I'm serious. Stop whining about Jark.

While it kinda sucks he was forcefully removed, I will never miss him. Those of you that keep crying over his removal obviously don't remember the hundreds of times he visciously insulted and complained about Anime and Furry art. And you must have forgotten about how often he used to threaten to ban Anime and Furry art from DevArt entirely. He only gave it a rest because he was sick of people bitching at him about it. ~_~ I'm not saying all Anime and Furry art is good, no, but that's what my friends and I all draw, so.

Now, the other admins may be like that too, sure. But I'm sure as hell not going to miss Jark, that's for certain. Good riddance.

So, I have returned from A-kon alive. It was pretty lame this year, except for a few events. Like when me and my friends dressed as ninja and went around attacking people, ending with us getting "killed" by someone dressed as the Red Power Ranger. XDD The Ranger had so much fun doing it that we ended up doing it repeatedly all night long. I got two videos of it, if anyone wants to see.

In other news, lovely miss ~risha has become the first person to ask me for an art trade! :3 She's got some very unique and fun characters, I can't wait to start drawing them.

I'm open to other art trades, if anyone would like. I know I haven't drawn much recently, but art trades certainly do motivate me to get working! *already sketching*


I've also discovered that I can NOT shade successfully on the computer. T_T I can do flat coloring, but my shading is like... shit. I can shade just fine with pencils, though, so it looks like the majority of my art shall be colored traditionally from now on.

Yes, I've deleted my gallery. I'm basically taking a hiatus from uploading any art until I'm completely happy with and proud of my style. Which, right now, I am not. I hate it. So I'm just going to step back, work on my style, and I'll be back to upload art later on. Who knows when. T_T;;

We had to put my favorite cat to sleep this morning.

He'd been in pain all yesterday, but we couldn't take him to a vet because they were all closed. Turns out he had a ruptured bladder, which you can't really fix.

Then my retarded step-dad admitted that he'd tripped and fallen on the cat Wednesday night because he wasn't looking where he was going. I want to kill his fucking fat stupid ass.

I just found out that the two-man director team of Ron Clements and John Musker (Ron'n'John) was fired earlier this year, or rather 'their contract was not renewed'. You may or may not be familiar with them, but they are responsible for such great movies as The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules and Treasure Planet. So Disney has now lost their best directors, I would say. ~_~

Why were they let go? Because Treasure Planet flopped at the box office, even if it was an excellent movie (in my opinion). It's all about the money now, no longer about quality films. (Obviously, since Disney now makes such $#!+ as The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 and Home On The Range.) "You're only as good as your last film," said the current head of Disney. Whatever. They still lost some good talent.

Ron'n'John are currently at an independant film studio working on a show based on a famous comic strip -- that's all I could find about them. It's still a sad sad thing for Disney to have lost them, as I personally think they made great films. Hopefully this new movie of theirs will make megabucks and Disney will regret losing them.

Disney, on the other hand, is currently working on making an adaptation of Rapunzel. >.>

Update #5 - We left Lihue (in Kauai) today and flew to Honolulu. We'll be here for the rest of the trip. Today was awesome for me. :3 Honolulu is a huge city with skyscrapers, but it's like being halfway in the US and halfway in Japan. There are Asian shops everywhere, and the International Market is the best place I've been this whole trip. I got a kimono and a multitude of other cool things. X3
Also, birthday luck, I went to a shop where you pull an oyster out of a tank and the people open it and give you the pearl that's in it. I got a black pearl! Those things are (supposedly) very rare, 1 in 50 oysters. I got it made into a necklace. <3
Pretty much, though, I don't really like this island. It's very developed, like being back in Houston, and almost the entire island is one huge island. I liked it better on Kauai, where there was hardely any settlement. :3 And rainforests.
We're going to be leaving here Sunday night and flying overnight. We'll get home early Monday morning, at which point all probably be dead, but still. I'll see you all then!
