We had a lot of rain one day and everyone was completely soaked, I caught a terrible cold after that but I tend to forget that a bit (my parents say I should see a doctor but I refuse). My sketchbook was in my backpack on that day but luckily it was the only book that was unharmed, my travel guide became mush ^^;.

It's been a really long time since I wrote a journal and no I wrote a really short one *sigh* i just don't know how some people make such long journals.

I was planning on working a bit on my manga but I'm not really feeling like it, and I also have to work on my cosplay, and next week I have to study for my physics test, and there are some drawing ideas that I want out more than my manga, and I'm watching a lot of anime (FMA - Brotherhood equals *drool*), I want an empty holiday D:.

I'm learning how to make a site with dreamweaver and photoshop ^^
And I'm writing a story for writing class^^

I also saw at school today a documentary from sunny bergman. I don't know what the title is in english but it's about the beaty ideal in the world for women. I was just shocked that there are people in the world who can thnk about a body like that, about a human, about life. The beauty idel in the world is that of photoshopped pictures, it's an ideal that not exists but you are told you shouldn't be happy untill youreach that ideal. Basically it says yo should never be happy about yourself.
For every girl who reads this and (no offense) especially in the US because it seems to be much worse there: Be happy about yourself. I've learned that too.

And this was all organised in two days (over the whole country) with the sentences(translated): We're on a strike friday at 11 am. Everyone is particapating so you are too!
This was sent through e-mail and in two days it was spread over the whole country. Don't underestimate our intelligence system adults!!
But I went to my class at some point, I had an exam and that teacher won't take a strike as an excuse to not take it^^' (that was aroud 12.30 when pretty much everything went back to normal in our school.

^^I’m happy! The sky was beautiful this morning (I know but it’s 20 minutes by bike to school and I have nothing else to do).

I’m currently working on a new pic. It’s taking a lot of time that’s why I’ve been pretty much absent on DA lately. I believe that when you make a pic you’re proud of you should challenge yourself with the next pic (profile, water, etc.), that one is supposed to be suckish and you learn from it. That way you grow, but I’m proud of the one I’m making now too. NOOOO!!!! It doesn’t fit the system!!!! I wanted to post a WIP but my upload page doesn’t seem to be working…. Maybe it’s too busy?

Hunter X Hunter manga has started again^^ It started weeks ago but the site I downloaded from doesn’t have them so I had to find another source. It’s really great the story is back to the great reasoning and good characters and well-thought fights we are used to of HXH like in the exam-arc. What’s not to like!!???!! The art is also way better like in the beginning, especially now when on the stairs, that fight is so cool (and you gotta love Killua).

Naruto is really getting worse, I want to know what’s happening to the rest. But I’ve started to download 666 satan (after ;iconvixenkiba: borrowed me the first volumes). It’s so cool, the characters are amazing and I love the story (and for after the time-skip: I never knew there could be that many bishies in a shonen manga). Ironically these manga are made by the twin brothers Masashi and Seihi Kishimoto. YOU PWN SEISHI!!!! Snif!!! I’m sorry I didn’t discover your godly manga before.

I'm having difficulty coloring, i want to put more coloring in my shading cuz I think it looks prettier but i can't, because i get confused about the how the where and the which. I can't put emotion in it, while I want to.
As you can see my head is full of real and unreal thoughts now, it's just everywhere in my head and need some order in here. Maybe I'll go around for inspiration and tutorials again.

I've been to a festival/concert with my friend yesterday, we had to leave at six o'clock so we could only see 3 acts but they were very good =D We saw di-rect (dutch rockband) they were awesome and we were almost in front, OMG I was soo happy :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: And then we saw boris (winner second dutch idol season) I had never really seen or heard him, so i was really surprised he's a very good singer, and we were in front!!!!!! :bounce:

When we were in North Carolina someone at the pool Where we were fom, when i said "The Netherlands" She asked That's in France right?. That was almost scary OO

I bought 16? mang and found my new fave one: Vampire Knight(only read first volume but still......) it's like soooo OMG WAAAAH *faints from all the extremely cute vampires)

I decided to clear all the deviations from my watch i wish i could comment but I'm having the flu now and I already was tired from the trip and now I'm even worse, I'm sorry but that way my lazy ass will have time to comment on all the new deviations.

