AFK-ness and All That Good Stuff...

People are wondering where I've disappeared off to...

To tell the truth, I prefer some seclusion from the art community, not to mention that I enjoy playing games now that I have time to (Aside from running errands at home, but that's besides the point). In terms of drawing, I have stuff... Just too lazy to post them... XD;;; I'll get around to posting a few of my doodle pages soon. Just need to find them.

In-game, people wonder why I don't PvP... Well, today just happens to be a good example of why...

A player by the name of Alejandroxx (I think it's the same dude by the name of Alejandro who also called me a feminist just because I'm stronger than him and use NX to help level easier...) challenges me to a PvP while I'm waiting for one of my guild mates to take him into Connous Underground to leather hunt. He bugs me to no end and I end up PvPing him. Here's the funny part... He "forgets" to repair his bow and is complaining that my Arrow Revolver skill sucks. On top of that, he claims that he is only a 3-day old elf when he uses his Falcon Elf transformation to turn into a Falcon Justice RIGHT WHEN I'M ABOUT TO FINISH HIM OFF... Of course, transformations usually mean health recovery and stat boost.

Ok, fine...

Be that way...

I use my transformation [Paladin Champion FTW!] and start pelting him, all my Paladin passive defenses kicking in to give me more defensive boosts AND letting me attack even when taking damage (Not to mention the 1400+ stamina stat ). Then the guy continues to rant and rant and rant going off about how all Paladins suck and that I "suck compared to [his] human ... how can you just trans against a newbie elf[?]" Um... Yeah... You transformed on me right when I was about to kill you... Not to mention I let you set the rules and yet I stuck to my "No Final Hit, bombs, magic, or pet" rule... What more can you ask for? It's basically open grounds for you to use anything on me while I have my own set of rules to follow!!!

So, I kill him and go off to the Mana Tunnels to meet up with someone to help out, and all I hear is him calling me a "'tard paladin" for winning the match. Sore loser much? >>;;; So, while I'm waiting for the guy who asked for help to show up at Par, my guildmate decides to give Alejandroxx a thrashing of his own (Mind you, I screenshotted the convo and sent it to my guild mates via X-Fire). Guild mate also won, without transformation since I forced the guy to use it after 6 AM. He transformed after the match and all the kid said was like, "Wow... Even Dark Knights?" All we could do was laugh at him in voice chat.

The two of us head to Par Ruins and my officer is in Dunbarton. He says that the Alejandroxx person is there to and says the following:

"I PvP'd a 'tard champion. Used her ego bow against me and final hit. She had to transform because she was dying."

Wooooooooooooooooooooooow.........

Lying much...? Just because you lost? Get real... So... Why do I not like to PvP so much in-game randomly?

First off, I don't take random PvPs... Only do they bother me to the point where PvPing will shut them up will I do it. I mostly PvP with my friends/guild mates only, and even then, we are quite evenly matched in terms of skills and equipment.

Second, I always have my best gears on when it comes to PvPing, not to mention that I always have fully repaired items so as not to run into trouble during the match. Best gears including range/critical modified bows and Passive Defensive armors. How else do I beat those who use spirit bow weapons? >>;;;

Third, I don't use my spirit weapon. I find them extremely cheap unless the other uses it. Also, keep in mind, people think I have a spirit bow weapon when I have a spirit SWORD weapon (A claymore to be exact). The only bows I carry are range/critical rate modified bows.

Fourth, I AM NOT AN ARCHER. Just because I have Rank 1 archery does not automatically mean that I'm a full archer. I am actually a Melee/Archer Hybrid with emphasis on Melee...

Fifth, I hate whiners... You lose, you lose... That's it, no complaints.

End of ranting... Time to get stuff for dumplings.

To Print or Not To Print...?

Sort of a sidetrack entry from my globe-hopping entries...

Lately, I've been getting some requests about purchasing prints of certain images in my gallery. Now, I am skeptical about using dA's print system, but at the same time, I don't have the equipment to print out things like posters and whatnots. So, before I go about with the rash decision of opening a print account and subscribing so that dA can handle the sales and printing of the larger items, I need to know if there are going to be a good amount of buyers, and what sorts of things you would like to see that would be considered your taste to purchase (AKA: Certain characters, certain ideas, or even original works [which are few]).

So, comment away, as well as the price range you would be willing to pay.

JP & TW - Day 16 (Part II) thru Day 18 (Part I

Remember how I said it was really muggy and humid that it made the feathers sticky and whatnot? Well, forget about muggy and warm. Now it's WET and warm... *Shudders* Currently, it is Taiwan monsoon season, which means lots of heavy rainfall.

Well Day 16's second part of the day was pretty fun. Went clothes shopping a bit for something a bit more accustomed to the weather (All my clothes are heavy shirts, so Aunty thought it was better to buy some lighter clothes to wear for the rest of the trip).

Day 18 was fun, but also the start of the rain. Morning we went sight-seeing at one of the Royal Palaces, which was turned into a museum and houses tons of artifacts from Taiwan's past. The art is just... Oo ...I don't know how to describe it... x.x It has this ethereal feeling that you can sense when you just look at it. And just the amount of history all in one place about one civilization... x.x;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

After that, we went to have lunch since Di-di was complaining that he was hungry... We went towards the mountains and stopped at a rather large indoor fishing area. We had our lunch, then Ji-Dian brought us a set of fishing poles and chicken liver. He took us to the water and fixed bait on to the hooks, and we went fishing. When it bit, it was a freshwater shrimp! Whee!!! The 7 of us caught a total of 36 shrimps, which was awesome! XD

AKA: JP & TW - Day 10 thru Day 16

Ok, so you guys are probably wondering what happened these pastÂ 6 days As for the title of this entry, you'll understand it later on, unless you're one of those who are from RE or named Kalos...

First off, Day 10 was out driving around. Went to take some time to view the sights and get used to the place. He told us about getting ready to plan a few things for us to do. Little did we know it was going to be quite a bit the next few days.

