There's always one. This has got to be one of the funniest things in a long time. I think this guy should have been promoted, not fired. This is a true story from the Word Perfect Helpline, which was transcribed from a recording monitoring the customer care department. Needless to say the Help Desk employee was fired; however, he/she is currently suing the Word Perfect organization for 'Termination without Cause'.
Actual dialogue of a former WordPerfect Customer Support employee. (Now I know why they record these conversations!):

Operator: 'Ridge Hall, computer assistance; may I help you?'
Caller: 'Yes, well, I'm having trouble with WordPerfect.'
Operator: 'What sort of trouble??'
Caller: 'Well, I was just typing along, and all of a sudden the words went away.'
Operator: 'Went away?'
Caller: 'They disappeared.'
Operator: 'Hmm So what does your screen look like now?'

Not that anyone cares,

Valentine's Day - a holiday devoted to couples. People spend hundreds of dollars on things their significant others' don't need in the hope of love, companionship, and in shallow cases, sex.
I remember that all throughout grade school our parents would buy boxes of 'valentines' for us to give to our classmates. Of course this isn't in the TRUE spirit of the holiday, because it's not about couples... more like spreading your net wide in the hope of getting extra candy or something.
So now I find myself in a strange situation. At one point, I cast my own net, hoping to maybe find someone that eHarmony would call 'compatible.' Then, getting a little older and exponentially more mature, I contended to not pursue any relationship, only let fate take its course. So far it's worked well for me... of course I'm single at the time of writing this, but I'm happier now.

Strangely enough, I broke my personal mandate a few weeks ago. I half-rekindled, half-started a relationship with someone I hadn't seen in months and seriously talked to in half a year. Though, it seems like she's always busy with something or tired. (Please, don't get the wrong idea from this parallel, but a classic for a wife in bed is that she's too tired) I know I want the connection, but I clueless if the desire is mutual.

See, i can do this too. So if you actually read this, I need to know what's going on... because I can't stay interested forever if we never even get a chance to hang out.

Want to know what really grinds my gears. When people don't respect the fact that this site is called deviantART. When people put up a bunch poorly composed snapshots of themselves that hold no significance other than them just camwhoring.

There's a huge difference between a self-portrait and a "lol hi" shot. Perhaps I'm just fuming over nothing, but I think you guys can understand the difference between these two.

(Mind you the issue has been addressed and taken care of.)

The only reason I use photoshop today is because I started making forum signatures for people. It is truly strange to be in this position because I myself have done something similar before. That is, getting something that I thought was cool and using it as stock material. However, for this person to straight up rip my photo, put a filter or something over it and then slap his name on it is disgusting.

Of course, the offender never said that he was taking credit for the image or any of that, but on the other hand he never credited me and used a copyrighted image.