Yesterday i wasn't feeling so well(duh) so around 4 pm I decided to lie down for a bit then I got under my blankets cuz it was cold, it really wasn't my intention to sleep but next thintg I know it's 5 am and I'm thinking: food! cuz the last time I ate was in the plane(almost 24 hrs before that) but i couldn't wake up everyone so I had to wait till 7 am.

You probably won't see any art ffrom me very soon I tried to make some on vacation but I suck at pencil drawing(I really need to practice) and my pc is nearing it's memory end, it's 5 years old I think and had only 35 GB to begin with, so it's very slow especially with PS and my patience can nly cope with that for one hour a day, but I'll get a new one in about two weeksYAY:D *freaks out* so instead i can now work hard on my sucky comic (which you won't get to read cuz no way in hell I'm posting it Moo Ha Ha Ha.. Ha... ha....ha)

If you get a screenshot of my kiriban (=1,000 which is gonna take a very long time) I'll daw a fanart from a series of your request (not to hard and at least one link to a ref pic please) or your OC for you, if someone wants it.

In a few days...
I'll be going on a holiday to the US:excited: I'm so happy!
I'm going with my parents and brother and we will be touring the east coast and Canada too for two and a half weeks. After that we will stay for a week at the beach somewhere in North-Carolina. Rest... I'm so glad.

I'll leave the 23rd of July and come back on the 14th August.

Also manga's will be cheaper than here=D
Because:
10 $ in US = they sell it for 10 euros here but...
10 $ = +- 7 euros YAY!
And I hope in the US they will sell something in stores that they don't here, like Mugen Spiral, Princess Princess, Baby & me, etc.

I also noticed something else... the Netherlands are the almost the only country in West-Europe where they aren't broadcasting Naruto, not that I would want to see it dubs suck anyway but we are so far behind....

We're finally having some summer weather here but couldn't enjoy it because i had to clean my room with my mom, it took us about 20 hours in total!!! Man I hate cleaning....

And everybody was singing along, and especially the guitarist was awesome.
I had a wonderful night though i couldn't see the stage very well(I'm small) and it was raining(it was outside). But it doesn't matter because i went to the Red Hot Chili Peppers( I've been a fan since i was like 6 or something).

Now for the random anime talk:
Death Note: OMG so exciting I really want to see the next ep; there are some people who say this will be the last (is that true?)

Ouran High School Host Club: I just started to watch it and it's soo funny, you really should see it(most of you probably have) I love the twins they are hilarious.

Princess Princess: Not really well known I think but it's a funny, lighthearted anime with good animation and a good story. One of my favourites.

Claymore: I've seen the first few eps and it's a nice story and i like the characters, but above all... the animation. The animation is so good, I can't describe it, one of the most beautiful anime I've ever seen.

Naruto: Last episode was hilarious, I loved Neji's face when they did that team spirit thingy. But I hate the fact that the animation is bad, bad, bad, bad. It's such a famous series they could have done a better job but nooooo, they really want to hurt my eyes.

School's been inhumane busy, lots of tests and other projects from teachers who seem to think you have nothing to do besides making homework or you have no other subjects besides theirs.

i had a long weekend so that was a welcome rest, I went to Paris( in france) with my parents and brother and i bought a lot of clothes. Of course i also did the cultural stuff you're supposed to do there, not the usual stuff though I've already seen the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, etc. because my parents have friends there this was my 5th time in Paris. =D I love France, especially Paris, it is such a beautiful city and the food is great!!


I can't seem to draw with a pencil anymore, I've done a lot of sketching on the computer lately and when I tried to sketch something the traditional way it sucked, seriously. The pc just seems easier to handle with erasing and such. :(

I have some ideas for drawings and I'm going to work maybe one of them out.