Day 11 started the fun. Ji-Dan Soo-Soo decided to take us bike riding in the morning along one of the coasts in the northwestern region. It wasnÂt too hot, which was good, but did it feel good to be on a bike again!!! Before the ride, we went to an archeological museum, which is pretty fun. Talked mostly about the Taiwanese ancients, but it was pretty cool, sort of like our science discovery center back at home. Then we had some ice cream afterwards since it was pretty warm still despite the cool down compared to being in the city: taro and I think peanutÂ? Not too sure, but I think it was peanutÂ _O: Then we went bike riding, which was really nice. Biked a total of about 4 km, which isnÂt too bad considering how long I havenÂt biked forÂ

Day 12 we went to the Taiwan 101, the tallest building in the world thatÂs able to be occupied. We also saw the mass dampener, which looks pretty awesome; around 40+ iron plates make up the dampener, also painted gold for effectÂ XP After that, they dragged us to a night market, which isÂ a lot of foodÂ and very livelyÂ X.x For one, if you guys come to these sorts of places in Taiwan, make sure to go with an empty stomach and plenty of cash. You will literally have your entire meal on just one side of the street, then wait another hour before you go on the other side of the street to eat some more, then wait again for more food down the adjoining street, and etc, etc, etcÂ o.x Seriously, in one night, you canÂt even eat all of thisÂ YouÂd have to take about two or three nights to go through every stallÂ >>;;;

Day 13 was heading to Keelung, to our Jo-JoÂs place (MomÂs bro). Her hometown is more towards the rural setting: plenty of wild land and lots of humidity. For sure, if you are deathly afraid of getting bitten by mosquitoes, bring lots of repellantÂ >>;;; There are tons of them here, and are quiteÂ dangerous when bittenÂ They itch like they burnÂ x.x;;; Also met my nephew, though we dubbed him the English name of ÂReysonÂ as a play off his Chinese name. Apparently, this kidÂs too smart for his own good at times (Even though he has been in abacus competitions every year and brings back a trophy. HeÂs shooting for first place this year, which will be his first one but also his 10th trophy). He loves to play around, especially with Puma (HeÂs about the equivalent of 4th grade, so that should give you an idea of what this kidÂs like). HeÂs also learning English, so weÂve been teaching him while we were staying there.

Day 14 was Jo-Jo taking us to the beach area. ThereÂs also a geopark here, where we went hiking for a bit. If we knew it was going to be that big of a hike, we would have brought a lot of water. There is also tons of what is literally translated as Âsea cockroachesÂ because of the way they skitterÂ x.x Creepy things since they swarmÂ DX Then we took a stroll along the seaside markets and went to see momÂs old home and high school, which look nice. Then later than evening, we went to another night market, which is actually bigger than the one that Ji-Dan took us toÂ Oo After like 5 stalls, we were stuffedÂ I swear, I mustÂve gained at least 2 kilos or so from that aloneÂ x.x Chicken hearts, pig intestine rice noodle soup, shaved ice, corn milk ice cream, sugar syrup dipped tomatoesÂ x.x The list just goes onÂ DX

Day 15 was more business stuff, so nothing happened too much. Oh! Then we decided to head to a restaurant to eat. Unfortunately, Jo-JoÂs friends came along too (They just appeared out of nowhere basically) and sat with us to eat. It got pretty interesting since these friends were also heads of their own businesses as well as having connections. Jo-Jo then told us that if we were ever in Taiwan and needed some help, we could also call these guys since he said we were to consider them our uncles too. And here I thought having connections in the States was enoughÂ oO They also went through 15 bottles of beer (He also made me drink a bit since IÂm over 21,...

Day 5 Â June 2, 2009

MmmÂ Yummy Kobe Beef from last nightÂ Whee!!! It was really good, not to mention pricy as heckÂ Â Anyway, from Osaka, we headed towards Nara, where we went to Nara Park to see Todaiji and the Nara Daibutsu. It is here when we saw the great Osaka Castle. An 8-floor building (though the 6th floor is non-existent for some reason), the tour starts at the very top and winds its way down. A definite must-see for those who love Japanese history.

Day 6 Â June 3, 2009

Lots of walking today, which sort of takes the purpose out of the hot bath we had the night before, no? Then again, we traveled to quite a few temples today. IÂll have to get back to this one later.

Day 7 Â June 4, 2009

Trains are fun to ride, especially the old traditional ones. The Sagano Scenic Railway is definitely a must-go when it comes to enjoying nature the old-fashioned way. Why? Because youÂre riding these older trams while taking in a beautiful mountain view. It is also nicknamed the ÂRomantic Train,Â which does live up to its name if you think about it. A relaxing ride through the mountains in an open-air cart, enjoying a cup of coffee, or even a bottle of iced tea with a tiny bag of sweets, and your sweetie sitting next to youÂ YeahÂ Ro-man-tic, no?

MmmÂ When King Midas wished for the ability turn things into gold with just a touch, I think the Golden Pavilion comes to mind. Our final stop for the Japanese part of my travels, this historical shrine is made of Japanese cedar with gold leaf pasted to the roof and the upper floors of the shrine. This is literally one of JapanÂs greatest historical treasures. A beautiful building, it overlooks a pond filled with koi and tiny islands with neatly trimmed Japanese yews. Around this preserve are also several other shrines. Oddly, there is also a small overlook with water trickling down, or a tiny waterfall if there is enough water, that princesses used to use to commit suicide if they do not find the prince they are to wed pleasing. ItÂs a bit scary, but itÂs the truth when it came to the aristocracy back then.

Day 8 Â June 5, 2009

Tour ended, and we headed to the airport at 0730h with a 0530h wakeup call. Thank goodness that it started to rain that day as opposed to during the tour. Flight was at 1030h, and arrived at 1430h local time. From there, we took the local shuttle to another airport, where we were picked up by my aunt, and stayed at her place. Ji-Dian (Or Ji-Dan [Chicken Egg], as I call him) dropped by, as well as one of my other uncles (Never met him before…. Grandma was here too, but then the whole Âshe looks like this daughterÂ game took place for like 2 hours (By then, I was starting to get really tired). Went to bed with the four of us sharing one room.

Day 9 Â June 6, 2009

Xiao Di (Actually my cousin but I always call him Âlittle brotherÂ since heÂs younger than me ) took us to go shopping [Mom needs a new suitcase since one of the hotel clerks at the Bikowa accidentally broke the internal shell when he dropped the case. Thankfully, none of the wines were broken]. Went to buy some fruits and drinks at the local Coscos (Yes, they have one here tooÂ XP), then Xiao Di took us to lunch at this really funked out placeÂ oO;;; ItÂs like a giant brown concrete octopus draped over the building and then the inside, itÂs like someone took a concrete truck full of brown cement and threw a bomb inside, letting it explode and harden. Weird, huh? Not to mention that this restaurant is 4 floors with a pond in the center bottom floor. Again, weird but awesome.

My third sister is coming to visit later tonight (SheÂs pregnant with her fourth child now, a girl this timeÂ =3), so that will be fun. The second sister is coming in Monday since she canÂt seem to get her schedule to fit with our schedule. As for the first sisterÂ BlehÂ Not even gonna think about her. Anyways, hope things are going well!

