Back in March I went to Megacon with some friends. DAMN That was fun. I'm gonna go next year too. I might even try to get a couple of outfits ready toi go. Met some of my co-workers friends, they seem to be cool people. I got a bunch of stuff that I've been spending a long time trying to find. Aliens vs Predator and Aliens graphic novels. And the Albion from 0083.

In other good news, I finally got my truck down here. I already have put a lot of work into cleaning it up.

Sorry for the inactivity for a couple of weeks. I was in Cortes Bay, British Columbia, cleaning out my grandparents home. My grand father passed away last year, and we still had some work to do. It's DONE! Now all we have to do is wait for the place to sell. There's a lot of good memories there, and I'm a little down because this is probably the last time I'll be up there. I cried half a dozen times...The thing I'm gonna miss the most is going out and pulling up the prawn traps (shrimp traps for those of you who don't know) and fishing with him. I never really spent much time with him due to a vast continent seperating us, but the time I did spend with him I enjoyed.

I took many, many pictures, so I'll be uploading a few at a time here later.

It has 1024 sd RAM, 80 gig hard drive, dvd/cd-rw combo drive, Windows XP Tablet edition, and many more features! Also got money, buntch of DVDs and a wireless G router to start an internal network for the house.

Along with a grand Christmas I also turned 22 today. Only thing that would have made this christmas even better was if my dad was home. Since my grandfather passed away back in late May, this would have been my grandma's first Christmas without Papa. Dad went up to spend the holiday with her, so she won't feel completely alone.

Hope everyone else has had a great Christmas this year, and eveyone have a safe and fun New Years!

After we finished with what we could do for her we left in one of the cars my grandfather left for us. We left Cambel River, British Colombia and headed for Seattle. We had to rent a Trail Blazer so we could go down the Oregon Coast cause the Malibu couldn't handle all the weight. So we started down the coast and I got to see the sun set over the ocean, which is beautiful. We also hit the Sea Lion caves, which smelled of old rotten fish, but other than that was interesting. The Red Woods weren't what I had expected, but I only got to see just a small portion of it. Due to time restrictions, we could go further down so we had to start heading back up to Seattle, so my mom and sister could catch their plane back to Florida. On the way we discovered a wolf santuary called Wolf Haven. Didn't see much cause by the time we found it it was in the heat of the day and the wolves were all hiding, but I got a couple of pics.

After mom and sis was on the plane me and my dad started our run back home on our new car. The first day we drove over 800 miles from Seattle to Ogden, Utah. Nothin really special about that, but the next morning we found Hill Aerospace Museum, which I just had to go see. THey had a lot of planes, even some that I never expected to see. There was an SR-71 Blackbird, a B-17, B-92, and a few others.

After Ogden we headed for Las Vegas. TO me Las Vegas wasn't all that great, but I found some places that I liked. I tried the casinos, but didn't like it. I spent more time inside Game Works than in the casinos. The Sahara has an attraction where you can drive GM vehicles on several tracks, a high performance street track and an off road track. Unfortunately it was closed by the time we got to it. Another attraction , which can be found at the Las Vegas Hilton, is the Star Trek Experience...and damn it to hell if that one was closed too! I toured through some of the other casinos and my favorite had to have been Luxor, the one that looks like a Pyramid.

After Las Vegas our next stop was El Paso, not much there, but the next morning as we were on our way to San Antonio, I saw Mexico over the border. That broke my heart to see big condos and apartment complexes, then right across the river were shacks that wouldn't do good for a dog. Once we got cleared of that I started to calm down a bit. Once we hit San Antonio we went to the Alamo, which was a major disappointment...You couldn't take pictures of the place. They wanted you to buy pictures already made there at the damn gift shop.

After San Antonio, we headed for Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas to stay at my uncle's place. Had a great steak dinner with onion rings, baked potato, home made ceasar salad, garlic bread, and a glass of merlot to wash it down with. The next morning however was where the trip went bad for me. My suit case hit the back of my knees goin down the stairs and I fucked up my ankle real bad. Fortunately nothings broken, but damn that hurt like hell...

As for the rest of the trip my dad had to drive the rest of the way. We didn't stop anywhere else for sight seeing. Just made a mad dash back home. Anyways, I'm running some ideas through my head for a request a co-worker has asked me to do for her. So, i'll be working on that for a while.

In other news, has anyone noticed that as soon as Halloween is over, the stores start putting out all the christmas stuff? What's up with that? It's like they want to completely bypass thanksgiving and go streight to christmas. What's the deal? I know that Christmas is like one of the biggest money making holidays, but god damn. slow it down a bit. I started my new position back in the bakery at Publix, where I work, and the doughboy jokes are starting to fly...Only problem is that THIS doughboy will chase you with a huge ass pie cutter if you piss me of real bad. Today was supposed to be my second day of training, but the girl who was supposed to train me called in and said that her grand father was dieing. I understood that so I was ok with it. The thing that I was ok with was everybody that works there started coming in and taking the cookies that are there for the kids. Some found out the hard way that just cause I'm 365 pounds, doesn't mean I can't haul ass. Then on top of that some F***KHEADS were picking on a guy who's mentally handicapped that works there. those f***kers were luckly I was on the clock other wise I would have given them free flying lessons. The actually flying part would hurt them, it's the landing that'll kill em...so to make a long story short I say TO HELL WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD!

Now that I'm done ranting...I plan on doing some pieces of work for the US military to commemorate everything they throw on the line to make sure that we keep our freedom. If you come across any military personel, thank them. Be sure to thank Veterans too. Also thank your local police, fire, and paramedic personel.
