BUT I'M ROCKING GUYS. I succeded in all my school examinations (cept Maths) with high marks, and that's something.
I am almost done with many of my wips, so if you are waiting for something from me, you will see it this week! (yeahIknowitshardtobelievemeatthispoint)
However I still have a lot of stuff to take care of, so I'll be very busy in the upcoming days. And I caught a cold.
Furthermore, I'll leave for Nothern Italy on Sunday, and I don't know how much I'll be able to check internet.

I got an account some days ago and although I find the avatar really cute, I have to say the site is pretty.. well, boring

I can't see why it's being everywhere lately. Maybe it's because the site is still young (I believe?) and it's only got very few things..
So I'm not really on there ;;;

I am being overflowed with homeworks and school matter lately ;; It's been a pair of months since the beginning of my senior year and I already feel a lot of pressure.
What's bad is that I keep getting really bad marks in scientifics subjects because I find them too difficult, and I'm even unsure about the subjects I'm good at.
I'm really trying my best at Physical and Astronomical geography even if it has got a lot of formulas I don't get.. but I'm quite interested in the subject. I just hope the teacher won't discriminate me because I sucked at Chemstry last year OTL

Now I'm going to try ask you for a little help.
I was choosen with other students to attend a congress on Saturday about violence in teenagers (or in general.. the teachers were very vague about it orz;;; ). Then we have to partecipate in a contest by writing an essay on the same subject.
I've been trying to look around in internet and sociological books, but I still have to gather a sufficient amout of information.
Is there anyone that can suggest me a good source for info, a site or anything you know/think about the matter?

This is my SOS ;A;

Even if it's probably very hard and probably this kind of event is a way to help some people to get what they want with unfair methods, I feel like maybe there's still a chance I can show what I'm made of, since my teachers don't think I'm that good because I don't look like an hard-working student. I want to show them that it doesn't mean I can't write better than those students.

Starting friday I'll be attending a big con in Lucca, so I'll be away for the whole weekend. I'll be back on tuesday of next week, but since I already know how much I'll be screwed with my homeworks due to the absence, I don't promise you you will see me soon.

To the people who are gonna be in Lucca (mostly Italians I believe lol), I will be there since friday afternoon, but will be rambling around in normal clothes, as I do every year. Then I will cosplay Yui from K-on on saturday and ~~cough~~ maid Lithuania on sunday (...yeah. The manry one with stockings and huge Tony pushie. That will be me).

Towards right has always been so hella difficult for no reason ;;

Definitely front view or profiles! I find everything else hard ;;

Anatomy/correct proportions and I can't draw neck or shoulders, also those bitchy FACE SHAPES. Generally very complicated things such as vehicles too, mosly because I get tired at a certain point of the work.

â What do you like to draw?
Extremely simple/funny chibies, EYELASHES, sexy moe boys

â Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I love both but I have to say I prefer traditional (I'm good at neither tho)

â Where do you start drawing from?
Usually it's the face shape, seldom from the eyes but I always start from the head

â What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
If I leave a sketch incomplete for some time, it's probable that I will never finish it (or I will try and make it into something completely different;;; )

orz... give a good contrast to lights/shadows, have fun coloring

mmh... time needed / actual time * procastination = â

â What music do you listen to while you draw?
Sometimes I have a new tune to listen to, but most of the times I always listen to the same old music. On loopping. OTL;;
I listen to a lot of different genres.

â How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Usually I start form an idea I had already in "mind storage" or I start with no idea and see what comes out.
If i get stuck on finding an idea I might never even start drawing ;;;

â Your favorite drawing utensils?
LOL everyone I know uses mechanical pencils while I have always used very soft normal pencils (that's why my sketches lines look very bold and dirty). I also enjoy drawing with inking pen. I used to draw in pens a lot but I lost that habit since an year or so.

â Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
WARM COLORS I always use the same schemes/palettes fff so boring.
I like natural, not-too-bright colors.
I almost never use purple or orange.

â Your favorite style(s)?
~~BISHIE STYLE~~ I wish I could draw cool and manry but I sadly end up drawing moe and gay.

My old printer has always had difficulties in working (it's understandable if you think it's almost 14 years old..) but since months now it doesn't work anymore at all :<
I menaged at last to convince my stubborn father that it's dead for good and in getting a new one.
What could be a good-printing, but fairly economic or convenient one? What do you use or suggest using?

I was thinking to get a laser because I heard the quality is really good.. but I don't really know how much it costs to make it last long ):

I wish I could get it before Sunday or at least in the early next week, since I need it for important school-related matters sob.

So please give me some advice if you know a little ;u;

I wish I could get some two hours of sleep now.. I've been waking up early this weeks and I feel kind of sleep deprived.. OTL

Since when back, I worked to finish a lot of wips and did some nice progress on my to-do-list. I'm taking Tuesday as a rest day (a day when I can draw/doodle whatever I want), as someone suggested me once.
So I'm alright~! I solved all my problems and I have to thank everybody who commented on my previous journal. I'm very glad about it

The weather here has calmed down and it's starting to feel chilly, which makes me even more glad and calm.
The only down is that I have to start my senior school year on Monday, which means starting to study SRSLY for once in my life.