Just a slight side note: Not every night will I get Net access at the hotel we are staying at, so it might be about a day or two before the next journal is posted. Reason: It's public and all my things are on the laptop, or I need to pay (850 Yen [about $8.50]) for 6 hours... So, yeah... If I don't reply that night, then I'll be posting it ASAP when I can find the next port I can hook up at. So, what do I have to talk about this time, even though I'm tired? Let's see... Oh yeah, these are pre-written, as will be stated in one of the entries.

Day 2 - May 30, 2009

Picking up from Narita, Japan, we headed for Tokyo, or at least near the vicinityÂ I thinkÂ First stop, one of the surviving Imperial Palaces from the Meiji period. Sadly, I was bummed that we couldnÂt go inside, nor could we see the other two structures in the preserve. They are beautifully crafted on the outside, and I can only imagine them to be far more so on the inside. If only, huh? AlasÂ There were security guards at every entryway of the castle bridge, where they restrict people from passing with waist-high iron barriers, and have two more security guards posted at the main doorway. Talk about guarding a palaceÂ oO;;; Lunch was near another shrine, a very big one (Name escapes me at the moment since IÂm writing this in the bus), and we had sashimi! Some of you know that I love raw fish, but if anything, I canÂt bring myself to eat scallops at times. Unfortunately, this one had raw scallops on the menu. Lupina kept making fun of me since she knew I would have trouble stomaching it, but I managed to swallow it down. In actuality, it isnÂt all that bad. As a matter of fact, it was rather sweet, as well as the other fish (Hamachi [Yellowtail], Ahi [Tuna], and Red Snapper, which I forget the Japanese nameÂ x.x). Of course, this means that the fish are super fresh

Next stop was towards the inner city of Tokyo, where all the life is. For the most part, itÂs more modern things than the historical artifacts. Lots of stores that would be considered high-classes places, like Coach, Burberry, Swarovski, etcÂ Then on the other side, you have the stores geared towards the generation, so things that are similar to Hot Topic, ClaireÂs, and of course, Sanrio (Hello Kitty and her friendsÂ You know you love them, ! ). We eventually made it to a Meiji Shrine, a 42-acre preserve of an original shrine from that era, as well as several barrels of wine from France and several caskets of sake [Japanese wine], all of which are from the Meiji Restoration and are said to have not been opened. Must be worth several millions, if not billions, if those still have those good wines and sake (Then again, I canÂt have sake since it seems I get pretty violent, but thatÂs a story for another day).

After that, we ended up at Shinjuku, the fashion area of Tokyo. Lots of places to see here, especially if youÂre into games since thereÂs a shop in this area that sells nothing but all the latest games and gaming accessories for all consoles, including accessories that have not yet been introduced [or probably never will] in the Japanese market. Oddly, I always thought that Japanese DS games were compatible with US DS systems, but I guess notÂ >>;;;

Day 3 - May 31, 2009

Talk about a wake up call. Something stirred me up, and I was sitting at my comp at 3 AM, enough for Tynave to catch me on X-Fire (I think it was around 11 AM for her by the time she went, ÂOMG! ItÂs Fal!Â

After checking email and stuff, as well as ranting, we had breakfast and left Tokyo for the mountains. Actually, as youÂre reading this, I am on the bus, half listening and half typing. The scene is beautiful here, even when the sky is a bit cloudy. Lots of trees, thatÂs for sure, and tons of rice paddies in certain areas (and here people were thinking that I was gonna starve when I traveled to JapanÂ For shame!).

Even though itÂs only been the third day, I can see how many anime and games get their inspirations. Looking at the docks that we passed by from Narita to Tokyo, I can understand how they created Port TownÂs environment, as well as Mute City, which is filled with tall buildings and winding passes found in the inner cities of Tokyo. Then thereÂs Haiyo MayazakiÂs fi...

First off, my MOST SINCERE apologies for not posting last night. Jet lag was one thing, and the other was that the Internet at the place I stayed at was not free... Thus, had to wait until now to post it. So, for those of you who are impatient, grow up... I'm in a completely foreign place and time zone (NO PUN INTENDED)

Anyways... Here's what happened yesterday. I might be updating tomorrow with today's things, but it depends on what happens tonight... x.x

ÂOhaiyo!Â from the land of the Rising Sun, otherwise known as Japan!

You guys are probably wondering what IÂm doing all the way on the other side of the world. To tell the truth, my mom decided that it was time that I did take a break from school (Not to mention that IÂm forced to take a one-year break from UCSD, but thatÂs for another time, unless I already mentioned it in another journal entry… and since she wanted to head back to Taiwan to see her brother (My ÂJojoÂ, or uncle), she also decided to make an 8-day stop in Japan as a way to take a break and just relax (Yes, CuronÂ IÂm finally taking that break youÂve been egging me on year after yearÂ Looks like my health got the best of me to finally take one, huh? A bit long, but long over due, no?).

So, we left the house at around 0930h and arrived at the airport at around 1100h. However, check-in was a bit of a hassle, which meant some delays. Fortunately, we were moved to another line for the Travel Security Agency [TSA] check-in line (You know how big of a pain it is nowadays to go overseas or better yet, even to the border into Mexico and Canada?). ItÂs a bit worse in Japan since theyÂre all uptight about the N1H1 virus too (DonÂt worry, weÂre on the safe side since the cases the Japanese have are limited to smaller areas that we wonÂt be going to), but other than that, I managed to get into Japan with Silverwing in tow, as well as an 80-gig pocket drive I have nicknamed ÂNea-NeaÂ (Kudos to whoever knows that nameÂ XD).

Arrived in Japan around 1600h Tokyo time (Around 2 AM or so for you guys back in the States), and weather isnÂt looking too good already. We left LA on the note that it was cloudy and cold. Here in Narita, Japan, itÂs also cloudy, but itÂs also humid, which means my feathers arenÂt going to be happyÂ x.x;;; Oh wellÂ WeÂll see how the next day goesÂ

Oh yeah, since I know some of my Mabi friends are also reading this... Speaking of which, if you do have my cellphone number...

Taking A Break...

I'm taking a one-year break from UCSD and heading home to study for a bit. Several reasions, but mostly due to health. Hopefully, this will also give me some time to do some pieces that I REALLY want to work on.

But of course, this means several things, including lack of high-speed connection. I'll check in time to time, but don't expect too much until I get back.

Hmm... Maybe I can finally start that comic idea I had...

First off...

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! HALO WARS IS AWESOME!!!

