Thank you all for your messages and prayers. They all worked ^_^

Half an hour before my dad was supposed to have his op yesterday, they did an x-ray and scan, and they came back and said nature was knitting his ankle back together and it was doing a better job than they ever could O.O Best news is he's coming home today whoooo!

He's coming home with 2 zimmer frames (one for upstairs, one for downstairs) and a pair of crutches. He has to go to the fracture clinic next week where he'll be put into a special cast that he has to keep on for 3 months. After that he'll have to use crutches for 6 months.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay he'a coming home!

I finally found what happened as well. It's quite funny actually (and I slept through this)

He and my mum were arguing over who would use the loo first since they both needed it. In the end he let my mum go first.

He looked into our garden and there was a cat sitting on our fence. My dad wanted to shoo it because we have bird bests in our garden, and they were feeding. He banged on the window but it didn't move so he went outside to shoo it, and fell off our step.

I asked him why he went outside to shoo the cat since he normally doesn't, and he said the cat was giving him attitude *rolls eyes*

The jokes have been pouring in since we've told everyone lol.

I got woken up this morning by my mum yelling that my dad had broken his leg and that we were waiting for an ambulence.

Naturally I ran downstairs, and he was in the garden, looking extremely annoyed and clutching his leg. We got blankets to cover him because it was freezing cold outside.

The ambulence finally showd up... 30 mins after my mum called them! To say I was extremely pissed is an understatement. My dad is 61 years old! You don't let a 61 yr old lie outside in the freezing cold with a suspected broken leg for half an hour! If he develops pnumonia or anything like that then I will make sure that the shit will hit the fan.

My mum just called and he's had a bad break. He's got a cast up to his knee and he'll be staying in overnight. I got hold of my brother thankfully and he's gone to see them. I'm at home keeping an eye on things and taking phone calls.

I wanted to post this in case I disappear offline for a while.

I'm really scared, I hope my dad will be ok

My mum and I went to London on Friday because we decided to stay in a hotel this time. Great thing is that loads of people that were going were staying there as well so I got a glimpse of their cosplay costumes lol.

We both woke up around 6.50 Sat morning and we were so excited that we got up then. Called my dad to make sure Billy was ok

We left the hotel around 8.20 and got to the ExCel centre around 8.30. There were already about 1000 people queing there already O.O. We were all given goody bags which had a couple of decent things but overall it was just full of adverts.

While we were waiting I got some pictures of cosplayers and I have to say that the costumes were great this year ^_^.

The doors opened at around 9.15 but we had to wait as people who had prebooked their tickets went in first which is fair enough. Finally got in around 9.50 and the place we huge! Much bigger than last Octobers! O.O

First thing we did was buy smileys (things that get you a celebs autograph) and then we went to find where Amanda Tapping was because we wanted to meet her first. There was a huge, and I mean huge, crowd of people trying to meet her lol. We were given tickets with numbers on and we were number 145 so we knew we wouldn't meet her until the afternoon which was fair enough. We got in thr queue to meet Paul McGillion (Carson Beckett in Stargate Atlantis) instead. This was around 11.30 once we'd found our way around. We finally got to meet him and I got a hug and a photo taken with him ^_^ He's really really funny and friendly. Loved meeting him.

After that we went wandering around and I just happened to wander into Manga Alley lol. I brought some manga which I'd been after and then we went to a stall that sold Region 1 DVDs and I brought Cardcaptor Sakura Movie 2 The Sealed Card.

I then went to the Revelation DVDs stand because I really wanted to meet Vic Mignogna (he does various anime voices including Ed in Fullmetal Alchemist) and he was soooooo gorgeous!! There were lots of fangirls there but I managed to be one of the first to meet him lol. He was really sweet and he said he loved my name :-D. He was also kind enough to sign an extra pic for and says a big HELLO to her and sends a

After that mum and I went for lunch because it was really really hot in there. After that we went to see if we could meet Amanda Tapping but she had gone on her break and then was going to do a something promoting Sanctuary and wouldn't be back until around 2.30.

No problemo as I still had lots of money to spend lol so I went back to the stall that sold the Region 1 DVDs and brought the Fullmetal Alchemist movie, Tsubasa Character Guide and the Tsubasa box set (I know it comes out in the UK in Sep but I couldn't wait lol).

