Between my Jeep, Big Bore, and the dozens of firearms I have (which most I have graciously named as well), I will be starting another project.   Project FlatTop.   So far details are scarce, but the project has started seeing as how I have half of it in my possession and the rest is currently being built.  <br />

                <description><![CDATA[ I have to say, I went into the thearter to see shooter with low expectations.  I went in thinking to myself 'I'm going to get a movie with a guy and a remington 700 and he's going to just shoot everyone'.  And well, that is exactly what I got and it was fucking awesome.  I walked out of the thearter and wanted to go to my favorite 200 yard range and start throwing some groups on some paper.  Haha.<br />

Good action movie, thought it cant compare to 300's brilliance, (I can't compare apples to oranges), if you are looking for a reason to go out on a friday night.  If you want to see a movie that would make FPS Doug proud, go see this movie.<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ ...FUCKED UP.   I honestly have heard very little about Jim Zumbo before this whole thing happened, but I am very happy with what I am hearing so far.  Here is the Scoop.<br />

Jim Zumbo is a 'Professional hunter' and has his own TV show and writes for outdoor life.  He has been a hunter for 42 years, and now his world is crumbling around him.<br />
<br />
Recently, Jim Zumbo called the ar15 a 'terrorist' weapon and has no place in the sporting arms community.<br />
<br />
Remington, Mossy Oak, and Cabelas have severed all ties and sponsorships with Mr. zumbo because he is a FUCKING MORON. <br />
<br />
I applaud Remington's, Mossy Oaks, and Cabelas Decision to drop Zumbo like the moron he is.  Us gun lover and advocates are all ready under attack from people like the Brady Bunch and the ignorant population who think guns are the anti-christ of the world, the last thing we need is a Hunter to tell the entire community that certain 'types' of guns should not be allowed.  It is abhorrid.  While I respect his freedom of speach, I've lost what little respect I had for the man.  He is nothing more then any other anti-gunner to me.  AR15s arent my thing, but by no means should they be banned or called terrorist weapons!<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ Jeep XJ is going under the knife soon.  New gears, 4.56 ratio for the rear and new Mickey Thompson MTZ and locking the front and rear differentials.  I'll be the baddest ass jeep on 3.5" of lift.  heheheh.<br />

Guns, well you know.  Saving up for the Marlin 45-70.  Teddy Roosevelt had his Big Medicine (winchester Model 1895 in .405 WCF, for those uneducated few <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/letters/=p.gif" width="15" height="15" alt=":P" title=":P (Lick)" /> ), the Marlin 45-70 will be mine.  Going to be my next project, will be getting the stainless steel version.  Don't own any stainless steel guns and the Marlin Guide Gun looks good in stainless.<br />

I know I have been in a creative slump, but do not fear!  I will be back with avengence when i stop spending money on guns and my jeep and buy a new computer!  I will continually update with awesomely sweet pictures of my guns from here on out, but don't expect too much from the photoshop department since i dont have acess to it anymore or a legit computer that can run it.<br />

