Life is so shitty sometimes, yeah?

Well i just thought I'd let you know I didnt forget about all of you, my Deviantart friends, and that I am still an active artist, just not very active on Deviantart. Partly because the death of my dear scanner *weep weep*

but in any case, i'd also like to inform all of you that I will (Hopefully) be updating within the week. its finals this week too -_-; so we'll see how THAT goes.

“‘Deadeye’?” I repeated, looking incredulously at Faitn, “His name is Deadeye? He likes to pick off his visitors with a stungun, or what?”
Faitn laughed, “I heard he’s dropped a couple…. Perhaps not…” He shrugged, still laughing behind his own eyes. I didn’t laugh- I sort of grinned. Sort of. He’d said we were going to meet someone. You’d figure someone to Faitn would be a high ranking officer- or someone from Draco- or someone from Tau- or even some restaurant owner. But no- we were way down in Freaktown, way down in the slums of Freaktown; so far, I was afraid to wander even a few feet from Faitn. I wondered why we were here, and wondered, by how the way he walked confidently, how many times he’d been here before. “Maybe it’s because he has a dead eye.” He added, still light hearted.
“A dead eye.” I said.
“Yes, it doesn’t look too nice.” He chuckled again; I almost smiled, and then realized that he wasn’t kidding.
“Why doesn’t he get it fixed?
“Well… some say he’s half crazy… they wouldn’t be too far off, but he really does have a nice side.”
“Okay… if he’s crazy, why are you taking me to meet him?”
“I think you’ll like him.” He said it with such certainty that I shrugged and gave in, “Okay… Let’s see if I do.”

So, i am writing from my grandma's computer! omg! XD I can't post art for awhile, but in the meantime, i'll post a lovely Faitn X Ryo story because I can. I don't know why I said lovely. XD

Okay so heads up people! Story is fantasy/sci-fi which is wierd for me since i don't usually read/write science fiction.. hm... anyway... it WILL have ahem.. let's use fanfic terms, lemon parts. XD just a few, that's not the point of this story. Beginning is probably as boring as the fifth Harry Potter. yeoch yes I just said that XD

Chistopher Paolini on Crack?
WARNING MAJOR MOVIE SPOILERS!!!!!

I saw Eragon the day it came out. So, that being said, I am a very hard core Eragon/ Christopher Paolini fan. *owning two copies of both books, one regular, one special XD* and honestly, I didn't expect much of the movie, but I had to watch it, much like how I watch the terrible Harry Potter movies- which- to credit, are getting better.

So, day it comes out! OMG ERAGON MOVIE!!! WHO~! Despite the movie starting late, it started out well. The scene with Ayra, the Shade ect. It was all good. The part with Eragon in the Spine was a little iffy, and Saphira's egg looked like... um.. well it was a pretty color, but a little more 'egg-looking' would have been nice.

Urgals aren't like how I pictured them but they do well with the whole 'big, barbaric, guys' that appearently don't know how to talk and communicate with grunts.

So, we see Brom, i loved his actor, Eragons was okay, but he had more of a pretty boy look going on if anything else. So, back to story. Everything is going alright up to the part where Saphira hatches. Yes, he gets the mark, yes Saphira is adorable, but after that, they ignore all aspects of their bonding and learning to speak telepathically.

And get this, Saphira is full-grown in about 50 seconds... AMAZING. So, when she's about the size of a small dog, Eragon takes her out to a feild and throws her into the air,
"Fly! Go on, Fly!" he shouts, the baby Saphira takes a few unsteady beats and flies not-so-gracefully out into the sky, and into the clouds! The clouds flash with lightning, striking Sahpira! oh my! she changes! her body is growing! she's the size of a cow now! but what's this? she's struck again and again and POOF. she's full-size.

...
WTF? Exactly, but that's not the end of it. She glides down to Eragon, lands and he thinks,
"omg" or something like that and Saphira is like
"IMpressed?" in his mind and hes like,
"*le gasp* you can hear my thoughts?"
"I have waited a thousand years to hear your thoughts Eragon. I am Saphira, your dragon, and you are my dragon rider."

...
WTF? I'm too lazy to rant like i did to my other frind but it was dissapointing when the reached the Varden they skipped to the battle. no learning magic, no searching memories, no sparring. Just arriving and "OMG BATTLE!"

they didnt' even do the battle correctly. Eragon fought Durza in that room with the design on the floor in the book- but no, they decided to do an in-air fight that, to it's credit, was fun to watch.

I'm getting lazy again XD but the most dissapointed of all was the ending. they completely messed it up.

Ayra was fine she's riding to her home with some Varden guards and Eragon stops her saying
"you didn't say goodbye."
"Galbatorix will want to avange this defeat."
"Will I see you again?"
"Well... time is short. Yesterday you were a farmboy, today you are a hero, tomorrow, we just might meet again."
"Then I will be waiting for that day." Says Eragon and he flies away with Saphira to the Varden.
...
um.. what happened to the 'I will come.." ? XD

oh well, i won't totally put it down, bottom line, it was fun to watch and its a good travel flick, but I don't think it's a top line movie. If you read the book I can guarantee you'll be dissapointed but I dont' think its so bad you wouldn't want to watch it.