Already have 4+ hours clocked on it... The controls actually isn't that bad after you run through the tutorial once or twice. Granted you can't click on the mini-map for instant look at that site and the objectives may be a bit weird at first (As well as hidden achievements), but overall, the way they portray pre-Halo events in correspondence to the books as well as already established history is really well done. Definitely worth a spin if you're a big Age of Empires fan, or an RTS fan for that case.

Oh yeah, it's fun when you play as the Sergeant in skirmish... XD;;; A COMPLETE Brute, literally. I love the Grizzlies and Cyclopes you can make when you play as him. Just raw power once you get those upgrades going. If you want more aerial, go with the Doctor. Her Hawks will tear things up that the Vultures manage to miss (Not that they do, but you have the occasional stragglers...) And if you want a jump in the game, go with the admiral/captain. He'll already have the base upgraded once... I think...

I still have yet to play the Covenant leaders, but I think that'll happen once Puma can play with me... lol...

Just a rant in poem form since I have lack of better things to do... It's annoying that I can't seem to get things done right, especially in my relationship lately. Some times I wonder if it is my vengeful side that is manifesting itself more and more as of late...

Sort of explains a few of the moods I've been in, but at the same time, being the leader of a rather highly active guild with high-powered players doesn't really help...

Maybe I need some down time from everything and take a break to recollect myself... You know, quit some games for a while, take a break from school...

Dammit all... I think I'm starting to become depressed... -.-;;;

Mmm... Would put the image, but I guess it's only for subscribers? Oh well... This still works...

So, after a long while Nexon/DevCAT decides to release Mabinogi Generation 4 - Explorers of Iria. Really, I think Nexon's waited a bit too long to get it out, but then again, it is a Generation Patch as opposed to a Season Patch or Regular Maintenance... So, could be that they were fixing things here and there before finally releasing, but I do have to wonder why companies, especially game companies, have to make it such a teaser. I mean, a lot of people will get all hyped up, only to be disappointed when they don't find what they want.

I'll admit that I've been looking forward to this expansion for quite a bit since I've seen videos from the Korean and other overseas servers (I'm actually hoping that they will get up to about Generation 7 or 8 before summer starts). It's not only because it's a new place, it's also so that I am able to get away from the "nubness" of some players, you know, the beggers and the bots especially, which have been increasing lately, IMO... The terrors of MMORPGs, you know? Oh well...

As for Iria itself, can't wait to see what they have in store and just experience the sheer difficulty the place has to offer...

It seems that I have been in a terrible art slump lately, and I am hoping what I am about to request will benefit me. Firstly, this was seen on 's journal, so I might as well also take a stab at it and see how it goes.

So, to pull me out of this dreaded art slump (seriously, I can't even doodle in my notes anymore...), I am gonna open a set of 5 requests for anyone to call, first come first serve, which means the first 5 to reply. HOWEVER, there is one catch. If you do want me to do this sketch, you will also need to do this sort of thing on your own page. If you don't, then bye-bye goes your request. So, rules so that you guys know what I'm looking for...

No backgrounds, unless you just want a pattern or something super simple, or I already have it pre-made from another project.

So, classes started for me today, and things are looking a bit ikky at the moment, and by this I mean the two heavy courses I'm taking this quarter: CSE 30 (Yes, round 3) and Physics 2A. Not a very fun combination, is it? The other course is Vis 22, which is pretty awesome with the professor who's from the British area. He's really funny and knows how to hold attention for 80 minutes. Now I am just dreading CSE 30. Programming, programming, and more programming... Oh yeah, the Freshmen girls are literally sticks this time around and sound like they've ingested a tank of helium and a gallon of pure caffeine... Scary, isn't it? oO

Anyways, art-wise, nothing new since I've been pelting myself with summer courses and balancing my sanity (Or what's left/lack there of) with games, but I'll get some stuff up soon, hopefully... PROJECT AGATE is still on my list, and I've been doing things on and off now and then. Seems that some of these creatures that I am thinking about refuse to appear on paper. I'll see how to coax them out.

Game-wise, still playing that MMO by Nexon, Mabinogi, and it's really interesting now that Generation 3 Season 2 is out. Some new pets and a new pet battling system. Makes a lot of us remember the days of the older Pokemon generations... Seriously though, if you want a decent MMO without the trouble of paying just to enjoy the basics of the game, Mabinogi's probably a good one to test on. No need to pay to just level and play, you know? If you guys want to find me, I'm on the Ruairi server, usually on Channel 2 (Each server is split into 5 channels, but you can jump between channels). Character names are Falcondae (Main) and Lestrade (Secondary), but some times I will be on my pets, in which case, I will almost always be near the beginner town of Tir Chonaill or in one of the two nearby dungeons, Alby or Ciar.

In terms of stories, I SERIOUSLY need to get back to those... >>;;;; I have like 10 stories that are now shelved for work on in the far future. Not a good thing, yet also not a bad thing, but right now, I really need to jump on those...

Aroo... Time to go back to my oddly usual way of life... -.-;;;

...the falcon can rest...

So, what has this huntress been doing these past couple weeks other than disappearing without much warning (Then again, that's rather normal for me... )...?

Well, for starters, had my finals, though I don't think I did too hot on two of them... X_x;;; I just hope that I passed them though. Those two finals were killers... DX

Second, back on the Pokemon Agate project. Currently, the Pokedex is filling up quite nicely, but that means lots of artwork for me to do. Due to the nature of their 'informal-ness', they will not be posted here, but rather on my SheezyART account. Why? Because for some reason, they way I did them doesn't fit with the rest of my gallery here, and I don't feel like making another account for Agate stuff alone. Maybe in the future, but not now when I'm still working on the concepts.

Third, having too much fun with the Wii since Pika-Mama got us a bunch of new stuff, and I bought a few things of my own... Working on Brawl a bit in terms of trophies. Damn! It too forever for me to get Spire's trophy to finish off the Metroid Prime Hunters set. I ended up with like 10 of Sylux and who knows how many of Noxus... And it looks like I don't do too well as Falcon, but I 'wn' with Pikachu, just like I did back in the original Smash Bros for the N64!!! I love the cute-fuzzy-yellow-electrical-mouse-of-doom!!! We usually play with Smash Orbs on, just for fun of course. It's funny trying to see the CPs go after them though. Subspace is probably my only source for trophies now. We'll see what happens from here. Oh yeah, if you guys want a really fun time with your friends that doesn't involve Brawl or anything that complex and want to keep it on the Wii, try the multiplayer mode in Bomberman Land. I swear, my sisters and I had so much fun in that game, trying to blow each other, and the CPs, up... Heeheehee... So yeah, try it out if you need a very simple game to just bash your friends with.