As for now, I hope you all enjoy the nearing christmas season...or haunukka or that other holiday yeah.  >.>   christmas, thats what I'm here for.<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ The bad and the goddamn ugly.<br />
<br />
I'll give you the bad first because well, it is the bad news.  Compis dead.  Fried. Woulnd't start, or boot to desktop.  Wouldn't recognize my harddrive.  Couldn't reformat becuase when I got angry i beat the thing into oblivion and broke not one, but both of my CD drives.<br />
<br />
The Good thing is though my Xbox 360 is running awesome and DOOM I just came out on xbox live.  Holy badassness batman!  This game was awesome 13 years ago and its still fucking awesome now.<br />
<br />
The ugly.  There is a box of 175 Grain .308 winchester BTHP Match Ammunition with my computers name right on it.  It's gonna be one hell of a day at the range.<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ My computer is almost dead.  It will only run in safe mode now and will continue to until it shits the bed.  I refuse to spend money on a new computer when I have guns to buy and build and a Jeep that needs new gears and a rear diff locker.  The XJ is on 33" MTRs and the Remington got a full action job this past week.  Trued bolt face, lapped rings, smooth as silk rails.  Just got some black hills 175 grain HPBT, I'm going to see if they are any more accuray then the 168 grain stuff.  <br />
<br />
Going to get a scope on my 717 HMII later this month, so watch out for that and I'm contemplating getting a stock for it as well, but I can't seem to find one.  gun must be too new.  Maybe Boyds has one.<br />
<br />
My next big project will probably be another remington 700, but this time chambered in the super fast 17 Remington (are you starting to see a pattern here?).  Muzzel velocities up to 4200 FPS but with such a small bullet, it is really only good out to 300 yards or so, but thats OK.  Groundhogs will still die and luckily all the stuff that I'll be replacing on my .308 remington will be 'given' to the 17 since it is the same action, but different bolt (I'll use a remington 700 .223 boltface since the 17 Remington is based off the .223, just necked down to a 20 or 25 grain 17 caliber bullet).  This build won't happen for a very long time and I might have to part with some guns to finance it.  And then maybe I'll get a pre saftey Marlin 1895G in 45-70 and split some trees.  <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/r/razz.gif" width="15" height="15" alt="=P" title="=P (Razz)" /><br />

                <description><![CDATA[ I've been working on my Remington 700P LTR and my Jeep.  Jeep is giving me problems because...well, it isn't machined from a billet of steel like my remington.  Tolerances mean everything.  Besides, I'm a gunsmith, not a mechanic, I can deal with guns, cars tend to bring out the worst in me.  I'm saving up though, for some 33" BFG MTs for the jeep and a McMillan stock as well as a Leupold 4.5x14 50mm scope with some BO scope mount and rings.  <br />

I need monies.  Lots of Cash monies.  My hobbies are too expensive....but I love them too much.<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ My job is going well it seems...and I recently purchased BLACK for Xbox.<br />
<br />
Don't listen to what people say, this game is fucking awesome.  Why would you not want a true run and gun gritty intence shooter?  So many have tried this equasion of making a good intence run and gun, but have failed miserably (Halo 2) while others have succeeded with such astonishing results.<br />
<br />
The game doesn't have a multiplayer, sure, but it is simply to say that this game nonetheless had plenty of inspiriation to it.  Live action cut scenes for one, a BIG plus for me.  I don't know if anyone rememberes Smugglers warzones for gamecube, that had live action cutscenes, and as corney as they where, they added the certain element to the game you can't find with computerized cutscenes, and the same thing that happened with black.  <br />
<br />
Anyway, if you have a ps2 or an xbox, but the game, if you are cheap, it is probably the best weekend rental.  Ever. ]]></description>

'Are you guns REAL??'<br />
  No you stupid commie, they are fake, thats why I list the calibers in the description.  Every gun in my Deviantion section is REAL.  I only own one airsoft gun, a Beretta Pistol, and it is all plastic, and its a peice of junk.<br />
<br />
A good airsoft gun is worth just as much as a mossberg 590 12 Gauge or a Marlin or Winchester Lever Action.   Christ, I purchased the Norinco 97 Riot Gun for less then $300 and turned it into a Trench gun.  Sorry, airsofting is fun and all, but its not for me.<br />
<br />
Also, It makes me rather mad sometimes when people post pictures of their airsoft gun in the Military Photography section.  No offence to the people who do, but c'mon, the military doesn't use airsoft guns.  They use the real deal...and just because it is a gun, doesn't mean it is military...<br />

I just started a conversion from a Yugo 48 Mauser 8mm to a custom 30-06 sporter.  I'm working on the barrel right now, I chambered it a few days ago, now I'm tapering it on a lathe...then the stockwork and trigger work...already bent the bolty handle...then sights.  insanity.<br />