*Brom was good in my opinon, Druza was creepy in a good way. Eragon was a pretty-boy, i didn't really like Saphira's voice, and Ayra was okay. Murta was wierd. XD*

Sea Salt Icecream
3¾ hours to make
45 min prep time
3-5 servings

Ingredients
2 Eggs
2 Cups milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 Teaspoon vanilla
1 Cup heavy whipping cream
Sea Salt (Be very very careful with this stuff!!!)
blue food coloring (optional. Makes it look pretty XD)

Step One
1. Separate the eggs (whites and yolks) into two different bowls of course.
Step Two
2. Beat the egg whites until stiff.(yes this sounds wierd.. just do it..XD)
Step Three
3. Mix the egg yolks and sugar until it is thick.
Step Four
4. Bring milk slowly to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. (make sure you watch it!
Step Five
5. Pour the hot milk into yolk/sugar mixture and mix well.
Step Six
6. Pour milk/yolk/sugar mixture back into pot and heat on medium until thicker to make a custard (DON'T LET IT BOIL FOR THE LOVE OF AXEL FANS!!! XD also, if you can't get it to a custard thickness,just get it as thick as you can without letting it boil of course.
Step Seven
7. Pour custard in with beaten egg whites and mix well.
Step Eight
8. Add sea salt (keep adding salt until it tastes salty sweet, but don't make it so it's like 'OMG SALTY'. XD this is the fun part, cuz its different for each person.)
-_- don't eat all the mix of course...
Step Nine
9. Put mixture in fridge to cool.
Step Ten
10. Go turn on your PS2 and start KHII. start a new game on any difficulty level and watch the opening and find the candy lady's cat. By this time, it should be cool enough. once cool, add cream and vanilla.

XD XD lol that first part was optional. just wait till its cool enough and then add the cream and vanilla.

Mezame
It's the Comic with Ryo X Faitn in it, I have it all sketched out sorta, but it's an old version. The way I plan on updating is showing the old pages (from '04) and then putting the new pages (current '06 to whenever ) next to it, so we can all laugh together at how bad I used to draw.

Tanoshii no Kessho (Comic Challenge)
Okay, so a challenge given to me by a friend, there are three rules.

1. You must use a cheesy storyline (given to me by my friend)
2. I cannot take more than 40 minutes on a page (which is really short to me)
3. I can do whatever I want with the story as long as I use the cheesy storyline.
And what better way to explain my cheesy storyline by giving you the summary I had to write with my friend? XD

~ Faitn is a soon-to-be angel. He's a top student at the angel academy and he's a master in white magic, but in order to become a 'true' angel he must go through a ceremony that has been tradition for centuries. He must go to Earth as a human and fill a jar with happiness. (omg. XD) In order do to this he must 'heal' the hearts of humans, and if done sucessfully the gratitude and happiness of the human will crystalize into jewels, and one by one he must fill the jar until it is completely full.

This seems easy to him, but even if he's a top angel at the academy, he knows close to nothing about the ways of humans, so as he spends time on Earth, he realizes this mission will be far from easy. ~
So there it is! This will be updated every Friday.

1. Anything reasonable (people, animals) please be aware that I'm not too good at drawing animals and i'm better at drawing boys. XD XD
2. No Hentai, porn nudity. (no shirt is fine if it's a guy XD) ect.
3. Shonen-ai and Yaoi are fine, as long as the Yaoi doesn't conflict with rule #2
I don't mind shojo-ai but i will NOT do Yuri.
4. Please have some sort of reference. XD Don't kill me about having something too vauge. XD

5. Please do NOT ask me to draw mechinary. Or robot suits or anything that requires that kind of geometery and shape. 0_o
6. Someone already requested it, so it's fine for that ONE person. Please do NOT ask me to draw guns or excessive weapons. I suck at drawing those kinds of things. Swords and whatnot are fine. Just not projectory wepaons... daggers are fine.. they're fun to throw. XD
7. If you want me to draw one of your characters please provide some sort of reference pic.
8. If you want a specific pose, tell me. Don't get angry or dissapointed if I don't draw it how you wanted if you never told me. XD
9. Don't bother me!! I have school and other people's pics to draw, my drawing rate depends. If you see someone else's pic being drawn before yours please understand, I draw what I can when I can.
10. PICS WILL BE IN BLACK IN WHITE UNLESS I YOU AND FEEL LIKE COLORING. LOL. XD XD XD yeah, please don't pressure me, I mostly do pics in black in white with ink. If there's a specific tool you want it drawn with let me know. Currently you can only choose from:

B) Pencil sketch
C) Watercolors

11. Details vary. I realize some of my pics have some sort of degree in details (examples: Beads, folds in clothes, detailed patterns on clothing) sometimes I can draw this a lot, other times it just doesn't work. Simplicity is pretty too.