On a side note, I'm working hard to decide a simple, light-clothed cosplay for next months' con. My only problem is that I don't want to wear any wig (it would be too late now to even order one anyway), and it's hard to find a dark chestnut short-haired, fringe character OTL
So any suggestions?

I'm soon to leave on Thursday, but I'll be in Germany at a friend's home so I'll have a limited, but free use of PC.

I'd keep on working until before I leave, but thanks to my luck, I've had some health problems which I can no longer ignore. I've been in bed all day doing nothing and feeling terrible (and should not be supposed to be here now OTL). I have to rest as much as I can before I go abroad, and try to get better, so I can work properly when I am away (I just hope my tablet drivers will work on my friend's pc.... sob)

That's the reason I'm so awfully delaying

I'm pretty excited because I've never been in these two cities before~ I heard that the weather in Venice is super-hot tho.. OTL;;
I hope it will be really cold in Vienna (I'm expecially looking forward this one).

I acually haven't got my handbag ready yet >u>;;

Usually, in this kind of sightseeing trip you never have time to relax since you're always walking up and down and rushing, but somehow I hope I will find time to read and doodle and sleep properly.

By the way, if you remember about those tourism chibis I made, the magazine got them pubblished! When I bought it I started turning pages looking for it without caring of leaving the library;; And when I went I away, I had this content smile on my face. I felt so overwhelmed~
I'll post some photos on my blog when I get back, together with the trip's ones.

On a last note, sorry if because of my trip I take so much time to finish trades and commission OTL
I have already half of the work or a sketch of them and be sure I'll complete them as soon as I return.

kind of explains everything, briefly.

I wan't expecting anything, but I felt a little bit like Antonio ahah. I'm already getting over it tho.
However, my sempai was first-placed in the mother-lenguage competition, and he was really hoping for it (it's the second time he partectipated, and the last since he's getting graduated in july). He truly deserved it, so I'm happy for him!
I'm also glad the other girl in my school got 4th placed in foreign lenguage. They didn't announce graduatory after the 4th place, so I dunno how I actually went at it.
My essay wasn't really philosophy-brialliant, but I'm sure it was correct and fluent in English.
The girls who won weren't really good in English (first place got only 85/100). So it must be because the judges didn't judge lenguage abilities much.

From tomorrow, I'll be on holidays, but my teachers gave me a bunch of homeworks OTL
I don't see any of my holidays anymore ;__;''

It'll try to concentrate on studyng and drawing, and try to do some fanarts (I always do OCs ahah).
And fill out my new Smemo mini-notebook of stuff.

As I said on LJ time ago, I tryed ~~was forced by my teacher~~ to compete in Philosophy Olympics -Foreign Lenguage section- in my school last week. The thing is that I actually passed the selections

(quite surprising since I though the teacher's pet would won.. while she wasn't even in the 1-8 graduatory ahah) so I have to participate in the regional selection in Neaples, Saturday the 28th as I learned only yesterday by my teacher (who's still giving us a bunch of homeworks :< )
The day is really close! I don't think I will have the time to get ready and study enought to do good in the essay (I did never study philosophy very well.. nor I like it much). I'll be away from the 23th for 4 days in school's trip, I'll come back on Friday and without even resting I'll have to study the whole day ;___;
This week was also crazy! I've studied whole days for today's Chem test and I just receive the news that it's been cancealed /head desk
And I now have to go to Maths extra lessons, and then get a new mobile phone (mine is kinda.. dead. But it's kida obvious if you think it's 6-7 years old), wash my hair and go to a relative house for his nameday OTL;;

I hope I did well at least in yesterday's Writing test.. I couldn't concentrate, the pressure is too much!

I actually can't find the will to draw anything.
I think I'm experiencing an I-dont-like-my-style period.

So officially, I'm on hiatus till Sunday the 29th.

Not everyone knows I've had a LJ account for a while now. The fact is that it was unactive at first, but I started using it some months ago as a wannabe memo-log. Now I won't be worried about the back up and spending time tidying up my folders (though a back up is highly needed.. I'm still afraid I could lose my data).

I just realized we're already in February.. while I still write "2008" on documents LOL
But this January has been a pretty filled up month.. many things changed since the beginning of the year (not only the DA interface XD) and they're quite going for the better.
I want to be able to do a lot of things this year and get to a turning-point in my life, starting getting money by working, or art and get an actual social life. And be indipendent, a little at least, so I can decide what I want for me, and not letting others do it, though my quite.. "misfortunate" situation. I'm aiming high, so I have to do my best!

That's why I have recently been seriously thinking about taking commissions. I had never though I would get to this point one day (always been too unconfident OTL;; ), but as I said, I want to start saving a little money.

Ok now. My problem is that I don't have a -freaking- idea of how commissions work.

You may laught.

I'm seriously needing someone to explain it to me (maybe who is already taking commissions or has bought one), in its every detail, especially what concerns method of payment (is it necessary to get a paypal account?).