Fourth, heading to Comic-Con again this year, so hopefully I'll see some of you guys there? My sister, Lupina, will also be tagging along since she will also be in San Diego for a summer program at UCSD. Hopefully I'll be able to bring the car down with me...

Fifth... Uh... I dunno, new Pokeballs down below? The previous one opened last night/today and ended up being two Pokemon that were least likely to be called: Frolass from the Pink Pokeball and Rotom from the Blue Pokeball. Interesting, huh? I'm starting to wonder if that Gold Pokeball is a Pikachu, because I would bring a bunch of them into my collection if I could...

Anyways, hope you guys are having a good time this summer. Things are a bit relaxing on my end, maybe a bit weird time to time, but for the most part, chilling out, catching up on games and drawings, and just having fun in general.

WTF?! So, right now, I'm using my printer (Heaven forbid that the ink runs out since that is a NEW $55 cartridge...) with a rasterizing setting. Hopefully, these come out really good... -_-;;;

Oh, you know what else? They even refused to print out Death's Beauty for me, saying that I needed a signature release. I'm like, "WTF?! It's my own image!!! It's my own artwork!" I show them my gallery, and they were like, "For all we know, you could have ripped it off DeviantART and wanted to print it out." I barely convinced them enough to print out my EDS130 project just BECAUSE I had my drawn image of Umbreon, Salamence, and Mew in there, along with Arabian Jessie... Yeesh... Is it that freaking hard to tell a concept released by the official source and one that is CLEARLY fanart?! I mean, sure my Pokemon drawings are pretty convincing, but dammit all!!! They are my pieces and mine alone despite them being FANARTS...

Next time, I'm going to save a TON of money and buy my own deluxe printing station, the ones that print anything from the small 8 x 11 to the super poster sizes...

Really, Kinkos, I go to you with a SIMPLE print job, and you basically told me to f*** off... Such retards... Do NOT go to them for your printing needs... Go somewhere else...

Sorry I haven't posted much, but it's due to school and stuff. It's bad enough that my art TA is forcing us to create images with a minimum of 24" x 36", which is beyond my normal range (Photoshop is a different story since I have stuff clocking over 50".

So, the artist for Pokeplushies actually goes to the same school as I do (I found out I think earlier this week) and she's (Quetzal on the forums/site). So far, I find this site really interesting, and quite a bit better in terms of passing time in class/lecture than Facebook. I'll go on Gaia Online some times, but not as often since they take a bit too much interaction that sort of will make it obvious that you're not paying attention. Pokeplushies is certainly interesting since I love the dinos they have there... XD

left on my page was a joke, but after hunting it down, it is no joke... Apparently, the Blue Falcon is unlockable in the 150 cc Lightning Cup (Which I'm not surprised since 150 cc is the highest difficulty, not to mention that there is the Lightning Course starting from F-Zero GX/AX). So, what kart to use when I get the game?

Actually, I'm not so sure. With the Blue Falcon now classed as a light instead of a medium, I'm not too sure if the handling will be the same as it was in the original series. Kart racing is different compared to F-Zero racing... Oo;;;

I might still stick with Mario for a bit until I feel more comfortable that I'll go ahead and change to the Blue Falcon, but no guarantee that I'm gonna stick with it. Oh well... It'll be quite fun once we get it. Hehehe...

It is going to be one rough quarter for me. I have about 18 units/credits, six of which deals with mentoring. The others are split between VIS 1 (2D Art), CSE20 (Round three of Discreet Mathematics), and MATH 20D (Dreaded differentials). Sounds evil, isn't it? Especially with the two math classes

I remember it was drawing one of his characters... a female one to be exact), then start the re-sketching of Draco's first request.

Remember my one week of complete stress and other crap that was thrown at me and resulted in a huge burnout and rant that seemed I was in emotional despair to the point of complete meltdown in my previous journal?

Well, despite what had happened...

I PASSED all my classes for winter quarter (Except for CSE 20 since I dropped it; had a really bad teacher and I was too divided in terms of attention and focused mostly on Math 20C)

Went back home Saturday morning and we did nothing but play Super Smash Bros. Brawl all day long, unlocking at least the characters obtainable through the first round of Subspace Emissary, so yes, I went Brawling with Captain Falcon I'll admit, they slowed him down, but he's still as deadly as ever. However, Pikachu... Damn, that is one super deadly electrical mouse!!! She's (Yeah, I call mine a girl since the ones I catch in game are mostly girls... ) just as powerful with that Thunder attack, not to mention her smash down + A attack. And good ol' Marth... Haha... He's still the same pretty boy as ever! Oh yeah, Zero Suit Samus looks really pretty, especially if you get her All-Star Trophy... So pretty and shiny... So, most of the week was spent unlocking things, and so far, we have about 75% of the achievements opened, and all the characters. Trophy count is up... 300. As for sticker count... 400...? Yeah, I think that's about right. Anyone have all the trophies yet, because I want to know which ones the F-Zero series has in there. I was sort of guessing that they would bring in all the characters (That's 40+) or something like that. And does Falcon and Goroh have an alternate trophy with their vehicles like Jody, Stewart, and the others...?

Anyways, this quarter, I will be taking Math 20D this quarter, along with CSE 20 again with a better, more lax teacher, VIS 1, which is a class on 2D art, and a 6-unit mentoring course that requires field work. That's a grand total of 18 units this quarter, so I'll be pretty busy, but that doesn't really matter too much since I love to mentor younger students, VIS 1 will be a breeze, and Math 20D I have two other people taking it with me.

As for CSE 20, I have about 5 friends who already took that class, and with an easier teacher, LET'S ROCK IT!!!

Oh yeah, with my current schedule, it seems like I am also able to fit in some exercise time, so I should be a bit healthier this quarter since I'm also doing some bike riding, if the weather permits.

Hmm...
So, I've had some full-colored images put up these past few times, mostly entailing the scenes in Corruption: The Aftermath. Why this particular story? I dunno... Something about it really intrigues me, and it is sort of the small fountain of inspiration since Silverwing crashed... So, yeah... So far, things haven't gotten too hot, but there is some activity as the ships are nearing the area. Why so long? Well, with more than six people participating, along with life to worry about, it tends to be sporadic instead of going at a regular pace. I have several images in sketching for this story, but it might take a while before they bloom completely. As you can see from "Flash Bang Escape" (Seen Below), I'm still working on lighting and dynamic poses. So it might be a while before I get things to look perfect...

Ok... So I've been in an art slump in terms of turning out completely finished pieces. If you haven't noticed, most of my submissions have been nothing but scraps or doodles that mean almost nothing and took almost no time to finish...

