As people may ( or may not ) have noticed, I haven't exactly been putting much up on here lately!
I now have another account purely for photography called :devPrimaryReasont: which is where most of my most recent work has been going. So if you see one or two of the images on here twice, don't worry! That one is not an art thief

I will be keeping a mixture of work on here, but most of it will be more traditional work, and the occassional bit of photography.

I am now at uni doing a Foundation in Art and Design while I try to find the path that I think is best for me! ( which is so much harder than it sounds! )

As people may have noticed I've suddenly got a load of fish in my gallery
This is for an art project I'm doing at the moment by taking these beautiful fish and making them abstract by looking at the artist Vincent Scarpace.

I'm slightly shocked at the amount of comments and favourites on my little fish already but thank you! Didn't realise they'd be such a popular subject

I have some photographs which were taken by myself and my father ~PrimaryEffect in the Red Sea which was an amazing diving experience.

I hope the month went well for everyone, and I apologise that I have been delayed submitting pictures as I've been back for about 3 weeks now! Whoops!

Although I do hope you like the pictures I have submitted, unfortunatley I did not take my Nikon D40x as I was worried about breaking it, although the pictures I did take have turned out alright and I've had 3 s on 'Jungle Vines' already which is always nice!

Borneo was an amazing experience and if anyone ever has the chance to go on a trip with World Challenge for a month despite it being hard work getting the money by yourself and actually being out in another country its so much fun and so worth the effort!

A level Art . . .

Ah yes in about a week I am back to school ( YAAAY! ) And I got my results for my As level art, ( was a B was so hoping to get an A, worked my damn ass off ) but now I'm still on my 7 Deadly Sins Project, and because I've been away for so much of the summer holidays I'm a bit behind on work so no doubt in the next few weeks or so I may put a few pieces up on here from this project. I'm currently mixing the idea of beautiful women in dresses with Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Chrismas' character Sally, aswell as Corpse Bride's character Emily. So there may be a few odd looking pictures up here soon I'm using a fair bit of watercolour at the moment which is fairly new to me and no doubt I'm doing something wrong. But I'll just hope people will pick at my pictures when they're uploaded and correct me on my appalling technique

Once again I have returned from a long abscence, and I need to submit more photographs and my dragon artwork ( did a whole art A level project on dragons which was so much fun )

In 2 and a half weeks I am off to Borneo for a month, so you get rid of me once again, hopefully I should get some amazing pictures from there, only taking a cheap camera though, don't want my lovely Nikon D40X getting ruined!

My current Art Project is on the 7 deadly sins, and have refered to some of 's beautiful work, which you have probably all seen before as she is so well known on DA! I shall submit some of my own work on here soon

Hello again people!

If you hadn't guessed by the numerous new pictures, I've returned to DA from being absent for a long while. The pictures I have been submitting of late, the roses and lillies, are for my A level art project on small enviroment, I've chosen to look at flowers and insects, such as spiders ( Which has led to looking at crustations such as crabs ). Which is going fairly well at the moment, I've got pretty much all the written work over and done with now.

However - I have noticed several people seem to like my photographs and my pastel drawing of my lillies and roses, so I may be tempted to put some of my other pieces up onto here, including some from my first project on expressionism ( Which was given a B grade - 3 marks off an A ). So I may submit more pictures soon It requires a trip to college with my camera which I'm terrified of damaging.

As you guys may have noticed I've gone photo crazy recently This is because after getting my GCSE exam results got my first proper camera

I got 2 As (one was in art wooop!) 4 Bs , 4 Cs and a D xD

But yes, my new camera is a Nikon D40x so hopefully i should be getting some good pictures
At the moment I'm experimenting with nature, and once the white roses I have bloom properly, I'll be getting some nice shots of them. But I couldn't resist taking pictures of my puppy He's not much of a poser though!

I go back to school on the 6th, so possibly less stuff from me then as I'm starting my A levels ( woo hoo ) so I may actually be busy working.

I'd like some feedback on some of the stuff I've been submitting if thats alright, I want to know what you guys do and don't like! Plus how I can improove.

What do you think is the difference between good art, and bad art?

I believe that good art requires thinking and talent and skill.
I believe bad art can be done by anyone, including a 4 year old.

I've recently gone to the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Art Academy in London. I was shocked. I appreciate art, and I love to look at it, and to say what I think about it. However, some of the stuff here, in my opinion, was insulting to art and artists alike! Sorry, but alluminium, pink paint and a BIN LINER on a piece of wood, is not worth something stupid like £40,00. Nor is a grey bookshelf worth £72,00.... Grr!

Anyway... Yes that was a short rant from me.

So yes, what do you think?

I hope everyone is having a fun summer holidays (Or whatever season it is for you)
I shall be off to France again next month so hopefully I shall be coming back with some new photography for you all!!

I apologise the only stuff I have submitted is not very good I know But I've been experimenting with faces and people and things. So for now thats what you're going to be stuck with untill I do some decent photography!

But anyway, I doubt I will submit much as I have 19/20 books to read The First Casualty by Ben Elton being the one I'm currently on.

Today I travelled to London and went to a gallery, and in all honesty, some of the stuff thats on the walls is an embaressement to art and artists alike. A painting that looks like its been done by a 4 year old selling for £40,000 ?! Its riddiculous. Whats even worse is some smegger bought it!! However, despitemost of the gallery being shamefull, there was a few pieces that were very good, and were selling fairly cheaply (about £400-£600). However, I don't have that kind of money

Oh well! I shall see you all soon, hopefully with some half decent art work!

Sorry I havnt done anything for ages, I've been stupidly busy.

16th Jan last month was my 16th birthday which was good fun, my good mates Ami, Carrie, Ash and a few others that went there are on DA so be sure to check them out (I'll make a seperate section for them in a bit). Like the title says in about 18-22 months time I shall be going to Borneo with World Expedition. However, I need to rais £3,300 myself.

At the moment all I have is £70. I know I have a long time to go but I want to be ready. One of my friends suggested I make a print account on here to sell my art work to make money for it. But seeing as you guys are the ones who look at my art I want to see what you think first!

Also, any suggestions on what else I could do to raise the money would be welcomed.

Sorry I haven't been on much recently, and I apologize for all the crappy shirt designs... I got bored I have my excuses though, piled up with coursework at school and other stuff.
Like performing and band practices and parties... I have another one this weekend ^^

Also Friday 5th I went to a Seether concert in the Astoria in London with Dilbert >.> and today (Tuesday 10th) I went to a Disturbed concert in the Astoria in London with my dad, cause he is cool

I may have some pictures from Disturbed but I'm not sure how they turned out...

On Saturday 6th of October 2006 I sung and played guitar for a charity, this charity was a Muscular Dystrophy campaign, and performing for them was one of the most fantastic things I have ever done in my life. I would just like to send out my thanks to everyone there and pray that a cure is found soon.

Also recently at school I have been doing alot of art coursework on animals which are meant to be in the style of an old artist - Franz Marc. So I may take a camera into school and take photographs of them as they are too big for my scanner. I wish my scanner could just magically grow overnight.. Would be fun if it did Yes... So I should have some nice big pictures up on here soon of strangely coloured lions, and elephants and giraffes. Sorry if you dont like any of them

I am also thinking of going on a photography trip with my good friend Trevor ~godworshiperguitar who I know from church who is awesome. So we may be going on a trip to the woods to do some photography, or just get some at church.

Bah, curse you !!

Well, here goes my damn tagging...

I have just returned from skiing in austria, 24 hour coach journey X.x not fun.

For those who have been looking at my photo graphs - The Poison series - You will have noticed a load of riddles with them. These ones -

1 - Glittering points that downward thrust
Sparkling spears that never rust.

2 - They come at night without being fetched
And are lost without being stolen

3 - Only one colour, but not one size
Stuck at the bottom yet easily flies
Present in the sun but not in the rain
Doing no harm and feeling no pain.

4 - You use a knife to slice my head
and weep beside me when I am dead.

5 - Throw it off the highest building and it will not break.
Throw it in the ocean and it shall.

6 - In marble walls as white as milk.
Lined with skin as soft as silk
With a fountain crystal clear
A golden apple does appear.
No doors are there to this stronghold
You thieves break in to steal the gold.

Any idea what the answers are? hehe

I have just been on another photo frenzy and as you can see did alot of pictures of wine glasses with coloured water and candles around them.

I was wondering what you thought of these and should I try out some other colours?

Today I went in for an Epee (fencing) comp at Epsom, the outcome - no bruises (for a change) and two first place medals

Heylo all again, for people who actually look at my awfull page... I have been experimenting with pictures of candles, then realised I left the gas in the kitchen on :S so luckily I didnt blow anything up, apart from singe my hair. So I may put some more up soon... Unless I get bored of them. I'm slowly starting to use photoshop so I re-did the Blue and Pink one [link] so it now has all the candles rather than half of one cluster missing.

I am still drawing on the wall and I may take pictures and put them in my scraps as I go along as i have one of the main dragons bodies nearly finished, and so are the symbols.