We wandered round some more and I found this gorgeous David Tennant clock so I brought that as well. Then we found the stall that sells of the stargate clothing and I brought a top that I'd always wanted. After that we tried to see Amanda again but she was doing a special signing for the people who had gone into the Sanctuary thing.

We went back outside and decided to wait. The best thing was that I hadn't needed a smiley to meet Vic so I could get an autograph for me and for my dad from her ^_^. By this time it was about 4.15 and we decided to go back in. Thankfully she was doing normal signings again so we joined the queue which only people who had numbers up to 160 could join. Phew! lol. Finally, finally I got to meet her! I was so excited and happy. She is really really pretty and really tall (she wasn't wearing heels). She was really really friendly and chatty and she wrote an extra special message for my dad with 2 kisses and let me take a piccie of her for him.

After that my mum and I were knackered so we decided to come home. I gave my dad his pic and to say he loves it is an understatement lol.

I did take piccies but I won't put them up here as DA will just remove them like they remove most of my stuff. I'll post a link to my LJ so you can see them when I put them up.

And that was it. My mum and I have said we're defo not going to the Oct Expo unless someone really special is going. For 2 weeks now they've been removing my stuff and I've had enough. I'll still comment on people's work but I refuse to submit anything now since anything I do put on there is always breaking their stupid copyright rules.

I'm at work atm and I had this woman come in to collect some books and long story short, our supllier hadn't sent 2 in (which they haven't told us why) and she started blaming me saying I wasn't straight with her and shit. She almost had me in tears the cow. I want to say a big thank you to coz if she wasn't there to cheer me up I probably would have broken down. Stupid cow! It's not my fault!

My boss found out from another customer during my lunch break what happened and he's now banned this woman *giggles*

Another thing is that DA have removed 2 of my things coz of copyright including my ID! I STATED WHAT BELONGED TO WHO!! And I would like to point out that these pieces have been online since last Aug which means someone reported me (i think i know who).

On the Friday after it snowed here I got a sore throat which doesn't really bother me and I thought it would go away in a few days.

Anyways on the Sat I went into work and it was supposed to be really cold in the shop but I was boiling! And then my friend who was going to meet me for lunch stood me up but I don't hold that against her. Anyways the rest of the day I spent behidn the counter because I was so hot and felt really dizzy and wanted to go home. Eventually we closed (yay!) and went home and then ahd to go back out to meet my friend's boyfriend from the train station since he was coming to stay. He's a really nice guy so I didn't mind. Anyways I really wanted an early night since I wasn't feeling too good but we watched a film.

Anyways I was hoping for a loooooong lay in Sunday but our stupid neighbour likes doing DIY in his garage from about 7am onwards. I swear one day he'll get a good kicking. So I couldn't get back to sleep so I had an early brekkie. My friend and her bf went out in the afternoon so I tried to go back to sleep because I was feeling really, really unwell but then I couldn't get to sleep coz I was too hot! And I had so much homework to do *cries*. My friend's bf went home later that evening *hugs Jess*

Monday I woke up feeling worse than Sunday so my mum makes me a doctor's appoitment but I can't get one until Weds and I had to go into college to finish an ICT project *cries*

Luckily in Tuesdays I have a 2 hour break inbetween lessons so I went home and my dad made me take something for my temp. It's the same stuff I use as a painkiller but it help's temperatures as well (apparently). BIG MISTAKE! I was fine during my 1 hour ICT lesson (where I got to see a pic of my friend's niece who is 3 days older than Laur's Jade aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw)but when I got to my 2nd History lesson I felt sooooo sleepy. I couldn't concentrate or lsiten and kept getting the answers wrong. My teacher always gives us a quick break and as soon as he said it was time I went BANG on the table lol ooops. He woke me up for the 2nd half of the lesson and I still couldn't concentrate. Eventually after what seemed like days (but it was only 1 hour) he let us go and told me to go see the doctor since I looked awful. Thanks!

Wenesday was the day I'd been dreading since I really really didn't want to go into college. I went to the docs before I went in and he said I had a viral infection and there was nothing he could do and that I would have to wait *cries*. My friend told me that she had sent a message to the guy I like telling him about my feeling O.O. Anwyays I then went into college and saw loads of guys dressed up smartly carrying roses and loads of girls hugging their roses O.O I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I didn't know whether to text the guy that I really really like and tell him everything but I chickened out.

