Hey folks,

This is probably going to be my last journal before Christmas, so merry christmas and a happy new year to all! I hope you all had much fun in 2009 and that there's plenty more to come in 2010.

Myself I had a rather life-changing year and one a damn site better than last year (well, part of last year anyroad). I re-aquainted myself with some very dear friends and turned to going down the pub with them usuall twice a week, unless it was a strain on my finances - then I opted for one of the two nights they'd go out. They're an awesome bunch of friends who pulled me through last year's struggles (as did some wonderful people through here, so many thanks for that - you know who you are!) and I even went out with one of them for a bit ... until I realised quite what a player he was. But hey. It's all fun and games. And I learnt some interesting stuff whilst doing so

I now have a fantastic new flat which I share with a lovelly guy called Chris and it couldn't be in a better location! Could do with the door bell working, but hey, that's minor details. Caught up with a dear old friend from primary school too.

Got myself involved with three secret santas this year - gah! Work, pub crew and FW. Dear lord! All much fun though. Work's we all get to open presents of tomorrow, pub crew was last night (I was given some interesting presents, and got 4 of my potential santas knocked out without even trying! So that leaves me with 6 people that it could be ... hmmmmm .....)

And now I will shut up and let you lot get on with your lives. But first ...

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hey folks,

bit of 'news' as it were for you. I was flicking through the Daily Mail at lunch (there's usually some kind of paper lying about at work), and there was this article that some uni student had done about the sexism in Thomas The Tank Engine. Her little kid watched the show and loved it for what it is - a great kids show - but the mum was all up in arms about how the female characters get side-lined, and that Thomas and his friends are in some kind of heriarchy system among their train buddies, and the cartoon will have drastic effects on kids and how they live their lives.

Much as her view was interesting to read, and actually she kind of had a point, I was mostly thinking "Just leave it alone, will you?! Never did me or anyone I know to watch that show as a kid." I seriously have something against people who get all uppity about legendary shows like that and deem them 'unfit' for children. Does anyone else agree, or am I just a bit of a nutcase?

Anyroad ... rant over ...

I copied this idea off as I think it's an awesome, inspiring one. This is a season of good will and enjoyment, and we can all bring a little of both to someone's lives if we just stop and think for a moment. So have a read though this and see what you can do.

WHAT DO I DO?

Write a Christmas/Holiday wish list of 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. Then anyone passing by takes a look and grants the wishe(s) if they can. This is not a "I want! I want! I want!" thing, it's more a "Hey, I have that and don't need it. That person would like it. I know, I'll send it to them!" kind of thing.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure people can get them to you! Message / note them your contact details.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

THERE ARE NO RULES WITH THIS PROJECT, NO GUARANTEES, AND NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Just...wish, and it MIGHT come true. Give, and you MIGHT receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

So, my wish-list is thus:

* A deck of cards (playing cards, as in Ace, King, Queen etc) from somewhere outside the UK.
* Everyone has a damn good time this christmas!
* Music from what, to you, is a local band.
* People not to be ill over the festive season.
* Poetry from an unpublished author.
* Snow on christmas morning! That would be amazing
* X-factor and other such rubbish 'talent' shows to be obliterated!
* Tickets to next year's IOW festival.
* People to shut up about how awesome Twilight is *sigh*
* Justice to be done to those who deserve it.

Merry christmas everyone!

Put your iTunes on shuffle (Or Mp3 Player, or whatever you use)
2. For each question, press the next button to get your answer
3. YOU MUST WRITE THAT SONG NAME DOWN NO MATTER HOW SILLY IT SOUNDS
4. Tag at least 10 friends who might enjoy doing the game as well as the person you got the note from.

1) IF SOMEONE SAYS "IS THIS OKAY" YOU SAY
Monster - The Automatic

I ... don't know what to say to that .... But it's an awesome song :-D

2) WHAT WOULD BEST DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONALITY?
Patience - Guns N Roses

Actually, yes, I am rather patient. But if you push me too far, boy, do you know it!!

3) WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN A GUY/GIRL?
Start talking love - Magnum

Ahahahahah ... that four letter word, it appears!

4) HOW DO YOU FEEL TODAY?
All fall down - Midget

This is a surprisingly up-beat song, despite it's title. And always makes me laugh. But no ... I have not been drinking and throwing up in the hall ... (as some of the lyrics go, haha).

5) WHAT IS YOUR LIFE'S PURPOSE?
Say something - James

To speak, aparently! Whooo!

6) WHAT IS YOUR MOTTO?
Dangerous combination - REO Speedwagon

I think this is pretty much most people's motto when it comes down to it.

7) WHAT DO YOUR FRIENDS THINK OF YOU?
Join with us - The Feeling

Hell yeah, we will take over the world!! Watch out :-D

8) WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT VERY OFTEN?
Don't bring me down - Electric Light Orchestra

I have been rather optimistic of late, and don't like over-used negativity. So yeah, don't bring me down guys!

9) WHAT IS 2+2?
Make this go on forever - Snow Patrol

A never ending equation, it seems ... I like that.

10) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR BEST FRIEND?
Everybody wants her - Thunder

Oh yeah! Course they do. But she's all mine, mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!! *ahem*

11) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PERSON YOU LIKE?
Story of a broken boy - Lights.Action!

Actually ... considering who I last was going after, that is scarily acurate. Dear god!

12) WHAT IS YOUR LIFE STORY?
Any way you want it - Journey

Yup. Any way you want it, that's the way you need it.

13) WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?
The power - Warrant

Er ... no, thanks. Because: With great power comes great responsibility. And I don't want that responsiblity.

14) WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU SEE THE PERSON YOU LIKE?
Family man - Fleetwood Mac

Pfffttt ... at the moment, no. Because I really don't know him. But perhaps ...

15) WHAT WILL YOU DANCE TO AT YOUR WEDDING?
You and me - The Delays

Can't really dance to that song ... meh. Tis a good one though.

16) WHAT WILL THEY PLAY AT YOUR FUNERAL?
Beautiful day - U2

Er ... well, I hope the weather's nice, but surley it won't be a beautiful day once I'm gone?

17) WHAT IS YOUR HOBBY/INTEREST?
(And now the waltz) C'est la vie - Slade

Dancing? Dancing waltz's? You obviously have never seen me dance, have you?

18) WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST SECRET?
Parklife - Blur

Yes. I admit it. I feed the pidgeons, I sometimes feed the sparrows. It gives me a sense of enormous well being. :-D

19) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR FRIENDS?
And the cradle will rock ... - Van Halen

They were all very naughty children at school, haha! Well ... some were ... some just so could not have been.

20) WHAT'S THE WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN?
Musical chairs - Ghosts

Dear god, what a scary game! Hahahaha! But seriously. Considering what that song's about, yeah, that probably is the worst that could happen.

21) HOW WILL YOU DIE?
Innuendo - Queen

Hmmmmm ....

22) WHAT IS THE ONE THING YOU REGRET?
The day we caught the train - Ocean Colour Scene

OMG, we so should not have ever caught that train!!! Hahahahah. Nah, never had a bad train journey in my life. Even the ones that got crazily delayed were fun in the end :-D

23) WHAT MAKES YOU LAUGH?
Motown never sounded so good - Less Than Jake

Motown ... mmmh ... nope, doesn't make me laugh really. But this song does :-D

24) WHAT MAKES YOU CRY?
Modern mafia - Athlete

Er ... ok ....

25) WILL YOU EVER GET MARRIED?
Stupid girl - Garbag
...

I went down the pub with my mates last night (do so most Mondays, it starts the week off niceley), and I got there a bit early this time. So I decided to do some automatic writing of just observing what was going on around me - something I got taught to do at Uni and is rather fun if you're ever bored for half an hour or so. Go somewhere there are a good few people, and just write down what you see. How you see it. That's what I did last night, and thought I'd share it with you lot. It's not a story or any major piece of writing like that, hence I'm putting it in my journal.

Enjoy.

PUB MUSINGS

Chilled jazz music plays. The sort used on a major film for a scene of the galaxy undisturbed. The bar is decorated with Christmas decorations in preparation for the festive season. Blue fairy lights make miniature Orions' Belt's along the dark green tinsel. Half a Christmas tree stands against the wall, robbed of its full splendour by being backed onto the buildings' frame, like some cut out in a children's pop-up book. Orange lights hang at set intervals, casting a soothing glow over the bar. Bottles of wine and spirits stand to attention, keeping their allotted place in the back-lit spectrum of alcohol.

A few people sit in small clusters at tables, mainly in pairs but not couples. Laughter comes in sporadic bursts from a table of six or so people; everyone else is just taking in the atmosphere.

An old gentleman nurses his remaining half pint of Guinness whilst reading the pub companie's magazine of franchise. He sits, frozen like a statue until he needs to turn the page. Then a hand will emerge from the stone grey jacket and surreptitiously do his bidding. A menu stands guard, should anyone from across the pub dare try and read what he was; only upside down. His brief case is by the table. An unwelcome reminder that he must go home sober enough to attend work tomorrow.

...and then my mates turned up, so I stopped writing. Make of it what you will. I just like to write, whenever I can, about whatever I can. It gives me pleasure.

I just don't get a lot of time on the net anyhow, and this place seems to have bundles of deviations / journals any time I visit it, so it takes a while to get through; thus I leave it till last ... and there is plenty more when I do. Kinda backwards logic there, but hey, that's me all over!

My artistic streak seems to have disappeared - damn shame really, I could do with it right now. Making up a random CD for a friend of mine, and I intend to put a picture of their car on the front of it, so it makes it more personal. Thing is, 1 - I don't have any pictures of said car (but I know its make, model, color and reg) so google helps with that. 2 - I am absolute rubbish at drawing the damn thing!! Gah. And I refuse to give in and print a picture off, as that is just cheating. I want the cover work to look hand done anyway. Just decently hand done, haha, which will take some time. Gah.

My uni mate who I did a writing course with has set a chalenge for us both - she's going to do a poem for me, and I'm going to do a story for her, by the end of this month.
Hello everyone! How are we all?

Yus, as the title sugests, I went to see Blur play at Hyde Park on Friday. It was awesome! Such a great band, playing hit after hit after hit. Love it!! The weather and support acts were great too, which always helps an open-air concert. Deerhoof were just plain bizzare, but amusing; Florence and the machine I'd love to see again. Fantastic stuff! Some jamaican (I think) band, who spoke very little english - they left by saying "Bye, ta", bless them. And then Vampire Weekend came on. I don't mind their stuff, but apparently most of the crowd did - about half way through their set, they started throwing bottles (empty and full) down towards the stage. I have never seen - in person - so many bottles get thrown at a band on stage!
Hello everyone! I am back from Jersey

Yus, holiday abroad is over But I still don't have to go back to work till next monday, so still very happy

It was a much needed break - I honestly don't think I'd been abroad before then for four years ... gah, way too long by far! Anyhow ... spent a lovely week there on my own, so no moaning about being dragged round the boring parts, hehehe. Instead I took each day as it came. Bliss.

OMG, getting off the plane from Gatwick I was hit by a wall of heat. Gah! Serious change in weather over there, and it continued like that right up until the day I left, so perfect timing Stayed in a nice hotel, though their 'vegetable cheese bake' really aught to have been called a 'carrot and bean cheese back', but hey. That is my only complaint. I got off the coach from the airpot and the hotel porter almost fell over himself to get my cases in, hehehe.

Wandered round the main town of St. Helier the first day, getting acquainted with their shops - man, never seen so many Rolex signs in my life! You could almost navigate by the fancy jewelers, hehe. But they had a Molton Brown shop as well, so spent a long time in there .... love their stuff!

Went up to Elisabeth Castle via the duck thing - which was much needed on the way back as the tide had come in acorss the cause-way. They had a guy dressed up in traditional soldier's officer uniform to do a display of things, and he got all the men (adults) from the tourists watching to march, heheh. Most fun. Then he fired the one o'clock canon - yeesh that thing made such a noise!!

Took a gentle stroll back and went on the 'Le petit train' round the town. Bless him, the driver charged me a child's fair, hehe. Thanks! Yus, did plenty of touristy stuff and chilled on the beech

Managed to get a bus to the War Tunnels or Underground Hospital (whichever you wish to call it) one day. Very cold in there! Very interesting but also disturbing stuff in there - all about what went on when the Germans invaded Jersey during the war. Nasty stuff. But a lovely cafe afterwards, hehe.

