking a trip to Boston to see the university there, then the week after I'm taking another trip to SAIC. After that I'll only have a week left to decide.