Alas, my poor muse... Why did you have to disappear when my external crashed... I need you for inspiration... T_T

Been doing a lot of Chozo pictures since there aren't that many on the net anyways. Stupid Nintendo not having their artist release some of their images, or at least high resolution variants of them. I mean, c'mon! There are those who need references, and it's not fun trying to make things up as you go!!!

Got all the current novels for Jojo's Bizarre Adventures from the Shonen Jump Advanced collection, as well as scanlations of the two previous arcs (The one with Jonathan in the first arc where it all began, and the second arc with Joseph battling against some other weird vampire in Meso America) and the two or three arcs following (One in Italy and the other in Florida?), which are a bit more sloppy, but interesting regardless.

I'm gonna try to continue some of my Corruption: The Aftermath images when I can. I have about 15 ideas piled up, about 5 of them sketched as frames, the rest still roaming in my very cluttered and dark mind (I say dark because I haven't been myself lately...). There's one that's still in the air, but I have the pose reference for it, so we'll see how that goes. This is gonna be my first time working on a very large action scene instead of my usual photo still-style, so I hope it'll come out ok. If anyone can help me critique this particular piece while in the process, that would be GREATLY appreciated (Maybe do something in return for helping me out).

Ok, enough of me ranting... Waiting for my next class to start in half an hour, haven't eaten anything significant enough to keep me for an hour, not to mention that I have a CSE20 quiz at 3 PM, and I have a late class (Though Wednesday is the worst since that day I have classes from 8 AM ~ 9 PM...) until 6 PM. I think that's enough to put me into a bad mood, no?

Second, house is in a slight mess due to Pika-Mama being weary from age, and my sisters a little too busy with their works and studies to help keep the house clean. So, I'm sort of doing some cleaning while I'm here. At least I got my storage boxes out of the living room and made space for the two DDR pads for both the Wii (Hottest Party) and the PS2 (Max) versions. That, and I have room to move around in when playing Corruption at "full-scale."

Good thing is that I have about 85% of my files recovered, so that means that the cost for recovering from Silverwing will drop significantly. At least now, I'm having Silverwing 2.0 being prepped, this time with shock insulation and a very rugged casing... At least this time, I'll be a bit more careful...

What else... Looks like other things I'll have to cover when I have time. Sisters (Puma and Lupina) are dragging me to watch them play DDR: Hottest Party. I do have a somewhat of a Christmas picture ready, unless you guys prefer my cute chibi Christmas pictures, which includes our favorite half-dragon and a certain little stand... :giggles:

> I don't know what happened, but all I know is that I had put it on to my system to defrag and left for dinner. Unfortunately, when I came back, the drive stopped running.

Earlier today, I took it to ACS to have them look at it. From their diagnostic, something happened with the power cord and they found an alternate one. We plugged that in to make sure the files were intact, however, the system did not recognize it... >_<;;;

So, I went to buy a 500 GB internal to replace the one inside the casing and took the drive to this one local data recovery place to see if I could have it fixed. Unfortunately, he said that due to the nature of the damage, I would have to find another service to have it recovered. So I called this one company he suggested to give me an estimate, which was around $3200 if they managed to get the WHOLE drive...

I flat out turned it down and went hunting for another one. After telling them my plight, as well as that I was a computer science student not willing to pay more than $1700, the highest price they are going to charge is $1500, with the least being $500. Now, thing is that I have some of the data backed up and scattered in various places, meaning that the price will significantly drop if I manage to only pinpoint my most important ones, mostly entailing my images as I don't have these back up in other places, save my older PSDs that were created before the start of this school year. Also my video files that I spent a lot of time on to work on. Music is fine since Puma's pilfering actually helped quite a bit. She has at least 80% of my music, so I don't have to worry about it too much. Also need to get my word documents back since ALL my fanfics and stories, as well as RP sessions, are all in there... >>;;; Oh yeah, did I also mention that I have tons of applications that need to be recovered...? X_x;;;

I'll have to find my backup CDs and see if I have it backed up there. The more I have already saved, the less I have to pay for recovery... Hopefully, those whom I have sent files to, you guys can manage to send them back to me so that I can recover my database...? X_x

If there is any time that my youngest sister the most helpful, it is now. At least 75% of my data has been restored, so whee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, anything after August was not in there since she did not take those... So... >_<;;; At least now I don't think I'll have to pay anything more than $1000 for data recovery... Hopefully, only about $500...? ;;

Pet Peeves... [Rant]

There are some things that just take a while before they hit me, while other hit me instantly...

For one, I HATE being bugged when I have away messages up... Only a few know that they are allowed to IM me when I'm busy, but the majority doesn't seem to think the rule of "No Bother" applies to them, even if my XFire says (AFK). This is the reason why I am mostly in hiding on MSN and AIM.

I don't like it when people take forever to reply to me via PMs. I usually give about a day or two, but past three days is no reason to give me a reason as to why there was no reply, especially since I had free time and people are usually trying to find me during my extremely busy times. I don't care if you're lethargic, uninspired, or just plain lazy!!! For all I care, just send me a note or something as to why you aren't present (AND LAZY DOES NOT COUNT!!! )!!!

Another thing... If people start prodding me for things especially during my busy times, chances are that I will ignore you, as well as probably hold it against you for a few good months, which is not a good thing, especially if you've seen me during my 'Black Phoenix' moods. When I hold a grudge of some sort, I tend to hold it for a long while...

One final thing...

I hate being bothered... I hate being interrupted... I hate when people disturb my times of meditation... I hate it when people think they are way better than others and have giant egos...

I mean, I'll be fine as long as you don't step into my territory with hostile intent. Doing so will only lead to much trouble and pain to both parties...

Home this friday evening for winter break. Hell, I need it after what happened this quarter. This is probably the worst one next to my freshman year... Oy... Some of you may not know this, but I just found out about this today while messing with some programs...

Those who know about remixing will have the famed Reuben Kee come to mind, especially piano and oriental remixes.

Well, the music man died Nov. 26 due to a boating accident...

Five missing Singapore rowers feared dead

When the search for the five missing dragon boat racers in Cambodia resumes this morning, chances of finding them alive appear to be bleak.

It would have been about 40 hours since the boat carrying 22 Singapore dragon boat racers capsized in the river on Friday.

Singapore naval divers will be using sonar equipment to comb the Tonle Sap River near the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, together with local rescue workers.

According to eyewitnesses, survivors and race officials, the Singapore team was making its way back to the starting point, after the race, when the tragedy occurred.

Instead of waiting for a boat to tow them back, the team had decided to row towards shore themselves.

When they were close to shore, a wave hit them, causing the boat to collide with a pontoon and overturn. Team members were sucked under the pontoon. Seventeen racers surfaced and five did not.