Thursday I started to feel a little better (yay). I saw the guy I like in the morning (we have History together) and he was telling me about how a girl gave him a card so he brought her a bunch of flowers. O well, my loss. In the afternoon I was chatting to my other friends (guys) about the day before and how it went for them. One of them told me about how he saw Chris (the guy I like) on the bus and that he went up to this girl and started chatting her up and that he was acting like he was "desperate". I really felt like crying but I held it in and acted normal. I felt so hurt and upset. I kept thinking, am I not good enough? Am I not good enough for someone who is "desperate"?. My friend Jess really helped me and cheered me up *mega hugs and glomps to Jess*

I didn't want to face Chris on Fri in History but I still went in and one of my friends got in early as well so I told him everything and he was so sweet and he cheered me up as well *mega hugs and glomps to Iain*. He told me what he thought of Chris and to be honest, he's probably right. And then Chris didn't even bother coming in! Probably better that way. History was a lot of fun!

I still feel kinda down about the whole Chris situation but I'll get over it. It just hurt and it still does and I hate feeling like I'm not good enough for someone. I can honestly say that I loved him. I guess what I really want to know is where I stand with him. I feel like my heart has split in 2 and I hate this feeling. But I'm determined to pick myself up and move on. I'm going to use this week to calm myself down and sort myself out.

Sorry its been a while! I've been really busy with college work and with my job. I can't remember if I mentioned it in my last journal but I got a job at the beginning of Nov woot! Now I have some money yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! I absolutly love it!

Had to get up at 6am to catch early trains coz I wanted to get in early. The cosplay was amazing!! Anyone who cosplayed...GO FOR IT!! Seriously there were some great costumes! A lot of it was Naruto but there was quite a few Eds and loads from Final Fantasy.

And I met Joe Flannigan (John Sheppard from Stargate Atlantis) *squeeeeeeeee* ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^ ^^

And Joel Gretsch (Tom Baldwin from the 4400) *squeeeee* ^^ ^^

I brought some adorable plushies as well! I brought Syaron and Sakura from Tsubasa!! They're so cute! ^^

Today the world lost a great man. I was going to talk about my college induction but it doesn't feel right.

Steve Irwin was such a great guy. He was one of my heroes and someone I really wanted to meet. My brother saw him when he went to austrailia and saw him doing one of his crocodile shows.

He was filming for part of his daughter's show about dangerous animals. Sadly a stingray barb got him through the heart and he was pronounced dead at 12.00pm austrailian time.

He came over the top of a stingray and the stingray's barb went up and went into his chest and put a hole into his heart," Irwin's shocked manager John Stainton told reporters in Cairns, south of Port Douglas.

A helicopter rushed paramedics to nearby Low Isles where Irwin was taken for treatment, but he was dead before they arrived, emergency officials said.

"It became clear fairly soon that he had non-survivable injuries," Dr. Ed O'Loughlin, who treated Irwin, told Nine Network television.

"He had a penetrating injury to the left front of his chest. He had lost his pulse and wasn't breathing," he said.

Irwin's death was likely only the third recorded fatal stingray attack in Australia, experts said. They said stingray venom was agonisingly painful but not lethal, although the barb was capable of causing horrific injuries like a knife or bayonet.

"It's not the going in, it's the coming out," Australian Venom Research Unit deputy director Dr Bryan Fry told Reuters.

"They have these deep serrations which tear and render the flesh as it comes out," he said.

"CRIKEY"

Known around the world for his catchphrase "Crikey" during close encounters with wild animals, Irwin made almost 50 documentaries which appeared on the cable TV channel Animal Planet. He became a virtual global industry generating books, interactive games and even toy action figures.

Irwin was described as "a modern-day Noah" and his death shocked world leaders, fellow naturalists and humble Australians who said he was "a bloody good bloke".

"I really do feel Australia has lost a wonderful and colourful son. He brought immense joy to millions of people, particularly to children, and it's just such a terrible loss," emotional Australian Prime Minister John Howard told reporters.

British naturalist and broadcaster David Bellamy described Irwin as a great performer and an excellent natural historian.

"He did take enormous risks, but he knew what he was doing. It was one of the terrible, terrible, terrible accidents and I wish to God it didn't happen," Bellamy told the BBC.

GREW UP WITH REPTILES

Born on February 22, 1962, in the southern Australian city of Melbourne, Irwin moved to tropical Queensland where his parents ran a small reptile and fauna park.

He grew up near crocodiles, trapping and removing them from populated areas and releasing them in his parent's park. He took over the park in 1991 and renamed it the "Australia Zoo".