I have also been reading a brilliant book called 'The sight' by David Clement-Davies, which I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of wolves, or just general adventure stories which involve animals. It's amazing! Seriously. I so have to hunt down his other book ...

But worth it And man was I relieved the shuttle bus was free - was wondering if they'd accept my travel card on it or not, but needent have, so yeay. You are all such lovelly people! Sorry if I was a bit quiet - just rather overwhelmed by so many people in fancy dress in one place! And I had never met any of you lot before, so yes, a wee bit nervous too. But everyone was awesome! Many hugs and thanks to: Silver, Tsuki, Tribal, Nhukku, Naz, Si and Elle and anyone I forgot! Had a great time wandering round the Expo - yeesh, so much anime stuff! Whoah. Not caught the anime bug so a bit bemused by all that. Loved the Transformers car on display though, and playing Rock Band with complete strangers, haha!

Me and Silv persuaded a lot of folks to do the Hokey Cokey outside, which was brilliant! I don't think I've seen so many people do that dance before.
In more sense than one, I guess. But yess, I am back to my rambles - so be warned.

Easter was awesome! No kids to fight for a seat on the bus with, which is always good on a morning. My mate took me out to Bletchley Park for the day, which was awesome! Way too much to see it all in one day though, so I'm relieved an entry ticket there lasts a year - and only for £10. Excellent stuff. So, yes, have learnt a small bit about the Enigma machine etc and life in those times. Didn't get to seeing the old computers though, which is a shame - I actually remember using a ZX Spectrum!! Man, how old does that make me? Going again in the May bank holiday and the're'll be a special display thing on, part of which includes a fly-past by the Red Arrows. Yeay!! Haven't seen them in ages

Finally got round to having a catch up and some drinks after work with a very old friend, who, even though we work for the same company, don't really see each other out of work as much as we should. Gah. So, had a lovelly girly chat about stuff, and spent a good while watching some old lady and her parking ticket. Yes it sounds dull but it was really funny at the time (nothing to do with the Peroni or Coke, honest!) . She'd parked outside the Doctors Surgery, on a double yellow line, so duly got a parking ticket put on her windscreen. She comes out and either does not notice the ticket, or chooses to ignore it, and just starts the car as normal ... and pushes the ticket off with her wipers, hehe. Numerous other cars go past and run over the ticket which has now fallen in the road. Five minutes later, the old lady returns and picks up her ticket. WTF? Very odd ... methinks she is aiming to complain as she was talking to someone and showing them her bandaged leg. But, thing is, if the leg is so bad, how come she can drive?

Anyhow. People watching is fun And I'm not sure a margarita cocktail agrees with me - damn they're strong! But lovelly and served in a fancy cockatil glass, so yeayness. And we got table service. Whoo!

I was going to get a deck of cards I saw on here on Weds, that someone had done and were selling. But it was late and I couldn't find my purse. Then my friend asks for ideas for what to (belatedly) get me for my birthday, so I pointed her in their direction ... only to find they sold out. In a day! Nooooo!! But the designer is making a new deck, and I am SO going to get them! So all is not lost. Phew.

Well, I hope all is well with you all. And I shall see those of you who are going at the May expo

Not your usual title I guess, but hey, that's the strange life of me. Yes I got a promotion in January, but the job just wasn't for me. I did give it a reasonable try - two months - but my heart was not in doing the work, so I have stopped pretending. A massive thank you hug goes out to all managers involved in sorting me out with my old job - soooo greatful for it! So yes, back in old job as of tomorrow. And, best of all, actually getting a (minor) pay rise! Whooo!! Thank you pay increases

Other than that I have been ... well, having much fun with my new digital camera (note to self: do not leave new camera around mice!). OMG, it can do so much stuff it's silly! I can take pictures in sepia, black and white, usual, negative, blah, blah, blah ... yeesh! It's going to take an age to master all that. But it does let me stop people accidently deleting ones that I want to keep, so yeayness!!

Is it just me, or do councils randomly do road works on major junctions with no warnings? Was on the bus home one day and it was going way tooo slow for usualness, so I figured something had happened. Got to a main cross roads and there was one lane shut off and a huge (no exagguration there) hole in the middle of the road! WTF?? And then it was gone two days later ... but the traffic lights weren't working either, hehehe. By the end of the day they were thouhg. Gah, random council.

Absolutley gorgeous weather last weekend - I hope you all had the same wonderful sunshine - and it was perfect for a shopping trip Went up to Watford - love the little train ride and it's only £4 for a return, which is the best! Saw three girls in front of me who just looked like triplets dressed alike by their parents, it was so funny. ... well, I thought so.

So yes, shopping a plenty. To the point my arms strated to hurt carrying it all! Gah. My bank account went splat for ... 4 DVDs (Dungeons & Dragons, Spider man 2 & 3, The Full Monty), 1 PS2 game (Hot wheels stunt track challenge), 3 tops (Primark), 2 earing & necklace sets (Primark), 1 pair of earings (River Island), 1 necklace (Accessorize), 2 CDs (HMV), and finally 1 mug (past times). Phew!

Does no one watch my kind of films? Gah, booh you lot! *ahem, joke*. Ok, here's some more quotes to make it easier, but they're spoken by different charactes unless stated otherwise:

RULES:
1. Pick fifteen of your favorite movies.
2.
I just noticed I haven't updated this since almost a month ago! Sheesh. And, alas, not a lot has happened since .... well, it has, but most of it is boring to you guys, or I am not allowed to tell you (else I'd loose my job). Meh.

What has been going on? Welll ...

I am somewhat more established in my new job at work, but still nowhere near as confident as the other staff! At least I now understand most of the paperwork I have to do. I just dislike the fact that I am left to work out what is now my responsibility, when, before, the others were doing the work for me as I wasn't up to it ... gah, why does no one tell me I now have to keep track of a hell of a lot more? Bah.