The missing racers are: Jeremy Goh, 24; Stephen Low, 31; Reuben Kee, 23; Poh Boon San, 27 and Chee Wei Cheng, 20.

It is believed that a combination of strong currents and fatigue after the race could play a part in the likely drowning of the five men. They could also have been knocked unconscious when the 500kg boat capsized in the 9m-deep water.

The racers were not wearing life jackets.

One survivor who declined to be named said the team panicked under water and the current was pushing them down, so they all kicked their way upwards. He was treated for bruises on his face.

Eyewitness Joey Paraiso said on television last night that the current was strong. "It happened so quickly. The Singaporean rowers, one by one, floated and saved themselves. There were some railings that they were able to hold on to.

"They were not able to swim normally, so they just looked for something to hang on to... The current was a bit strong," he said.

The race was held to celebrate Cambodia's Water Festival, which takes place each year at full moon to celebrate the changing of the Tonle Sap River course.

GAH!!!! I HATE IT!!! I HATE IT WHEN I GET SICK, AND ON TOP OF THAT, I'M ON ACADEMIC PROBABTION!!! DAMMIT ALL!!!

Maybe I should finally listen to those advices and take a break or something... Should get away from school and stuff for a while... Maybe hightail it out of country for a bit... Then again, there is always the thought of just traveling the states on my own... Gah... Need to speak with Academic Advising and see what I can do. This really sucks ass...

Lately, I've been in moods of all sorts... I don't know why, but I just have been... Since I my first visit to the ER Mothers' Day 2007, things have been spiraling downhill, and tacked on top of that, the San Diego firestorms, and two more ER visits this quarter... Not to mention that the concept of Metroid Prime III: Corruption has also somehow left its mark on me (If you don't get this, I will say this: Wow... Just look at my art and I think you'll see it...). And now, a rant since I need to get this off my chest before someone else loses their head...

So yeah... Been snappy at some of the members, in particular the staff on Reality's Exile. I dunno... I mean, I can be lenient at times, but when it comes to stuff that irks me graphically, it's one of those "You better change it within 5 minutes or else I'm gonna snipe your head and do it myself!" sort of deals...

Perhaps I'm just not 'chill' enough to let it slide, too serious?

Hell, board rules state 500 x 100 to the limit, but I've let slide up to 500 x 150, and don't say that I break board rules because my signature as a whole takes up more than 100 px tall because of the included text, because that's just bullshit... I think it's pretty generous that I let slide 50 pixels of extra height, IMO... Granted that height doesn't really matter, but for a board like this, it's just unheard of to use signature images that are 200 tall... It just looks really tacky and doesn't help with the aesthetics of the way the board was designed for, especially IPB forums... I've worked with these types of boards enough to know that the smaller the image sig, the better it would be in terms of design.

Maybe that's just me, but I LOATHE oversized signatures...

If I see them on any board I run or help out with, you can expect it to be gone and have the ability to have signatures disabled until you fix it and show me that you will adhere to rules... I may be generous, but don't push your luck...

You might just get your head sliced clean off...

Fixed the CSS a little more, but not by much. I'm hoping to get the banner fixed a little more, along with text colors (Trying to figure out which code goes with what... X_x) before anything is finalized and I put this up in my deviations as a downloadable for others to use.

Also, I'm heading home this afternoon for Thanksgiving, so yeah... My external drive is going with me, so all my goodies are still going to be with me while I'm away. I'll probably be playing Halo 2|Halo 3 with Puma since she's been itching for another fun run on Sandtrap, and maybe a game with (Who Puma seems to like teasing) if I can connect to XBox Live (And get a 1-month member card since mine expired back in May...), Metroid Prime III: Corruption, and maybe some co-op Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party with Lupina.

Might pop online to see what's going on, but for the most part, I'll be recovering in the comfort of my Pika-Mama...

Just testing out a few things here and there with this new CSS stuff they have on DA. I mean, I pretty much did a CSS for a messageboard, so I thought I'd try my hand it.

Using a similar Metroid Prime theme to this since I am in that sort of mood...

Wow... To whoever gave me a subscription, thank you! It certainly brightened up what started out to be a really crappy day.

Oh yeah, for you Metroid fans, Metroid-Eu's boards is up and running again, and with tons of new goodies, especially downloads for those who are helping to keep the boards alive! More than 7 hours of work on the skin, but it's worth it. Go ahead and stop by the suggestions area to drop a comment or two without the need to register. Any input is good!

Lineart for Sites and other things

So... Currently, only one site has access to my Pokemon lineart, for now the Lugia ones, though they might ask for others later. That one site is Sky Temple, run by . I've been to the site, and I will tell you that it is one of the best made I have visited. The only problem is the slow loading time, but that's been explained on their forums. At least they tell why it's slow instead of keeping their visitors in the dark.

Now, I will do requested linearts for Pokemon, but they are very time consuming. So, if you do manage to want a hi-res lineart (These clock in at near 3500 px in either direction, sometimes even OVER to 4000 px), we'll try to arrange some sort of trade or something.

Got several pieces up, two of them being revamps of older pics, and some just out of the blue because of felt like it...

Off to a busy day I go!

You know, every time I look at my list of names/aliases, it just seems to grow bigger and bigger, especially on my DeviantID... Maybe I should make a run through of the names I have from the beginning...

Yue - Yue from Cardcaptor Sakura, totally fell in love with him...
Yuen - My first female counterpart created; reflects Yue

Captain Falcon - My first F-Zero name, taken after Captain Falcon after seeing him on SSB
Lt. Jessie Jay Falcon - My second female counterpart created; reflects Falcon, as well as myself
Falcontress - The nickname given to Jessie as her racing alias; also my racing alias
Falcondae - Another nickname Jessie chose later in her life
Falconite - Another nickname Jessie was given based off her vehicle, Silver Falconite

Pokemon, Pokemon, and more Pokemon... [EDIT]

And I thought I was bad when Pokemon first began...

So, it goes like this...

I've been around for all of the Kanto and Johto Leagues, most of the Orange League, sort of came in and out of the Hoenn League, and finally picked it up again with the Sinnoh League. That's about, what, 11 ~ 12 years of Pokemon History there? XP

Anyways, speaking of Pokemon, I finally got a Manaphy from Rangers (SO CUTE!!!) and it's sitting in my Diamond, waiting to be trained. For now, I'm working on a few Lv. 50s for Pokemon Battle Revolution (I hate using the rentals...), along with correctly EV training some legendaries, namely an Adamant Zapdos and I think an Adamant Mewtwo? Oo;;; I need to check on that again...