Irwin became famous for his seemingly death-defying skill with wild animals, including crocodiles and snakes.

He met his U.S.-born wife Terri at the zoo and the footage of their honeymoon -- which they spent trapping crocodiles -- formed the basis of his first "Crocodile Hunter" documentary.

Later shows had a worldwide audience of 200 million, or 10 times the population of Australia.

They had two children, Bindi Sue and Robert Clarence.

Irwin triggered outrage in 2004 by holding his then one-month-old son while feeding a snapping crocodile at his zoo.

He was also criticised for allegedly disturbing whales, seals and penguins while filming in Antarctica.

Irwin boasted that he had never been bitten by a venomous snake or seriously bitten by a crocodile, although admitted his worst injuries had been inflicted by parrots.

"I don't know what it is with parrots but they always bite me," Irwin once said. "A cockatoo once tried to rip the end of my nose off. I don't know what they've got against me."


He was a great man who loved his wife Terri and his two kids Bindi and Bob. He loved life and loved animals so much. He's done so much for animal welfare and for the environment. He will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family.

I actually got back a week Sat ago but I was too tired and lazy to write a journal.

Here's what I did. (taken from my LJ)

Had to get up at 3am *groan* Slept for part of the way then listened to CDs for the rest of the journey. I got a Doctor Who audio CD read by David Tennant a few days before so I made them put that on Finally got to the flat around 2.30pm. IT WAS HUGE!!!!! I took piccies of it so I'll get them up when I get the piccies developed (I got 2 disposable cameras). The beach is right out the front of the flat so we went for a walk in the evening. We were staying in a flat in Carnoustie which is a small but pretty place.

We went to Edinburgh!!! We went by train to give my dad a rest from all the driving. Edinburgh is not as ncie as it was 3 years ago. The station was filthy and you have to pay to use the loo. I mean, humans have been doing that since the dawn of time! Why the hell do we have to pay to use the bloody loo! Sorry, needed to say that. Also only 2 out of 6 of the loos were working.We met up with an old friend of the family (who hasn't changed a bit!) adn went wondering around Edinburgh. We went to the National Gallery and then to McDonalds (which was so filthy it was unbelieveable!) and then wondered round some more before we came home.

Brilliant! Very emotional! You could not have asked for better acting, especially from Billie Piper. And Catherine Tate appearing at the end! That was a surprise! I admit a fear tears escaped me but hey! it was very sad seeing Rose and The Doctor say goodbye forever *sob*. I'm really looking forward to the Christmas Special now. It's called The Runaway Bride. Can't wait!!

I'm going on holiday on Friday to Scotland for 2 weeks and I won't have any internet access unless I can find an internet cafe. This will be my last journal entry until I get back or until I get internet access.

I finally finished all exams that I can revise for so now I can work on my fics again and start some new ones that I've been writing in my spare time.

Also I'm going to be 18 on Sunday! Hopefully going to see X-Men 3 with some friends. I don't know what I'm getting apart from an MP3 player. I'm hoping to get a PS1 from my bro so I can save my PS1 games that I play on my PS2. I'll let you all know what I get.

Nothing else has been happening. In college atm bored as always lol. I've got an interview next Weds so I'll know then whether I can do Human Biology and Psychology A-Level in 1 year. Wish me luck!

There were the usual things 4kids does. Knives changed into glowy things etc but the thing that really pissed me off was that they chopped the end off!

I haven't seen the Japanese versian of this but from what I heard, Yugi makes a speech and it ends with the gang in Domino(If I got this wrong please tell me). Well, for the 4kids versian, Yugi's speech was 1 sentence long! And the ep ended with them all still in Egypt looking at the sky! THOSE BASTARDS AT 4KIDS SCREWED IT UP!! GRRRRRRRR!!

I don't normally get mega mega mad at 4kids, yeah I get cross at the stuff they cut out but I don't blow my top, until today. Now I really want to go and kill everyone at 4kids!

Ok, calmer now. In other news. Capsule Monsters will be shown in the UK starting next Sunday. 9am Sky One, repeated at 10.30am on Sky Two.

I'm really really bored today. My timetable has changed so now Thursday is just Tutorial/Workshop for catching up on work. But I'm already up-to-date so I have nothing to do which puts me in a bad mood.

Well I'm in my lesson with nothing to do so I thought I'd update my journals at long last. This is my last lesson and then 2 weeks of freedom! (YAY!!!).