Actually survived a week without the person who was training me - she got given a holiday to Cuba for her birthday! (My folks would never do that for me) - and damn, that was scary! But I managed, and it taught me that I knew more than I thought I did, so yeayness

Got back into doing the music quiz down my local pub with my mates from work - we hadn't done it since before Christmas! Tis a good laugh, and you don't have to come first to win a prize, which makes it a friendly atmosphere. I also met up with some mates I haven't seen in way too long there, and did the next week's quiz with them and we came 6th out of 30, so yeay!! Question: How do people get songs played in reverse? One of the quiz rounds was ten songs played backwards, which we had to guess the artist and title of (and we did rather well too ), and it's always bothered me how that is done. I am probably being very dense with that question, but meh

A new French Connection outlet store has opened this week in a shopping centre near me, and they're selling stuff at up to 80% off!! <img src="http://e.deviantart.com/emoticons/e/excited.gif" width="23" height="19" alt=":excited:" title="OMG!
Hello folks, how are we all? I hope all is well.

Sorry for any lack of activity, but I have been a tad caught up in starting my new job and training someone else in my old job. Gah! I do wish work weren't so slack at replacing people. I had, and passed, my interview on the 7th Jan ... so why does it take them till the start of Feb to even think about getting a replacement in? Gah! Anyway, someone who used to work for us has taken over me ... though he is at college on a weds, so I do my old job those days. But odd, but fun

The new job is ... strange to say the least! I have been doing it since 10th Feb, and feel like a fish out of water! It reminds me of when I left primary school and started secondary school - went from knowing everyone and everything to knowing nothing and no one. Argh! Not quite like that, as I work for the same company still, and did know the folks I now work with a bit, but still. Just the training strikes me as an odd way of doing it. There's 8 of us on our team, and they've got someone to train me and do her job at the same time. Eh? Can she not just solely train me till I'm somewhat ready to go it alone, while the others cover her work? But perhaps I know nothing, and being new, I don't really think it's my place to start criticising working practices *ahem*.

Anyhow, I am getting to grips with it slowly, but there is a lot to learn. And none of it is simple! Still, it means I get paid more *ahem*

On a different note, I have been practicing with acrylics - mainly through trial and error, as I would rather someone teaches me in person, than read a book on how to do stuff - and managed to produce a pretty good pic of some wilting tulips that were in a vase at home. Still at a loss on how to paint realistic water, but hey.

Came up with the idea of a dog rebelling against the idea of pets being dressed in human clothes (see little sketch), so did a drawing of one holding a jacket and a bottle of nail varnish, wanting to throw them on a fire. I like the character, but think it needs a lot more work - I am rubbish at drawing dogs, as you will see!

Went shopping in town today, and found an awesome bargain in one of the charity shops. Someone had donated a set of eight Windsor & Newton inks - all different colours - and I baught them for £3. Awesome! The set's hardly been used at all, but I shall put it to good use - both in writing and art work, hehe. I love shopping in charity shops - yes there is some junk, but there are some wonderful things hidden as well. And all the money spent is for a good cause. So hooray!

Also niped into HMV and treated myself to Kean and All-American Rejects new albums ... and managed to get some nice art stuff cheap as the shop was having a half price sale. Though I overheard the owner telling her friend that she was struggling to make a profit, so I hope it doesn't close - it's the only deacent art shop in town!

Anyhow, enough of my ramblings.

Well, 2008 finally has finished. At ruddy last! Gah, it seemed to really drag towards the end for me. Anyroad, I am glad to leave the past six months behind and start afresh as much as possible.

Belated merry christmas / new year to everyone - I was too busy to update this at those times, so you get the greetings now. I hope you all had a good time and didn't drink / eat too much, hehe.

Sat up watching Jules's Hootenanny last night ... my word, what a load of rubbish! Seriously. I can understand they're trying to cater for everyone with a wide range of music, but it was rather dull. There was Martha someone and the Vandellas (very old group) being the main stars, some rubbish from the Ting Tings and The Hold Steady, and three durgy songs in a row. Much as Adele, Duffy and Annie Lennox are awesome singers, I do think to have them perform Chasing Pavements, Rockferry and Why in succession was not the right thing to do on New Years Eve at half 11! But perhaps that's just me ... I'd have had party music playing!!

Anyway ... enough of my pesimism. I have vowed to be more positive and optimistic this year, and put myself first more. No more of this "Well I'd like to see such-a-show, but doubt anyone else would want to see it, so won't be a lemmon and go on my own" stuff. I shall go and see what I damn well want to see, alone if necessary, and enjoy it!

Yes, I have finally got into the Christmas spirit (took a bit longer than usual this year, but hey). Decorated my noticeboard and PC with tinsel at work today, hehehe.... and did plenty of real work. Gah, very busy day.

Fair bit of mail to sort out, then had to run over to the court to rescue some stuff that should never have gone there (silly person who took it over). Gave everyone their new ID cards; and we all look either moody, sunburnt, or both!! Christmas is the season to be ill, it seems. But so long as it's not like last year, I don't mind. (I caught some nasty virus thing that had me in bed, too weak to do anything but sleep from Christmas Eve through to ruddy New Year then. )

Going to do my Chirstmas shopping next week, so whoo. I'm off to buy a present for myself to - from my mum! See, I asked for a long coat for Christmas, and that kind of thing you can't really buy someone without them having a say in it beforehand. So she's going to give me some dosh and I shall get one I like Much as I dislike clothes shopping, I am looking forward to this. So there!

In other news, I had the strangest of dreams last night - part of it had some toy mice that were real (as in alive), and taking part in a game much like one of the bonus stages in Sonic 3 .....WTF??!! I don't recall eating cheese before going to bed (and no idea if that's true or just an old wives tale that it gives you funny dreams anyhow).

Off to see my b/f in his council place this weekend, so that will be nice. Possibly going to attempt to put up curtains too - oh help!! I am not scared of breaking a nail; just don't want to be the one who gets it in the neck when they fall down in the middle of the night, hahaha.

And speaking of breaking nails, I saw this on journal, and stole it as I feel like seeing how 'girly' I am.
Yes, well ... according to the list at the end I am anyway. I think it should be more, as I have stuff by plenty others who aren't in the list, but hey. Such is life.