I finally finished sketching out Emberline, Pyroline's pre-evolved form. If you need to know what Pyroline is, you can find him here: [link]

I'll see about trying to get little Emberline vectored and colored in.

I've also made another custom Pokemon currently dubbed "Hydricorn." This idea was spurred by one of my students from last year's summer program and returned this year. He said he wanted a water-type Pokemon that can either be classed as a legendary or extremely rare (Similar to that of Kangaskhan from the Red/Blue/FireRed/LeafGreen days). It has a head similar to that of a dragon with four fins protruding from the sides, two on each side. The upper limbs resemble those of the Beta (Japanese Fighting Fish) tails. It has no lower limbs, but rather has a fish tail, making its appearance reminiscence of the Zodiac "goat fish" creature Capricorn. I'll put up a scan of it when I can, but for now, I think I need a better name for it... X_x;;;

Once I get some of these customs done, I might do some custom cards for them just for fun, like my Messerangryu.

It's now 0305h and I am still awake, but hopefully, the warm milk I just downed will put me to sleep... In the meantime...

Ok, so I finally got some sleep and was awakened by the multi-tones of the various phones in the house because my mom was trying to tell me the situation of the car (We have like 5 phones in the house, so we have many different tones for them... Oy...). Currently shooting a letter to the dean of students at my sisters' high school because of a minor dress code violation (No school tag at waistline... Stupid, no?) and getting it settled. Hey, not my fault that the company does make waist sizes for those that are not super models... I swear, they never take those people into consideration, do they? *Grumbles while writing a letter of "complaint" to dean of students*

Oy...

Anyone know where I can get decent webspace for a website for free...? My current one (Not to mention the one FZA was on until the stupid company, 1asphost, decided to crap up the system) is not enough, and their method for uploads/downloads really suck.

I've already tried Angelfire and Tripod (NOT WILLING TO USE THOSE AGAIN!!!), and 1asphost has now hit the list. Reason I'm asking is because I WANT to bring back FZA, but there are no services that I don't need paying that can hold the whole site (Which is very bad). So, yeah...

Anyone got any tips...? T_T

First off, is here visiting me for the week!!! Squee!!! So much fun!!! Dragged him all over SD though, but we had fun...

For those in the Halo fan group, I have to say this...

I GOT A LIMITED EDITION HALO 3 CLIX BATTLE-DAMAGED SCARAB!!!

Actually, I was in the running for three since two of my friends also entered, and were also pulled... However, the price was a bit high ($250), so only I got it... But yeah... SQUEE!!!! This thing is beautiful!!! The box itself is pretty huge, but the Scarab is just awesomely smexy... I'll put up pictures of it once I can send the pics from my phone to my comp... Also got tons of free swag from the Clix area since we waited in the line a little too long... Oh yeah, the Chief was also there... *Squeak*

Also got a FULL SET for the Yu-Gi-Oh Premium Pack set that was released for this Comic-Con only (Also because the World Championship Tournament 2007 is going to be here, which both me and will be seeing on Sunday for the crowning of the tournament king ). is also going to be going into the Yu-Gi-Oh free-game tournament with his deck and the Pokemon TCG free-game tournament with mine today (I have class today, sadly, so I can't go today...), so that will be fun for him, especially if he wins the booster packs for both games!!!

Got three members from the famed Red vs. Blue team to sign the Trocadero CD, namely Tex, Grif, and Simmons. I'll get Caboose's on Sunday since he'll be there (And my younger sister is a BIG Caboose fan... Sadly, they didn't have the "I <3 Caboose" shirt, so I got her a Caboose beanie... )

Oh yeah, also finally got myself to put up several chapter for Halo: Like Father, Like Daughter. Previous chapter links are also in there, just in case you missed one (or are new to reading it) so that you don't have to dig so far into my junk to find it.

Ok, back to washing clothes for me, then working on my MUS80 paper that's due today (AND I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED IT YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )

Well, for one, I miss having resting over my shoulder while typing, not to mention just having him around was fun, except when he started his tickling torture... X_x;;; Jessie no like being tickled, yet Draco still does it...

Got some pictures, but I only have a small part while my friends have the other parts. Most of mine are from the YGO WCT 2007 between Chile and Italy (Footage of the deciding match is on YouTube. Just look for Draco-Falconi there, and you'll find my clip). Also got enough new Pokemon cards to recreate my deck. Watch out, trainers! The Phoenix is coming back and reclaiming her court!!!

The Trillings of a Falcon

I am so happy... Why...?

Because this falcon has finally met her dragon...

Well, was spending four days with me in my aviary of sunny San Diego, California for his spring break, so the huntress had to play hostess and provider for him while he was here. I took him sight-seeing around the campus, which he really liked since he loves some of the architecture, the water fountain in Price Center especially. Unfortunately, for two or three days, I had to drag him into the computer labs with me. He said it was fine since he wanted to see how I lived life here as a CSE student. Damn, that was rather embarassing. But he did meet my friends, and , and had quite a time. I let him use my laptop while in the labs to keep him busy while I was working. Occasionally, he distracted me from my work with his poking of my shoulder and teasing me But I still love him...

During the evenings, we were playing on the 'Cube that I had borrowed from and played Super Smash Bros. Melee, Metroid Prime II: Echoes, Star Fox: Assault, and F-Zero GX.

For Super Smash Bros. Melee, it ended up that both of us were equally good. He was using Fox while I was using, of course, Falcon. Earlier last week, when I was playing with and , they were actually surprised that I could handle Falcon Oh man, that was fun...

For Metroid Prime II: Echoes, he just wiped the floor with me in Death Match. I managed to catch 6 kills off him while he took the win in 10. Not too bad for a rusted huntress...

I just watched him play Star Fox: Assault while I was lying next to him, dozing off halfway when he woke me up with a tickle.

As for F-Zero GX, eh... Yeah... Need to work on that more even though I'm retired from F-Zero AX competitions...

I even took him to my other friend's place for hotpot Wednesday night, where he also got to have a glimpse of what I can cook. Needless to say, both of us were really enjoyed it.

But yes, it was a very awesome and romantic time for the huntress and her dragon prince. Even though I cried when he left, he said he was gonna try to visit again during the summer while I'm taking classes in San Diego

Oh yeah, on top of that, my mom also managed to get the Wii and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess!!! I won't be able to play it until I go back home for a bit of summer, but other than that, I can finally safely say that I will be getting Metroid Prime: Corruption and Super Smash Bros. Brawl once they come out. Watch out, smash fans, the huntress is gonna come out guns a-blazin' once I get on to the network!