Well I don't have anything special planned. I was going to go to New York with my mum next week but she's ill again so we're going to wait until around Oct time to go instead. I admit I'm pissed off and upset about it but it can't be helped that she's unwell and with all these probs with her heart she prob wouldn't be able to fly there now anyways. We're going to go by cruise later in the year so my sad can come with us then as he can't fly long distances either.

My mum said she'll take me shopping and we might go to the science museum in London. I know that sounds boring but it's a lot of fun plus they have really cool exhibitions. They've got a new one all about Pixar and the history of animation! Hopefully going to go to that.

I have pics and fics planned as well. I've started working on my new one called Broken which features Yami having a breakdown basicly after something happens to him. Also got updates for Prince of Egypt and 2 more One Shots called Love you Forever (finished, need to post up here) and Master. I also have some pics in mind and since I have only a tiny but of homework I'll have lots of time to work on my fics and draw all the pics I have been planning

Feeling a bit down today. Had to go to the opticians and now I have to wear glasses everytime I use a PC and when I'm reading. But don't get me wrong! I'm not depressed coz of that!

To be honest, I dunno why I'm feeling down. I guess it's coz I'm worried about the future. I honestly don't know what I want to do. I'm doing a business course right now but I don't know if Business is the route I want to take in life. I mean, I don't want to spend my whole work life working in an office, thats way too boring! I like writing, no, I LOVE writing and I like writing scripts and stories. But I'm not sure if I'm a good enough writer to base a career on it. And also, I'm not sure if I want to do writing as a career in case it takes away my love for writing. I did Art GCSE and it completely took away my love for Art. I'm starting to get my artistic "mojo" back but it's not the same as it was *sigh*

Sorry guys I've probably bored you all to tears, or sleep lol.

Just needed to get that off my chest.

After having a convo with I've decided to start putting my fics up on here as well as ff.net. The fics I'm going to put uo for the moment are:

A Final Wish- YYxY-ONE SHOT- Yugi is dying so Yami takes him out for the day. Yugi asks for one more thing at the end.

The Prince of Egypt- AtemuxYugi- AU. 5000 years ago a prince named Atemu was born with a special magic that could save the world, or in the wrong hands, destroy it. One night the palace was attacked and his father died defending him and his mother. His mother used her magic to send him along with Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl into the future. Atemu was raised in the Shadow Realm. But one day, he had an accident and ended up in Domino City where he met Yugi and the gang. Now he must adjust to this new realm, while hiding from a great evil who will stop at nothing to get his magic.

I know they sound bad but please give them a chance!

I got half term next week yippie!! So I'll have more time to draw more pics and update my fics quicker.

Nothing much has been happening. My mum was taken to hospital last Fri in an ambulence with a suspected heart attack. Luckily it wasn't and she's home now resting.

Nothing else has happened. Will hopefully be putting more artwork up soon when I get a chance.

Feeling a bit better. I had a slight relapse on Friday which sucked coz my Dad took me shopping *cries*

Hope you all had a good new year!

Yesterday I ended up in hospital (not fun!).

I woke up yesterday around 9.15 with some pain in my abdomen but not so bad. I had my breakfast and my parents went out shopping for some new doors or something like that. The pain started to get worse and I started to feel really sick. My parents came home around 12.30 to find me in bed. The pain just got worse and worse so they took me to A&E. We waited for about an hour until a triage nurse saw me. She gave me some painkillers which didn't work at all. I was in so much pain at this point I was actually crying (I'm a wimp I know). About an hour after that I was taken to a cubicle where they put one of those tap thingys into my vein in my arm. Waited there for about an 1 and 1/2 when they finally gave me some more painkillers that didn't work either. Tried going to sleep but couldn't because of the pain. Eventually the docter came back and said they'd ruled out all of the serious stuff (appendicitis etc)and that they were going to send me home. I was given a pack of these really strong painkillers and was told I could go home. My Dad went to go get the car and I was still feeling really sick at this point. My mum and I walked outside where I proceeded to throw up in the bushes (YUCK!). Eventually got home where I sat and talked to my poor budgie who'd been alone all day and then took some of the painkillers and went to sleep.

Woke up this morning feeling sore (like I'd been kicked/punched in my abdomen) and really tired. Taken some more painkillers today and just have to wait and see what happens.

The docters didn't really know what was wrong with me but he thinks it could have been an attack of IBS. He said if this happens again I have to go see my GP.