Had a bit of a wobbly day yesterday - I just found the slightest thing was really getting to me, and making my cry. And usually such things I just take in my stride as annoyances of life. My b/f got discharged from hospital yesterday, so I guess that was a main factor of it all. But stuff like no one really having a clue who is where downstairs in our office (we recently had a whole office of staff join us and it is hectic to say the least), I can usually get on with ... not yesterday though. I just didn't give a damn what happened, and had lost all sense of pride in my job (granted it's not the most cushty of jobs, but I like it all the same).

Came home in tears and had a chat about it all with my parents. They sujjested I either get myself signed off sick, or speak to someone at work (for they all know what's happend re: me & my b/f) and see what they say. To be honest, I think it's having lost the stability of the hospital among all the stress and emotional pull of it all, that just broke me down. That and what one of his friends said to me last night - that was just the last straw. He was asking me how my b/f was (fair enough), and I said I wasn't really sure as I hadn't spoken to him in a while; but I assumed happy as he was being discharged tomorrow [this convo happened on sun]. I told him we'd decided to have a bit of a break from each other as the pressure of it all was too much for me, and that if we did live together, it wouldn't be any time soon (if at all). To that I got: "Yeah, but have you thought about how much it would mean to him?" You what?? I've done nothing else since the accident!! I just lost it and snapped at him for that. So yeah, that didn't help.

Anyhow ... went into work today and had a nice chat with two of my colleages (my manager and someone a level below her). They both sujjested I phoned this company who offer a free counselling service, so I spent an hour talking to someone about it all, and they're going to arrange some weekly sessions for me. They're going to do what they can about my problems at work, and have said that if despite that, I still feel I can't hack it at the moment, then to get myself signed off and not worry about leaving them with next to no staff (for that was a concern of mine). Helped a lot, thanks guys.

Feel much better today - by no means my usual self, but a lot better than yesterday.
Hello everyone,

How are you all? Doing well, I hope. Life's been pretty bog standard for me really - work, see the boyfriend at weekends, and repeat. *ahem*

Work has been fun though - I've got myself involved with some Staff Action Group thingy to try and improve how staff are recognised within our office. Lord knows if anything will come of it, but so far it's had a good few interested folks, so yeay. I suprised myself by actually having a few ideas for it as well rather than just saying "Yeah, this would be good ... right, what can we do within it then?" etc.

In other news, I paid the dentist £16 for him to say "OK, you're teeth need to be cleaned and then you can go home." Bah! I know 'cleaned' means 'de-scaled professionally' but still, why do I have to pay to have that done? Meh.
Went down to London for my boyfriend's graduation do - had a much nicer day than I did for mine, lucky sod. It was nice to catch up with some of his mates too. And OMG, the traffic getting back was a nightmare! 3 hours stuck going 1 mile an hour! Gah. I only hope there was some football match on or something (but I saw no obvious fans), as that would explain it. Then we went to stay in the Graham Hill unit again - for a longer time this time.

Found out my brother is a closet X-factor fan I shall torment him about that till his dying day! Such shows are banal in my opinion. And that goes for Strictly Come Dancing as well, mum! (She won't read this, but hey).

On another note, I'm rather impressed with the BBC of late, over their actions considering this Russel Brand / Jonathan Ross scandle. What they did is disgusting, not in the slightest bit funny, and downright stupid in my opinion. For those of you who haven't heard, they both phoned Andrew Sachs (actor known for playing Manuel in Fawlty Towers) and left a crude, insensitive message on his answer phone regarding Brand and his grand-daughter on the 18th October, live on Radio 2. The bit that gets me most though, is that this was all pre-recorded, and some numpty from the BBC let it go ahead!! But, give them their due, the BBC have suspended both; cancelled Ross's show that was meant to be recorded tonight; and are investingating how it came to be deemed suitable for radio material. Brand has resigned from his show as well.

To be honest, I'm not suprised Brand is caught up in all this - he has been known for doing other stupid things before - but I wouldn't have expected it from Ross.

Take care all!
My friend e-mailed me some mistakes commentators / competitors made at the Olympics this year, so I thought I'd share them with you all.

1. Weightlifting commentator: "This is Gregorieva from Bulgaria . I saw her snatch this morning during her warm up and it was amazing."

2. Dressage commentator: "This is really a lovely horse and I speak from personal experience since I once mounted her mother."

3. Paul Hamm, Gymnast: "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my mother and father."

4. Boxing Analyst: "Sure there have been injuries, and even some deaths in boxing, but none of them really that serious."

5. Softball announcer: "If history repeats itself, I should think we can expect the same thing again."

6. Basketball analyst: "He dribbles a lot and the opposition doesn't like it. In fact you can see it all over their faces."

7. At the rowing medal ceremony: "Ah, isn't that nice, the wife of the IOC president is hugging the cox of the British crew."

8. Soccer commentator: "Julian Dicks is everywhere. It's like they've got eleven Dicks on the field."

9. Tennis commentator: "One of the reasons Andy is playing so well is that, before the final round, his wife takes out his balls and kisses them... Oh my God, what have I just said?"

Hehehe, made me laugh anyway.

How is everyone? Doing well, I hope.

My boyfriend is progressing well, and as he put it, "got his wheels today". I assume that means he got his wheelchair, so that's a great sign. Hopefully he'll soon stop complaining of being bored in hospital as well! Hehe. Nah, I guess it must be dull being stuck in bed all day. TV is only so entertaining and daytime stuff is abismal!!

Sorting our flat is going better than first thought, as well. I gave the estate agents back my set of keys today (I think it was the master set as well!), and we're going to shift everything out first weekend in September. The landlord's put the flat back on the market, so I hope someone sees how nice a place it is and decides to rent it ... otherwise we'll be paying rent till December! Gah. Thankfully we opted for the shortest of leases.

Going to do a bootsale on Sunday, so fingers crossed for the weather staying nice. Man, I never realised I had so much junk in my room! Worse thing is, most of it is stuff I never moved to the flat initially ... oh dear ...oh well. Such is life.

Sorry folks, another semi-rant-update on my life. Don't read these ramblings if you don't want to - I just need somewhere to put my feelings down and this seems to help. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who sends both of us their kind thoughts and wishes for a speedy recovery.

Friday:
I went down to see my boyfriend initially on my own, and then met up with the two friends he'd been with the night of the accident. How his mate managed to call my parents, me, my boyfriend's family and the ambulance after witnessing it, I don't know! If it had been me, I would've just stood there in shock. Seriously. He is a hero and I will never forget that.