School has been going great, I actually got four .308 chambers done, and Now I am working on the Prize Machine gun double barrel which is really pissing me off, and also two .17s that are going along rather smoothly.  It was hard to chuck up the 17 MkII barrel into the lathe after I had cut it down to 17 - 5/8", so I ad to use other methods of settling in on the lathe, which too a bit off my time...<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ School is going OK.  Third semester  isn't the greatest in the world, since  I watch machines do all the work...I  just set it up.  I need to know how to  use these Lathes and Milling machines,  but it becomes so droning after a long  time.  I admire people with the  patience to be a machinist...Oh well.   It will grow on me, maybe once i start  getting a bit more complex projects.<br />

Anyway, E3 is here and all this 'great'  news on the new video game consoles and  the new video games is actually  starting to bum me out, BIGTIME.  So  far, Xbox 360 is going to be released  at a price of $500 and Playstation 3  will also be released at $500.  Uhm,  does anyone else have that kind of  money for video games?  I might be  slowly losing touch with the video game  community, but I am failing to take  this stuff seriously since the average  games for these systems will run  $59.99.  Sure, ONLY $10 more, but  still...bleh.  So far, Nintendos system  seems to be the only one I might be  looking forward to leaning more about.   It not only has backwards  compatability, but supreme backwards  compatability, paying a small fee to  download (yes, nintendo finally fully  supports online play) games that date  back to even NES, or so says the  Nintendo Website.   Lets all hope these  people in the video game industry get  their act together, because this stuff  is right around the bend.<br />

Anyway, in terms of gunsmithing, My  tactical shotgun is pretty much done.   I'm pinching pennys becuase I am really  tring to save up for the Beretta Cx4  Storm in .45 ACP.   People don't like  it becuase it has a plastic hammer and  trigger and the trigger pull is too  heavy.  (Others don't like the way it  looks, be then again, some people say  the M16/M4 is an ugly gun, whereas I  think it looks kick ass)  Those  problems can be easily fixed by  replacing the hammer and the trigger  with metal ones, but I really don't  think I would need to.  Beretta is high  quaility stuff, and I doubt they would  release 'hardened polymer' internals  without the proper justifications that  it would outlast metalic parts.  Their  shotguns are brilliant peices of  artowork and their pistols are not bad,  but they sure as hell don't  suck....like glocks...Bleh...<br />

Well, it seems I've been minorly  ranting on and if I didn't stop myself,  I propoblay would have rambled on into  oblivion.   Plan for a minor update  come this weekend.                 <description><![CDATA[ Indeed.  Evolution.  It seems I already  have a project set out for me.  I have  already created a Combat Shotgun from  WWII, now, my newest project is to  build up a Combat shotgun from the most  recent shotguns out there and outfit it  with some of the most high tech stuff I  can find.  I'll take a few weeks, but  It'll get done, check back soon and You  will see in pictures, the Evolution of  the Combat Shotgun.<br />

                <description><![CDATA[ As stockmaking comes to a close, I  should have my third stock done  tomorrow.  I restocked the Shotgun in  my past deviantion: Once Broken, Now  Fixed.  The stock is came along  beautifully and I can't wait for it to  be completed.<br />
<br />
Anyway, I recently aquired Rammstein's  Latest CD, Reise Reise.  What a  kick-ass CD.  Most of the songs are  great while few are left to be desired.   Reguardless, I'm going to listen to  them all equally.<br />
<br />
Machine tool starts soon, so I really  won't be working on too many guns, sad  to say, but I will have other projects  I need to complete, such as my 500  Mariner.  I'll be making plenty of  custom tools that help me with my  gunsmithing.  Most of the tools I will  be making one could buy, but it's so  much cooler making them.  XD<br />

Oh yeah, and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory  is great.  I can't get enough of this  game.<br />

I should be done with a few projects  after easter and then I'll be starting  another.   I really don't mind making  the stocks for my guns, it is just a  dire pain in the fucking ass to finish  them.  The filler slowly closes the  pours of the wood, but if you want a  good finish you need to have the stock  look like glass, and in teh shop there  is so much dust from the lathes,  bansaws and whatnot, i never get it  perfect.  I've been reduced to simple  polyurethane for a finish on top of the  wood sealer.  It looks great, but I  know its not going to help me get the  grade. ]]></description>