And the most important question - Would you buy commissions from me? ~~or do you even think people would?~~

So after months of worring about my hair for the cosplay, I got an haircut today. Now it's the same as Kobato, short on the front and long on the back (thought my hair is pretty darker than hers XD). But srsly, I hate wigs, so there was no choice.
I have to say I don't dislike it, but everyone now is saying I'd look good with short hair and they're suggesting me to cut it completely QAQ But eh, they're so long.. I feel like committing a crime if I cut all of them. But they do grow fast, I cutted them this summer back from Germany and they're already longer than before OTL

ffff I'm like at 0% with the dress. I truly have to start working on it or it won't be ready for next weekend.

Aw I have a stupid Philosophy teacher DD:
He gives us lots of homeworks and since the beginning of the year we're stuck on christian philosophy because he's a freakin' ~~pedo~~ priest. He's totally gay for Saint Augustine and assigned like 15 pages of Augustine-praising text he got from the saint website (LOL) to each one of us students (we're 28.. do the math. it's about 400 pages in the end).
We have to read, write a summary, make a power point about it, put it all together and then study the whole thing DD:
I asked my friends in other schools, and they say they're studying Descartes, that's like 6 centuries onwards what we're studing at the moment. The worst part is that I'm sure that we'll still be studying this shit for a few months more..

Tomorrow I have no classes, but Saturday is Maths test.. *shakes*

It's been a really tiring day OTL
I wish I could have slept this whole afternoon but I had Maths lessons and lots of Maths homeworks for an upcoming test ''orz
I wish I didn't have so much to study since I don't always do my homeworks, I've pratically been slacking off in class since the beginning of the school year. My new teachers are not very reasonable and don't communicate with students (let's say they're a bunch of hateful old farts >A< ).

Also, something funny happened some days ago. It was late evening and I was studying here in the library where we have the PCs. My mother came in the room and my father was checking stupid videos he downloaded, so he showed her some anime and cartoon parodies done by Italians. So nothing special until a certain video caught my attention: there were too many bishounen acting gay for a normal anime XD
There were even some explicit scenes! My father was laughting at the song and my mother was looking prerplexed at the screen.
The whole time I pretended I was concentrating on my philosophy homeworks, but seriously, I didn't know if lol'ing at the irony of the situation or not 8D

And soo~ Yesterday was the last day of this year's con in Rome. I had to take the bus really early in the morning and I woke up at 5.30 a.m. but the buss only left at 8.00 a.m.! DDX
So we arrived very late, at 12:00 a.m. and I had the chance to meet my friends for a very small time, since they all left around 3.00 p.m. TAT
Then I met

and we hang around with a Tsukasa from Lucky Star. We've had a lot of fun and also watched part of the cosplay challenge.
Anyone knows about the Clamp in 3-D land figures? I collected some of them and I found a stand where they sold boxes from the 6th series [link] (you know how it works.. 5 diffent figures, one in each box.. you can't see the one you get). So well, I really wanted the Kobato one but I knwo it was really hard to get, but Nat told me that if I got Kentarou (the power ranger-wannabe guy) I could give it to her since she had Takeshi already. So well, I piked a box and.. guess what? I got Kentarou. Then Nat took a box out of the middle and bought it for me, I thought that I was fine with anyone who would come out at this point.. and really, really didn't expect the one in the box to actually be Kobato.
I think everyone in the con heard my joygasm XDD

WE ARE SUCH LUCKYASSES, NAT.

Then I had to leave and since I expected to wait much for the buss, I bought Miwa Shirou's "Dogs". I heard a lot about this manga, the style is cool and the edition is very pretty and not too expensive (which is rare in my country). Furthermore it's exactly my kind of story.. I can't wait to read the second volume

(are there just 2 volumes of it or is there more?).

Yesterday has been a great day, I've skipped school with

, we went to the park and had a good time sleeping on the grass, the weather was really nice too! My mother cooked a special lunch and we had sweets x3
I'm really happy, I had a peaceful day and many of my friends wished me an happy birthday. I'm very thankful to all of you, guys, you're the ones who make my birthday special :,)

On the brightest side.. this weekend I'll be off on an holidays with my lovelies (~MagicaHermione, ~Saccha, ~Lilyppe and I hope ~melkiadres too!). We'll stay at the second biggest entertainment center in Italy, and can't wait for it! Is there something better than spending the holidays with the ones you love in a wonderful place? I'm so happy x3 and you can notice!

I don't do important things, but I try to make me helpful, this Saturday there will be a fashion show in my city and all the highlights will be on our work. I had a lot of fun choosing the dresses that will go on the runway~ I can't wait!

I hope our summer will be relaxing and funny! And that it won't be really hot, I can't stand hot weather ._. And I hope I won't get bored like the last summers (aw, that was mostly because I was ill and I conforted myself with a borrowed PS2 xD).
But, more than anything, I need to practice!

By the way, I had my first try at Guitar Hero and I... totally suck at it! xDD I'd be the worst if it wan't for my sister (who didn't catch a single note). And tomorrow my friend invited me to a Guitar Hero competition D: HELP!

(..no wonder I stopped my guitar lessons when I was young, I'm totally uncordinteed with my fingers.. and now I'm using my old guitar as a model to practice drawing since it's one of the things I can't draw very well..)