We went for a drink before going to see him, and ruddy Three called, telling me my phone was ready for an upgrade. I don't mind it when phone networks text you such things, but phoning? Bah! So I politely told them I was in the middle of a family crisis and didn't really care about phone upgrades. That seemed to do the trick

My boyfriend was in good spirits today. We all kind of bombarded him, poor thing (his dad was there as well, which I didn't realise). But it was lovely to see him so happy. After his friends went home, me and his dad stayed a bit longer and went to get him a hand-held fan because the hospital was so muggy. Gah! I have never had such troubly trying to find a battery-operated fan on a market. In ruddy London! Yeesh. Walked up and down it about three times, and in the end asked this stall holder as she was packing up. Bless her, she got her kids to move a few boxes to find one and sold it to me with some batteries too. Thank you!

Me and his dad went for a spot of 'dinner' at McDonald's, and when we came back, my boyfriend spotted the coke glass I had and went "I want a cheeseburger". So I told the hospital staff and asked if maybe he could have a cheese sandwich or something? One of the nurses just said "If he wants a cheeseburger, he can have one." So he did! Well, hamburger actually (damn boy changed his mind), but still. It's great to see his appetite back. I waited until we were alone before I revealed I'd brought his favourite toy (just in case I got a look of "I told you not to"), but he loved it. Home comforts are just what you need in such times.

Saturday:
I went down with my mum today. Well, he asked to see her yesterday, bless him. Ruddy trains were up the junction, bah! Though, much as it irritates me when they do engineering works, I was very greatful to the overground train staff yesterday when I went to cancel my season ticket. Usually there is a charge for doing so, but when the lady saw my reason for returning it, she said they'd waive the fee and only charge me the price of a peak-day return (£10). It's the little things that make the difference sometimes. Bless her, she even made sure I had the right ticket to get to the hospital.

Anyhow ... we took down some cherries and some of his favourite sweets, hehe. He was rather dopey intially but I think he'd just been dozing, because he perked up not long after we arrived. Still in good spirits, and I think slowly realising quite what he has done to himself. I get a sense he's asked his family / the doctors what's happened, rather than remembered it. He said he could feel his feet, which although it seems a promising sign, could just be phantom feelings. So I won't get my hopes up just yet. But keeping my fingers crossed for the best.

I'm not going to see him tomorrow because I need a break from it, and I think he does too. Much as he is probably bored rigid on his own (despite the numerous things his friends / family have brought for him to do, hehe), entertaining visitors must be knackering for him.

Going to try and go back to work on monday. It will be good to be back in 'reality' for a bit. Don't think I can manage a whole day, but we shall see.

Thank you, everyone for your support and kind words over this horrible accident.

Well, yesterday my boyfriend went for his operation to try and pin his spine back together. Weather it worked or not, I am unsure. No doctors said either way (though, to be fair, I din't ask any); but they let me and six or so of his friends go and see him about 10 minutes after bringing him back from theatre, so I guess form that it went fairly well. I'm going down to see him later today and will try and find out then. He was rather out of it when I saw him, but that was probably down to the anesthetic and stuff after the operation more than anything else. Can still crack a joke though

It's killing me slowly, inside. I try and be strong for him, but when I get on my own and think about it I just break down. Have done so twice on the way home on the train now, and both times, complete strangers have come and asked what was wrong. I thank even them for giving a shit about someone they don't know from Adam. This has all just happened at the worst time (not that there ever is a 'good' time for such a thing to happen, but this was a particulalry bad timing). Having been driven crazy being stuck in our flat with no job, he was due to start a temporary one on Wednesday, and then a permanent one two weeks later. His graduation from Uni is in October, he was meant to go on holiday with his family this weekend ... it was all looking so rosey until this.

I went back to the flat with one of his friends last night, to clear out the fridge really so it doesn't stink to high heaven the next time we go back to move the stuff out (for that is what is going to have to happen, seeing as the flat's on the third floor up 4 flights of stairs). I was in there for a minute at most, and just seeing everything as it had been left on Tuesday morning was too much for me. I couldn't cope with being in there and had to get out. Got a favourite toy of his from when he was a kid before I left, and I'm gonna take it down to him today - despite him saying he didn't want anything from the flat. My heart tells me he does and I know sometimes you just need a soft toy.

Appologies for the rant - I am rather emotional to put it lightly.

Yeah, this isn't pretty and it's the kinda stuff you see on TV dramas and think "My god, how awful", but you never imagine yourself being on the recieving end of it. Here's a little story of my day today, and I warn you, it's not a nice one. Sorry to those of you who are here and on FW and may have read this before.

I got woken up at 7:00 this morning by two policemen ringing my door bell. They asked for me, and then told me, very profeshionally and as kindly as possible, that my boyfriend had been involved in an accident last night and was now in intensive care in hospital. Lovely start to the day, no? I was obviously knocked for six and upset, and phoned his mum to find out precisley what had happened. It transpires that he'd been round to his friends' flat, and had somehow (no one is quite sure of the details) fallen out of the window and landed head first. As a result, he's fractured his skull (but thankfully has no brain damage) and broken his spine amongst other minor injuries. However he was able to talk so it's not as bad as it could be. I called my parents to let them know, and it turns out they knew something had happened (but no idea what), as his friend had phoned them last night and managed the words "[insert boyfriends' name here]", " window" and "ambulance" over a lot of commotion; so I told them the full story and then came back home to be with people, rather than in a flat on my own.

Phoned in sick at work with a brief message, and went down to the hospital at about 10:00. I felt so much better for seeing him and knowing that mentally he is completely himself. It also helped knowing he's in the best possible care, and had progressed from being on a ventalator first thing this morning, to breathing on his own before I got there. So I talked to him and his family; introduced my mum to his dad (why is it always things like this or weddings that bring families together?), and we all tried to keep each other in good spirits. Worst case scenario is that he won't be able to walk again, but, as his mum said, plenty of disabled people compete in the paralympics and have fantastic lives, so it's not all bad.

The staff at the hospital are lovely, and let me go in to see him when it wasn't techincally visiting hours. His step dad just called me and told me he has just been transfered out of intensive care and onto a ward, so things are looking up. But he's not out of the woods by a long shot yet.

