Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's been certainly a while since I've been around DA- college does kill. Well, here's what's new:

Got lots of Christmas presents. Gave LOTS of Christmas presents. It felt good, I got people fine and fairly decent presents for once. And with my own hard-earned money. It's all good. lol

Christmas presents list:
-A camera, from me to me xD (I love it!)
-Two pajamas, one's a kitty pajama and the other's a Mickey PJ <3 love 'em both

From Mom and my sister
-A mini Santa plushie and a very nice letter from my friend.
-Three small red katanas with gold chains

from two of my friends.
-A hand massager xD from Mom
-The limited edition of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End DVD from Dad.
-A keyblade cell dolly (from KH1) from me to me, again.

All in all, it was a normal Christmas spent with family and friends...

Now I'm looking forward to the new year. Lots of changes are in store for me. *grin* let's just hope they all turn good : )

So, wishing you all a very happy year, with tons of fun, love and friendship, I leave for a good night's sleep to fully start the year tomorrow.

Random facts:

The unheard writer in me often screams for recognition.

Lately said voice has been forced away.

The Lord of the Rings compiles the meanings that I give to life.

Instrumental songs from FF, LotR and PotC send chills to my spine when I listen to them carefully. These songs include Tina's Theme (FFVI), The Breaking of the Fellowship (FotR) and Drink Up, Me Hearties! (PotC3). The same thing also happens when I see some scenes in LotR like the war speeches/summonings, when the Rohirrim arrive to battle, the march of the Ents and the "For Frodo" scene.

I enjoy staring at a flame or fire.

I wish I would be born someone else with knowledge of who I am now...

If my life were a bit different, or if I could afford drastic changes, I'd practice pyromancy or some branch of witchcraft xD. At least go deep into it enough to know what it is.

"The Kraken" is the best song ever composed, but "Into the West" is the best song ever.

Recently (as in this morning) I received a notice saying that my deviation, Green Beauty (the wallpaper that featured Aurora from Sleeping Beauty dressed in green), had been removed due to copyright infrigement and plagiarism. Although I understand that the stock image I used was explicitly provided by the website I took it from to be printed out and colored, and all I did was color it by computer mediums, namely Photoshop, I understand the rules regarding this topic and the policy that DA has issued about it and I haven't too many troubles concerning the deletion of it, or the cause by which it was removed- I would've only liked to have removed it myself. For this reason I say now that I will be removing artwork for which I haven't the written permission from the artist to use, just so I can live better with myself, knowing that the deletion of my account won't be next as I have worked hard for what I have. I shall be listing here the deviations I will take down and their status before I did so, just if anybody wondered anything about that. As far as my memory can afford to take me, "Green Beauty", had at least 8 favourites and few comments, and I appreciate all and every single one of them, and will miss all of them as well. I am aware that the status of my account will drop because of this, also because many of the deviations that I will be deleting are the ones that bring the most traffic to my page, but heck, it's got to be done. So yeah.

Quiz Thingy #7 on January 7, 2007

The Rules:
The 1st player of this "game" starts with the topic "6 Weird Habits/Things About Yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a journal about their 6 Weird Habits/Things as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 6 people to be tagged and list their names.

Six weird facts about me:

1. I cannot rest if the door of my bedroom is open.
2. I listen to the TV or music at night to avoid nightmares.
3. Sometimes, the night before a special event, I leave my computer on and build a playlist of my favorite slow songs, mostly Lord of the Rings or The Chronicles of Narnia music, and at the end of the playlist I add a hard rock song, probably from the Advent Children soundtrack, to wake me up at a desired hour. I always wake up two or three songs before the rock song.
4. Although I am left-handed, and my right hand serves no purpose whatsoever, I can't use scissors with my left hand, and I cut papers and whatnot with my right hand instead.
5. I prefer the oldest version of AOL's Instant Messenger over AIM Triton and Y! Pager.
6. One of my favorite scenes in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is when at the battle for Minas Tirith the mûmakil arrive and charge towards the newly-arrived men of Rohan. Even though I love the scene, I shut my eyes everytime a mûmakil squishes a horse with its rider, which is the most repeated action in the scene.
7. I receive the Windows XP notices "Windows Virtual Memory Too Low" and "BitTorrent Download Complete" more often than I receive the notices "Updates are ready for your computer" and "You've got mail!"
8. By taking a look at my media player, you can see that the song that is played the most on my computer is "From Western Woods to Beaversdam" from The Chronicles of Narnia, with 171 play counts. It is followed by Amano Tsukiko's "Kakan" (87) and "Hisui" (77), Pirates of the Caribbean's "The Kraken" (52) and Evanescene's "Snow White Queen" (46).
9. The song that has stayed the longest in Repeat Mode on my computer is probably "The Kraken" as I never get tired of listening to it over and over again and it relaxes me.
10. I make ten items in a list that was supposed to contain only six.

And the worst part is, I have only thursdays and tuesdays free. And yet all the meetings for all these clubs i joined (and kinda lead lol) are on thursdays. Go me. And so I've managed to teletransport myself from classroom to classroom when I'm supposed to be at like, four places at the same time. Whoa.

Another worst part lol would be that I don't even have the time to comment back here, or to even think about touching photoshop, or anything at all. And that majorly sucks. 'Cause I even have my weekends booked with projects and homework for the following week.

On top of all that, I hate Mondays.

But I hate something even more:

FRENCH. lol it's kinda frustrating, and I've advanced way more in Japanese than in French since I started studying them both at the same time. Crazy, I know, but it's a funny challenge.

I am obsessed with that song. Oh God...

But that's not what I want to write about. I wanna write about me first day of school, see? Not everyday you start your senior year. In fact, you do it once. And I did it today. So do me a favor and read, though much of it won't make any sense whatsoever...

So I started school with Pre-calculus... I already knew the teacher. She warned us about many things, specially that if you curse you'll go to the police station with her for institutional peace violation. Haha, that was a funny one. She was serious, though.

Then she starts the first school day procedure. You know, reading new rules and stuff. And laws, too. And you know what? There's a new law. Called FERPA or something. And other laws. They mainly talked about the student's new rights about their stuff at school, and the new changes to online classes and evaluations and such. Oh, did I mention they changed the whole evaluation system? Why do these changes always happen on my last year at a school? My luck, I know. It's my lucky charm, I tell ya!!

Oh, and we're forbidden to take pictures of people because it's harassment. Ha. WHAT!? My camera is my life... I am now, lifeless. But I will make that yearbook. I will, mark my words. According to law I have to have expressed written permission from parents to do it. Dream on if you think that I won't do it, 'cause I will. A school year without my yearbook is not a school year at all.

As always, cell phones are forbidden, but who cares, I don't use 'em anyways.

Oh, and I also forgot to tell ya... my Pre-calculus teacher wants us to number each page in our notebooks. Oh, the annoyance...

Moving on to what I remember, we went to this other class next. I saw a bed floating below me, and I was in heaven. Asleep, that is.

Then another class. Oh man, I loved that one!! I am, from today until December 16 (or so), the Queen of the Damned. Two of my friends and me are the only students I know but the rest are eleventh graders. And I am a happy camper. I felt I was in the sweetest hell of them all... 'cause I can't rule the damned without a hell, y'know.

Spanish. Advanced Spanish. Yay! I loved the order the teacher called us in. From top to bottom. I liked my number two, though one is pretty, that spot is and always will be reserved for Karla, and I can't change fate.

Talking about numbers, I made it #10 on the Roll Book. I'm an M, for anything's sake!! I always go below the 15s. But 10's good, I don't have to wait so much for stuff now.

Oh, I just remembered. My Pre-calculus teacher also wanted to seat us in alphabetical order so she'd split friend groups, right? I still laugh my ass off at the way the seats got arranged. I'll draw something for you to see better:
