So today me and David went to see "Shoot em Up" it was AWESOME

Clive Owen was insane, you guys HAVE to see this movie. It was kinda action packed, but there was a lot of comedy in it too

Sorry for my absence on DA, my boyfriend quit his job last week so I've been able to see him a lot more

I'm really proud of him, he went on Monday for his security license and then at the end of the month is going for his armed security license

I kinda have mixed feelings about it....but I'm sure you guys aren't interested in that..so on to features!!!!!!

Just wanna thank everyone for all their support this past week

I've been really busy so I haven't had the chance to respond to comments and stuff just yet, but as soon as I have the chance I will.

So I've noticed there seems to be a little bit of controversy over my news article "A World full of Heroes", which really wasn't my intention. I understand that in some peoples opinion the kind of heroes I decided to feature wasn't exactly the same type that they personally consider heroes. I don't really understand this point of view, but everyones different. The MAIN reason why I choose firefighters, police officers and soliders was because it's September! I thought it would be nice to acknowledge all the heroes that put their lives on the line 6 years ago due to the violent acts that took place on September 11th. I really just wanted to do something to show support for them. After all it takes a lot of bravery to do what they do and I will always refer to them as heroes....because thats exactly what they are. Anyways i'll be putting out a poll for next months news article sometime this week

I'm sorry to do this but I won't be on DA much this week. We have been putting down new tile in my house and I have soo much stuff I have to do!! I haven't checked out anyones new deviations for like 2 days now, and I'm soo sorry!!! I'll try to get to them tomorrow, but I may not have a lot time to leave comments or answer comments right away

But on the brighter side...I'm kinda glad this is all happing right, it's really kept my mind busy

So that's whats going on right now, no time to take pictures...no time for anything really

So obviously I've been a bit busy these past weeks, I'm so sorry for not being on here as much as I used to. A lot has been going on in my life and I've been kinda stressed out

About a month ago I found a small lump on my breast, when I went for a ultrasound they were unable to detect it, which was kinda a relief but at the same time leaves me wondering. I've been anticipating my test results for almost two weeks now!! Yesterday I finally got in touch with my doctors office, and was kinda shocked to hear that they found a different lump, then the one I went in for

They think it's just a cyst, which is relatively normal. But she also wants me to follow up with a breast surgeon. I have to admit I'm really freaked out, I know it's probably nothing....but I just can't help but think "what if" I made an appointment with the specialist, but the earliest he can see me is AUGUST 16th

So for the next month I might be a little distracted, so please forgive me! Anyways sorry if it takes me awhile to comment on dev, answer comments and read journals!!

There are A LOT!!! I'am afraid though of having too many

Is there such a thing as too macro shots??? In part though I'm hoping that by having soooo many macro thumbs, it will shed light on the fact that deviantart really really needs to bring back the "macro" category!!! What do you guys think?? I promise each shot is amazing, and worth being featured

So the window guys canceled for today

Oh well...at least I have internet now

They said they will be here first thing in the morning, so I won't have internet tomorrow and maybe Saturday. David finally has off from work tomorrow

So were probably gonna go shoot some picture

So I'm really glad that I moved things around my house the other day, in preparation for the new windows....they called at 7:45 this morning to tell us they were coming TOMORROW!!!!

So I spent all day today helping my mom take down blinds, rearrange more furniture, pack a few things up and put plastic over furniture

I'm so tired now. So my dad is going to be disconnecting the internet tomorrow, and I will be without it for the most part of the day, and maybe until Friday

I'll catch up on everyones journals and new deviations by the end of tonight, can't promise to comment on every single one..there are quite a few..but I'll do my best

I almost forgot, my boyfriend has joined DA, so check out his gallery and let him know what you think

Now for some bad news, MY LENS IS BROKEN

The zoom ring isn't working, it spins completely around without making the lens zoom

I do not understand how this could have happened, I'm so careful with my lens!!! I haven't dropped it, never had it in the lock position, NEVER forced it to turn...in anyway, and I haven't even used my 300mm zoom lens in awhile

It has been sitting in my camera bag, protected (well..apparently not...)??!!?? Has this ever "randomly" happened to anyone else

I'm sooo upset

I'm probably going to have to get it fixed professionally...if it's even fixable, which I don't have the money for right now

THIS REALLY REALLY SUCKS

Anybody have any suggestions?

Sorry I have not been on that much this past week

I haven't really been feeling very well. I've been to the doctors and they are in the process of ruling out kidney stones

This really sucks

I have like 200+ journals to go through and like 1000+ deviations. But I promise I will go through them all! Anyways just wanted everyone to know why I have not been on that much, hope everyone has a great weekend!

Well I'm off to the doctors for more tests...wish me luck

I've been really busy so I haven't been able to thank everyone for all their comments on it and

Sorry for the delay in this weeks features!! Ive been really busy these past few days, trying to figure out my new computer!!

Anyways I hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day, and a nice weekend! I am still trying to figure out my new photo editing program, so it might take me a little while to upload the pictures from Flamingo Gardens! But thank you to everyone for all your advice, and links to helpful sites!!!! Cant wait to see all the new deviations you all will submit this week

So I finally have a new computer

Yay

I decided to go with a laptop, I really needed the portability

It was a really hard decision, but in the end I went with the 17 inch MacBookPro!!!!!

It's going to take me quite some time to get used to it, so please bare with me

I haven't bought any photo editing programs yet, I'm waiting to buy those through my school

But I guess I can still use my old Compaq desktop (Ya...it's ancient) to edit my pictures. Although I'm not really sure what kind of editing programs my mac has on it, if any. Can anyone fill me in...i feel really lost

I'm really happy though cause the guy at the store said mac has a program already on my computer that will allow me to open RAW files!!! So I'm super excited!!! I guess I'll be shooting in RAW format soon (if i can figure out the program)

Anyone have any tips?? Or any links to free mac download sites????

So I'm not sure how many of you are aware of the brush fires we are having here in Florida, but

It is sooo smoky outside, and the haze is insane. Even though the fires are way up in the northern part of Florida...the way the wind is blowing, the smoke down here, in Fort Lauderdale is tremendous!!!

Well I hope to upload some pictures either today or tomorrow! Me and my bf, went to Flamingo Gardens the other day and I took some pictures

Anyways I apologize for not being on much this past week

My inbox is kinda flooded a bit, and I haven't been able to check out everyone's new deviations

So please forgive if I do not get a chance to comment on them, I probably will just add them to my favs...I hope nobody minds