Thanks to anyone who read all that. I am slowly coming to terms with it, but gonna stay off work for the rest of this week. Much as I am upset by the whole incident, I'm also relieved it's not as bad as it could have been, considering what's happened - hence the 'mood' thing. That and that DA is playing up and not loading any of them, so I can't change it!

Hello folks,

I finally made it to a computer ... whoo! Still have yet to get the internet set up in our flat though (hunting around for the best deal at the moment ... Virgin seems to be winning at £9 a month and no phone line needed, but I smell a rat there really). Anyhow ...

How is everyone? Sorry to be harsh, but I have just deleted any messages / pictures in my 'viewing' box today as I so rarely get to the interenet that it will take forever for me to go through them. Once we have it at home, I shall go through people's galleries and look at stuff they've done. And comment ... and such.

Gah, what a time it's been. I was intending to go on FW but the library won't let me access invisionfree sites for some reaosn ... maybe it doesn't like forum boards? I dunno. Anyway, sorry for that. Bah.

Have a job interviiew on the 22nd for a place in London, so I'm hoping I get that (would save a lot on the travel, and would just give me more opportunity to move up in the workplace, which is what I could do with more than anything).

I shan't be uploading any pictures on here untill I get the hang of scanning stuff in (never done it before), or find a USB stick that actually works! Last one I had, I downloaded a bundle of stuff from my PC onto it, before it got some kind of virus, and then when I went to upload it again, the damn thing wasn't recognised ... so I lost a load of pictures and things. Which is damn irritating and has kinda put my trust in them a little shaky as it were. Bah.

Anyway, enough ranting.

Must go rescue the boyfriend from the random drunk guy he started talking to, and get to the quiz for tonight.

Take care all

Fang xxx

Right ... haven't done any artwork for a while, but I am currently finishing off two pictures. I did contemplate putting them up un-finished, just as an obsucre artistic moment - well, it struck me we always see finished paintings / photoshops / etec, and I kinda like to see how something did once look before hand. But maybe that's just me ... ah well, if they do get put up it'll probably be in scraps if anyone's curious enought.

Way back in March (yes it was only last month but it feels so long ago), I did a film quotes / music lyrics quiz ... the winner of them would get art from me. Well, seeing as only a few folks actually guessed any of mine (or had a go for that matter ... maybe I missed the idea train this time? Either that or my taste in films / music is too obscure for you guys, hehehe) Anyhow, for their efforts, those people shall be awarded some artwork in due course. Whoo! It was a great excuse to eat lovely food and relax with everyone rather than working still. I get friday off this week, so party!! And I'm going to see Avenue Q with Cal then as well (have seen it before but it is just the best ever), so yeayness. And we shall get a wee bit pished and sing karaoke tomorrow night, hehehe.

But enough of my ramblings...

I went to see The Feeling in London last night, and am on rather a high from it. They are a wicked band to see live! And it was in the perfect venue too - a nice little place called Shepherd's Bush Empire I love the venue itself, and have been to see many a band there, but I shall not digress ...

The support act were some lot called Palladium (I think ... didn't quite catch the name to be honest), who were pretty good themselves. They did a song that I know I've heard on the radio before now, so must be relatively well known ... I just have no idea what the song is called. All I know is part of it goes: "..and I know she's the marrying kind ... " bah. Can hear it in my head now, which is kinda irritating. Anyway ...

But The Feeling kicked a**e! Ah me, such an entertaining band. And to start off with their latest single, they must've been pretty sure of themselves .. which I kinda like in bands. 'Twas one hell of a show - with two encores - and a bundle of stuff from both albums. And they played their version of "Vidoe Killed The Radio Star", hehehe. Yeay! For anyone who cares, these are the songs they did (because I am sad enough to remember them all):

I Thought It Was Over
Fill My Little World
Won't Go Away
Never Be Lonely
Spare Me
Without You
Strange *
Turn It Up
Sewn
Together In Electric Dreams (I think that's what it's called anyhow ... was a cover of an older song)
Don't Make Me Sad (not 100% sure the two dancers were needed for it, but hey. Gave any bloke near the front a good view!! )
Join With Us
Love It When You Call

*encore 1*
We Can Dance

(At the start of that one they walked through the audience, which was awesome! Alas I had opted to stand out of the general mob so I would get a good view, but hey. I could at least see when they really weren't going to come back on stage again, hehehehe)

*encore 2*
Video Killed The Radio Star

* The way they went from "Strange" (a nice little balad off the first album) to "Turn it up" (a very lively number from the second album) was something else! Seriously. You had the lead singer (dunno his name) sitting at the piano, playing "Strange" on his own, revolving glitter ball and a spotlight the only lighting ... and then he somehow got the crowd to keep singing the "oh-oh" part of that song and make it faster ... then the rest of the band kicked in with "Turn It Up". I've never felt anything like that before!

Appologies for ramming that down everyone's throats - just a tad excited by the whole night *ahem*.

Got two free posters from it too! Was just sitting around before the band came on, saw one of the staff putting blue-tack on posters in order to put them up, and asked if I could have one. And she gave me two. Yeay! Ta.

And on a less exciting note, I had a soggy day today (thanks to the weather), and a dentist appiontment. Whoo. Well, all I got told was "All is fine, come back in six months" so yeayness

Last weekend, I went to stay in a little B&B / Pub (it's both in one you see) in Devon called the Pack O' Cards Inn, just to get away from the hassle of work for a while. And it worked a treat! I had such a fantastic time, I just wish I could've stayed there longer ... and am definately going back soon.

The staff and locals there are so welcoming and friendly that I felt a home, having only been there half an hour! Seriously. On the Friday I got to playing Cluedo with Tracy's kids (who were about 7 / 8) because they wanted someone else to play, and I thought "why not?". Also got many a drink baught for me, and an offer of a lift back to the station to catch my train home. Now that would be most helpful as I will otherwise have to rely on close-timings of busses.

Saturday - went for a walk on the coastline (the place is 10 minutes from the coast) and went to see this "Camels eye" stone they have. Basically it's a large stone in the shape of a Camels' head, and there's a hole in it roughly where its eye should be - hence the name. Wasn't the best of weather for doing so, but hey. Such is life. It was great just to be out of the city for a few days. Came back and spent the evening just chatting with the locals, and having them buy various drinks for me (thanks folks).

Sunday - Got myself some souverniers from the place. Also had a wander round the little museum about it, which was nice. And then got to playing poker in the evening. Now that was brilliant fun. I haven't played that game in a while, so was a bit unsure of what made up what hand, but soon caught on again. And even won myself £10! Whoo! .... and then I spent it on drinks / food / the other games, hehehe. Ah well, was great fun. Even got one of them trying to hitch me up with one of the others. Hehehehe. Alas, no. 1 - I am almost ten years older than him (which, to be fair, she didn't realise at the time), 2 - I already have someone else thanks, and 3 - leave the poor lad alone, he's obviously embarrased by it all. In the end I agreed to a game of pool to get them off our backs - and he royally kicked my arse at it! Bah! Was good fun though

So thank you to everyone there, and I shall return .... when I can next find some spare time!

Hello everyone!

Belated Happy New Year, and I hope your christmas went well and that no one caught this nasty Noro (sp?) virus thing that's going around. It's evil.

I've always wanted to be able to draw something more than just foxes or guitars, so yesterday I went on the hunt for some kind of "How to draw ... " book that didn't confuse the life out of me with its technical mumbo-jumbo and its examples that are of a Hockney / Rembrant / Rothko / some other fancy artist style. And I actually found one! Yeay! Best of all, it only cost me £3 instead of £13. I love cheap but good art-ish shops

So yeah, bought this book entitled "How to draw dragons and other mythical creatures" and thought I'd give it a shot. As a result, there are two new piccys of mine - actually it's the same picture just one was taken with the flash on, and one with it off - of my first attempt at drawing a dragon. Whoo. I even got round to using my fancy iridescent paint that I bought ages ago and haven't used till now.

What else has been goin on? Erm ... work has been a mad house. Having to train a temp up for a job which they'll do for 2 weeks while one of our main staff are on holiday ... that went to pot from the word go. So many staff were off sick etc that I had to throw the poor bloke in at the deep end. No wonder he only stayed with us for two days, hehe. Thouhg I don't think the staff shortage was solely to blame - he had the kind of I-don't-really-want-to-do-this-but-I-need-the-money attitude. Ah well. Tis all fun and games.

... but sometimes, you just might find you get what you need."

Very true lyrics, courtesy of The Rolling Stones. And today I realised their meaning properly.

I had today off work (whoo!), because I was giving myself time to see Meatloaf at Wembley ... with my ex. First time we'll see each other since we split. So, obviously, I was banking on dressing up a fair bit, tying to make him think "darn it, why did I dump her?" etc ... Got my hair done in the morning as planned, and then ... it kinda fell apart. All from a phone call from Ticketline. The Meatloaf gig tonight has been persponed until further notice ... bah!! And double bah! But I guess I was half expecting such a thing to happen, as he'd been taken off stage on a previous gig a few days ago, and had to re-schedule that one. Still. Would've been great to see the rock legend, but hey. I shall wait until they re-schedule it ... and if they don't, I'll get my money back, so no hardship either way.

But the gig being cancelled had its upside - it meant I got to see my ex for more than a "Hi, here's your ticket, let's go find seats etc" kind of thing. Which is good. We went for a lunchtime drink, and got on really well Just talked like the old friends we first were. And I'm actually glad I didn't have time to tart myself up - I didn't really feel the need to anyway; just it kinda felt like the norm of what you do first time you see your ex again.

And, I now don't have to meet up with a mate tomorrow and get probed for gory details of the meeting, hehhehe ... whoo!! Party

Yes, as the title suggests, me and Cal broke up yesterday. And this time it was for good (have almost done so once before, about 6 months into the relationship).

Yesterday was not fun. Slammed my office door a good few times during the day (ok, that bit was fun) - and it made a deacent noise, which is always good when slamming doors. Was kinda feeling a bit hopeful for the inevitable meeting until lunchtime. Told my friend why I was looking so down, and found out Cal'd already listed his staus as 'single' on Facebook. Oh great, so there's no chance of resurrecting this then? Fine. I won't swim against the tide.

I'd dressed up a fair bit for this 'final meeting', so that he'd see what he was letting go; and I guess he'd tried that to. But the whole suit jacket, shirt and jeans deal really didn't work on him, and if we'd been in any other situation, I would have laughed my socks off. After launching in with "where the hell did this come from?" right after he got off the train, my shouty-side kinda died. Which is a shame. I've never had a blazing row before, might've been fun. So after a long talk and some cold home truths (after being told which, I think I'm better off without him), we went our seperate ways. Are still friends though, which is good.

The thing that gets me is it was "out of the blue" to him as well. He'd been talking with some friends on weds night, and realised what we had wasn't what he wanted. I don't know if one or other of us will go running back to the other in a few months or what. But considering what he told me he'd been doing behind my back, I don't think I'll be the one doing any running back.

I have had it up to the back teeth with work! They're kicking staff out left, right and centre, and who replaces them? Oh don't worry about that, we'll just stretch the staff we have left as thin as possible. Whoo. Great idea. Ruddy management!! Bah. *smacks head against wall*

But that's the least of my trials right now.

Today was absolutely fine until just over an hour and a half ago, when my boyfriend called. And decides he wants to change plans, and come over to mine this weekend (I was going to go down and see him at Uni). OK ... why...? "We have to talk". I don't like the sound of this ... about what? I told him to cut to the chase, and got: I want to break up with you. But I want to talk this through face to face not over the phone.

Oh s**t!!! To give him his due, he didn't just send me a text and be done with it. I really didn't see it coming though. I mean, only yesterday he phoned me and was saying how much he missed me ... and now this. WTF?? Argh!! For once I'm not looking forward to a Friday. But at least work will take my mind off it for a bit, which is a good thing. I guess.

I hope we can work it out, but ... I don't want to get my hopes up too much as the come-down will be much harsher. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

So, yeah ... feeling pretty low right now. Confused as well. And generally at a loss.

Sorry for the rant - needed to let it out somewhere.

Thanks for reading if you did. If not, I don't blame you - I tend to go on when I get started on something, hahaha.
